~~~Chapter Two: Seeing Double Means Trouble~~~

A figure in the shadows stood there before a large, view screen. Watching into another room. Waiting for some thing to happen. Any thing. But nothing did. Still the figure watched with a vacant stare. A burnt metallic fist clenched as the being grew impatient. Deep breaths of anger were audible in room amongst the uncomfortable silence.

Suddenly a bleeping alarm sounded and motion took place within the view screen. A pod began opening up as cool, white steam filled the room. A crackle of laughter echoed in the observatory room by now as the mysterious figure slowly turned around to confront his superior with an unseen, ghoulish smile, "Prepare for the beginning of the freedom fighter's end. Doctor Robotnik."

Meanwhile back at Knothole. Sally grinned mischievously back at Tails on his bed. Her being on all fours with her rump exposed to him. She couldn't wait any longer and reached with her hands out stretched before guiding his muzzle to her slit. Not knowing exactly what she wanted him to do, Tails licked up and along the lips to her entrance. Licking shallowly between the folds shyly. That was until he found a little bump need the end that caused her to behave like he had never see her in such a way before. Licking at that one spot again and again out of curiosity.

It wasn't long before Sally grasped upon the back of Tails' head and shoved his muzzle into her tunnel. The wet muscle surrounding his mouth as his tongue flared about within. Lubricative juices coated his face as she slid her hips subtly along his muzzle. It was a pleasurable experience for the both of them until some thing didn't seem quite right. That was when Sally pushed Tails' head deeper into her sex. So far, that it threatened to take his head in.

Back at Robotropolis. A chameleon child stepped out of the white mist and into plain view of the two observing him, "I am ready to serve."

"You asked for a demonstration and here it is." Said the shadowy figure, "As our science lab in the sea was destroyed. I was lucky enough to escape with the basics I needed to complete this ground breaking project. May I introduce you to clone number five." He gestured a metallic hand towards the child, "Here is what seems to be an ordinary child we have taken from the freedom fighter camps. Though you couldn't be more wrong. This child is a super soldier with more flexibility than a rubber band and more strength than a savage predator. It is one hundred percent organic. The test subject is also more real than the actual child we took samples from. It captures their personality and every thing!"

"Get to the point." Grunted Doctor Robotnik with his arms crossed while sitting in his control chair.

"The point is. Thanks to the DNA sample to took from the King's daughter while she was in your custody. Our genetically enhanced Sally will be much more convincing and useful than the inferior mechanical one you developed."

"Watch your words carefully. I happen to quite like my mechanical creations. I can just as easily send you back to the robotizier to complete the job if you fail this time. I've wasted enough resources by creating that diversion to lure the real princess as you suggested."

Ignoring the threats as the hybrid, metallic-organic fox continued on, "Well. As a bonus, the clone is designed to be quite the effective hostage taker and assassin. Her altered physiology has the ability to render them unconscious in a stasis-like way for several hours before finally delivering them to Robotropolis." An evil smirk appeared upon him as he explained it to Robotnik, "How will they be captured and delivered is a surprise though! But the one she will be capturing is no surprise. The one she desires the most. Humour me by telling me who that is?"

Robotnik was sickened by the seemingly obvious reply, "That irritating hedgehog, Sonic of course." Not knowing how wrong he was. He then looked sinister with doubt as he inquired, "Why didn't we just track the clone to Knothole?"

The fox ordered the child into the room before he pulled out a throwing knife and flung it into the upper chest of the child, "It is merely a clone after all. Flaws are inedible" The child slowly melted into a puddle of goo before he finished off his explanation, "When they are penetrated by metallic objects. Their bio-structure becomes very unstable. They have no immunity system and degrade rapidly. That's why I had a no go on implanting a tracking device inside our dear Sally clone. How ever, It would be more help than hindrance if a clone decided to go rogue on us. But I'm sure they will be loyal to the end and with the capture of Sonic, the fall of Knothole will be soon to follow. After then you may dispose of the clones in any way you wish."

"You also advised that we didn't even have a team of SWAT bots to follow her. We could of had THEM give away the location of Knothole!"

