#1 of The Wolf Boy

This is a story I have started about a week and a half ago. Though I do want to warn you this is not going to be an entirely all ages story. So if you don't see some chapters that is why. I hope you like this story.

"Where is your money," the man asks again getting annoyed. Grasping his gun up to his victims head. "Where is the damn money," He shouts.

The victim glances over at his wife and child. Hoping with all his heart that they'll make it out of there.

The robber fires a bullet right next to the father's ear. Blowing a hole in the wall. "Answer me you filthy fur, answer me, where is your damn money!" The man yells holding the barrel of the gun up to the father's neck. "Tell me right now or your family will be gone," The robber yells slamming his fist into the face of the wolf father. "TELL ME," he yells grasping the gun ready to pull the trigger.

"Upstairs in the master bedroom closet, behind the cloths, please don't hurt him," The teen boy cries out. "We live here in the ghetto we don't have much, please just let my father go."

"Oh, so the boy has to answer for the father. That doesn't seem right but hey you're just a bunch of furs" The man spits on the father and pistol whips him in the jaw. The father falls to the ground bleeding.

"You prick, if you lay one more of your fingers on him I'm going to rip your face off," The mother yells tearing in her eyes as she grasps her son. Holding him tight, as to never let go.

The man looks her in the eye. "Oh the bitch has some nerve," He says as he spits on her snout. "You furs are all the same, pathetic assholes, worth nothing more than as pets. As you should be."

The father leaps forward claws out ripping his legs, Blood splattering as he growls.

The robber leaps back and points the gun at him, "I just wanted the money and I would have been fine," He says panting from the searing pain coming from his leg. "But now it's personal."

The man holds the gun up to the fathers head. "Burn in hell, you disgrace to the planet," He says as a blast shoots out. Blowing a bullet through the fathers head. He collapses, dead.

The mother squeezes her boy, they cry together.

"Time to die," The man says holding the gun to the mothers head.

"Hamato," The mother says, "Mommy loves you, and forever wi..." A blast to pause time. The world stops. The bullet travels through her snout into her brain. The squeezing around Hamato gets harder, then nothing. She collapses, blood dripping out of her sides of her head.

The boy, Hamato, Grasps his mother's hand, squeezing, knowing any moment he will wake up, any moment it will all be over. "Forever," He says falling onto her lifeless body. The tears soaking her warm fur.

"Now it's your turn," The robber says pointing the gun in Hamato's Face. The pistol staring at him. How could this be happening? Why him.

The man grips the gun. Squeezing the trigger. "Any last words you fur," The man asks.

Hamato stares at the gun. With all his might, all the anger and rage building up, the sorrow, the frustration, building up. Whispering in his ear. Telling him, "You can survive."

The wolf boy opens his mouth and says to the man, "You have no right to live, you are the kind that makes us Antro's loath humans. You are the reason for terror in this world. It is you. And I won't let it continue." A hand swipes hitting the gun inches away.

The man pulls the trigger blasting the wall. Hamato stands up and leaps. Claws out growling, latches onto his face. Digging his claws into his eyes. Blinding the man.

The man screams dropping the gun and falling to the ground. Hamato grabs the gun pointing it at the now defenseless robber.

"This is for my dad," The wolf fires a shot in the man's arm. Blood splattering everywhere. "This is for my mom," Hamato yells firing the gun into the man's other arm. "And this is for you," Hamato yells blowing the man's brains out.

Hamato collapses grabbing his mother and father. Hugging them tightly. Tears roll down his face as he lifts up the gun to his head and puts it in his snout. "And this is for me," The wolf, boy says clenching his muscles as he pulls the trigger.

Click. Goes the empty gun. The wolf throws it across the room and sobs, hugging his parents.

Moments later the door crashes in. Police swarming the area, all stop when they see Hamato. The lead officer removes his hat followed by the other police. He bends down on one knee and pats Hamato's back. "Everything is going to be alright. Everything is going to be alright," the officer says, holding onto the boy. "Everything will be alright!"

The Next Day

"Your honor," A Lady says, "I don't think it would be wise to put him in an orphanage. I talked to him earlier today and he is very traumatized, but very smart. Anthro's are not going to be safe in that orphanage. It is in the same ghetto where his parents where shot. It's not safe. I also think he is too traumatized to go through the process of an orphanage. He is 15..." The lady stops and the judge interrupts. "He is also an Anthro, and we all want to believe there are no bigots in the world, but there are and no one will adopt him in time. He has today and today only until he is moved back to the ghetto and put in the orphanage," That judge says.

