The sun rises slowly behind the Arcan Shrine. The air is warm, the wind is calm. Servants walk out the front door of the shrine, dressed in grey and white robes. Completing their morning ritual, the servant head back into the large shrine. The floors are a dark colored hardwood. The walls have various paintings, pottery and weapons on it. The short hallway from the front door leads into the larger main room which has a circle shape. The floor is carpeted and has a chandelier in the middle that hangs down from pyramid ceiling. Against the far wall is a large brick fire place that is always on. Opposite of the fireplace is a door that leads to the rooms where the servants sleep for the night and further passed the rooms is the pantry and kitchen where all of the food for the shrine is stored. That is the west wing of the shrine. The East wing is the training room and library. There is also a stair case that leads up to the room where the shrine master's room.

Coming down the stairs is the shrine master, a Nine tailed fox. A female with cream and white colored fur. The white only covering front like a normal fox and cream everywhere else. Unlike the servants, she is in a skimpy mage outfit. "Another day here at the shrine." Reyna said to herself as she walks down the stair carrying her dragon staff with her. "Have you completed your morning ritual?" Reyna asked the servants walking over to them.

"Yes Malady." They in unison as they bow to her.

"Very good. You are to eat and then study until mid-morning." Reyna said rising her staff up. "I will go out for my own rituals I will return in time for mid-morning plans." She leaves the presences of the servants and heads out the front door of the shrine.

Outside, Reyna walks slowly along the stone path. She finds the spot where the servants carved their ritual markings into the ground. The marking glow a strange blue color as Reyna walks passed them. With a nod, she heads out of the shrine ground and down the steps until reaches the main road at the bottom of the hill. Several wagons pass by pulled by the famous sled-taurs from the north. These wagons are different from the normal round and short wagons. They are longer and more box shaped. With a shrug, Reyna crosses the road after the small convoy of wagons pass by. She heads in the forest following a small path that was made by other who have cut through the forest.

Deep with in the forest, the path comes to a fork in the road. Reyna takes the road on the right. She continues her trek through forest stopping at a clearing where a creek silent flows along is weaved path through the forest. Stopping in front of the creek, Reyna stakes her staff in front the creek. She kneels down in front of staff and starts to chant lowly. The emerald on the staff starts to glow brightly. Just down the creek in a tree house on the opposite side of the creek from where Reyna is, Xylen feels a gust of wind blow by shaking his tree house. "Wow. Who is this statue of?" Xylen asked takes his sword of his back and placing it off to the side. He walks around examining the statue. It very detailed and well maintained.

"That would be Master Allardon's father, Emdymion. He gave his life during the Separatist War. He saved the vulpine race but could not help stop the Republic." Reyna said watching Xylen. "That staff was recovered but only barely and then made this statue to honor him. We do not worship him like some think. Look behind on the wall and you se why this shrine in his here."

Xylen nods and looks on the wall finding a large plaque that has been a metal plate on it with a writing on it. He smiles a bit and reads it: "The Magician's Decree. A magician bond to this oath must show honor, discipline and up hold the law. To display loyalty, trust among others. Never to make fashionable displays or abuse the power with in. Working co-operatively with those who need help. Protecting the innocent and dispel the wicked...." He stops and then looks back at Reyna. "This code. It is similar to the code I have been trained in." He said looking at her with wide eyes.

She nods at him. "That is why we are hear to train those who wish to continue on in the old code." Reyna places a hand on his shoulder. "Though you may be a knight of some kind, you are welcome to stay here if you wish. I am sure Allardon would not mind having some like around."

With a nod he moves over closer to the plaque, staring at it. His mind races with thoughts as he reads where he left off. Reyna leaves him to read while she goes out into the courtyard to work with servants. She is already late and wants to catch while she can.

The day seems to slowly pass as Xylen looks around the outside of the shrine. The sunsets and then servants light the torches that give the outside areas of the shrine light. He sighs a bit and then turns a bit feeling a hand touch his shoulder. He smiles a bit seeing Reyna there. She takes him inside and up to the guest room. Xylen looks around a little and then nods in approval.

"You are too kind." Xylen said taking his sword from his side and then placing it on the bed.

"Emdymion approved of your stay here." Reyna said closing the curtains. "I am most happy to have your here." She turns to him and then walks over to the door and locks it. With a bit of a smile, Reyna moves closer to Xylen.