"That would also give away that our little Sally project wasn't the real deal before she would even reach Knothole. Besides. Why would you want to encounter full force resistance of the freedom fighters when you can replace them with obedient slaves? One by one. Put a little faith in me this time doctor."

"For your sake. You better hope it doesn't come short of capturing Sonic."

An evil smirk reappeared upon the fox who favoured the shadows, "I won't let you down. Doctor."

The clone of Sally followed through with her genetic programming. Moaning as the muscles of her vaginal tunnel twitched around the head of Tails. Pulling him deeper into the caverns of her flesh. His head bulged underneath her skin as she began to work on his shoulders. Her hands grabbing at him eagerly as she wanted him inside of her here and now.

Tails started to panic once he could not pull his head out. The clone's belly slowly began to sag towards the bed as the shape of the two-tailed fox gradually formed inside of her. By the time she slid her tunnel over his shoulders and down his arms until she reached his elbows: he began his struggles all too late.

Once the face of Tails was pushed against the cervix, it opened subtly in response and allowed his muzzle to poke through. It wasn't long before the rest of his head followed through into the flexible womb. His entire body bucked back and forth as he was being pulled deeper into her. She eventually took an aggressive approach to speed up the process by grabbing his rear and forcing him into her. The shape inside of her suddenly slumped towards the bed as his upper body was taken into her.

Tails' rump soon disappeared into the depths of the gaping wide, vaginal orifice. Leaving his legs and tails sticking out. The bulging shape of Tails' form was outlined along the belly area of the clone. She carefully began to turn over so that she was on her back, relying on the contracting muscles to pull in his feet. The confused fox squirmed around inside with his face pressed against the wall that lined her abdomen. He was now stuck in a prison of flesh that restricted almost all of his movements in the cramped area. The only evidence of his existence were his tails left limp from her clenched vaginal lips and his body mass outlined in the bulge of her abdomen.

It was futile for Tails to escape as he was clenched by a powerful organ and muscles. The Sally clone would rub along her lower abdomen over each bump that was Tails trapped inside of her. The young fox squirming about within as she did that. He tried to yell out, his face barely outlined against her belly showed this. Yet all that came out were muffled cries as fluid slowly surrounded him within. It was a matter of minutes before his squirms and struggles would cease and his body would be stored motionless inside of her.

Just outside, Sonic and the real Sally had just arrived back in Knothole. It seemed so peaceful. Nothing out of the ordinary at all. Which was both a relief and a concern during this night. Sonic eventually headed over to Tails' hut with Sally before he suggested, "Sal, go see if Bunnie saw or heard any thing while we were gone. I'll check in on Tails."

Sally nodded as she complied, "Alright."

As Sally headed into the hut where Bunnie was, Sonic would also open the door to Tails' hut and walk in. Once reaching his bedroom, Sonic expected to find Tails but instead he found Sally. She had the sheets wrapped around her chest as she sat on the bed. He could barely see her as the lighting was dim from a candle, "Sal?! I thought I told you to go check on Bunnie?" He paused to look around before looking puzzled, "Where's Tails?"

"I sent Tails over to Bunnie's hut." Replied the Sally clone before she continued, "I thought you and I could have some alone time tonight."

"Sal. This isn't the time."

"Oh come on Sonic. It's not like the whole world will end in one night. I'm sure I can convince you if you come over here." She gestured with her index finger for Sonic to come over.

Sonic blinked a couple of times before he walked over to the Sally clone. A smile appeared on her face when they were face to face. Lost in her gaze until his glance dropped down for a moment as he was about to sit next to her on the bed before he shot up standing, "Whoa!" He exclaimed, "What happened to your stomach?! It looks like you ate a whole cart of chilli dogs and didn't tell me about it!"

"It's yours." Said the Sally clone still smiling, "I hope it doesn't repulse you now that I am pregnant. I can still pleasure you."

"Wait, What?! Pregnant? How?!"

Just as it wasn't already confusing enough for Sonic, the real Sally and Bunnie suddenly flung open the door and alerted Sonic, "Sonic! Where are you? We have a problem!" Yelled Sally as she searched for Sonic. It wasn't long before they both discovered Sonic standing next to the clone, "Sonic? What the!" She noticed the clone, "Stay away from her. She isn't me!"

