Lion, Tiger and Bears, oh my, part 18
#18 of Lion, Tiger and Bears, oh my
Simon has to deal with teh fallout of the betrayal
December 24th, 2013
I was lying on top of something warm, comfortable and furry, I could tell that even in my mostly asleep state. It felt good to be thrusting against it, to feel my cock move in and out of that warm, moist, tunnel. The faster my thrusting, the better it felt so I saw no point in slowing down. I floated in this cloud of pleasure for an unknown amount of time before the ecstasy exploded through me like lightning. And a moment later I was falling back down on my comfortable furry bed, sleep claiming me again.
"Oh wow," someone said in a deep voice, and my bed shifted.
I cracked my eyes open and looked at the brown fur of my bed, wondering why it was moving. A moment later I was fully awake, with the realization I was resting on top of Brandon in his bear form, and I was in my wolf form.
"Oh fuck!" I rolled off him. "I'm so sorry. I don't know what came over me."
"S'ok, Simon. If I wasn't willing to chance being fucked by a werewolf, I wouldn't have gotten in bed with him."
I looked at him and he smiled at me.
"I'm still sorry. I haven't lost control like this in a long time, or shifted in my sleep."
"Don't sweat it. Actually, I'm happy that you're responsive. You've had us worried these past days."
I frowned. "How long have I been back?"
"Five days."
I stared at him. That couldn't be right. I remembered driving back, talking with Kody and going directly to bed in Brandon's bedroom. It had been the one we'd been using since he always slept with Kody. After that things got fuzzy. I could remember eating a couple of times, and going to the bathroom, but not enough to account for 5 days. "Really?"
Brandon nodded. "We weren't too concerned when you slept through an entire day; you looked pretty wrung out when you got in. We tried to wake you during the second day, but you just pushed us away. You did respond to food, but just to scarf it down. Hell you didn't even react to me sleeping next to you till this morning."
"You've been sleeping with me every night?"
"Pretty much."
"Shouldn't you have been sleeping with Kody?"
"Dad figured you shouldn't sleep alone." Brandon placed a hand on my chest and rubbed it slowly. "What happened?"
I shut my eyes tight as I thought about Lao's betrayal. "I'm not ready to talk about it."
Brandon nodded. "Do you at least feel like getting out of bed?" he asked after a moment of silence. "Maybe grab a shower?"
"Yeah, I could really use one," I replied with a grin.
He led me to the large shower stall adjoining his bedroom and within moments we were soaking under a rain fall in the center of the stall. The stall was quite large, it could probably fit everyone in the house a few times over. The rain fall was large enough that me, Lao and Arsalan had been able to shower together under it.
The memory of the comfortable times I'd shared with them over these last few weeks surged forward and within moments I was sobbing, trying to understand why they had done this to me.
Brandon wrapped his large arms around my large frame and I rested back against him. It felt pleasantly comfortable to be held like that. Arsalan had gotten in the habit of holding me while I slept after exhausting myself working on getting the journal.
The memory brought back the anger and I pushed him away. "Don't you fucking dare touch me!"
Brandon said something, but I didn't hear it, I wasn't even seeing him at that moment. When he approached me again I pushed him back. "You think you can just play nice and I'll forget how you fucked me over? No fucking way!" I tried to punch him, but Brandon caught my fist, and then the other one when I tried again. He pulled me against him and then held me tightly.
I fought him as hard as I could, but as strong as I am in my wolf form, Brandon was stronger as a bear. Once I was out of strength I started crying again, burying my face in his fur. Brandon continued to hold me, but his grip relaxed. At some point I shifted back to human and he continued to comfort me.
Brandon washed and dried me in silence, and other than to apologize I didn't say anything either.
"How are you feeling?" Brandon asked, as I sat on the bed and took my neatly folded clothes on the side table.
"A bit better," I replied. "I'm really sorry for pushing you like that."
"I told you before, it's ok, but I would like to know what happened to make you feel this way."
I was silent for some time, looking at my pants before I was able to start telling him. I managed to get through all of it without letting myself cry, but my eyes were red and wet by the time I was done, and Brandon was holding me tenderly.
I dried my eyes in the silence that followed and felt calmer then I had before the shower. I felt Brandon take a deep breath against me.
"You should know that Arsalan's in town," he said, "and that he wants to see you."
I bolted up. "No way! There's no fucking way that I'm seeing him again after what they did!"
"He doesn't seem to know what's going on."
"I don't care, there's nothing you can say that'll make me want to go there and listen to what ever lies he's got ready now."
* * * * *
I entered the diner still not believing Brandon had talked me into coming. A quick scan of the half dozen patrons showed Arsalan's disheveled head in a booth by the wall, looking a bit lack-luster. He stood on seeing me, but sat back down at the glower I gave him.
I sat opposite him and the waitress immediately came to the table. "I'll have a coffee, black, no sugar," I said.
"Can I have another piece of chocolate cake?" Arsalan asked, softly.
"Are you sure? It'll be your seventh."
"I know . . .. I . . . Please?" he pleaded.
"Of course you can sweetheart." She patted his shoulder. "Is that him?" Arsalan nodded and she glared at me before leaving.
I fumed, wondering what he might have told her about me, while I waited for her to come back with my coffee, and didn't acknowledge the other glare she gave me.
"What do you want?" I asked once she left.
Arsalan didn't immediately reply, instead he cut a piece of the cake with his spoon and moved it around the plate before eating it, showing none of the gusto I was used to seeing from him when it came to devouring food.
"I want to know what happened," he said so softly I hardly heard him, and not looking up.
"Why don't you ask your fuck buddy?"
"I can't. He left." He still couldn't look me in the eyes.
"I guess he didn't have a use for you anymore, either."
"I don't know," he looked at me, eyes wet. "I don't know why he left. I don't know why you left. I don't know why you shot me." The strain in his voice almost made me look away, but I forced myself to keep scowling at him.
"I didn't want you to interrupt the discussion I was having with him."
His eyebrows went up. "Why didn't you just tell me to leave for a while?"
"You wouldn't have listened."
That left him speechless for a moment. "Why did you leave? I thought we were friends, I thought we care . . ."
"You think I'd have hung around," I interrupted him, "after what you two did to me?" He didn't have any right going there after what they'd put me through.
"I didn't do anything!"
The other patrons all turned in our direction and the waitress glared at me again.
"What?" I asked loudly looking at each of them in the eyes until they looked away. I looked back at Arsalan. "You really expect me to believe that you didn't know what the tenderness you were showing me was doing to me?"
"Lao said that I'd have a better chance of getting you to let me fuck you that way, instead of constantly hitting on you."
"And you just went along with that no matter what it did to me." Lao had used Arsalan, just like he had me, a voice in the back of my head said. I didn't care. I didn't want him to be a victim, *I* was the victim here, not him.
I stood and Arsalan grabbed my hand. "Please don't go," he pleaded.
"Let go of me," I growled.
"Please. I'm sorry for what Lao did. I don't know what it is. After I woke up we walked by to the town, and he didn't say one word. Once there, he stole a car and abandoned me."
"Let go of me," I repeated.
"Please, I really am sorry. Just tell me what I have to do to make it right. I'll do anything you want . . . Just don't abandon me too."
"If you don't let go of my hand right now, I'm going to rip your arm out of its socket."
Arsalan stared at me for a moment and then released my hand.
I headed to the door. I glanced over my shoulder once I was there, Arsalan's head was in his hands and he was shaking. I told myself that those weren't sobs I was hearing coming from him. I repeated that to myself over and over as I left and hoped that I'd believe it.
