The final part - just a short tidy up for the story.

Two weeks later, Tyler and Dan watched on as Mike, resplendent in his blue singlet, convincingly trounced another opponent. The tiger smiled as Dan watched in awe as his friend held down a hugely built fox with rippling muscles. The referee counted to three and the crowd erupted. Dan and Mike caught sight of each other and they both smiled broadly.

The bear stood and clapped his applause to his wolf friend and was joined by Tyler. They wore matching hoodies, but where the tiger wore a nice pair of jeans, Dan had opted for a pair of familiar and comforting sweatpants. From beneath the folds of the lowered hood was a maroon collar and in the large pocket of the tiger's hooded top was the folded leash, barely visible.

Mike looked over Tyler and nodded. Tyler smiled back and winked.

Maybe the house had room for one more?
