It was late afternoon in paradise, the sun was low on the horizon that accented the blue sky with an orange glow, that same sun also shot a ray of light across a sea of pristine sparkling water, and it that same sea was a speck of joy and contentment. A lone surfer merely stretched out on his white surfboard, relaxing after catching the last few breaking waves of the day. The surfer, named Cipher, was a black and white wolf with slight long blue hair that covered part of his face, he also wore long blue swim trunks.

A smile spread across Cipher's face, this was the life he knew was for him. It didn't get much better than this in paradise as the rays of the sun and a light breeze hit his face, sun, sea and surf. The evenings were his to enjoy on any day he wanted.

'Yep, it doesn't get much better than this.'

But unknown to the wolf he wasn't the only one in the water that day, he was sharing it with two other wolves, wolves of the sea for that matter.

Just off the distance from the lone surfer, two of the alpha predators of the sea watched with equal curiosity. They've both seen this surfer out on the open water plenty of times, not once however did they ever paid him much mind. Till now.

Following the wolf's movement with her red eyes, one black and red sandbar shark with white hair, that of the name Nadia, sighed in boredom. If there was one thing she didn't like to see was a pattern, they just not...natural, and this wolf has been living a pattern for the last week. It was starting to get annoying.

"Hey, Nerissa, I got an idea. Wanna hear it?" Nadia asked with a mischievous tone in her voice as she spoke underneath the water, looking to her friend on her left, and deadpanning at the day-dreaminess in the other sandbar shark's light-green eyes. Just as routine as the blue wolf, Nerissa had been acting funny every time the surfer was near by, and this was more annoying to Nadia. "Nerissa! Are you even listening to me?!"

Nerissa, a brown and pink sandbar shark, wearing a purple bikini with light green trim and had brown hair with purple strip and purple highlights on the ends, continued to look at the blue haired wolf until a loud noise snapped her out of it. "Huh what?" Nerissa asked started out of daydream by Nadia yelling. "Sorry, what was you saying Nadia," Nerissa embrassrestly said as she turned to look at her friend.

"Un-freaking-believable," Nadia growled as she crossed her arms underneath her breasts that were hidden behind a red and white trimmed two-piece bikini top. If this kept up, Nerissa would sooner run into the reef before she paid attention to something important. "Grah, forget it, just follow me and pay a-freaking-tettion. Okay, Nerissa?"

"Yea~, I don't think so," Nerissa deadpanned with a raised eyebrow, "The last time I followed you," Nerissa said with a shiver as she rubbed her upper arms. "I don't even want to remember that day." Nerissa said shaking her head to forget about 'that day'. "This is the last time I just follow you. Tell me what your plan is, Nadia," Nerissa demanded as she pointed to her friend.

Nadia stared back at Nerissa with a flat look on her face. Granted that for once Nerissa was actually putting her foot down, she could've picked a better time to do it though. "Fine gezz," Nadia groaned as she began to dive underneath the water. "I was thinking we had a little fun is all. You know, scare Wolfie boy over there before heading home. C'mon, we haven't done anything fun all week! It's boring."

Nerissa eyes wide in shock at Nadia's plan. "Are you crazy!? We are not going to prank him!" Nerissa yelled at her friend with blush. Nerissa looked back at the wolf as he swam towards a incoming swell. "It's won't end well trust me Nadia."

"Pfft, you're just saying that because you have a crush on him," Nadia said with a sight eye roll as she glanced towards the wolf continuing through the surf. She should've guess that Nerissa would have quickly turned the idea down as fast as she did. "Look, there's no harm in a little fun right? We wait for him to get ready to call it in and we just spook him with our dorsal-fins. Don't act like we haven't done that before."

Nerissa blushed before looking away from her friend glaze. "I don't know, Nadia, it's different," Nerissa said as she looked over to the wolf as he started to surf a 20 foot wave. "He's having a good time. Let's just leave him alone," Nerissa said meekly as she started to swim away.

"Which is why I said we'll wait until he get's ready to call it in," Nadia said as she swam to be right in front of Nerissa so she couldn't see the wolf behind her. "Yeah sure he'll be scared, but think about how much this will make his day."

"How, would a prank like that make his day?" Nerissa asked with her hands on her hips as she raised an eyebrow. "That just make him not come back here anymore." Nerissa said with a sad sigh.

"Don't you get it?" Nadia restored with her own raised eyebrow while she had her arms crossed over her chest. "Think about it, he would have a kick-ass story to tell to all of his friends. He would have a surfer legend to tell to everyone! We would be him a favor."

Nerissa looked down to the seafloor away from her friend's red eyes. "Fine," Nerissa sighed as her shoulders slumped a bit, still against the very idea. "You better hope nothing bad happens," Nerissa said as she back up into Nadia red eyes.

"If you stick to the plan, nothing bad will happen Nerissa," Nadia said in a straight tone of voice as she moved to place her hands on Nerissa's shoulders, smiling towards her. "I promise Nerissa. It's just a little harmless fun, nothing more okay?"

