The night continues, both avians dress in their costume walk into the neighborhood collecting candy from neighbors. However, not many houses were available to them, probably to celebrate halloween or plain not giving kids candy.

"Alright, last house and then we get to go and that's Tatsus's house."He said as he pointed to a castle.

It wasn't like any houses they encountered. This castle is small, just like every house in the neighborhood. Except that the moat is full of lava, which makes a ring around the castle. The draw bridge is down and the gates are open, meaning that everyone can come in at their own risk. What lies on the entrance is a bucket full of candy. Apollo and Zylen looks at each other and decided to walk towards the container that has the candy next to what it seems to be a warning sign. Apollo reads the warning sign while Zylen grab at whatever candy it's left on the container.

'There a lot of candy here love! I wonder why people didn't grab any. "he said as he tries to find some of his favorite candy. "I think I know why..." Said Apollo while reading the sign.

"Tatsu! Where are you! "Apollo yelled while Zylen hold on Apollo's life, almost like his life is going to be taken away. Apollo continue to call the dragon's name...but nothing...

"I wonder where could he be. "Zyeln looks at apollo then turn his head and whimpered, his body stopped moving. Zylen could see a pair of red eyes moving to their direction. Apollo continue to look at the front then get poked by his boyfriend. "Were not leaving still..."He looks at Zylen just to look at the creature that is stalking them both. With that, Apollo moved in front of his boyfriend." Wh...whoever you are! Don't...come near us! We know the owner of the house!"He said while Zylen hide behind his boyfriend.

The avians continue to run for their life, turning corners, checking wooden doors only to find out that they are locked. They find the last door and opens it, locks it then rest their back against it. He looks at Zylen," Are you okay love? "Zylen noded then both of them look what is ahead only to whimper. It seems that both avians has stumble into the demon's bed room. There is a large bed enough for the dragon, but what caught their eyes is the number of human bones next to it." J...Janice was right! Apollo wakes up, sweat run over his head. "Was it a dream?" He question himself before looking down at his hand. He noticed his sharp talons then his feathers on his arm. He pull the bed sheet away from his body to realized that he was back to his original form." Oh thanks god that it was a dream. " He looks to his left and see his mate sleeping soundly. That brought a huge smile to him and glad that it was all a dream.

"No it wasn't Apollo"

Apollo jumped then turn his head towards the purple phoenix, whom was sitting next to him." J...James? What do you mean it wasn't a dream?" Apollo said as he raises the sheets to cover his body. " me and my sister went over to Tetsu's house and combined our powers to bound the dragon in his own room. "he explains." with our combined power, we managed to secure him to the wall. He told us that he ate the two of you and how he was proud of it. Of course, I had to open his mouth and went in there to get the two of you out of there. And when I pull you two out of the dragon's mouth, you and my pet were out cold. And to answer the question on how did you get your body back. Well, I cooked a potion to turn you back to normal. "He said with a smile as he rest his hand on Apollos hand." And now you know why I don't leave my house for Halloween. And is to control Tatsu, otherwise, he would case a lot of chaos. Of course, I had to drag my sister out of the party "Mutter to himself, knowing that a certain Jackal would have had his head another day" But anyways, I hope you two had a wonderful Halloween. James got up from the bed and help his fellow avian friend by moving the bed sheet on top of him." Good night Apollo "He give him a kiss to his forehead, making Apollo giggle." night James. "And with that, James closes the door. Apollo closes his eyes and remember what the phoenix said. One thing for sure, he is glad to be alive with the bird that he loves.