"What is going on?!" Sonic not knowing where to look.

Bunnie went to explain, "I found her. The fake Sally. Wondering around the river near by. She claimed she hit her head and lost her way. But didn't think any thing of it until Sally walked into my door way just before."

"I don't know what she is. But I have an idea where she is from and that she is up to no good." Sally was really irritated as it was the second time her identity was faked.

"Then we have an even bigger problem." Sonic obviously sensing the clone to be the fake, "Leading back to my question of where Tails really is." He glared down at the clone as he turned to face her.

The clone being intimidated by being confronted by the three freedom fighters, stood up and dropped the sheets before throwing her demands around, "Stay where you are. Tails is quite safe for now." The tell tale sign of his tails trailing from her slit making it obvious where he was, "He won't be harmed unless you prevent me from leaving."

The clone held her belly as she started walking towards the hut's exit. Sonic shocked as they were letting her walk away, started running towards the clone to stop her any way. He was promptly stopped as Sally caught him by the arm and shook her head. Once the clone disappeared from their sights, he protested, "We can't let that faker take Tails away like that!"

Sally simply cleared up what they were doing, "We're not. But this way. We can follow where that thing is going. Find out what exactly is going on and get Tails back. With little risk hopefully."

By now the sun was rising and they had little time to follow the fleeing clone using the shadows for cover.

Azure and Sarah were still inside the shell of a SWAT bot by the time they were both rudely awakened. The clanking sound of togs and machinery was over powering as placing paws over ears did little to block out the noise. The two foxes squirmed around a bit uncomfortable before Sarah barely yelled over the loud sounds, "WHAT IS MAKING THAT NOISE?!"

"I DON'T KNOW!" Promptly replied Azure.

Sarah then crawled over him to squeeze out of the robot's shell and into blinding artificial lights. Once her eye sight adjusted to the harsh lighting, she peered around at her surroundings before she then shouted back at Tails, "IT'S A FACTORY!" Not just any factory either: it was the central SWAT bot repairs factory of Robotropolis!

"LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!"

Sarah nodded as she helped Azure out and regathered her clothing. The two ducking as a surveillance robot hovered pass before zipping to a distant part of the factory. Creeping around as loud, automated moving parts made their job of being undetected all the more easier. Yet being so unbearable to stand at the same time. It didn't take long for them to discover an air vent near the ground for a quick escape. They would squeeze in through the opening one by one before navigating their way into the next room.

The air vents were dark, dusty and compact. They offered little to move around in and jagged to the touch in some areas. Azure was the first to ask, "Any idea how we got here?"

"I guess they found the damaged robot and transported us here as we were sleeping." Sarah replied as the two foxes slowly made their way along the ceiling vent before she - whom was leading the way - crawled across a weak spot in the vent's structure. She froze as she heard a frightening creaking sound coming from the flimsy metal before she called out, "Azure!"

Before Azure could even respond, a loose bolt came out with a 'ping' sound and the vent snapped in two. This caused the hollow column of metal to come crashing down. Forcing the two out and onto the hard steel floor. Now lying face flat on the floor, Azure slowly picked himself up before immediately helping Sarah to her feet. Not caring about his own pain, he frantically ensured that she was all right and not hurt in any way. Even though the fall was minor. He had lost her once and would be devastated to lose her a second time.

It wasn't long before Azure turned around and drooped his ears with a hopeless expression, "Ahh crud." As they had stumbled in on a formation of SWAT bots in the factory's ready room. All of which were facing them with laser arms pointed.

In the streets of the smog filled Robotropolis. The clone of Sally walked down the aged road fearlessly. Gaining the attention of a patrol of two SWAT bots almost immediately. She simply stood there as she closed her eyes and held her abdomen. Focusing on contracting her muscles to pull in Tails' two tails into her 'womb'. Then manipulating her bodily functions to have the body of Tails squirm around inside her until she repositioned him from within. The two SWAT bots standing next to her a moment later and gestured her to move to the entrance of a building up ahead, "This way."

