Hello everyone! Been quite a while. Hope you're all having a happy new year so far!

Funny how things never quite seem to go the way we want, thanks to accidents, work, or even games or just plain old procrastination...this story was over way after the second part of my pokemon series, but it's the one I will have to release first. The other one might take a few more months, I'm sorry for people wanting to see the sequel but don't worry it will eventually see the light of day. The problem is the rest of it as I will need to write the third part pretty much from scratch...and there's still the final part, though as of now, I'm not in a Pokémon mood. *sighs* And right now I'm not even working in that, but in something else which I shall post soon. It's not a story, but it's certainly relevant to people that like anime and furry. Wait to see~

Now, about this story: as the title shows, it's based on the PC game Tail Tale, I made it to offer as a gift to my friend Inubashiri. Wait, you never heard of that game? Let me copy some stuff from wiki...

"Tail Tale (a.k.a. Yaminabe Aries: Tale Tail, ??Aries) is a PC visual novel video game released in Japan only, in 2000, by a developer called Circus. A fan translation has been done by a member of WildCritters. It is sorted, by the developer, as Volume 2 of "Yaminabe Aries ~Ashita he no Chosenjyou~" ("Dark Pan Aries ~Challenge Literature Towards Tomorrow~"), which is a collection of unrelated visual novel stories. Classified as an adventure game, Tail Tale is based on Kemono Hentai, and claimed to be the first of its own kind. It has an English fan-translation by members of Wild critters."

As far as I know, the first time non-Japanese viewers saw it was when someone posted screenshots from the game in the forum of agnph. Everyone was quite shocked that, not only a visual novel with furry hentai existed but it looked good! After quite some time it got a fan translation by the folks of wildcritters, thanks for the hard work guys! As the wiki entry says, the game is a visual novel, so it's not for everyone; I would recommend if for anyone that likes a good story and straight furry hentai though, as that is all the game offers. Yeah, there are some attractive male characters but it's still a straight furry hentai game, as it's focused on the relationship of Rick and Ran after all. That's why, if you like this story, remember the game itself it's nothing like that, not a single gay action whatsoever!

If you haven't played the game yet, don't worry, you can still enjoy this story. It's not supposed to be canon or anything, more a "what if" scenario. I mean, there's a lot of stuff I had to make up either because the game never tells us or because it was necessary to the story. For example, Tiegel and Mag; both cats show up in the game but only in one scene and you barely see much of them to know anything about either of them. So, in the story you will see and come to know those two cats...quite well, if you know what I mean =P Still, I will briefly talk about each character as he or she appears in the game. I will keep spoilers at minimum, if any:

The protagonist: He is a white cat who takes care of Napp, his sick younger brother without complaint, both felines living in the village of Bastok. Their father was a scholar that discovered the existence of another world, below the clouds. Eventually, he completed a plane and flew it to that other world, making the church (called Holy Order) spread the lie that he was caught and executed, as even talking about other world was a heresy. Our feline hero admires his father deeply and just like him wises to fly though the sky, to reach that foreign world. In his father's secret study he found an unfinished airplane, together with the blueprints. Slowly, he's working to complete it, as he must also take care of his sick brother. Things were going smoothly, until he met Ran...

Napp: http://postimg.org/image/tltdvi1mh/61985b2c/ Unlike his big brother, Napp has black fur and was born with a very weak heart, forcing him to spend most of his life in bed. He and his brother have been together ever since their father's disappearance and their mother's death, making Napp aware and worried about Rick's dream of following their father to the other world.

Zail: http://postimg.org/image/7i6t1ee2f/ Born into a wealthy family, he didn't mind hanging out with poor kids like Rick. A few years older than Rick, he moved to Midel where he could attend the academy and then went for the entrance exam of the Holy Order, becoming one of their officers. And...that's all the official information we have of Zail, game doesn't give us anymore. So everything else you see of him in this story was made up or, you can say it's "my" Zail!

Tiegel and Mag: http://postimg.org/image/4ivfswucb/ Both cats work in the coal mine, to the west of the town of Midel. They are both Rick's friends and...uh that's it really. They only showed up in one scene and we never heard from them again. So I really had to made up a lot of stuff for them...

