A change of Preference
Before I start the story it should be noted that this is intended to be a side plot to a main series that I'm currently writing called the Anthy Chronicles. I will not be posting the actually series on yiffstar simply because it is mostly a non-yiff series with the exception of the side plots such as this one. If anyone would like the first volume of the series (I write it in short volumes) so that they could better understand how the characters got where they are, where they were before this, and their relationships to one another etc. My e-mail is [email protected] . Gryphon woke up with a start from the hellish reality of his dreams. His heart pounded in his chest sending a shockwave through his body every half second. Has swung his legs over the edge of the bed and sat there trying to sort out his thoughts. "I don't know how much more of these dreams I can take." He left his small room and continued into the corridor and down onto the bridge. Jet was sitting at the main controls staring out the windshield into space. "Hey, didn't expect you to be up at this time." Jet said as Gryphon took a seat next to Jet in another one of the captain style chairs. "Me neither, I couldn't sleep." Gryphon lied. "It's so beautiful, the stars. Don't you think so?" Jet asked turning his head to look into Gryphons crisp blue eyes. "Yeah, I guess it is." Gryphon replied.
"You know Gryphon, there are so many beautiful things in the universe, and yet it seems that everyone is out to destroy them." Jet said reclining back on the chair gazing up at the ceiling, a thoughtful look on his face. "Yeah I suppose your right. You usually are anyways." Gryphon said with a laugh. They both laughed at that and sat there for a while just laughing at the silliness of the whole thing. " I guess this means I'd better get ugly soon or else someone will try and eliminate me, according to your theory that is." Gryphon said after they had finally recovered from their laughing fit. "No, don't do that. That wouldn't be any good would it? I can see the chances of you getting a job going down right now." Jet said as he stood up and pretended to re-arrange his face. "Yeah I'd like to get a job here." He continued speaking almost exactly like Gryphon does. "No, I'm sorry you're just far to ugly for us to let you work here." Jet said again, changing his voice to impersonate a callous manager of some store. They laughed again and soon Gryphon forgot all about the dream that had been bothering him. Lost in their giddy happiness the two of them continued to joke around, making jokes and laughing at them.
Eventually Gryphon and Jet found themselves on the floor of the bridge lying side-by-side looking through the ceiling window into space again. A few minutes later the two of them stood up. "I suppose we should get back to bed huh?" Gryphon said facing jet once again. "Yeah I guess." Jet replied looking down at the floor. Gryphon thought this was a little odd but didn't respond. "Gryphon..." Gryphon looked at Jet who was still avoiding having to look directly into Gryphons eyes. "Yeah what is it?" Gryphon asked standing with his hands in his pockets to keep them warm. "I...I..." Jet began but his voice trailed off. Instead he took a step towards Gryphon. Finally Jet looked into Gryphon's eyes and Gryphon recognized a look of longing. Jet opened his mouth to speak and closed it again. "What?" Gryphon asked being careful not to sound menacing. Jet looked at Gryphon again and in one movement brought his lips to Gryphons and kissed him. Gryphon's mind stalled. He could feel the soft, silky fur of Jet's muzzle pressing gently against his own, caressing his mouth. Jet pulled away and looked sheepishly at the ground. "I really like you." Jet said finally. Gryphon didn't, couldn't respond. Jet moved in for another kiss and Gryphon managed to force his hands out of his pockets and place them gently on Jet's sides, applying slight resistive pressure. "I don't think..." Gryphon started but all of his words melted away as the feelings began to wash over him, a wave of pleasure and sensuality cascading over him like a curtain.
