Walking over to the table Sabrina was looking at me like I got kicked in the skull. As I took a seat at the large table Azzy looked at Sabrina to her trying to figure things out. "So anything new for today's agenda or is it pretty much a continuation from yesterday?" I smiled. She rolled her eyes then opened the book on the table then scrolled through the pages. Once she reached the chapter I left off on yesterday evening; Moving inanimate objects.
With that she gave my hair a ruffle then helped snap Sabrina out of her stupor. After she recovered and saw me studying, I started reading about telepathy and kinetics. While I continued, Launa walked and leaned over me then placed her hand on the book. This caused me to look up from my current page into her steel blue eyes and warm smile. "Come on, Nova let's try some live practice and see how you perform alright." Launa suggested.
She had me practice with small objects like rocks, balls and other various items. Everyone was amazed that I handled them so well then she moved me onto larger objects. After an hour with this level of training I became curious to learn what my actual limit was. Launa didn't wonder long about the sly grin that came to my face as I selected my target. With a slow wave of my wrist then a totally unaware Sabrina began levitating off the ground.
"Nova, that's enough for now I'm impressed that you could lift so much weight. Especially single handedly but, you know that Sabrina doesn't make a good guinea pig." Azzy stated. Doing as she asked I set the female werewolf down before she knew what happened. A minute later the urge to continue training just vanished and Launa noticed it first. "Nova, are you certain that everything is alright you don't look well?" Launa questioned.
"Yeah, Launa there's something on my mind it's about how we met six months ago. You're an experienced warrior and knew the wisest course of action was killing me. Now I don't want to sound ungrateful but, I don't how I'll be able to repay your kindness. Azzy, I owe you the most to if it wasn't for you I would've never broken free from, Him. If there's anything I can do to repay all of you please don't hesitate to ask." I said trying not to cry.
Sadly I was unable to hold back the tidal wave of emotions then collapsed and cried. Before anyone could even react accordingly, somebody else burst into the dining room. Scooping me up into their muscled arms, held me tight and purred soothingly into my ear. While the figure held me against their chest the scent of wet fur was very uncomfortable. Pulling away some to look at my source of comfort and all I saw were two huge white mounds.
My face turned a vibrant color then my hands detached from what they were touching. "H-h-hi, Sayber when did you get here?" I stammered finally looking into her blue eyes. As we looked into each other's eyes, she tilted her head curiously about my mood swing. Launa tried not to laugh at this situation and ended up failing miserably making things worse. She walked towards us then asked the Siberian Tiger, Snow Leopard hybrid to put me down.
Sayber looked at her fellow feline then set me down on the floor and moved away. When ever she comes to visit I'm overwhelmed by all fourteen feet of beauty and muscle. Despite her strength and vast magical power, I'm still amazed how gentle she can be. "Look at you, Sayber you're soaked to the bone, come on let's get you dried off." I said grabbing her wrist. Upon exiting the dining room I over heard Launa and Sabrina whispering to each other.
Making a mental note to get even with those when Azzy and Sayber aren't around. Escorting the soaked tiopard into another room, she kept giving me this strange look. Since Sayber speaks only when it's vital, I learned quick how to read her facial expressions. "Forgive me, if I want to make sure you don't catch a cold from being out in the rain." I replied. Next I began sifting through shelves and cabinets looking for a towel she could dry off with.
While I kept searching the look she gave said, "Why are you making a fuss, I'm fine." Several minutes later I gave up looking then took off my robe and handed it over to her. "Use this to dry yourself off with and I'll be down the hall, so take your time." I said walking out. Before she could reply the door had closed behind me, giving her plenty of privacy. Without warning a new presence loomed over me yet, I somehow already knew who it was.
"Aww! When were you planning on sharing that you had a soft spot for Sayber? Here I figured you and Azzy would click or at least you'd make a pass at me or Sabrina." Launa smiled. Somehow I wasn't truly surprised that she used a teleportation spell to appear beside me. <Launa, you know better than to assume anything when I'm involved.> I said telepathically. The feline warrior flinched upright then she quietly returned to the dining room.