"Napp...what are you hiding from me?" Rick silently wondered having finally found it, so this is the place Napp was going sneaking off to all month. He still couldn't believe Napp was hiding something like this from him!

It had all started some months ago... Rick had realized that Napp's health had begun to improve, little by little each day without any apparent reason. He wasn't taking any new medicine, so Rick had no idea how that was possible. It was good of course, to see his brother finally out of that bed for a change, even going one day to hang out with his friends outside, the first time that such a thing had ever happened! Still, Rick couldn't help but wonder what was going on, why was Napp was getting better so quickly and so suddenly? Was he taking some kind of dangerous medicine and didn't want him to find out?

When he had asked his brother about it, he had refused to give him a straight answer and Rick knew his brother long enough to know when he was lying or avoiding something. It was always like that, he knew Napp didn't want him to worry, ever since they were children Rick was always looking out for him because of his illness, which affected his heart. There was no cure and now his brother was getting better? No, something was going on here. What worried him was that Napp wasn't explaining to him how he was getting better and so quickly, from illness that had been with him since childhood.

Then, one day, Rick realized Napp was sneaking away from home when he and Ran were supposed to be asleep. Napp didn't know they were awake, but doing something... else. Sometimes it was difficult to have any private time with Ran with his brother around and they chose midnight for it. It was with a big surprise, after finishing their "catnip", when Ran was already sleeping, Rick heard a sound and, looking thru a crack in the door, he saw Napp sneaking back inside and slipping up to his room. Rick was to shocked to even think what to do about it before Napp's door closed.

"Napp... his Napp, the one who couldn't even go to the market here in Bastok village without possible suffering pain due to his illness, going somewhere at this time of night without even telling me? That can't be!" he remembered he thought something like that, at the time. It wasn't often that he did anything besides sleep with Ran, so in the next days, he started to pay attention to his brother's strange new habit. He discovered some days he went out just after when they were supposed to be asleep and return a few hours later. And he didn't feel any pain or tiredness at all as far as he could tell, he was completely fine in the next day and on the next days after he spend hours god knows where.

Rick wasn't sure he should confront his brother directly about it; maybe he had a good reason for hiding his supposed cure or what he was doing during night. Didn't he himself hide his relationship with Ran for quite some time before bringing her home? He couldn't help but be worried about what was going on. So, on one of such night, he went out saying he would hang on with some guys and return the next day, but actually was hiding nearby waiting Napp to come out and follow him to his secret destination, he didn't have to wait long.

Rick saw his brother leaving their home, still wearing his typical blue pajamas. Did he really think that just because it was so late no one would catch him wearing that? His brother was supposed to be the smart one but that was just silly... maybe he got too tired after returning and goes to sleep immediately, that's why he already puts his pajamas on before leaving? "C'mon Napp, mom didn't raise you to be that lazy..." the white cat thought as he followed the black cat, which wasn't hard: he was more worried about getting to his destination as quickly as possible instead of worrying if anyone could see him.

And that's how he discovered where his brother was going: it was none other then Tiegel's house! Why...?

Tiegel was one of his closest friends from the village, a brown cat with yellow eyes who worked in the mines, with another friend Mag, a cat with gray fur with blue eyes, it was very tiring manual labor. Thing was, Tiegel is from a rich family and you could see it from his home, the biggest in the village, even more so than the elder's. While he came here to learn his independence, he still had money being sent to him by his family (apparently one which had big influence inside the capital and even in the holy order) and enjoyed his family's influence even here, as many girls liked rich, powerful guys... he was a nice guy though just like Mag, never letting his (or should I say his family's) position go to his head.

What could Napp want with him at this time of night though? And with such frequency? There's no mistake, it was definitely Tiegel's house that Napp had gone into. While Rick was trying to figure out what that could mean or if he should try spying inside somehow, Napp's words could be heard coming from inside. " W-wait Tiegel-kun! D-don't do that...!" his voiced looked frightened by something, which worried his brother.

"It's alright, it will be over soon, don't worry Napp-chan!" yeah, that was Tiegel's voice, but what he was trying to do with his brother... and since when he was calling him "chan" showing such intimacy with him?!