"'You' better hope so," Nerissa said, moving Nadia's hands off her shoulders before she started to swim for the surface. Nerissa breached the surface and waited for her friend to join her. 'This better turn out better than your other plans Nadia, I don't want him to get hurt,' Nerissa thought to herself as she watch the blue hair wolf finish surfing a wave.

Once Nadia breached the surface of the calm water, she began to wickedly smile at the simple idea in her head. As she continued to watch the wolf, she made sure to plan everything out so nothing would go wrong. Poseidon knows she wouldn't ever hear the end of it if the wolf would get hurt, so better off making sure everything was in placed.

"Alright you scaredy-catfish," Naida joked as she looked over towards Nerissa, who--not surprisingly--was paying the wolf more attention than she was her. 'Yeah, if anyone gonna get him hurt, it'll be her,' Naida sighed in her head before she slapped her tail next to Nerissa to steal her attention. "Listen, we just have to wait for the surf to be calm enough for him to handle, okay?"

"Okay, sheesh did you have to use your tail?" Nerissa rhetorically asked with a slight whine. "Just say which side you taking and signal when to go," Nerissa said as looked back at the wolf.

Rolling her eyes, Nadia drifted in front of Nerissa with a flat look on her face. "Nerissa, if you like this guy so much, why don't you just...Eh forget it. I'm on the right side, you take left. We'll just circle around him until he see our fins okay? Don't run into his board, and don't get caught underneath it. Sounds good?"

"Ok?" Nerissa said in a confused tone as she cocked her head to the side. 'Hmm, what Nadia was trying to say,' Nerissa thought to herself as she waited for Nadia's signal. 'Maybe she was saying that I should ask him out.' Nerissa blushed at the thought of asking the wolf surfer out. She shook her head, 'There's no way a guy like him would say yes,' Nerissa thought with a sigh.

With Nerissa's consent, Naida nudged her head over towards the wolf before diving underneath the water again. 'Why did I just say that?! We don't even know this guy...great, now I'm having second thoughts. Thank you Nerissa.' Once at the seafloor, Naida looked up to find that the surfer was sitting on his board like he was either waiting for the next wave or thinking about turning in.

'Come on already, make a move already.' With nothing else to do, Nadia awaited for the surfer to make some kind of move to call it in for the day so she could give him a story to end all stories. "Geez, don't you got better things to do surfer-mutt? Turn in already, go hang out with friends, something."

As Cipher ran a hand through his blue hair a wide grin appeared on his face, that last wave had been the best of the day in his mind, and he was glad he had the fortune to drop into it. He would certainly continue surfing if he could hit more waves like that, but his grin was soon replaced with a frown as he noticed the sun was now moving down behind the horizon.

"Oh man, what a bummer," Cipher flatly stated to no one but himself, surfing at night wasn't an option with no light to see what he was doing. 'It would be a smart idea to call it quits now,' he thought as he moved to lay down on his surfboard to start padding for shore.

Back underneath the water's surface, Nadia noticed that the wolf was paddling towards the shore, signifying that it was her chance. "Yes, now I just got to beat him back to Nerissa," she said with a small laugh as she made a beeline towards her friend. As she continued to rapidly swim, Naida spotted Nerissa simply circling around in boredom. "Hey Nerissa, Nerissa, it's now or never! You ready?"

"Yea, let's get this over with," Nerissa said with a sigh in a dejected tone. 'I really hope after this he does come back,' Nerissa thought as she and Nadia swam toward the blue haired wolf.

'I hope Nerissa isn't going to be like that after this,' Nadia thought to herself as she followed Nerissa before moving to the right side of the wolf. Once she was sure the water was calm and easy, Nadia looked over towards Nerissa and gave her a nod, telling her that the plan was a go before swimming upwards towards the water surface.

Slowly, Nerissa let her dorsal fin breach the surface of the water as they go closer to the wolf surfer. Both, Nadia and Nerissa slowly circle wide around the surfer but slowly closing in around him.

Cipher froze the moment he caught sight of a black fin black break the face of the water in front of him, immediately pulling his arms from the water, and moving to a kneeling position on his surfboard. The black wolf followed it with his eyes only to catch a glimpse of a shadow beneath the water of the creature of it belonged to, he only knew of one sea creature who would sow tier fin and circle the way it did; a shark.

"O-Oh great," Cipher spoke as a slight amount of fear started to creep up his spine. He followed the sharks fin until he couldn't turn his head any further, but as he was about to move his head back around to follow the first sharks fin, that's when he caught another shark's fin in the corner of his eye. He was surrounded. 'So not cool...'

Naida couldn't help but let out a small laugh when she heard the wolf's fearful voice, knowing it wouldn't be long before he'd look for a way out. After showing her fin again before going back into the deep, Naida spotted Nerissa making her pass. "Hey Nerissa, think he had enough?" Nadia asked in a mocking tone of voice before she again resurfaced, making much more of a splash with her tail doing so. "And you almost passed this up, hah! Maybe if you play it smooth, you could get his phone number."

Nerissa was getting a bit dizzy from swimming around the surfer."Y-yea, I think he had enough," Nerissa said honestly. Nerissa shook her head trying to clear the stars she was seeing from her vision. "Let's just get out of here before anything goes wrong." Nerissa said as accidently turn towards the surfer.