Apparently she wasn't prepared to receive my response inside her mind like that. Azzy's probably the only person out of everyone that's comfortable with this unrefined ability. While I continued my way towards the dining room this evil smirk appeared on my face. Once I reached the doorway and looked around to see everyone I locked onto Sabrina. The other day I read a section about psy-persuasion and naturally I was curious about it.
Now trying this on ether Launa or Azzy is ill advised but, Sabrina on the other hand. She's more hands on than tactical so I carefully entered her mind and gently poked around. Without alerting her then with a little mental prompting, she scratched herself at random. A gentle croon got Launa's attention but, when she looked she just shrugged it off. Until she noticed me standing in the doorway staring at her then figured out what I was doing and smiled.
Not bothering to alert Sabrina she stood there and watched her friend fondle herself. When Sabrina's moans got Azzy's attention and once she noticed Launa watching me. It didn't take Azzy long to decide that enough was enough then she walked on over. With a gentle slap to the back of my head broke my concentration but, it was already too late. The pleasurable sensations coursing through her were too wonderful for Sabrina to stop.
While I'm rubbing the spot Azzy struck while she watched Sabrina with a smile. Now the urge to laugh at her expense was getting harder to ignore until Sayber returned. When she noticed what Sabrina was doing her curiosity got the better of the feline. She walked quietly over to where Sabrina was standing then gave her shoulder a tap. At that moment the werewolf's daydream burst then wisely looked around the dining room.
Only to see all her friends either looking at her funny or trying hard not to laugh. Figuring that she missed a joke she shrugged it off then quietly walked out of the room. The second we knew she was gone every one hunched over then busted out laughing. When Sabrina reached the top of the staircase and that's when it finally dawned on her. From the tips of her ears down to her feet, Sabrina's fur went from white to bright red instantaneously.
"NOVA, WHEN I CATCH YOU, I'M GONNA SKIN YOUR SCRAWNY ASS ALIVE!" She yelled. Launa and Sayber got into position while Azzy moved closer then placed her hand on my shoulder. "You know Nova the smart thing to do right now is find a place to hide before she returns. Judging from that angry tone of voice she's dead set on carving you a new ass." Azzy replied. Before I could move Sabrina burst through the doorway in her super werewolf state.
Eyes blazing white when they locked onto me Launa and Sayber got ready to intervene. I signaled to both women I had things well under control so they politely backed off. Just as Sabrina charged towards me like a freight train then with one hand picked me up. Snarling angrily at me for pulling such a dirty stunt without worrying about any retaliation. Before she smashed my skull in, I reached up then scratched along her neck and muzzle.
She shifted from berserk to peaceful in a short space of time even her tail wagged. Even this was low but, it was the only thing I could think to calm this power house down. As Sabrina returned to her normal state then put me I replaced my tail with my hands. "I'm truly sorry Sabrina to be honest I didn't think you'd get that upset over a tiny prank. Hopefully this gesture, my apology and getting my ass back to work makes us even." I replied.
With a happy groan yes from her I resumed my training until it was dinner time. When Launa walked into the kitchen to cook I headed for my room until Azzy stopped me. She convinced me to stay and while they enjoyed their meal, I decided to go my room "Before you go Nova would you be up to shedding a little on a few missing details for us." Launa began. Something told me that I would have to share these very painful memories someday.
"I understand this won't be easy but, I think we all deserve to know what we missed." She stated. The look on her face told me she was curious but, didn't want me to feel pressured ether. Naturally I chose to avoid this topic by asking to go upstairs to get something from my room. Already aware that I wanted out of talking about this but, she was able to talk me into it. As dread and panic coursed through me I just wasn't going to be able to do this by myself.
Granted I don't like asking for help but, I was going to need some form of support. Azzy is the only person I trusted and I knew she would help share them with the others. As I walked towards her Sabrina expressed her opinion before I could ask Azzy anything. What nobody myself included was for Sayber to get up snarl at Sabrina then offer to help. It left everybody in the room in a strange state of shock when she agreed to comfort me.
