Silver Lining
Luke stepped out of his apartment into the cold November night air. It had been snowing recently; a soft white layer coated everything. He just wanted a way to ease the pain. Cursing quietly, he found his car to be out of gas when he tried the ignition. Furious with himself for forgetting to fill it up earlier, he just decided to walk down to the nearest bar and try to forget his past.
Luke was a mixed wolf. He himself was even uncertain of his parentage, having been abandoned when young. He looked good though, not weight lifter material, but he could take care of himself. His silver/black fur coated most of his body, except for the cream colored fur, which spread down his chest to his thighs. His headache wouldn't leave him as he slowly made his way to the bar.
As he trudged along, Marissa's words kept encircling his thoughts.
"What's done is done, Luke. I know that you're beating yourself up on this. I seriously am worried about you. What have you done that's so bad? It cant be that bad and if it is, I don't care. A friend is a friend, and I may have only a few friends, but the friends I make are for life. And personally, I wouldn't care if u were Adolph Hitler, I would help you to forgive yourself and start over. What's done is done, it can't be changed, but you, however can change. You have to learn to forgive yourself and forgive what you've done."
"If only she knew," he muttered to himself...
Luke had recently destroyed his friendship with his best buddy Matthew after getting the wrong idea at a party and trying to mate with him. He had just simply had one too many drinks and when Matt told him how much he cared about him as a friend, he took it the other way.

He entered the bar and sat down on a stool after ordering a Gin. The bar was really packed tonight, so he felt self conscious and dropped his ears low. After a few drinks, he began to feel himself relax more, not wanting to think about his train wreck of a life so far.

Suddenly a handsome looking timber wolf came in, his silvery white fur ruffled up by the strongly picking up winds. Finding nowhere else to sit, he soon asked Luke if he minded him sitting into the other stool at his table. Luke nodded stiffly and the wolf sat down.
"So what are you here for?" the wolf inquired in a kind tone of voice.
"My hellish life was just made worse, though I thought that not possible." Luke muttered.
"Wow, what happened?" the timber wolf asked, "If you don't mind my asking."
"Oh what harm could it do?" Luke sighed. "Very well, I just lost my best friend. Him and I were at a party and I got the wrong idea when he told me how deeply he cared about me. It was over as soon as I tried to make a move on him."
"Wait... Your gay?" the timber wolf asked, "You don't look the type."
"No one else has ever thought so either..." Luke said, "It just kind of came upon me one day."
"Hmmm..." the wolf said while apparently thinking it over very carefully. "Well, my names Artemis. I am afraid I never got your name."
"Luke is my name." Luke chuckled " You certainly aren't shy around people, are you?"
Artemis then dropped his ears back, and looked down ashamedly. "I don't come off too strongly do I?"
"No, no your fine." Luke grinned, "just didn't expect it at all..."
Artemis smiled and said, " I wish you weren't so uptight. Have you ever thought of finding a way to relax and become more at peace?"
"No, I am afraid all I can find myself doing is thinking about everything that's gone wrong." Luke said and laid his head down on the table.
Without meaning too, Artemis suddenly said, "I could always lend a paw..." as his tail started wagging.
Luke then suddenly raised his head from the table. A huge grin spreading across his lips, eventually revealing his 2 fangs as he whispered "Did you... just say what I think you said?"
Artemis started to stammer "I-I mean I w-would only do what you were comfortable w-with and-" suddenly he could no longer find words and hung his head. After a moment of silence Luke suddenly lifted Artemis' head.
"Do not feel uncomfortable. It is alright..." Luke softly spoke "I would be glad to take such an offer."
Some of Artemis's perkiness was restored as he said under his breath "Where can we go?"
Suddenly, standing up abruptly Luke stated, "I know a place."
Luke had never been so happy to return to his apartment in his entire life. He had honestly been expecting Artemis to walk away at the bar after he had told the timber wolf he was gay. Every inch of his body was tingling as he stepped up the stairs to his floor with Artemis behind him. Finally they reached their destination, room 69 of the apartment complex.
Luke felt his hands shaking as he turned the key to his apartment. Stepping into the warm center room they took of their coats and sat down on the couch.
"Its not much," sighed Luke "but its home."
"I think its cozy." Artemis said with a grin. He then started moving closer to Luke, and grabbed his paw.
"Listen," Luke whimpered "I have no experience in this type of-" suddenly being cut off by Artemis kissing him passionately.
They embraced as one another's tongues explored the others mouth. They held the warm embrace, excited by the feeling of another fur in their arms, until Luke suddenly pulled back.
"I-I need to..." he said, as he was a loss for words. Artemis knew what he meant though, as he realized that both of them were ready to move forward. Then as Artemis started taking off his shirt, Luke got the idea. After ripping off his own shirt, Luke ran his tongue down Artemis's chest until he reached the stomach. There he stopped to kiss Artemis on his soft stomach. Artemis then dropped his jeans, allowing Luke to reach lower down the final inches.
Artemis let a low growl escape his throat as he felt a warm, rough tongue caress his 8' shaft. Luke continued bobbing his head back and forth slowly taking in the whole length.
"Oh..." moaned Artemis as he felt Luke's tongue swirl around his cock. Luke soon felt a hand on the back of his head pushing him forward. Luke soon had freed himself of his own clothes and was getting more excited by the minute.

Artemis looked into Luke's shining blue eyes and kissed him gently. "Your beautiful..." he said. He fully meant it too. Luke's shining coat, piercing eyes, and sensitive personality was something Artemis really loved.
Luke then bent all the way over and stuck his rear in the air. Artemis could hardly contain himself as Luke lifted his tail away from the rear entrance.

"You know what?" Artemis said, " I could get used to this!"
With that they embraced (well at least as well as two people held together by some lower areas could).
"I can see me in your near future..." Luke murred.
Artemis smiled back at him. "So how do you feel now?"
"Tell you what" Luke said suddenly, "Where do you live?"
"Oh whatever inn I can keep my rent for..." Artemis shrugged, "Why?"
"How would you feel about a permanent home?" Luke asked with a hopeful expression.
"I could live with that..." Artemis stated happily.
"Well pack your bags my friend," Luke continued, "Ill expect all your belongings here by tomorrow."
Suddenly Luke Pulled out, sending a shiver down both of them.
"Why wait till then?!" Artemis howled. " I'll be right back!" and ran out the door before coming back hurriedly.
"Maybe I should put some clothes on first?" Artemis giggled.
"Might be a good idea." Luke laughed rolling his eyes.
As the timber wolf left, Luke got to thinking...
"I sure have one weird life..." he muttered with a slight smile.