"Just make sure you don't scare him off Tiegel, I want some of him too!" t-that was Mag's voice! He was there too? Doing... what?

"Tsk, Fine, fine." Tiegel answered, from his voice Rick thinks he was slightly bored by Mag's remark. "So... prepare yourself Napp-chan... hehehe..." he said in a way Rick's mind really couldn't describe as anything else as he was meaning to do something very wrong and that he, as his brother, surely wouldn't approve!

"No... No! P-please stop it!" Napp's voice begging end up sending me up the edge.

"I cant believe those guys wanted to do something bad with my brother just like that... those bastards, and I thought we were my friends! I will NEVER allow anything bad to happen to Napp as long as I live, he already suffered long enough because of his accursed illness!" Rick was furious, he wasn't thinking at all when he barged into Tiegel's home kicking violently at the door, yelling, "GET AWAY FROM MY BROTHER YOU TWO SONS OF BIT...!" before realizing what he was looking at...

As Rick already knew, they sat in the living room, which was bigger than his entire house. Tiegel, Napp and Mag were sitting in a big purple sofa, the three with very surprised looking faces and, looking at the giant TV screen that Tiegel had, Rick understood what they were talking about. They were playing "King of Furry -Tail Tale edition" one of Tiegel's videogames. Napp and Tiegel had controllers in their hand and Napp's character, which looked like a famous dream traveler that had a series of games, were getting hit by a combo of Tiegrel's character, a white tiger, called keganto or something like that.

Rick wasn't a much fun at games as he was always too busy working or doing something else to have time to come and play them with his friends. So they were talking about the game, but why in a way that give interpretation for such a bad double meaning! Tiegrel needed to be the only guy in the village with such a troublesome thing in his home, to his amusement and now, to Rick's disgrace.

"R...Rick...?" Tiegel and Mag looked at that familiar white cat just staring at them from the door, who had so brusquely interrupted their fun.

"Brother? W-why...?" Napp was showing he was quite nervous, way more than TIegel and Mag, like he had something to hide that the other two didn't.

Rick closed the door and walked to them, trying to look casual and think of a quick excuse for his intrusion. Man, that was going to be a hard one...

"Hi guys! I was passing by and heard Napp's scream, I thought... uh..." he stopped realizing he failed before even started when he looked at their accusing eyes, it was obvious he wasn't just passing by random chance or anything like that. It was weird for Rick, the last time something like that happened with him was when he was mating with Ran in his room about one month ago when Napp entered, he forgot to lock the door. His brother had just looked at the two very embarrassed to be caught like that and slammed the door. Some days had to pass before Rick or Ran could look at each other again, before Napp started talking to them like nothing ever happened. Thinking now, it was soon after that when Napp started to going somewhere late at night and to be somehow cured of his disease maybe those things were connected? Now Rick had to worry with something else though.

"To be here like that... c-could it be... you followed me big brother?!" Napp asked adjusting his glasses. As usual, he saw right thought Rick but then again, he always was the smartest of the family and you didn't even need to be that smart to see that was exactly the case here.

"Err yeah, I did." To admit it was the most logic thing to do in Rick's head, he saw that Napp looked now quite shocked, though his two friend didn't see to mind. Actually, Tiegel got up of the sofa and turned the videogame off, before saying: "Well I guess that's the end of gaming today. With Rick-kun here we could try something more interesting..."

"Tiegel? You mean...?" Mag asked not sure if he understood right what his shirtless friend was talking about.

"With Rick?! NO WAY! That... t-that is so...!" Napp looked very embarrassed by Tiegel's comment, which worried Rick; what they were talking about?

"Hey, w-"

"So Rick." Tiegel made sure to speak louder to interrupt the white cat's question," Why did you do it?"

"Why I did... do what?"

"Why you follow Napp here?" Tiegel wanted Rick to focus on that and not what he just said, timing was everything after all.

"Uh..." since it had come to this, Rick decided to finally face his brother and see if he discovered the truth. Tiegel and Mag seems to have something to do with it as well or Napp wouldn't be here, so he thought he could talk about it in front of them without a problem. He just hoped whatever they would say, wasn't something bad. He took notice the way Napp's fluffy tail was moving, that only happened when his younger brother was very worried with something, which was quite rare. That settled it: if Napp was involved in something strange, he had to know.

