For the record, I couldn't be much happier than this my life had taken a turn for the best. I had wealth, I had a Wife, and of course I had freedom rather than some cold and lonely Jail Cell in Section 7 High Security. This was the life and I planned to keep it this way, tonight I had a dinner date with Carm at her Parents Mansion in Paris's North End such a very rich and high end side of town. Tonight our dinner date would determine Carm's Mother and Father's thoughts and views on me. Her father knew who I was easily as he had Chased my father Conner Cooper for years much like Carm had chased me however her mother didn't know me so the night was certain to be interesting. I decided we would take a Limo there, for starters it'd be a good impression to show I wasn't cheap and selfish with my money. When we arrived Carm tied my bow tie and we stepped out being immediately greeted by Carm's Father who held out his hand, "You must be Sly Cooper, I'm glad my daughter and you are happy together anything to make my daughter happy makes me a happy guy" I hesitated to shake his hand abit weirded out that he was being so friendly. When I did shake his hand I ignored the thought to steal his watch and when he pulled away he looked at his wrist then nodded, "Very well...for a thieving rodent your smart" I gave a underbreath growl, I had known he wasn't truly that nice, saw Carm give her father a glare and he backed off leading us inside and to the back patio where we all would be eating I pulled out a chair for Carm, "Here Love..." when she sat I carefully pushed her in before taking my seat myself, "Look Mr. Fox I'm pleased to have you had invited us to Dinner, it's quite nice of you, perhaps we could return the favor?" Carm's father looked up chuckling, "No my boy, that won't be necessary it was our gift for you making our Daughter happy, any plans of Grandchildren? after the Honeymoon?" I noticed Carm become really uneasy and felt abit nervous myself and then I cleared my throat chuckling softly, "No no, not quite yet we haven't really discussed kids yet we are still thinking of a nice place to go for our honeymoon" Carm loosened up out of relief as our food was brought out and I dug in however keeping my manners to make a good impression and i asked after swallowing, "So Mrs. Fox, how is the Boutique coming? is there any way I can help it along?" I watched her and she spoke, "Well, I need abit more funding but my husband is
quite stubborn about it" I chuckled, "How much more are we talking?" Mrs. Fox shifted and spoke, "about 50,000 Euros" I smiled pulling my checkbook out writing a check for 50,000 Euro's before passing it over having signed off on it, "I wish you luck" I had finished eating and so had Carm and we decided we would make our leave. Standing I helped Carm up and we made our way out to the front getting back into the Limo waiting there and we told the Shofuer to drive to my beach home. By the following week we returned from our Honeymoon and went home, over the time elapsed Carm had gotten pregnant and now I stood of the balcony of our Penthouse over looking Paris and at the Eiffel Tower..I was kind of worried having never been a father before this was new news to me and had me antsy, restless and nervous so there I stood thinking when i felt Carm hug me and smiled my eyes closed she told me she loved me and I returned it with a gentle kiss and we stood there looking at the Eiffel Tower.
All was well and going well I assumed nothing was wrong but I must have Jinxed something as late that night, Penelope showed up at our home in tears it shocked me and Carm. But once Penelope had calmed down we found out that her and Bentley and her had a Fight a big one at that, Carm insisted she stay with us for the time being till things cooled down and I agreed and decided i would pay Bentley a nice visit in good nature.
