Wolf And Deer - Part Four - Realisation
#5 of Wolf and Deer
The story of the deerwolf's parents continues in a mini-chapter; this one will be illustrated by a song composed by Sira if all goes as planned. To get an idea how the piece is going to sound like, listen to Theatre of Tragedy's "Tanz der Schatten" while reading. Give it a try! :3 And no, not every part is going to be this... concise.
^.^ Enjoy!
Beta's jaws closed - but not on her throat, as he would have intended back then, what seemed a lifetime ago. Instead, he found himself gently nibbling her ear, feeling a warmth in his belly that other prey would never have granted. He felt her muscles tense, not poised for flight, but shivering. Not with the cold, he felt.
Reborn's smile never faded. She felt Fang's hot breath on her neck, but somehow, his jaws failed to put her out of her misery. At least, not in the way she had expected. An electric sensation ran down her spine, and she felt her heart beat faster. But the blood it pumped, which should have gone into her legs in a final, desperate attempt to escape, took another path entirely. Fang... was... nibbling her ears, and every movement of his jaws made her want to stand - for him.
A strange music seemed to come out of nowhere, filling both their minds with a need unspoken and unheard of. Wolf and Deer, Hunter and Prey, Fang and Fleetfoot - wanted each other.