Trailing behind in the shadows was Sonic, Sally and Bunnie. Watching every move of the fake freedom fighter as she was approached by SWAT bots. Sally satisfied with her conformation that it was Robotnik behind this once again, "It seems he is using clones of us to gain our trust so they can capture any one of us before bringing them back here to be robotizied. I think now is a good time to rescue Tails, but now we also have to deal with two SWAT bots."

Sonic dismissing the threat, "Rescue plan 'A' of getting Tails back requires the trashing of two junk-tards? No sweat!" Before a couple more SWAT bots arrived to escort the clone, "Make that four. Too easy." A moment later hover tanks and a platoon of heavily armed SWAT bots moved into the same area.

"Do you have a plan 'B', Sugar?" Commented Bunnie.

With an irritated sigh, Sally shook her head, "We waited too long. Now we can't get Tails back with out bringing the entire Robotropolis on us."

"Or I could zip into Robotnik H. Q. and intercept him just before he is brought to the robotizier. No problem Sal." Sonic seemingly confident after their past successful attempts at infiltrating the facility.

"Well, it has worked before." Sally glancing back at Sonic before she then gestured to herself and Bunnie, "We'll go in and sabotage the generators to Robotropolis just in case." All of them would nod in acknowledgement before they took off in their separate ways.

Meanwhile inside the control room of Robotropolis. Robotnik and the mysterious fox were discussing matters about the cloning vats until the view screen showed up with the clone of Sally being escorted into the middle of a circular room. Robotnik instantly saw the bulging shape in the place of her abdomen, "Okay. So he's inside her. Now how do we get him out with out making a mess of the prisoner?"

"Simple doctor. Watch and learn." Promptly the fox spoke as she spoke into the speakers that would emit into the circular holding room. "Release the prisoner." He turned back to Robotnik with a smirk.

Inside the circular room. The two SWAT bots stood at the walls as they watched the clone in the centre. On command, she started to part her legs before placing her paws onto shape of Tails inside her so-called womb. As she pushed inward, the shape started to squirm and move downward. Her vaginal lips began to part before the clear, bodily fluid covered body of Tails slumped head first into a heap upon the cold, metallic floor.

Robotnik narrowed his eyes after seeing what was before him and slowly turned to the fox at his service, "You didn't bring me Sonic. You failed to keep your end of the agreement." He said in a cold voice.

"Oh didn't I? I'm quite sure you know who that is laying on the floor there." Trying to make it sound like it was apart of the plan and not a mishap that the Sally clone didn't go for Sonic, "Where he is. You have no doubt Sonic and the rest will follow."

"Is he even alive?"

"Of course. He would take a couple minutes to be revived from stasis how ever."

Suddenly Snively entered the room, "Uncle!" He said meekly.

"What is it Snively?!" Robotnik roared back as he was irritated by the unannounced interruption, "Can't you see I'm busy? Out with it already!"

Snively shrieked before he told him the news, "Our patrols seem to have captured two freedom fighters. They were found in our recycling facility. Sneaking around in the ventilation system."

"What?! The little pests are here already?!"

"I told you. Where there is one. More will follow." Added the dark fox.

"They are being held in one of the holding cells if you would like to see." Snively gave a devilish smile as he proudly added in his nasal voice, "I think you would be pleased to see who one of them is."

"On screen then!" Robotnik ordered as another view screen transformed from blank to a picture of Azure and Sarah in a holding cell. Although Robotnik knew who Azure really was right away. Looking at both the view screens with a confused frown, "Two Tails? How is that possible?"

Snively not sure what he was talking about as he hadn't noticed the other view screen with the Sally clone yet, "I heard it was a birth defect that caused the growth of two tails."

"Snively you bumbling idiot!" Yelled Robotnik which made Snively squeal in fear, "There are two Tails. As in two foxes WITH two tails. How can this be? Is one of them a clone or what?"

"If you would allow me doctor. Seeing as the Tails we have captured was directly from Knothole. I would like to go and investigate the two freedom fighters in the cell and find out who or what they are." Volunteered the fox as he saw some thing of interest from Azure and Sarah being together in the holding cell.

"Fine fine! Snively, escort him to the holding cells already." Robotnik waved his hand to shoo them away before he returned to frowning as he watched the viewing monitors of his newly acquired prisoners.

