#1 of Yado Chuya hotel

This is a new story series that I'm working on. I'm still in the begining stage, but I will keep up with this one. I promise ^_^ Disclamer: some of the actions depicted in this story happened on yiff chat. The names of some of the furs have been changed to protect the innocent. Any names that are similar to those on yiffchat are purely coincodental. Any questions or comments will be accepted and read, so feel free to post what you feel ^_^

A young kangaroo stumbled aimlessly through the midnight forest. The moon light beams of light scattered throughout the darkness. Twigs snapped and leaves flew under the roos large feet, disturbing the usual peace of the surroundings. An erratic look was plastered across the roos face as he fought his way through the darkness, constantly looking behind him. Dangerous shadows loomed all around as he tried desperately to get to a seemingly unreachable sanctuary.

Then the forest ended into a clearing. The most enormous building the roo had ever seen. It was several stories high and seemed endless in length and width. It didn't matter to the roo, however. It was somewhere that looked safe. He threw himself against the giant oak doors, pummeling it with his clenched fists. The door opened and a small raccoon poked its head out.

"What's all that racket about? What do you want?"

The roo shot a few glance behind him, his heart still racing from fear. His voice was erratic and shook as he panted out his plea.

"You have to help me.....there's a.....it almost killed me.....you have to let me in......I'm lost and....."

The raccoon put his paw on the frantic roos mouth and laughed.

"It's ok. It's ok. Come on in. You'll be safe here."

The raccoon ushered the shaking roo inside of the massive building, locking the door behind them. The room they were in looked exactly like a five-star hotel waiting room. Red cushions lined the flowered wallpaper. The room was fairly small and empty. Various dollies, luggage carriers, and clothes racks were scattered neatly through out the room. Just about everything was gold fringed. A large desk that looked like a reception desk with many letters littering the top only emphasized the hotel feel.

"Well....I guess we should get you all set up, now shouldn't we?" stated the raccoon, walking behind the desk and fingering through a filing cabinet. The roo leaned against the front of the desk, still shaken from the forest.

"Um....excuse me, but..... What do you mean, get me all set up?" he questioned, starting to relax in the comforting atmosphere. Elevator music played softly in the background.

"Well if you're going to stay here, you need to fill some things out and know some of the rules. Don't worry, there aren't many. First things first, what is your name?" The raccoon stared down at a form attached to a clipboard, pen at the ready. It was apparent that he had done this many times before.

The roo hesitated for a few moments before answering.

"Just call me Daishu."

The raccoon looked at Daishu suspiciously, but shook it off and continued with the form.

"Ok then, Daishu....you're a roo....red fur....." he looked carefully at Daishu, seeming to be measuring him with his eyes. This whole experience made Daishu very uneasy.

His fur was a fire red and went nicely with his black nose, paws, and feet. Since he was still fairly young, he wasn't very tall. His eyes were a piercing blue. A black, button shirt decorated with Japanese kanji was opened, exposing a white tank top that matched his snow white chest and belly fur. A pair of baggy jeans hid his legs from view. His long, thick tail swung nervously at the raccoon studied him. His fingers were laced in front of his chest.

"Err....what.....do you.....what is your name?" He asked timidly. The raccoon laughed, slightly embarrassed.

"Oh, I'm sorry, how rude of me. My name is Clyde Houzer. I keep track of all the records here."

"Nice to meet you Clyde....one more question. Where, exactly, is here?"

Clyde was hit with a look of utter surprise. "You're kidding? You don't know where this is? You've never herd of Yado Chuya? Well then you're in for a treat." He smiled widely and walked out from behind the desk to a large map that took up an entire wall.

"This is the grand Yado Chuya. There are countless things you can do here. There's a man made beach over in the far south corner. A bar if you're feeling a bit thirsty right next to the beach. On the second floor there is the forest....oh don't worry, it's not connected to the outside. Nothing in here is. There's no need. If you don't like salt water or the beach scene, then there's a water park here on the next floor. Next to the forest is a small rest cabin. There's a play room towards the center of the building, needless to say, it's not for children." Clyde grinned and nudged Daishu.

