Starmon walked out then saw a walker. It went after him. Starmon tackled the walker down. He picked up a bolder then saw the cross on the walker. He tossed the bolder away. He decided not to deal with that walker since it got impaled on the way down. Starmon took one final look back. He continued on whatever path he was now set on.

Stitch was walking in the woods still being followed by Gatomon. Stitch asked, "Why are you here?"

Gatomon was walking with a somewhat of a strut, "Isn't it obvious, I'm here to guide you back to Veemon. To be honest I've become a fan of your little cross over love."

Stitch stopped, "I don't think I could last..."

Gatomon placed her hands against a tree and lifted her tail, "Then take me on."

Veemon bumped Spadamon launching him down into the ground. Veemon got out of the car and came over. Veemon knelt down. Veemon asked, "Why didn't you stop?"

Spadamon was in such pain as he arched a bit, "My back..."

Veemon explained, "This could have all been avoided. All you had to do was stop."

Spadamon said, "You don't get it, you're plan won't work. I said what I thought was necessary to get out. You got to help me..."

Veemon said, "I don't have to. You broke my trust and nearly killed one of mine people."

Spadamon said, "You have to give me a second chance. I was scared...I really want to patch things up with Kumamon...and Coronamon too."

Veemon said, "I don't neither of them would want to see you with the bullshit you pulled."

Spadamon asked, "What about you...I heard you liked to fool around. You and I have never done it so we should...so come on let me go."

Veemon had a distained look as he snarled down as Spadamon, Veemon's voice was very deep as he replied, "...No."

He pointed his gun up and shot Spadamon in the head.

Emily was sitting in one of the smaller offices of the hospital. Gina was on a treadmill. Emily looked at a picture of Gina with the former leader of the police unite. Emily asked, "Is that who led you."

Gina answered, "He was. But he lost sight of what was important. The things we try to care of while were here. He was so far lost."

Emily studied the badges rather briefly placing the picture on a lower cabinet. Gina said, "Put the picture up there."

Emily placed the picture on the top counter top. Emily looked down and asked, "What are we doing?"

Gina looked at her oddly and asked back, "What do you mean?"

Emily explained, "I mean get out of here. This place isn't safe."

Gina gave her an absurd look, "Are you kidding me. This might be the safest place we have. And we are doing important things here. Out there is just death."

Emily crossed her arms, "I don't see it...this isn't much better."

Gina picked up her radio, "Spadamon come in..."

There was no response. She radioed in, "Spadamon did you check on what that gun fire was..."

Emily asked, "What's wrong."

Gina sighed, "Spadamon always responds but this time he's not..."

Starmon was outside wondering around like a hopeless lost kid. He found a white bible underneath it was the burnt leg of Commandramon. Inside the school was a heard of walkers trying to get out. Starmon held up the white bible, he looked up as the walkers seemed to get more aggressive with trying to escape. Starmon looked back inside thinking their might have been a special message inside. The door flung open and Starmon gasped, "Jesus..."

He staggered his way back as the heard gave chase. He tried to go under the church when he arrived but there were even more walkers already baiting in closer. Starmon slammed against the door from the ground. He pulled out of the pipes making his way up the stairs as the walkers came he. Starmon pounded on the door crying out, "Let me in..."

Kotemon looked up and so did Kiff. Kotemon placed Salamon in a small brown backpack. They had already fortified the location and now Kotemon found himself cutting at the wood. Starmon held back one of the walkers as some of the others were getting trapped on custom floor pikes. Kotemon opened the door as Kiff backed up raising his gun. Starmon rushed in as some of the walkers also gave chase. Starmon passed Kotemon who took out his katana and with one slash took out two walkers. Kiff started shooting. Kotemon yelled, "Come on."

The backed up into the room were Starmon made the escape route. He blocked the door. Kotemon said, "Let's go."

Starmon responded, "I'm not going anyway until you three are gone."

Kiff dropped down first. Kotemon handed the bag down with Salamon inside it and dropped down next. Starmon came up dropping the machete as the walkers busted in. One walker slipped down cutting cut as he fell right into the machete. Starmon got out. They went around the side and came back to the front the entire herd had packed the church. Kotemon came around to the front and closed the main doors as the walkers came toward them. Kotemon and Kiff worked on sealing the walkers in with a plank of wood nailing it against the weak doors. The church was locked down. Kotemon went over to Starmon and asked, "Where did you go?"

Starmon said, "I needed to see it for myself. I didn't mean for that to happen."

At the hospital Emily was at the open elevator. Gina joined her and asked, "Were you thinking about suicide?"

Emily said, "I just wanted to be alone for a while. I know this isn't for me. It doesn't seem to fit you either."

Gina sighed, "I did what had to be done. When our leader lost his way I had to step up and take him out. It is never about love but gaining respect. With that you can guide others easier the pain won't hurt as much. That's why were so strict here, it's because we can't afford to lose anyone else. That's why I left things in your capable hands, but even you were a bit messy. I had to clean up your charade to save the cat...and I know you know her and maybe that's destiny. "

A cop asked, "Is that so? Because what I see is a little conspiracy between you two. I knew something was amiss ever since this stupid bitch arrived. We all knew this was crumbling down and all you needed was someone from the outside."

The cop came closer. Emily backed up against the corner. Gina raised her gun, "All I have to do is shot."

The cop continued to get closer, "And I have to do is yell. Take you down saying that it was provoked. And this mess dies over."

Gina backed up as well, "That won't fix anything."

The cop said, "Maybe not, but it's a start..."

