#1 of TR-RU Redemption

The EXTREMELY belated return of The Red-Ringed Umbreon. This takes place a considerable amount of time after any of my other such posts, so be careful, there might be continuity issues to my previous stories. Be warry, there might be blood, violence, and maybe a part that is rated Extreme later on.

A slight rustle of rusting leaves in the trees. Winter was coming, and I wasn't sure if I would be able to find someplace safe before she came. Dragging a small bundle of leaves and fur behind me wasn't helping my chances...

After three months, I was tired. Really tired. Looking over to a inlet cave, I sighed, hoping that the coming storm would pass over me. I drag my sorry rump into the cave, and collapsed. I couldn't go on with moving. But something didn't seem right.

A disgruntled noise comes from behind me. My eyes opened in a flash, and staring me in the face was a white egg with a silver trim on it. My ringed body moved quickly, narrowly avoiding a massive clawed paw coming down my head. I looked up at the Absol that probably owned this cave.

"WAIT WAIT WA-" I duck as he slashed into the rock that used to be behind me, "Let me just-"

The Absol had me pinned against the wall, my legs dangling in mid air. In what was my dying moments, I looked to the small bundle and through the fur I saw a Small red egg under it.

The Absol follows my gaze, and then turns to me, "Why are you here, Umbreon!"

"T-The storm...I needed to-" I felt him squeeze on me, trying to get more out of me, "Please....don't..."

The Absol seemed to think about it for a moment, and then let go, letting me land against the hard ground, "Don't come near my egg, you hear me?" I nod, "Good."

He moves to the centre of the cave, and draws a line through the middle, "You stay over there."

I nod, and pull the bundle over to me in the corner, trying my best to keep it warm. I feel the slow, unhealthy beat of the child within. I look over to the Absol, looking after his charge, "What's your name?"

He looks up, and glares at me, "Nade." He had a long pause, "Now tell me yours."

I look at him, my red rings shining against the cave wall, "Mavros..."