"Ok, anyway.... there's a small dance club in the back on the fourth floor. It's usually empty, but you never know who'll be in there. There are a few more rooms on the higher up floors, but Ill let you see what they're about for yourself. Wouldn't want to ruin the surprise. Below this floor is the dungeon. You can access it through that door over there." he pointed to a stone door in the far corner.

"And finally, beyond those doors over there, he pointed to two red velvet double doors. Is the main lobby. That's where most new comers like you can go and get to know everyone. They can tell you more about this place than I can. Oh, but before you go take this. Clyde handed him a key and a map of the building. This key will get you into your room, 2606. The rooms are on the top floor. Well, that's all I can tell you so go on! Get out there and have some fun." Clyde smirked and practically pushed Daishu through into the main lobby.

The lobby was huge. Furs of all shape, size, and species were chatting, relaxing and finding different ways to show their affection for each other. Large, red plush couches were arranged in different fashions to allow for multiple groups to congregate. Comfy bean bag chairs sat in small circles. The walls were covered in the same flowery wall paper as the waiting room.

Daishu walked into the sea of unfamiliar faces. He looked around, half expecting to see someone he knew, but that was impossible. Everyone he knew was gone. A dark blue beanbag chair caught his eye so he decided to sit down and study his surroundings and the map.

After a few minutes, a wolverine sat down next to Daishu. The wolverine had on a pair of baggy blue jeans and a white under shirt. He was surprised to see a kangaroo. There weren't many out there. He couldn't think of the right words to say to the silent kangaroo so "Hi." was all he could say.

Daishu lifted his head from the map and looked at the wolverine and smiled as he always did when he met someone new. "Oh, hi. How are you?"

The wolverine smiled, feeling relieved that he wasn't being ignored. "I'm doing pretty good. You must be new here. I'm Toby." he extended his paw.

Daishu laughed and shook Toby's hand. "Nice to meet you. I'm Daishu.....what gave it away that I am new?"

Toby scratched his head and smiled widely.

"Well it was a couple of things. First, most people who've been here for awhile don't need to look at the map or anything. Second, you were sitting alone and didn't look like you were waiting for someone. The last give away was that I haven't seen you before, and I know almost everyone here. Plus you didn't have anything in a directory....or at least no picture."

"Directory?" Daishu folded the map and put it in his pocket. Toby rummaged around in his pocket and pulled out a small black device. It was about the size of a PDA.

"On here is a complete list of all the current residents here on YC."

He pushed a small button on the side and the front panel swung open, exposing a large touch screen with several pages of names. A-F, G-M, N-S, T-Z, and Search were the page names. "The names on display now are the most current members. Ones that have only been on for three days or less. As you can see, YC gets a lot of new members."

Daishu leaned in close and looked at the long list of names. Toby scooted closer, allowing Daishu to get a better look.

"If you touch one of the names, a brief profile pops up. The profile is totally up to the user, so some things are.....a little exaggerated." They both laughed and Toby closed the Directory

"Where do I get one?" Daishu asked curiously. He turned his head to look at Toby and caught him looking at his pants. Toby coughed and acted like he was looking at something else.

"Oh...um....well you can get it in your room. What room are you staying in?"

Daishu dug around in his pocket, fishing out his key.

"2606"

"Cool. That's right near me. Do you want me to show you around a little bit?"

Daishu only shrugged, thinking Toby was only being friendly. It better to wander around with a friend rather than sit alone. They walked through one of the many doors and entered a small elevator. Toby pressed the button for the second floor and up they went. Daishu started to relax as the soothing piano music played in the background. That is until Toby put his arm around his shoulder and quickly but softly kissed him.

Everything seemed to stop and Daishu looked up, a little confused and disturbed. He had never been kissed before by another male and thought had a feeling that something was wrong with that. Toby just stood there and smiled, trying not to laugh at the startled look on the roos face.

"W-what was that for?"

Toby just shrugged and smiled. "I don't know. Just thought that I should. Hehe its how we act around here."

"But....you're a guy....and....don't you only kiss girls?"

Daishu was still a bit shaken. But before Toby had a chance to respond, the elevator doors opened. Before them was a vast, moon lit forest. Daishu froze in the elevator. Toby pulled Daishu.

"Come on.....what's wrong?"

Daishu just stared into the forest like a deer caught in the headlights.

"W-were in....I can't go in there! I-I...."