Silently I double checked with Azzy if it was okay and sure enough she didn't mind. Launa wasn't as confident and expressed her feelings with me in private on the subject. I couldn't blame Launa for her concern since this was going to beyond awkward for me. Seeing as Sayber is comfy in her own nudity until she pulled out my robe and unfurled it. Next she sat down crossed legged then did her best to cover her busty muscular upper body.
She tied the arms loosely around her neck to keep it from falling off her large breasts. Curious I asked to peer into her mind and with the okay I learned she dried it with magic. Despite her covered upper body I still feel uncomfy about being so close to her person. Taking a couple deep breaths I sat down on her muscled thighs then grabbed her hand. Earning me a curious expression but, she didn't pull away as I prepared to share that chapter
(One year ago.)
Once they packed everything they might need the trio walked out to the street. Next Launa gave a loud whistle and summoned her 900hp custom built chopper. When it arrived Launa waved a hand making a sidecar and saddle bag appear. Storing all their gear into the saddle bag then Azzy and Sabrina got into the sidecar. Driving off down the street she flicked a switch on the gas tank and the chopper took flight.
Elsewhere in a small Russian town another female warrior sensed the same energy. For the town's secret guardian she had a feeling, Launa was already on-route. There was no need for her to leave home until this flash of purple lit up the sky. Growling under her breath she unwillingly started going towards the weird light. She kept going until she reached the heart of the forest where she began to transform.
Revealing to any nearby wildlife that this human was the tiopard, Sayber. Seeing as the energy's source was far away and would take awhile to get there. Despite not knowing what lied ahead Sayber wisely reserved all of her magical energy. Next she crouched down then with all her strength then launched high into the air. Once she was close enough to the energy source she'd teleport the rest of the distance.
Back in Amsterdam, Launa tried using her ability to track the energy's source. All she was able to learn the energy was roughly four thousand kilometers away. Either way they've got a three hour trip ahead, even at her chopper's top speed. Of course Sabrina complained about coming along until Launa explained herself. "Sabrina, I don't know what's going on but, I'd rather be safe than sorry." She began.
"Besides this power could be strong enough to decimate all life on the planet. SO! Excuse me if I don't want to get there then shoot myself in the damn foot. Hence, why I'm bringing you two along since you'll have my back if things get ugly." Launa stated. Her voice was rich with worry and uncertainty then her shoulders sank gradually. Azzy felt the same in regards to what she and Launa sensed that strange power.
"Sabrina, I've gotta side with Launa there's just not enough available info." She said. When the werewolf saw the worried expression on Azzy's face this sounded genuine. "Launa, do you have some sort of idea about what we're getting ourselves into?" Azzy asked. The experienced warrior didn't know how to give her friend the right answer. Sadly her silence wasn't helping the morale then another flash of light appeared.
"Umm? Could either of you give me an answer or should we go home?" Sabrina asked. The nervous tone in Sabrina's voice certainly matched everyone's feelings. Launa glanced over her left shoulder at her wolven friend and took a breath. All the experienced feline warrior knew this was something that couldn't be ignored. When the energy's source came into view Azzy noticed a green hue covering the area.
Remaining airborne for a little while to search the ground for any kind of traps. When they couldn't find any they moved closer and learn the city was deserted. Next Launa searched for a place to land that kept the city within walking distance. After landing safely the trio dismounted then off in the distance the ground shook. Scanning the area but, the strange energy made it difficult to locate anything else.
Before going anywhere near the city this feline growl alerted Launa's ears. Looking around again and off in the distance she caught sight of the striped back. "Hey, girls stay here and I'll be right back I think we've got some additional help." Launa smiled. Sabrina and Azzy were about to comment until they saw a bushy striped tail. They've heard stories about Sayber and weren't sure about having her assistance.