"Hold on, hold on, got one more in me. This is gonna be funny," Nadia said as she began swimming deeper into the water, just about to the seafloor before breaking straight up to the surface. Nadia gave her tail one more good flap as she breached up from the water's surface right in front of the wolf, shooting the frighten surfer a wide and toothy grin.

Cipher was shocked to see the black shark jumping out of the water and having those sharp white teeth being shown in his direction, so much so that the sight had him almost screaming like a girl as he slipped from his board, only to land in the water where the sharks had the most control. As more panic started to set in, Cipher thrashed about in the water, trying to desperately to get above the water and back to his board before the sharks decided to make a meal out of him.

The wolf wasn't the only one that was thrashing about as Nadia held her sides, laughing her head off at the expression on the wolf's face. "Haha...Nerissa! Did you see that? It was too hilarious! Okay, okay, Now we can go home."

Nerissa looked at Nadia is disbelief at the stunt she just pulled. "What is wrong with you!?" Nerissa yelled out as she looked at Nadia. "You could have gave him a heart attack or worst!" she said as she pointed back to where the surfer was.

"Eh, c'mon, it was funny," Nadia said with another laugh as she backed away from Nerissa, not fazed by her yelling. Nadia then looked back up to the surfer to see him frantically getting back onto his board to beeline straight for the coastline. "Look see? He's fine, and now he has a story to tell to all of his surfer buddies. Now come on, I'm hungry after that."

Nerissa turned back at the surfer to see that he's trying to get back on his surfboard. "I swear my friend is a hammerhead," Nerissa said as she facepalmed, "Let's just go before this day gets any worse." Nerissa started swimming after Nadia, despite wanting to stay to make sure that the wolf was really alright.

Cipher's heart was pounding a mile a minute as he made a beeline straight for the shore to escape the two sharks which had been circling him. If he could get to the shore he would be safe from the two predators, but as he sat up on his board to check if the sharks were still following him, his hand slipped out from under him causing him lose his balance, falling back onto the board. This wouldn't have been a problem if the wolf caught himself before hand, but luck wasn't on the wolf's side as his head stuck the end of the board, knocking him semi unconscious.

Nadia, who was following Nerissa back to their grotto, stopped when she felt something change in the water. Turning around she saw something even she didn't like. "Oh shit, things went south," Nadia said as she quickly began swimming over to the surfer wolf.

As she got closer, things went from bad to worse when she saw the wolf struggling to stay afloat in the water. Quickly snapping to do what she needed to do, Nadia swam up towards the surfer, first getting his head out of the water before she moved most of his upper body in the water.

The situation only gotten worse when she found the wolf barely hanging onto consciousness. "Shit, shit, fucking shit!" Nadia shouted as she began to panic. She just wanted some fun, not to nearly kill the guy. "Nerissa, get your tail-fin up here now, please?!"

The color from Nerissa face drained as she looked up to see the unconscious surfer. Nerissa quickly breach the surface and swam over to Nadia. "Quick, um which is closer our place or the beach?" Nerissa asked frantically as she helped Nadia get the surfer on his back onto his surfboard..

"Damnit, I should've... Our place, we'll be able to treat any minor head-injuries," Naida said as she took one side of the broad, wrapping her arms underneath the wolf's arms to get ready to lift the wolf on his board.. "Now help me get him there so we can fix this mess."

Nerissa quickly nodded and swam over to the other side of the surfer, hooking her arms around the back of the black wolf's knees. "Ok, on three. One, Two, Three." Both Nerissa and Nadia grunted as they manage to get him on his surfboard.

"Come on, let's get him out of here," Nadia said before she began pushing the surfer with Nerissa's help, somehow getting him to go the direction of their home. 'Crap on a clownfish, I just should've listen to Nerissa. I could have just left him alone. This sucks!' Nadia continued the self-inflicted beating that she was mentally giving herself for pushing the prank too far.

"Yea," Nerissa said quickly as she followed along. 'Fuck! Why the hell did I agreed to do that!' Nerissa thought to herself as she beat herself up for getting someone hurt with their pranks. 'I just hope that he ok, If he wakes up from this.' Nerissa though hopeful as they swam home.

As Nadia and Nerissa continued to push the wolf towards their home, Nadia kept with her constant mental beating of herself. All she wanted was just a little fun, that's it. She couldn't ever hope for the surfer, or any surfer for that matter, to get hurt because of their...her pranks.

Looking down the watery horizon, Nadia spotted the rocky formation of their grotto, increasing her speed so they would reach it faster. "Awesome, we're almost there," she said in a small cheer, more than glad to do whatever she could to end this nightmare.

"Hurry up, he might have breathe in some water from when he went under." Nerissa said as she swam ahead of Nadia. 'Please be ok, Please be ok!' Nerissa thought to herself in a little mantra as they swam into their grotto.