Toby stepped next to the now shaking roo and put his arm around his back. "It's ok. There's nothing out there that will hurt you. Trust me. Now come on.....well go slowly, ok?"

After a few minutes of listening to the different sounds of the forest, Daishu nodded and walked very cautiously through the forest, clinging to Toby every step of the way. This didn't bother Toby at all. He enjoyed being that close to someone so they just continued their way through the forest. Every once in awhile, Daishu jumped at a noise, clinging around Toby tighter.

Eventually they reached a small cabin towards the middle of the forest. The room was pitch black except the moon light that was shining through a small hole in the ceiling. Toby walked over and lit a small fire in the fireplace. The room was instantly illuminated as the fire sent shadows dancing along the wall. A rather large bed was pushed against the wall next to two small windows.

Toby walked over to the bed and padded a spot next to him for Daishu. The wind blew through the hole in the ceiling and Daishu walked over to the bed, wrapping the blanket around his shoulders. Toby put his arms around his shoulders and nuzzled Daishu's tense neck. To Daishu's surprise, he let out a soft murr. There was still something wrong about the way Toby acted, but Daishu had never before received attention like this, and he loved it.

He started to relax and found himself leaning against Toby's steadily scritching paw. He slowly closed his eyes, murring as Toby's paws rubbed his shoulders and back, slowly moving down his spine. Daishu felt Toby pull him closer onto his lap. Toby leaned his head over Daishu's shoulder and slowly started nibbling his neck. The roo could do nothing but murr at the loving attention. He never wanted it to end.

The wolverine's paws rubbed across Daishu's sides, working their way over to rest in his lap.

Something was wrong. Daishu grabbed Toby's paw and looked up at him. He couldn't say anything. Words buzzed through his head, but none could make their way to the surface. The two stared at each other until Toby leaned in to kiss Daishu.

"We can't....."

"Just relax"

Toby's voice was soothing. He was like a siren. He turned Daishu around, laying him on his back and leaning over him. His wide paws were placed on either side of Daishu's body. The silver moon shone through the open window, illuminating Toby's features. Something changed. Daishu looked up at Toby and saw that his fur was getting thicker. His muscles grew larger and his claws lengthened, piercing into the mattress. Daishu started to panic and tried to get free.

Toby opened his mouth, exposing his sharp fangs. He gripped Daishu's squirming shoulders, pinning him to the bed.

"T-Toby...stop. Let me go."

"Relax......I wont hurt you......it'll be over soon..."

Daishu's eyes darted around, looking for a way out. He kicked Toby's side, but it had no effect. Toby simply smiled and dragged a claw along Daishu's chest, easily cutting his shirt down the middle. Daishu reached his paws up, grabbing a pawful of fur and twisting. Toby howled in pain, releasing his grip. He lifted his paw and slashed it across Daishu's muzzle, sending him to the floor. Daishu quickly scrambled to his feet, making a mad dash to the door. He herd a deep growl and could only assume that is was Toby chasing after him. The door seemed to be miles away. Daishu felt Toby's powerful paws grab him by the back of the neck, squeezing tightly. He dug his claw into Daishu's back, dragging it down his spine.

Daishu winced and yelled as loud as he could, kicking his foot into Toby's muzzle. A loud crack echoed through the cabin and Daishu took the opportunity and scrambled to the door, escaping into the forest. The only thought in his mind was to keep running. He thought it ironic that he was once again running desperately through the forest. The two deep cuts along his muzzle throbbed. Warm blood trickled down his muzzle. This, however, was nothing compared to his back. He knew he was cut badly and that he would need to have his wound treated soon.

The blood loss and shock caused him to fight to stay conscious. Daishu knew if he didn't make it out of the forest, Toby would surely find him. But how would he get out? He reached in his pocket and pulled out the map. His vision started to blur, rendering the map illegible. He groaned and looked around. Once again feeling lost and hopeless. The only difference was this time, he was scared. He was in completely unfamiliar surroundings and in need of medical attention.

A twig snapped somewhere nearby and Daishu froze. Was it Toby? Daishu gathered his remaining strength and ran. A small light could be seen in the distance. It was the elevator! Daishu dashed towards the sanctuary. Staggering in and pushing a button. He felt the elevator rise and he collapsed to the floor.