"Relax girls, Sayber's here for the same reasons we are, perhaps she'll join us." Launa said. Sadly Launa wasn't sure she could even talk the tiopard into teaming up with them. Crossing her fingers Launa teleported safely before Sayber and smiled warmly. "Hello, Sayber I'd like to ask you some thing if that's alright?" Launa wondered. Sayber eyed Launa for a second then nodded, curious to know what she wanted.
"Look, Sayber this is going to surprise you but, I could use your assistance. There's no info on this power but, our odds improve if we all team up together. I have no intention of forcing into joining us but, this is one hell of an unknown. For all we know this power and its host could be something nobody has faced before. Please help us quell this power before it falls into the wrong hands, Sayber." Launa pleaded.
Sayber walked towards a tree, leaned against it and thought about her offer. While she though it over, Sabrina and Azzy joined them but, they kept their distance. Considering they weren't sure what was going on between Launa and Sayber. Standing back up then stepped towards Launa and placed a hand on Launa's shoulder. Next Sayber dipped her head telling Launa that she was going to help them out.
"Thank you Sayber I'm deeply honored to have your help during this mission. Since we don't have a damn clue about what we're getting into with this situation. I'm guessing this energy pulled you away from what you were doing at home also." Launa said. Sayber nodded as they cautiously walked towards what appeared to be a barrier. Before getting any closer, Launa fished along the ground for something to test it.
She found a rock about the size of her fist then tossed it towards the barrier. Even though the stone passed right through harmlessly but, Launa wasn't convinced. "Alright, that's enough pussy footing around let's just get this over with." Sabrina growled. With that stated the super werewolf stormed impatiently towards the barrier. Naturally she ignored her friend's requests and walked through the energy shield.
Luckily for the impatient super werewolf and passed through unharmed. Sabrina was smart enough to inspect herself after passing through the barrier. Launa and Sayber were the next to walk through and Azzy brought up the rear. Once on the other side of the barrier Azzy, Sayber and Launa checked themselves. Curious about the barrier Launa walked back over and gave it a closer inspection.
"Hmm, this force field was created to look dangerous but, it's just a facade. Not a bad tactic but, the question remaining where can we find this barrier's creator." Launa stated. As they ventured forward there was something familiar about this city. Continuing further through the deserted streets when something happened. Poor Azzy wasn't prepared as this sudden psychic ping struck her unsuspectingly.
Launa and Sabrina's attention was elsewhere when Azzy dropped to her knees. Sayber had been bringing up the rear when she feel and was at her side within seconds. "Thank you, Sayber I'm okay but, whatever that was it's passed now." Azzy replied. Upon hearing her speak the others turned around then checked on her then continued. Suddenly the same telepathic ping returned but, this time she heard something.
<P...L...E...A...S...E, H...E...L...P, M...E!> A male like voice cried out statically. Azzy reached into her bag, pulled out a crystal then tracked the voice's location. "Everyone, follow me this gem here will bring us directly to the power's source." She informed. Naturally her friends looked at her just as the crystal whizzed right past them. After some careful navigating they arrived where the crystal was floating patiently.
Taking a few minutes to survey the area carefully, before going any further. Once the coast was indeed clear they walked into the open and saw a young man. Standing silently in the center of the city square but, something clearly wasn't right. That's when everyone noticed this eerie violet aura covering his entire body. In addition about twenty pitch black energy tendrils twisting and contorting around.
Apparently they appeared to be connected along the spine and very long tail. Even the air was thick with an unknown yet, somehow long forgotten power. The voice Azzy heard before contacted her again pleading desperately for help. Sadly the figure sensed that it wasn't alone when It turned creepily to the left. Looking at the group of tall, muscular and curvy women It silently studying them.
"Seriously, we came all the way out here to deal with that scrawny weakling?" Sabrina said. Unfortunately her snide remark earned the group a sudden pulse wave in response. It forced the ground to compress and splinter radically like a frozen lake. When Launa, Azzy and Sayber recovered and sat up they scowled at Sabrina. "Honestly, Sabrina what the hell possessed you insult the strange being?" Launa asked.
To be continued.