Nerissa's words only served to add to the worries that Nadia was feeling, causing her to bit down on her lip. "Yeah, let's hope that didn't happen," Nadia said as they reached towards the smooth stone edge shore of their home. Nadia swam around the unconscious surfer so she could hopped out of the water, turning around as she sat on the edge, and wrapped her arms underneath the wolf's. "Here, help me pull him up Nerissa."

Nerissa climbed up to the edge and wrapped her arms under Nadia's. After, a couple of grunts they manage to get him on land. "Nadia, check to see If his breathing and if he has a pulse too." Nerissa said as she took his surfboard out the water. Nerissa ran into the grotto to get the first aid kit. 'Poseidon help us please,' Nerissa prayed to herself as she grabbed the first aid kit.

"Gotcha," Naida said as she moved to the wolf's left side, placing two of her fingers on his jugular vein, and moving her head over the wolf's opened mouth. 'Okay, he got a pulse, but...why is he not breathing? Unless...' "Shit Nerissa, he has a pulse, but he isn't breathing. For the love of...I hate it when you're right."

"Right now, I hate being right." Nerissa said in a slight panic as she ran back to the wolf. Nerissa tossed Nadia the first aid kit and checked for his pulse by his wrist. "Nadia..." Nerissa said as the color drain from her face. "I don't feel his pulse." Nerissa moved from his wrist to his neck and checked again. Nerissa sighed in relieve, "Ok, I can feel it but it weak."

"Please don't fucking scare me like that," Nadia said with her own sigh of relief before she went back to preparing everything to treat the wolf. "We need to get him breathing again, you remember those CPR lessons right?" she asked Nerissa, knowing that it was going to take the two of them to get the wolf going again.

"Y-yea," Nerissa said with a blush. Nerissa rest her hands on his chest. Her blush increased as she felt his muscular chest under her hand. 'He's ripped...' Nerissa shook her clearing her head and started her chest compressions. She counted thirty in her head and check to see if he was breathing. 'Still not breathing,' she thought to herself.

Nerissa open his mouth and pulled his tongue forward. Nerissa face blush bright red at the how big his tongue was. 'I knew canines had some tongues on them but...why am I thinking like this?!' She put his tongue back and leaned his head back a little to open his airways. She wrapped her hands around his muzzle leaving his nose uncovered. Nerissa put her mouth over his nose and did two quick breaths watching his chest expanded. She then waited a few seconds before starting the chest compressions again.

After, three cycles of CPR the wolf began coughing up water. Nerissa quickly turned him onto his side so the water can't get back in. "Oh, thank Poseidon," Nerissa said as patted his back while he coughed up more water. "You had us scared for awhile," Nerissa said looking over to Nadia with a relieved smile.

Cipher was still in a daze as he coughed and sputtered, clearing his lungs to receive that much needed oxygen he needed to survive after being starved of it for a short period of time. His head was also pounding something fierce, he tried to piece together the events of the last few minutes, but all he could remember was arriving at a beach.

"Ugh, w-what happened?" Cipher asked, questioning his predicament, and having slight inkling that he wasn't alone. The sounds the wolf heard were muffled at best, from his own voice and the voice of the people he was with, but in opening his eyes as the blurriness in them faded, he soon slowly pieced together the events as he was staring directly at the black shark from earlier.

"About time he woke up," Nadia said with a sigh before moving towards the right side of the wolf with ice pack in hand. "Any longer and I thought he would be chum meat. Now hold still, got to get that lump to go down," she said as she pressed the ice pack to the wolf's head and began wrapping it their with some spare bandages they had. "Hey you hear me surfer wolf? Say something already."

But Cipher didn't sit still as he scrambled away from the shark, pushing away from her with his legs which only had him backing up into the second shark who was only behind him. Fear again entered his mind, being this close to the two sharks had him screaming the top of his lungs as his mind ran wild, imagining their sharp white teeth tearing into his flesh while he was still alive.

"S-Stay away from me," Cipher shouted as his face turned slightly white at the thoughts, before he again tried to get away from the two sharks who probably dragged him to their lair to have him for dinner. He wasn't going to stick around to find out either.

"Hold on there surfer mutt," Naida said as she held her hands up in a defensive manner to show that she didn't mean any harm. At least any more harm than she caused. "Your paws decided to turn on you, making you hit your head against your board. We're just cleaning up your wipeout."

"Y-yea, if we wasn't around the area when you fell, you would have died," Nerissa said somberly as she looks over at the scared surfer.

"I-I don't believe you," Cipher started as she backed into the nearest wall of the grotto and visibly started to shake from fear before he covered his head. "Oh man, I-I'm going to get eaten by sharks," he mumbled to himself, hoping this was some kind of bad dream he'd soon wake up from. This couldn't be real, they were sharks, there was no reason for them to help him other to lull him into a false sense of security, only then to show their true nature.

"Just stay calm dude," Nadia as she crossed her arms underneath her chest in a small huff. "We're sharks yeah, but that don't mean we eat surfers. Especially ones that have fur all over their bodies. Now why don't you just sit down so we can help you out, eh mate?" Nadia asked, not liking the way the wolf was freaking out over them being sharks.