"Please, your honor. Can we extend the time? Get some website ads going? Maybe find and Anthro Family or even a human one that will take him in. I'm begging you. If you sit and talk with this boy for twenty minutes you'll see he is a very bright child. I'd adopt him if I had a stable enough life to handle another mouth to feed. Please, if people talk with him they'll adopt. Don't make him go back to the ghetto. That will be the end of him," The lady says pleading with the judge.

"I don't have that kind of power. I can't change laws. The child must be adopted today or he will go back to the ghetto and to the orphanage," The judge replies.

"Sir, you have to try. I came across country for you. Come on, please. You are the only one I know of who sees the Anthro's as equals. You've got t..." the lady stops as her phone begins to ring. "Excuse me for a minute," she says answering her phone.

"Oh no. Not again," That lady says on the phone. "Oh Kate, I'm so sorry. How many is this. After Sam. Fifteen. Oh I'm so sorry. Don't take this the wrong way but do you think that maybe fifteen should give a message to you. I mean most people stop after one or two miscarriages. You have Sam. Well have you ever thought about adopti... I'm coming over to your house right now we have to discuss something," The lady says hanging up her phone, "I may have just solved our problem your honor."

Screeching tires stop at the driveway of Kate's house. The doorbell rings and Kate welcomes in her friend, Megan.

"Kate," Megan says. "I'm in the middle of dealing with this case where a boy lost his parents in a robbery. They're going to send him back to the ghetto if he doesn't get adopted today. You've said that the baby stages are your least favorite. This boy is going into the ninth grade. One below Sam. Sam has always said she wanted a little brother. And well. Please at least meet him."

"Umm," Kate says. "This is a little sudden. I don't know."

"Call your husband, Mark, and just ask what he thinks about it," Megan says.

"Well, I'm pretty sure I'm in this decision alone since Mark has always said he wanted a boy and hates the baby stages more than me. I'm not sure about it though. I mean adoption in one day. That seems a little crazy. I haven't even met...Whatever his name is," Kate says.

"Hamato, He is a really sweet and smart guy. He needs some help. If he doesn't get adopted today than there sending him back to the ghetto. The only thing that may or may not sway your decision is...He is an Anthro," Megan says.

Kate is silent.

"Please if you just meet him you'll fall in love. Your well off...well, you know what you're rich. You can take care of him. Please just meet him. He has no family, No friends, No one, to help him. If he goes back to that ghetto he is going to get killed. Just meet him. That is all I'm asking you to do," Megan says.

"Let me call my husband," Kate says walking in the other room and dialing her husband.

"Hi honey. I know this is crazy news but Megan just came over and she is dealing with a case where a child lost both of his parents in a robbery. If he doesn't get adopted today he is going back to the ghetto and being put in the orphanage there. The only thing is... He is an Anthro. You're OK with that. Ok, OK, I'm going to go and meet him right now. Fifteen. OK, I'll see you at five," Kate hangs up the phone and looks at Megan. "I told you he'd accept. *sign Let's go and meet Hamato."

The lady's hop into Kate's Lexus and drive back to the court room. As they run in Megan smiles at the judge and they run to the room where Hamato is.

Megan has Kate walk in alone to meet Hamato and Kate opens the door. "Hi Hamato. My name is Kate," she says. "What are you reading," she asks.

Hamato lifts up the book revealing a video game strategy guide, "It's the only thing that didn't put me to sleep when I read the title," Hamato says.

Kate walks over to him and scratches his head behind his ears. "Would you like to come and live with me," She asks.

Hamato looks up at her and says, "Wait, there not sending me back to the ghetto?"

"Not if you'd like to come home with me," Kate says.

A tear rolls down Hamato's Head. "Thank you," is whispered out as he licks her face and gives her a big hug. "Thank you," He says.

After a few hours of paper work Hamato drives home with Kate. "I saw you reading a book on video games. Do you like them?" Kate asks.

Hamato shakes his head. "Not really, I haven't played many of them so I'm not sure. The one I was reading about seem interesting," He says.