"It's because I'm worried! You really thought I wouldn't notice Napp? You are getting so much better these days, like you weren't that sick to begin with, but I know it's not that easy! Mom and dad searched, but there is no possible cure, so, how can that be?" He looked for Napp's eyes, he was looking to him sadly, but he knew he would listen to the end just like the other two present so Rick continued, "Besides, I noticed how you started to disappear at night... there's no way I would pretend that was normal! Your sudden cure, your nightly trips... Napp if you're doing something wrong or that you shouldn't do, I need to know. I'm your brother, I get worried... and we both know it's supposed to be the other way around, you're always saying I'm the reckless one remember?" Rick chuckled without even realizing remember the exact way his younger brother always scolded him about it, be it about things like his work with the plane or, of course, with Ran's situation, when they first met.

"Big brother..." Napp was moved, it was the first time he actually thought what Rick's opinion of what he was doing would be. He was too scared to tell him anything, he was afraid Rick wouldn't like it and actually find it gross, but if it was to worry his brother, maybe he needed to know: he preferred to have Rick hating him than worrying him with anything, he already did it all his life, since he had to take care of him in the absence of their parents and his disease didn't make things any easier. The problem was that it didn't involve only him, but Tiegel and Mag as well, so he looked at them for guidance, to know if they should tell everything to Rick.

"Well, you certainly do have a valid reason, I guess we will just have to tell you. Just don't tell anyone else what you hear here, as some of it involves the Holy Order." Tiegel said, putting his hand on Napp's shoulder, as he was saying "It's ok, we can tell him". Mag just nodded to him, they didn't see any problem with telling me the truth, whatever it was.

"What? The Holy Order...?" now that was a surprise, what did his brother and those two have to do with the Holy Order?

"All to its rightful time Rick." Tiegel sighed, he knew it might be a hard tale for Rick, but he asked for it, so there was no turning back," Well, one night me and Mag found Napp unconscious on the ground, near here."

"Unconscious?!"

"Yes. It was quite late at night, you can imagine our surprise." Mag continued the tale," Since Tiegel's home was the closest, we bought him here. Luckily he woke soon after, we gave him food and water and waited for him to calm down, his sickness didn't attacked again after he woke and he talked to us what happened. Don't blame him, he was... uh surprised and very upset, he ended up telling us about her."

"Her?" Rick got a little scared, he couldn't be talking about-

"Yes, about Ran. Heh, about how you never told us about it... you little tiger, living with a free pussycat like that all to yourself!" Tiegel grinned but Mag still looked serious.

He couldn't believe it, Napp told them about Ran...he wasn't looking at me now, pretending something on the floor was really interesting and deserved the gaze of his eyes.

"Tiegel this is serious, try to think how Rick feels now, hearing you talk like that, it's not like Napp couldn't explain his problem without telling us about her."

"Ah you're right... I'm sorry Rick, guess I can tease you later." His shorter friend stopped grinning, before continuing, "Well, he told us how he found you two... you know~~" he grinned again quickly, appreciating Rick's sudden blush as he understood his words before proceeding,

"After he closed the door he was going to his bedroom when he thought "Rick has Ran but I don't have anybody. And I never will, because of my stupid heart! I never even got to enjoy the three moon night, be it here or in Midel because of my weak heart, no girl would ever be interested in me! My brother also always have to watch me because of it... I... I..." before going out without you realizing it. He didn't know what he wanted to do, he just ran and ran, almost crying before fainting near here where we found him."

"..." it was very sad what Rick just heard, he didn't say anything because he knew that wasn't the end of that tale and, for respect, he didn't say or look to Napp either. So he didn't go to his room on that night, he never realized how bad that had affected him. There's no way he could be angry with him because of that, it was actually his fault he even realized his younger brother had left home like that. Thank god Tiegel and Mag had been there, Napp probably wouldn't have survived outside like that.