Cipher didn't have many options, he could escape, but he had no idea where he even was and if he did manage it he would surely be hunted down by the two if this whole place was surrounded by water. On the other hand, he could let them help him, but he still didn't fully know their intentions and by the sound of things the black shark was becoming impatient.

"A-Alright," Cipher spoke after mulling his options in his head, his feeling said he was going to die no matter what he did, might as well chose the lesser of the two evils and get it over with, "I-i'll let you help me."

"Thank you, I'll try and restrain myself while helping you," Nadia said with a slight eye roll, pointing over towards the ground to tell the wolf to sit down. "Now why don't you be a good boy and sit still so I can get that head of yours on ice. Nerissa why don't you go grab some drinking water for him?"

"Okay, and please try to be nice. His already scared of us I don't want to make this any worse for him." Nerissa said as she walked away from them to get the water.

Naida watched Nerissa go up to the second level of their grotto home to fetch the water for the wolf. Once she was gone, Naida let out a small sigh, still blaming herself for what happened. "You going to sit or what, surfer wolf?" she asked looking over her shoulder to the black wolf behind her. "The longer you make this, the longer it draws out."

With a short sigh Cipher left stone wall he had huddled against to slowly walk over to Nadia, the wolf had also ceased most of his tremblings, but he was still weary of the sharks fearsome appearance as he moved to sit down in front of her. But there was also a slight attraction there which he couldn't explain as he caught a glimpse of her red eyes.

"Cat still got your tongue huh?" Nadia said as she again started to place the ice pack against the side of the wolf's head that slammed on his board. "Fine, you want to play hard to get? Let's start small, my name is Nadia, how's that?"

Cipher sucked in a quick breath through his teeth the instant the ice pack was placed on his temple, the pain was slight but it did sting the instant the coldness hit it. "Oh, that's a nice name," Cipher started after Nadia had told him her name as not to be rude, and returning the gesture, "Mines Cipher, but I guess you can call me Cy for short, most of my friends do."

"So you're counting me, a bloodthirsty shark, a friend already?" Nadia joked as she finished securing the ice pack to Cipher's head. "And thanks by the way, I rarely hear anyone say that about my name. Especially since I am a shark and all."

"Heh, your kind does have a fearsome reputation, can you blame me for freaking out?" Cipher said with a faint smile, turning his head slightly to look at Nadia who was attempting to lighten the mood. "But I guess you all, by the way your friend is called Nerissa?"

"Yeah, that's her name," Naida said looking up to the second level of the grotto, wondering what was taking her such a long time. "Speaking of which, just where is she? It shouldn't take that long for her to get some water."

"I got it, I got it! Sheesh when did you ever become a nagging nancy?" Nerissa asked as she walked down the stairs with couple bottles of water in her hands. Nerissa walked over towards Cipher and held a bottle water toward him. "Here you go," she said as she handed a bottle to Cipher.

Cipher looked up to Nerissa as he reached out to take the water bottle from her, this was the first time he saw her other than her fin and she looked to be pretty cute, both of them were, but he didn't dare say it out loud having just met them. "T-Thanks," Cipher spoke, taking a bit longer than usual to gaze at Nerissa before breaking eye contact, and hoping she hadn't caught him staring as he moved to unscrew the water bottle to quench his thirst.

"Y-you're welcome," Nerissa said with a faint blush on her cheeks. 'He's kinda cute,' Nerissa thought to herself as she sat down facing Cipher. "So, how do you feel right now?" Nerissa asked testing to see it he's really ok.

"I'm fine I guess, a slight headache but other than that I'm fine," Cipher responded truthfully, feeling no adverse effects from hitting his head, before taking a swig of the water which was a much needed refresher. "Oh, I didn't thank you two for saving my life," he praised as he looked between the two sharks.

"Don't worry your head about it too much," Nadia said as she leaned against the stone wall while looked out towards the deep crystal-blue water at the entrance of their home. "Just next time you decide to go surfing, have a buddy. You know, like the buddy-system, it save lives you should know."

"I just like the solitude of the surf, you know? But I'll keep that in mind," Cipher said in a low tone of voice, thinking that he could've died today if no one around to save him like the sharks did. Nadia's words really put it into perspective for him as his ears drooped a small amount, no one would've known until it was far too late to do anything.

Nerissa noticed the change in Cipher's tone. She gave Nadia a deadpan stare, mouthing 'Look at what you did.' before looking back at Cipher. "So, from what you told me you might have a mild concussion," Nerissa said, trying to get rid of the small gray cloud over Cipher's head.

Nadia returned Nerissa's stare, adding silent voice to hers saying, 'This is just as much your fault as mine,' before turning back to the wolf. "Listen, that was a mighty blow you took mate. You sure you alright? We would take you to a doctor to get you checked, but with it being night soon, and the knot on your head, I kinda don't want to take any chances."

"No, I'm fine, really," Cipher reassured the two sharks, "I don't feel dizzy or sick or anything like that," he added as he turned to look at Nadia, but her expression said she didn't believe him. When he turned back to Nerissa to persuade her of the same thing she also had the same expression. Arguing with them about it probably would get him no where, he was stuck there until morning with the both of them keeping an eye on him.