As they arrive home Kate takes Hamato through her enormous mansion and upstairs, down a hall, and into a room. "This'll be your room," Kate says. "Where are your cloths by the way," Kate asks.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you," Hamato says remorsefully. "Anthro's don't really wear cloths. We have fur so we don't get cold. But if it is required I will wear them," He says.

Kate replies, "Oh no I was just curious. You may have to wear them to school. I'm not sure how the district will react. You're actually the first Anthro I've seen in my life so I didn't really know. Feel free to explore the house. I'm going to go make some lunch. Would you like a ham sandwich?"

"Yes please," Hamato says licking her.

"Ok, that'll be ready in a little bit. My daughter, Sam, Will be home in about an hour and a half. So you two can play together when she gets here," Kate replies.

After exploring not even a fraction of the enormous house Hamato begins to smell something. Turkey. Hamato runs downstairs and says, "Oh I thought you were making sandwiches."

"I am. Yours is right over there. This is for dinner tonight. Do you like turkey?"

"Yes, Please. I would love some," Hamato replies.

"Oh do you mean now?" Kate asks. "It's not even cooked. Can your...well kind eat raw meat?"

"Yes," Hamato Replies. "Also you can just call me and my kind Anthro's when you have questions. I'm going to ask questions about humans and I don't think calling you a human would offend you, Does it."

Kate takes a knife and cuts off a chunk of meat from the turkey and tosses it to Hamato. Which He Wolfs down.

"Ok," Kate says. "Do you mind if once I get the turkey in we sit down and discuss things. I'm interested to learn more about Anthro's."

Hamato nods his head as Kate puts the turkey into the oven and they sit down.

"First off," Kate begins. "Do Anthro's shed like dogs?"

"Yes but not if I go to the groomers... well not as much," Hamato Answers. "Do humans wear cloths as fashion, like some Anthro's wear collars? Or is it because it gets too cold for them."

"We wear cloths because of the cold. But also because it is not socially acceptable to show ones privates. Your privates have fur over them... for the most part, they aren't visible. Though this school district is tough and will probably make you wear at least shorts to cover your... privates," Kate answers. "Are there anything we may need to change to help you here. Like where do you go to the bathroom? In the toilet or in the yard?"

"Anthro's aren't like normal animals where we mark our territory. But I have always had trouble using a human toilet. I usually go in the woods or just grass. In my old house we have a special thing called an Anthro Toilet. Since we have to get on all fours and lift our leg we have a special almost human urinal thing on the floor going up the wall," Hamato Answers.

"I'll talk to my husband, Mark, We will probably be able to get one installed and find a grooming place near here," Kate replies.

"Do you or your family mind if I lick them. It is sort of a thing built in to me to show affection. I sort of just do it naturally. But if it bothers you I can try to stop," Hamato Asks.

"No, my entire family loves dogs... Oh I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..."

"Well I'm a wolf but a dog works too. I don't care if you ask things about animals in your questions I'm technically an animal," Hamato Replies.

"Ok, so my entire family loves dogs. So licking is something we really like," Kate explains. "What so you do that is like a dog. Like, Do you chase your tail, or bark, or run, or like to play fetch."

"To act cute sometimes I chase my tail, I can bark but don't really do it, Yes and run and love fetch," Hamato says wagging his tail, "There is something that I have trouble doing and that is bathing. It's hard to cover my fur in shampoo. My mom use to help me when I wouldn't go to the groomers. Also can I go outside really quick...? I have to... go," Hamato says.

Kate getting up and opening the back door replies, "Sure I can bath you. As long as you don't shake off on me."

Hamato runs out of the house on all fours. Running to the woods near the house before lifting his leg.

Kate goes over to check the turkey as Hamato comes back in. "Can I wash my paws, I didn't realize that was a hill," He says walking over to the sink. Kate turns it on and then asks, "Do you always run on all fours or was it just because you really had to go?"

"No, I can run fastest on all fours so when I play fetch or just run around I usually go on all fours. But I do sometimes run like a human if it is really crowded," Hamato replies.

As they are talking they here the door unlock and Sam walks in. "Hide, I don't want her to freak out like there is some person in the house," Kate says.

Hamato ducks down as Kate walks over and talks with Sam. Hamato sits back smiling. "I think I'm going to be happy here," He says to himself as he hears a girl yell "REALLY," Excitedly.
