It was another hot humid day in the Jungle. The young human solider sighed softly as he looked around him curiously as he took his knife and sliced through the thick jungle. He disapproved of working with these "Furs" As the military had called the two legged animals that had joined society about 20 years ago during the "Change" an event that allowed two worlds to cross each other, and the Furs were the alien species to enter our own world.

There was a lot of major changes when the Fur community came into being, a lot of humans disapproved of their existence and thought that they should be sent back to their planet in which they came from, however there were other humans that wanted to keep the Furs around to learn of their knowledge to better improve our world, so there was a major debate on whether or not they should stay or go back home.

But a law was passed which allowed them to stay on this planet if they desired too. During the time of the Change Furs have begun to uncover a lot of secrets in which the Earth didn't know of. Like last year the world's biggest cave system had been discovered which housed many various prehistoric creatures inside that lived in the caves for millions of years.

It was in fact this journey in which the young soldier found himself in search of an undiscovered temple that had been said to have been possibly built by the Furs themselves a long time ago, for according to ancient history the Furs had gone two hundred million years ago when the last Change occurred and Furs back then had discovered our world.

They had built ancient relics and temples in their own honor and once the Change reoccurred they were sent back to their world, and thus left behind their essence within the earth in cave paintings and in their ancient temples which then were lost within time as forests grew over them, burying them in millions of years of plant growth.

The Temple of Shadows was so far the only temple that the Furs were able to find since their arrival, and that was the Temple in which the young human solider was searching for.

"Alright guys," Said a jackal who sliced through a thick plant which was blocking their path. "Let's set camp here," He said walking towards the center of the clearing gazing about. The young wolf named Justin followed behind Ank and looked about him.

"Are you sure that this place is safe?" He inquired. "What about feral Jaguars?"

"Josh, what do you think Ash?" Asked Ank looking towards the young human solider who had knelt down his head between his legs as he was catching his breath. "Do you think it's safe?"

It took some time for Josh to look around him, to gain his bearings. "Well, in my judgment this is probably one of the better camp locations then what I've seen behind us," He said. "We must clear it of poisonous bugs or snakes," He suggested. "So that we're not being rushed to the hospital,"

Ank grinned and chuckled. "Alright,' He said grabbing his backpack and unzipping it, he pulled out a miniature flame thrower and loaded it up. "Perfect time to use this," The jackal said smirking as he loaded it. "Stand clear!"

Suddenly the entire ground beneath them began to be engulfed with flames, the plant life beneath them began to wither away at the flames, and bark and other plant life began to turn into ash, and whatever was there either evacuated or was exterminated by the flames of the jackal's torch.

After an hour or two past by, the ashes were swept up and whatever insects or snakes were there were long gone and everyone was helping to set up camp. Ank and Jason had managed to get the tent set up and had their sleeping bags unfolded and were already nestled.

"I'm going to look around for a bit," Said Ash taking a deep breath and took a swig of water which ran down his throat, he had his shirt off and was revealing his muscle toned body to the other two males. "Are you ar Fur?" Inquired the human in puzzlement as the snake approached him slithering towards him, his tongue flicking about, the snake drew so close to him, the tongue was practically flicking around his muscle toned frame. "Well?"