"Sorry Cipher, but I have to agree with Nadia. We'll take you to the hospital in the morning. But, since you might have a mild concussion it best that you stay up for the night just in case," she said regretfully.

Nadia let out a small sigh as she kicked off the stone wall. "Then I guess I'll go catch some dinner," she said as she walked over towards the edge of the grotto with her arms still crossed. "Nerissa, keep surfer boy up until I get back. Okay?"

"H-hold up," Nerissa said frantically get up after Nadia. "We should at least try to see if he wouldn't mind eating what we eat." Nerissa said as she caught up with her. Nerissa moved some of her hair out of her face. "Um Cipher," Nerissa said as she looked back at Cipher. "You wouldn't mind having some fish for dinner, would you?" Nerissa asked with a small smile.

"What kind of fish?" Cipher asked as he looked over to the two sharks, honestly he didn't mind eating fish, but he wanted know what species they were going to catch before Nadia set out on a wasted journey if he didn't have a taste for the tape of fish she intended to catch.

"I dunno," Nadia started as she rubbed the back of her head, smoothing out her wet white hair a bit. "I tend to eat as I go, so it's whatever I find on the way back." Nadia found it somewhat frustrating that she had to actually think about what she normally gets. "Best bet that's it is gonna be some tuna or maybe some shellfish. I hope you're not too picky."

"Oh, umm, tuna is fine," Cipher answered as he rubbed the back of his head, hoping that he wasn't being too much of a bother. Honestly, he didn't care exactly what he ate, especially since the shark was willing to go get it for him. "But whatever you can find is alright."

"Alright fine, I'll see what I can find for you two," Nadia said as she turned her head back around to the bright blue moon that was reflecting off the water. "Nerissa, be sure to keep him awake. So don't tell him any of your boring stories while I'm gone." Naida began laughing as she dove into the water, quickly swimming back out to the open sea to catch dinner.

As Nadia swam away, Nerissa kissed her hand turned and slapped her ass towards Nadia. A smug smile grew on Nerissa's face, happy that she was able to get the last say in that manner. As she walked back to Cipher, but the smile turned into an embarrassed one, blushing at how childish she acted in front of the wolf.

Cipher looked on at Nerissa with a slight blank expression, finding her behavior to be slightly odd with the way she slapped her backside towards Nadia. "So," he started, breaking the awkward silence between them. "Are you two a couple?" he asked, again scratching his head after he had asked such a forward question, thinking it must've been a reason for how she was acting.

Nerissa's embarrassed smile left her face as it changed into a look of annoyance. 'I hate that question,' Nerissa thought to herself as she sighed. "No, we are not a couple. We've just been friends since childhood." Nerissa said in a monotone voice. "Don't worry, Cipher you're not the first and you won't be the last," she continued to say, waving it off his accidental faux pas.

"Oh sorry, I just thought," Cipher said with a sheepish grin on his face while he continued scratching the back of his head nervously, quickly apologizing for his misstep in assuming that the two sharks were a couple. "I didn't mean anything by it, I've just never seen a girl act like that around another one where I come from."

"So, I take it that you're not from around here?" Nerissa asked as she sat down next to Cipher. "Cause if that's the case, you've haven't met a few girls around here," she said with a small laugh and blush before she realized how that could've came off wrong. "Oh I mean, you know, with a little sass. Kinda like Nadia...I guess."

"Oh no, I'm not," Ciper again responded truthfully, "I'm from a big noisy city that's no where near the sea or beaches, most of the girls there wouldn't be seen dead with a guy like me. I'm too scruffy for their tastes," Cipher admitted as a short nervous laugh left his lips, remembering the few times he had asked out a girl out on a date only to be given the cold shoulder. "So, I just come out here to forgot all of it, I like it here, it calms me down and helps me forget," he added in a positive tone, trying not to seem like a loser in front of Nerissa.

"Yea, the waves can just wash away any problems you have." Nerissa said with a smile as she moved her hand like a wave. "So, how long you plan on staying around anyways?" Nerissa asked curiously.

"It was just for the weekend," Cipher started sadly, being reminded of the fact that he only had two and a half days of free time before he was once back in the rat race. "I would've travel back home tomorrow, but don't get me wrong, it's been a fun two days," he continued, seeming content with the free time he had to himself. "I just didn't plan on meeting two cute sharks," the wolf finished before he turned his head towards Nerissa with a light smile now on is face.

Nerissa quickly looked away from Cipher as she blushed. 'He called me cute,' Nerissa dreamly thought to herself. "It's kinda funny how we're now cute," Nerissa said as she looked back at Cipher with a faint blush still on her cheeks. "When you was scared shitless of us awhile ago." Nerissa said as a small smile graced her lips.

Cipher moved his hand back to his head again to scratch it. "Heh, well, wouldn't anyone if they were suddenly surrounded by two sharks that might be looking for a meal?" he asked in a rhetorical manner with a hint of nervousness again, and not really knowing the right way to speak to a girl, especially a shark one. "I honestly think sharks are pretty interesting, I just never thought I'd be talking to one who just rescued me." 'Smooth moves Cipher, way to make yourself look like an idiot!'