Snively muttered some thing under his breath before he gestured to the scientist, "This way. I don't have all day."

The fox slowly approached Snively until he was right in his face. Intimidating him a little bit before he whispered some thing to him that made Snively wide eyed in shock. Then the shadowy fox started walking away before he quietly added, "Go now. I can make my own way there."

Laying on the cold metallic floor in a pool of organic fluids, Tails slowly opened his eyes and narrowly peered around at the surrounding artificial lights that was harsh upon his pupils. A moment later he started to get up in a shaky fashion. Then looking up, he saw Sally. Or the clone of Sally to be more exact. How ever, he didn't know that and weakly called out, "Aunt... Sally?"

A voice that was chillingly familiar blared out the loud speaker connected to the room, "Dispose of the clone!"

The two SWAT bots guarding the room raised their arms and fired a trio of metal spikes directly at the clone. A hit to the chest and stomach made the clone double over and fall head first to the ground.

A confused Tails cried out, "Sally! No!" As he was trying to regain the strength to run over to her.

He looked on in shock as a moment later the body of the clone started melting like an ice cube in front of a heat lamp before there was nothing left but a puddle of sludge. Tails simply cringed and grasped the floor as he quietly sobbed, thinking the real Sally was now gone.

A crackle over the loud speaker to the room took place before the voice spoke again, "Now escort the prisoner to C. V. one."

The guarding SWAT bots immediately began to close in on Tails as he slowly stood up to face them. Shaking his head in disbelief before staring defiantly back at the approaching robots. Watching as a cold, metallic hand was reaching out for him. But then it was suddenly knocked back after an explosion occurred and a blue blur slammed into the robot's chest. Metal shards from the ceiling rained down from the explosion and Tails ducked for cover.

The other SWAT bot would go into attack mode as the scratchy voice yelled out, "GET THAT HEDGEHOG!"

Sonic running in a wide circle around the remaining SWAT bot as it impacted the surrounding walls with a trail of spikes while tracking his movements. He yelled over to Tails, "Tails! Disable it while I distract it!"

Tails nodded and wasted no time as he picked up a sharp, metal shard before running over to the robot as quickly as he could. He mustered the strength to stab with both paws into the hip of the humanoid machine. It instantly spurted out oil at Tails the moment he penetrated the valve. Slowly the robot would lag behind in tracking Sonic's movements until it could move no more. Stuck, unable to turn. Sonic then charged up a spin ball attack before he let loose at the immobilized robot. Sending it across the room in a heap.

A faint explosion shook the room before the lights went out and there was completely darkness, "Great." Sighed Sonic, "NOW Sal sabotages the generators!"

"Huh? Aunt S-Sally?!"

Meanwhile at one of the cells inside the detention block of Robotropolis. Azure and Sarah held each other closely as they waited for the what ever that was suppose to happen to them. Knowing it wasn't going to pretty for what ever Robotnik had planned for them. Huddled in the corner as they stared out of the jail cell and listened.

Suddenly every thing went dark and a whining sound of power being drained followed. Azure went up to the bars that were keeping them imprisoned. Grabbing with both paws, he pushed it to the side and the door slid open with out resistance, "The electromagnetic doors have lost their power!" Exclaimed Azure excitedly, "Come on. Let's get going!"

Sarah grabbed Azure's hand and they ran down the hall way to the elevator, "There is no power. We have to use the stairs." She added as they both ran in a fluid motion with each other, thinking the same thing.

Once the two foxes were climbing the stairs towards the upper levels of the detention block, emergency power began to become operational and dim, red lights lit the place in an eerie glow. The intruder alarm soon followed as they reached the top of the stairs. Running down a corridor filled with solid, metal doors that were acting as junctions which led to other sections of Robotropolis. All of them appeared to he sealed shut with exception of the door on the other end of the corridor; which was seemingly damaged. As Azure and Sarah ran towards their freedom, it was suddenly blocked by a black-furred, two-tailed fox.

Sarah pointed out in front at the dark figure, "Who is that?"

Azure came to a halt before he screamed out hopelessly, "No! It can't be! I - I destroyed you!" Stepping in front of Sarah as he shouted out in anger, "LEAVE HER THE HELL ALONE!"