"So... well... it was only a hell why not kind of thing but..." Tiegel seem to be looking for the right words, maybe that he was getting to the point of the story? "You know about my family and its connections with the order right?" he continued looking at Rick's nodding, "Well, the Holy Order have many amazing technologies and great guys who study it, many of which aren't available to the public yet. Me and Mag saw how that situation really sank into your brother, I couldn't just sit back and do nothing, he was the brother of a dear friend after all. I remembered there was something in the Order, one of those technologies that could help him, though the chances were slim. If it worked, it might even cure him, or at least improve his health a little, though we didn't know if that was temporary or not."

"After making sure your brother was ok, I told him to come back tomorrow here when he could. I talked to Mag about it and he went to Midel explaining the situation to my... personal connection in the Order, so to speak, who lent him the cure. It's some pills made of a rare herb which is said to be extinct. Your brother came back with Mag later that day."

"Yeah." Mag assumed the narrator's role now, Napp still silent probably waiting for Rick's reaction of the ending," Your brother told me the time I could show up to help him get to Tiegel's home, which was quite late at night. I didn't mind, I wanted to help him too... anyway, with me he had no problem getting there and he took the pills. It was quite amazing you know, he could feel better very fast, though we're still not sure if that's going to be permanent... you see, every night he come here and took one pill, and as you said yourself, he's getting better, every day! With a few more he might be even cured of his condition." He smiled, after all that was good news to Rick, the one who had to watch over his brother all the time.

Rick was indeed amazed, that sure explained Napp's getting better like that. So it was thanks to the Holly order and it's medicine... but, was that all? Why would Napp need to keep it a secret and go to take them at such a late hour, as if to make sure nobody else would know?

"I'm sure you're thinking something like there's more to it, right?" Tiegel realized, no wonder he was the most cunning guy besides Napp that Rick knew. "Well-"

"Wait Tiegel! That... that part I-I'm not sure if big brother..." Napp suddenly interrupted, he looked somewhat embarrassed with what Tiegel was about to say, making Rick curious.

"Don't worry, he will understand, I'm sure of it!" Tiegel seems confident in his words, Rick wondered if what they were talking about of.

"You know Rick-kun..." Mag started this time, maybe he felt it was better if he started on this one," You're a guy, so you understand. You know when you are simply... horny and want to jerk off without thinking anything? Napp was feeling like that for the first time, something his weak heart never allowed him to."

"Eh...?"

"Yeah." Tiegel nodded, Napp was slightly blushing with such a subject, but he allowed it as it was something he would feel to embarrassed to talk to his brother himself.

"He started to jerk off at home when you and that cute girl weren't around." Tiegel continued explaining, grinning again in the mention of Ran. "However, as you know, that isn't even close to having actual sex with someone. And, just like the rest of us, Napp's body was affected when the three moons are visible, on that heat night you know. Normally he wasn't that affected as he was always home and too weak to even think of that, but now he was getting better, his body demanded for more attention, I'm sure you understand how it is."

"Sometimes the three moons are visible for an entire week, or just for three days in a few months, like what happened back then. On the third day, Napp was too horny to be able to continue to take care of himself, he knew it wasn't enough. He was also afraid you would catch him in the act and die of shame, though you were too busy with Ran. Anyway, he come here again, in the hope he could be presented to a cute girl, for the first time and... well you know what!"

"I think I understand but... what about it?" Rick was a little too sad to know he never really thought of Napp during such times, how he never asked himself how Napp must be feeling knowing the entire village was engaging in sexual activities, even his older brother, while he as confined in home because of his condition? He never heard him complaining, actually Napp usually teased his older brother about what cute girl he did on that night, but maybe that was his mask so Rick wouldn't see his sadness...

"Well... I will say it quickly and only once since it's quite embarrassing..." Tiegel scratched his face smiling weakly, so typical of him although he only did that when he was apologizing for something. "When he came I ended up letting the door open and me and Mag were... uh, you know! S-so, too horny to even care about doing it with another male, Napp-chan just took off his clothes and got in the bed with us and... things happened." He said, looking a bit scared of Rick's reaction.

"Wait..." Rick was making sure he just got that right. What had he just heard? "Wait... you two and Napp... WHAT?!" he jumped back, that couldn't be. His reaction scared everyone else, he seems to get it worse that they though, like Napp feared." You guys and Napp... no way! My brother doing that with another male... and and with two friends of mine?! DAMN YOU!" Rick jumped to attack Tiegrel, the one closest to him. The smaller cat didn't made any motion to avoid Rick's berserker attack, if that was what Rick wanted to do, maybe he deserved to take it. For Rick, it was his brother, who was too young and inexperienced, had his first time stolen from him by two profiteers, which pissed him off even more since it was his two friends... it was Napp that stopped it, putting himself between Rick and Tiegel.