"What, you expect us to leave you out there. We may be sharks but we do have hearts," Nerissa said proudly as she looked over at Cipher. "And speaking of sharks, I doubt you want raw fish to eat." Nerissa said as she got up from her seat. "So, you wanna help me get a fire going?" she asked as she gave Cipher her hand.

"Oh sure," Cipher stated as he took Nerissa's hand to be helped up by her, probably helping starting a fire could help take his mind off the last few minutes. "Hey Nerissa, you can call me Cy if you want to that is," he said as he followed Nerissa to a scattered piece of driftwood which she picked up before she handed it to him.

"Um, okay Cy," Nerissa said as she handed him a couple parts of driftwood. After twenty minutes, they had the bonfire ready. Small pops and cracks from the burning driftwood was the only sound that broke the silent in the grotto. Nerissa just watched the embers of the fire float away as she tried to think of something to talk about.

As Cipher warmed his hands next to the crackling camp fire they had made, he looked over to Nerissa to she her staring vacantly into it. Again his mind wandered back to how he must've screwed up another first impression. Nerissa certainly seemed like a nice girl for a shark, not like all the horror stories he heard about them attacking unsuspecting beach gowers on vacation, and here Cipher was with his inexperience talking women with had probably burned another bridge.

"Nerissa," Cipher started again with a slight sigh, breaking the silence between them. "I can understand if you think I'm a loser, I've had the people say that half my life, and I wouldn't blame you for it if you did," Cipher said as he turned to stare into the fire as a few more bad memories entered his head which made him feel shame and humiliation. "I'll be out of here by morning then you can get on with your life..."

"Cy, you're not a loser," Nerissa said as she turned to look at Cipher. "From what I can tell you're a great catch, no pun intended," she said with a chuckle as she looking into Cipher's deep blue eyes. "And anyone that tells you otherwise isn't worth your time," Nerissa said honestly.

Cipher didn't responded at first as he continued to stare into the fire, he was too lost in thought about his past to respond. When he saw Nerissa's light smile turning into a frown out of the corner of his eye, he turned to look at her so he put her concerns about him to rest. However Cipher was stopped when he saw Nadia finally returning from the pool entrance from where she first left with the fish she set out to catch.

As Nadia came out of the water, with her catch strung up by a line of seaweed, she spotted the strong fire the two were able to make and began walking over towards them. "You two played nice while I was gone right?" she asked the two others through the fish tail that was still in her mouth from her last meal. "Anyway, I hope you got the gut for a big haul cause Poseidon was nice to us tonight."

"Nadia, you're a true fatass." Nerissa said as she shook her head, "You couldn't wait to get back here to eat what you caught?" she asked with a sigh as Nadia sat down. "So what did you catch anyways?"

Nadia throw her head back to swallow the remaining of the fish before she responded to Nerissa. "Look who's talking, not even two minutes back, and you're already asking about food. Oh and smacking your fat ass while I'm swimming away is childish, Nessy," Nadia teased back at Nerissa as she stuck her tongue at the shark. "I even said I eat as I go, you know that."

Nerissa looked shocked that Nadia knew about how loud the slap was but she let it slide. "My ass is not fat...It plump," Nerissa said with a blush on her face, glancing over towards Cipher quickly. "I know that but, I was hoping you'll be courteous and wait till you got back," she said with a sigh, "But, don't worry about it. I'll have to get few things you think you could stay up with Cipher. Knowing you the 'itis is kicking in," Nerissa said with a smug smile as she left the bonfire.

A blush came on Nadia's face as she hated every time Nerissa brings up that one time she fell asleep after eating her fill of a school of tuna. "I don't get the Itis!" Nadia shouted up towards Nerissa as she made her way up to the second floor of the grotto. "And what am I supposed to do with all this food in the meantime?!"

When no answer came back Nadia blew a small huff into her wet white hair before glancing over towards the wolf on the ground. "Hey Cipher, hold this for a sec," Nadia said as she handed the large haul of tuna and other seafood to the black wolf.

Cipher looked towards Nadia and took the large amount of seafood without question before he saw her walk off to walk further into the grotto, the fish he was handed didn't look very appetizing as they were so he assumed she was going to retrieve a few items to gut and clean them so they were more edible for a creature like himself.

Nadia quickly returned back into the main room of the grotto with a dry brown tarp in her arms and a bucket filled with fresh water wrapped in her tail. Once she was in front of the fire again, Nadia laid out the tarp and placed the bucket on one of the edges. "Alright, time to clean the fish for ya. Don't need to get you sick," she said as she took the haul away from Cipher. "So, how much of this will you eat anyway?"

"I don't know, probably most of it," Cipher responded as he watched Nadia pick up one of the fish, only plunge her sharp claw into the belly of it to start removing its innards. "I haven't eaten since breakfast just because of swimming cramps, especially in the ocean. But I doubt that's much of a problem for you, huh?"

"No, not really," Nadia said as she sat the gutted fish down to repeat the process with the next one. "Us sharks eat like twelve times a day, and that's not counting mating season," she continued to say as she grabbed a crawfish to plunge it straight in the bucket of water.

