Attire: Black tunic, Green breeches, steel longsword w/ leather scabbard (ornate with his family crest), steel shield (ornate with family crest etched into its face), hair tied back in leather thong, very clean and trimmed

Notes: born of royal lineage to his herd's ruling class, though 20th in line, so is only an honorary member of the ruling class. His father was an explorer of the region and has taught Mort how to survive on the land as well as fight with a sword and shield.

Catness Flufftail

Species: Feline

Age: ???

Home planet: ???

Features: Dark gray fur with light grey spots, green eyes, tail poof, sleek and slim build, lightly muscular

Attire: Green tunic, black breeches, brown cloak, steel daggers, longbow, leather quiver w/ arrows, fur groomed well and nails sharpened to a keen point.

Notes: Mort found her wandering the streets of a nearby city when he was young. She had no memory of her parents, who she was, or why she was on the Plainsworld. Her only memory was a recurring nightmare of a skeletal figure reaching towards her from above her grave. She and Mort have been friends since their first encounter and Mort's father took her in as his own.

Duncan Cloudswindle

Species: Vupine

Age: 25

Home planet: Plainsworld

Features: Bright red fur, tipped in white at the cheeks, tail and paws, brown eyes, thin build

Attire: Red tunic/breeches, thick red cloak, pouches with spell components, ornate staff with flames engraved along the length of the shaft and a Living Flame on the tip, fur left wild and free

Notes: Mort met Duncan on one of his earlier adventures. While sleeping in a cave, after a long adventure himself, Duncan was trapped by a bear and separated from his staff and spell components. Mort, seeing the fox in danger, charged in and jumped on the bear's back, taking it by complete surprise. The bear, startled, ran off in search of less, inhabited, lodgings. They have been best friends ever since. Duncan is renown as the "Duncan the Red" for his talent with fire magic, and known as "The silver-tongued fox" by the ladies, and the men who's ladies he has stolen, for his eloquent speech and seemingly magical ability to find his way into the beds of any lady he chooses, though this piece of lore is generally spread by himself in his seemingly endless quest in chasing tail.

George Swiftfoot "Speedy"

Species: Rabbit

Age: 16

Home planet: Plainsworld

Features: jet-black fur and red eyes, skinny, frail build, large buckteeth, floppy ears held back with a red ribbon, the ribbon usually being the only clean part of this boy

Attire: Dark blue jumpsuit, red ribbon (a gift from his mother when he left home to college), backpack full of tools and random wires/circuit boards/batteries/etc., followed by his robot (whom usually requires an abundance of the items in the backpack on a regular basis).

Notes: Mort met George many years ago while attending school. George was a classmate who was identified as a genius and obtained his PHD in robotics design/engineering by the time he was 12. He went on to create the Swiftfoot Robotics company, the leading edge in discount household robots. The company is renown for producing the cheapest robots in the known worlds and are well worth the cost as long as you can handle the 'personality' included in the designs, which were usually very forthright and honest and chipper, interminably so in most cases. After a building his empire, he was approached by a covert military organization looking to hire him to build combat replacements. Having absolutely no knowledge of combat practices or combat in general, save for the hours of VR games he plays between brainstorming sessions, he decided to take his prototype into the 'field' to test. Having no idea where to start, he contacted Mort, invited himself over, and has been tagging along on adventures for the last 2 years, completely ignoring the organization that hired him in the first place. George would have been diagnosed with ADHD at a very young age if his therapists understood anything he was saying at all. In order to disguise his identity, he pestered Mort and his friends in what turned out to be a 16-hour tirade of thought-flow. Exasperated, Mort finally shouted "Enough, Speedy!" Taken aback by Mort's sudden outburst, George stopped for a brief second (maybe two seconds), eyes gleamed, grinning, and hugged Mort, thanking him for the great idea. The name "Speedy" stuck from that moment onward.

Heidi Moonchild

Species: Canid

Age: 35

Home planet: Howloon

Features: Fluffy black and white fur, haunted yellow eyes, curled tail, chunky build

Attire: Silky white robes, silver necklace with the emblem of the god Luna, body bound in silk wrapping and soft leather leggings, beads woven into the fur on her head, light-shifting tattoos shine from under her fur along her neck and face in her tribe's pattern, hunting rifle strapped to her back and pouches at her side filled with herbs and oils for meditation and healing

Notes: Heidi was born blind. Being seen as useless at hunting, and therefore useless as a person, due to her defect, her tribe threw her out into the snow to die. The goddess Luna took pity on her and gave her the ability to see not only the world around her, but the spirits of those she saw, and all the evils and greatness inherent in each. Luna marked Heidi as her own with glowing tattoos along her entire body and the ability to heal those who's spirits were good. Heidi managed to wander back into the tribe's encampment, completely untouched by the elements around her. To the tribe's amazement, she growled and snarled at one of the tribesmen that came to greet her. The tribesman, being a demon in the skin of a fallen warrior, burst forth with the intent to kill the child. The child's tattoos grew blindingly bright. The demon screamed and turned to ash in front of the girl. The tribe welcomed her back as their cleric and oracle. About a year ago, she started having visions of demons and necromancers spreading darkness and disease and destruction across the universes, consuming the life of each world as they advanced. A single figure shone out in the darkness, standing among hoards of demons and evil creatures, alone, fighting back and keeping the enemies at bay. She is now determined to seek out this individual and find his secret to defeating the oncoming invasion.