"Stop it please Big brother! You don't need to be angry about anything!"

"Napp! They used you, you aren't someone who would do it with another guy like that, you were tricked since you were too horny and they used that!"

"NO!" Napp yelled, making Rick put his menacing paw down, his brother got that furious look that he rarely saw when he believed something was not right." I wanted to do all those things with them big brother! I wasn't tricked or anything, they helped me before, they were gentle and I could stop and go home anytime I wanted, actually they didn't want to to anything with me at first..." he looked sad, noticing Rick was only listening to him,"...until I convinced them I wanted it from them, I wanted to have my first time there, even if they were both males! I... I was so aroused and when I saw them, I knew I wanted that too! I was to ashamed to talk to you about that kind of thing, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry big brother. But please, don't get mad at them... this is all my faut!" he fall on his knees and started to sob, Rick never saw his brother like that and was moved.

"Napp... I understand, I'm not mad anymore, if you really wanted it." Rick helped his brother to stand up again, saying, "It's just... it's the first time I heard about something like that, I just wanted that you come to me as well. I would be sure to do something to help you, no matter how shameful that kind of subject was. My first time wasn't easy or something I planned either, it kind of just happened like with you... I'm sorry, it's me who should apologize for never asking you about that kind of stuff, I should have wondered, even if it was embarrassing to you! It's me that was wrong, not you, that's why you had to talk about It with somebody else...! I'm sorry Napp. Really...".

"It's ok big brother, I just wanted you to understand. As long as you aren't mad with anyone or feeling bad for it." Napp smiled, really happy some things were finally being cleared between his only living family member.

"Look Rick you can be upset with us if you want" Tiegel and Mag moved from behind Napp's back to face-to-face Rick "but know this: we never did anything your brother didn't want us to ok?" Tiegel asked, just to be sure the white cat was ok with that, or at least, didn't felt like killing him and Mag on the spot anymore.

"Well..." Rick crossed his arms pondering about it," I'm not mad with Napp and certainly, while I don't approve what you guys did, I'm not mad with you two either, as he didn't refuse or anything. N-not like I have a problem with guy into guy action but-"

"Oh we know you really don't have anything against that..." Mag grinned, making Tiegel chuckle and Rick's face got red.

"What do you mean?" Napp wanted to know, not only because of his natural curiosity, but because he had never heard of anything like that before.

"I-it's nothing Napp, they are just talking bullshit!" his big brother tried to assure him, but Napp knew that wasn't true at all, even more when the two guys laugh after Rick's words.

"Hehehe, C'mooooooooon Rick, it was only one time, but surely you didn't forget right? You were in our little club after all." Mag put his arm around Rick, resting it on his shoulder.

"Yeah!" Tiegel did the same thing with his arm, though on the other side of Rick," You really forget? On that night, when we-"

"STOP IT!" Rick broke loose from their arms, turning back to face his two friends having fun looking at him being so embarrassed about it. When he looked to Napp, they understood.

"Ahhhhh I see, you didn't want Napp to know?" Tiegel asked thinking it might be embarrassing for him after all, since Rick was Napp's older brother.

"That's not fair Rick. You already know about Napp, shouldn't he knew about one of your dirty secrets too? You already trusted him with that girl in your home, so why not with this as well?" Mag looked to Napp, who came forward to the trio.

"What are they talking about big brother?"

"Uh..." Rick hesitated, he didn't really wanted to say it, it was something from the past and to him, more embarrassing than it really was. To say it to his younger brother however, it was just too difficult!

"Heh, you guys really are brothers, not telling each other anything of sexual stuff. Fine, but since you know about Napp-chan's, I will tell him about yours!" Before he could get interrupted, Tiegel quickly spoke to Napp, "See Napp-chan, it's just that, one night, Rick also played with us, just like you do with us!".

"What...? He did!?" Napp startled with that information.
