As i sit and wait, listening, watching and learning,

through kindness from so many others, i have seen the joy of life,

Because of others, i've learned kindness beyond measure.

I keep getting told, that my heart is good, that i'm such a loving person.

But why, why do i feel the darkness creeping in,

Sneaking into my thoughts and in my dreams.

The monster in side claws at the inside, trying to unleash itself,

The beast wants out, howling in frustration,

Should i take that plunge, unleashing that instinctive driven part of me,

even though i fear it, i fear the things deeper still even more.
