Chapter 10 - The King's Rage
#11 of Main Storyline - Children of Gaia - The Beginning...
Darkness enveloped the office of Gene Norwood. This was the one place he didn't have to worry about hiding from the world. The office made him comfortable, made him feel safe. The dim light the shone from the many candle stands throughout the office made it seem more occultish, more menacing at first glance. The red carpet leading to his desk and the gleaming marble flooring around didn't aid the situation. The room made Gene seem like a king, including the ornate carvings within the mahogany wall linings inside the office. He sat behind the desk, rocking back and forth in his oversized, leather upholstered chair. He was awaiting for one of his Lieutenants to return to him from a previous mission.
"She's not comin'" huffed another voice from behind his chair.
The lion turned to find Spectre, the cigarette smoking white wolf, staring out the top floor window of the building. He was staring at the several thousand foot drop, knowing full and well that a fall from here would surely kill him.
"She will be here if she knows what is good for her, Spectre," he retorted with a snarl to his tone. "Aren't you supposed to be looking for something? Perhaps the banes of our very existence?"
"Already workin' on it boss." He took another drag before he turned around for his eyes to meet the lions. "I got communication loggers who are scanning random frequencies to see if we can't determine..."
Before he could finish the sentence, the lion made one quick movement and slammed the wolf's head against the large window and held him there, growling angrily. "YOU BUFFON! Don't you think we tried that?! They have Hard Drive remember? Their communications are now psychically linked directly to HIM! IT'S A UNDETECTABLE SIGNAL YOU TWIT!"
The wolf furiously grits his teeth as his face slammed the window hard, but lucky for him not breaking it. The force of the blow did create a spiderweb crack where his face contacted the window.
"What the hell do I pay you for Spectre, if you can't follow simple rules to discover where ther enemies to our plans reside?" he whispered menacingly into the wolf's ear.
"I'm sorry sir, I will head to R and D to figure something else out," Spectre muffled out.
"See that you do..."
"Daddy?" came a calm cold voice from the doorway of the office.
The Lion quickly turned to see his lovely "daughter" standing inside the doorway. She was garbed in a specially designed skin tight "GENECORP" leather body suit and wore a black trenchcoat over. She had a more manly cut to her hair, short and perfectly cropped. If it wasn't for her full figured body, you would say the young golden retriever was a man.
The Lion slowly let go of Spectre's head and adjusted his jacket and tie quickly. "I'm sorry Mind Flayer, my dear. Daddy was having a discussion with Uncle Spectre...What News?"
She came closer after closing the door behind her and stood before him without any emotion on her face. She held no fear or remorse in her eyes as her emerald portals stared directly at her so called father.
"The Mission was a failure. We discovered a leak in our information, but it was too late by the time we found it. Moreau's team fetched the Fox and the Bear from right underneath our noses. I know that... HE was there too. I could not penetrate his mental shielding he placed over his comrades."
Gene couldn't believe what he heard. Everything was slowly beginning to unravel for him, for his work. First Moreau takes a stand against the very bill that would make his obtaining more mutanimals quicker and easier, the one mutanimal that would have made it impossible for Moreau to stand against him was now gone. Everyone in the room could feel the anger build up inside of the lion slowly. Suddenly, Gene bursts into a furious bout of violence as he picked up his chair with ease and throws it against one of the walls, roaring as loud as he could. It was obvious the animal was beginning to take over in his mind. He quickly stormed over to the golden retriever and grasped her neck and face. Her expression never changed even when he grasped her. She was a blank slate and simply stared into his eyes. He wanted to squeeze as hard as he could. Instead, he engaged her with a furious, animalistic and lustful kiss on her lips. After a while they finally parted with Gene panting heavily.
"To your room Mind Flayer... Daddy will be in with your punishment." he gasped as he finally calmed down enough to not want to kill her.
"Yes father." she said as she turned around and began walking back out of the office.
He turned to meet the smirk on the lips of the wolf still behind his desk. "You sick fuck," you muttered. "Getting her to think you're her father and then raping her for a punishment."
"It is none of your concern Spectre!" he replied angrily.
"Oh don't get me wrong, I approve of your methods boss."
"Right," he said as he once again regained composure, straightening his tie. "I've got another job for you to take care of, it is a higher priority right now."
"Is it involving that little bitch of a sister of Mind Flayer's?"
"Yes." he said softly. "I feel Mind Flayer's morale lowering, I need a way to keep her under my control. If she becomes any more discontent, she may attempt to resist, and we both know what she is capable of...."
"What do ya want boss?"
"I want her shipped from our base in Florida up here to New York. By any means necissary."
"I figured you would. I took the liberty to have her delivered overnight sir."
"Excellent," he said. Just as Spectre thought his boss was satisfied, the lion grabbed him by his fatigues and throws him towards the other end of the office. The wolf lands with a sickening thud against the wall and slid down to the floor. As the wolf looked up, he noticed his boss was already on top of him. "Go over my head with an order like that again, and I will have to punish you as well... and for you," The lions paw slipped under the wolf's chin as he was quickly lifted and slammed against the wall, so the two would see eye to eye. "You're punishment will not be a pleasurable one, and it will be just as pornographic as the one I tend for my daughter, Spectre." Gene released Spectre into a sitting position against the wall. "Now if you'll excuse me," he said with a smile creeping over his maw. "I must tend to my daughter..."
