#5 of Wolf and Deer

The story of the deerwolf's parents continues in a mini-chapter; this one will be illustrated by a song composed by Sira if all goes as planned. To get an idea how the piece is going to sound like, listen to Theatre of Tragedy's "Tanz der Schatten" while reading. Give it a try! :3 And no, not every part is going to be this... concise.

^.^ Enjoy!

A strange music seemed to come out of nowhere, filling both their minds with a need unspoken and unheard of. Wolf and Deer, Hunter and Prey, Fang and Fleetfoot - wanted each other.

Wolf and Deer - Part Two - Reborn

Hunger. Reborn had been searching, searching for food more than a quarter of Brightface in the sky. Her stomach threatening to digest itself; her legs, bloodied by the frozen snow, almost too weak to carry her. Winter had been harsh upon her herd, but...

Wolf and Deer - Part One - Beta

1 Winter. Cold biting through the paws drumming on the frozen snow. And hunger, like the stomach had turned in upon itself. Despair. Human hunters, just as hungry, following on the heel. Damn them. As if they'd miss the few chickens that granted the...