The cop launched an attacked pushing her against the wall pushing the gun down. She kicked him in the gut and pulled out some low knees to the stomach area. He used his size to throttle her neck and push her against the wall. Emily grabbed him he back-smacked her to the ground. Gina raised her arms and pushed them down braking his group. She did another kick he stumbled towards the elevator. Gina yelled, "Emily!"

Emily got up and shoved the cop down the elevator.

Emily backed up and Gina said, "Good job."

Emily said, "No, I get it now, this is just a place that uses people. You feared those cops and you have me kill them. This isn't a way to survive but a deathtrap."

Gina said, "It's not like that at all. We have a duty to keep this place up and going."

Gina left. Emily saw a counter and slid in a pair of scissors into her incased arm.

Veemon returned to his group. The two tied up cops and everyone else saw him come back alone. The female cop asked, "Where is Spadamon?"

Veemon looked back, "Walkers got him. Thing is he told me this plan wouldn't work. I need to know from you two if it will."

The female nodded, "There's no way now..."

He pulled Scourge aside and whispered, "We could still go in with the stealth kills."

Scourge looked to the other cop and asked, "What about you, do you think this trade off will work."

The angered cop said, "Well Gina didn't like Spadamon that much anyway. Hell not to offend but none of us trusted that creature. There something wrong with ya if you go around being as honest as he said he was."

Scourge went back to Veemon and said, "We can still do this. We'll be ready if things get dicey."

They went out getting ready. Bearmon, Kumamon were on the roof. Kumamon looked down from his scope. Bearmon said, "Still feelin' down. You know that guy you killed in the church. Well it turns out I said I killed 'em. And maybe I should have, but I didn't. I thought it was too much to go that far. Maybe because mine mind is still back in the day when were young. Maybe it's that way for both of us. And maybe that's a good thing."

Kumamon said, "It is a good thing...for you. I can't go back. Not anymore and I think that's what's best for me."

Veemon was stopped by two cops. He stepped out of the car. One of them asked, "Who the hell are you?"

Veemon answered, "My name is Veemon and I have a proposal for you. You have two of our people. Blackgatomon and Emily, and we have two of your cops. All we want is a fair exchange."

The cop asked, "What are the cop's names?"

Veemon said, "Johnson and Bardose."

The cop asked, "Is Coronamon with you too?"

Veemon said, "Yeah..."

The cop said, "So he told you. How do we even know you have them?"

Veemon said, "I have friends that are close."

Kumamon spotted a walker on the ground and took the headshot. The looked up unable to see the group up above. Veemon asked, "So do we have a deal?"

The cop said, "I'll radio Gina..."

Veemon went in the hospital along with Scourge, Bearmon, Kumamon, Coronamon and the two hostage cops. They made their way up along with the two other cops. In the main hall Emily came out with Blackgatomon who woke up but was still in the stretcher. Veemon looked inside the window to see the all the cops waiting there with their guns. Gina said, "Holster your guns."

Into the radio. All the cops did. Veemon looked back, "Lower the guns too."

The creatures did as well as they went in to face off in this exchange. Gina said, "First our female cop for the black cat."

Scourge went over with the female cop as one of the cops carted over the Blackgatomon. Scourge went back and so did the cop. Gina went over personally with Emily as well as Veemon coming over with the male cop. The exchanged and Veemon said, "Good, now were out of here."

Veemon started to head back and Gina said, "We want Coronamon back..."

Veemon looked up and turned around. Veemon said, "That wasn't part of the deal."

Gina said, "He was with us. He and Spadamon...."

Veemon said, "Spadamon is dead...walkers got him."

The cops who were capture both nodded the male said, "It's true we saw it go down."

Gina said, "Damn...well, still Coronamon was never a part of your group."

Veemon said, "You don't own him. He's made up his mind..."

Coronamon said, "I'll go."

Emily cried, "...Don't."

Coronamon said, "It will be ok."

Coronamon walked across. Emily hugged him. Emily broke the hug and went up to Gina. Emily said with a still face, "I get it now."

She took out the scissors and stabbed her. A shot was then fired. An ill silence filled the room as Emily dropped to the floor dead. Scourge raised up a gun and fired shooting Gina right in the head.

The female cop said, "It was just between them. This doesn't have to end in a bloodbath."

Veemon looked down and said, "If anyone wants in...you could come with us..."

No cop or doctor took the offer. Scourge picked up Emily.

Guilmon arrived at the church seeing the walkers as trying to get out the doors. He slammed the truck against the entrance. Everyone from Guilmon's group got out and reunited with Kotemon, Kiff, Starmon and Salamon. Kotemon went up to Lena and said, "We learned that Emily is in a hospital and Blackgatomon with them as well. We should go."

Tara looked at the church and said, "Yeah let's blow this pop stand."

The entire group arrived at the hospital. They saw Veemon coming out first he was shaking his head in disappointment. Lena's expression dropped from happy to morning with grief within moments off seeing her dead in the arms of Scourge. Lena dropped down and Guilmon quickly went to support his wife. Scourge too feeling a pitting feeling as much of a father figure he saw himself actually being with Emily.

Coming out from the woods was Stitch. He followed another symbol making his way to the emptied out church. He went inside checking in a note he saw the Veemon had wrote it saying they were going to DC. Stitch smirked and even carried out a marry little laugh. He walked back outside and started to hike out. As soon as he left Patamon flew down landing on the church. He looked back seeing Spike also flying down carrying Jade with her. Spike sat against the edge of the church. Spike looked back up at Patamon and asked, "Where do you suppose he's heading?"

Patamon said, "I think I have an idea..."