"Twelve times," Cipher started in slight surprise at what Nadia said. 'How does she eat that many times a day and have a body like that,' he thought to himself as he took an extended look of Nadia's sleek and toned body, there had to be a payoff to eating that much and also having a body like she did. "H-how do you stay so...so fit?" the wolf suddenly blurted out, not really thinking about his words at the time.

Nadia began brightly blushing at the wolf's sudden, and blurted, question, turning her head so not to be caught with the blush. "W-what are you talking about," she shattered in a low tone of, keeping her eyes locked onto the floor. "We're sharks, if you haven't be able to tell. Basically we're swimming twenty-four hours of the day. Hell, I barely get three hours of sleep before I have to go out to burn some more energy."

Cipher was taken aback somewhat by what Nadia was currently telling him, he was learning more about sharks from her than he ever would from a textbook. but when he caught a small glimpse of Nadia's blush he returned to his earlier nervousness which had him turning his head away from her. "T-That's um, an unfortunate circumstance you have to live with," he said in a nervous manner, where he really didn't know the right thing to say. 'Me and my big mouth.'

"Yeah, it gets in the way some times," Nadia said as she went back to gutting and cleaning the fish so Cipher wouldn't get sick from eating something he shouldn't have. She couldn't blame the wolf from asking such a question, since sometimes even she has to wonder about it, but how was she supposed to take it. "Listen Cipher, sorry for acting a bit cold to you. Today has been...eventful."

"O-oh yeah, it has," Cipher started in a slightly low tone of voice, "I-I can't blame you for that, if I hadn't been so clumsy we wouldn't be here, and I wouldn't worry about it, I get it back home any way," he said with a short sigh as he ears remained in their lowered position.

Today had been eventful, Cipher was now wishing he hadn't slipped off his board so the sharks didn't have to go out of there way to save him, only to find out how terrible he was with talking to opposite gender. If fate had been kinder to him, they all would've probably been on their way with the wolf scared out of his skin, and the sharks finding the prank they pulled the highlight of their day.

"Oh come on, I didn't mean it like that," Nadia said, trying to get the wolf out of his funk, and still taking the blame for everything that happened. Hell, if she just had listened to Nerissa, they wouldn't be in this mess. "Okay so today hasn't been the best of days, but that's no reason to act all depressed right? I mean," Nadia started as she wiped her hands clean of the fish guts on the tarp, getting up to walk over to Cipher, and sitting down right next to him. "You still can get back up on your board to surf right?"

"I don't know," Cipher started, looking away from Nadia and now not having the confidence to even look her in the eyes. "I mean I could try, but after today I think I can only manage that silly surf board game they have in the arcades," he said with a short sigh before he continued, his self confidence still dwindinglin as he wallowed in his self pity. "And I'm probably scaring all the good fish away for you by even being in the bay."

Nadia snapped her jaw at the wolf's sudden low self-esteem, being reminded about how Nerissa was when they were younger. "Are you serious?" Nadia questioned, suddenly whipping around, and placing her hands on Cipher's shoulders to push him down to his back. Nadia gazed downward towards Cipher's blue eyes, becoming angered with the look of sadness in them. "Please tell me you're joking right now? You're gonna give up on something that you are really good at just cause of a little prank that went too far?!"

A moment of silence came over the two as Nadia continued to glare into Cipher's eyes, gripping lightly at his shoulders out of frustration of hearing the wolf beat himself up. "Quit being a coward already," she spat after Cipher seemed like he wasn't able to think of anything to say. "I don't care if you don't believe me, but life don't work like that. No one likes a self-lother. So stop it already. It is not your fault."

"Nadia stop It!" Nerissa yelled out as she ran over to them dropping the cooler she was carrying. "What the hell gotten into you?" Nerissa questioned as she pulled Nadia off of Cipher. "I can't," Nerissa stop what she was saying when she saw the tears rolling down Nadia face. "N-Nadi you," 'You're crying,' Nerissa finish in her head as she saw Nadia wipe away her tears.

Nadia turned around as she wiped away the last of her tears, not even realizing when she started to cry. "Sorry about that Cipher," she mumbled, rubbing her left arm in discomfort. Nadia honestly didn't know what had gotten into her, probably had something to do with her not being used to being around anyone but Nerissa. "It's just that...I couldn't...I'm going to bed."

As she tried to leave, Nadia was stopped by Nerissa grabbing onto her hand. Looking back, Nadia saw that both Nerissa and Cipher had worried looks on their faces. "Let go Nerissa, I'm tired, and I want to go to sleep."

"No," Nerissa said firmly as she tightened her grip on Naida's hand, reaching her other hand out to Naida's shoulder. "I'm not letting you go," Nerissa said, "I know you're not tired so that excuse is out the window. Is there anymore excuses you want to try Nadia?" Nerissa asked in a testy tone as she walk closer to Nadia.

"Nerissa," Naida sighed when she caught the look in Nerissa's eyes and annoyed that the shark wouldn't let her just go to bed. "It's been a long day, and I don't want to talk about it. So can you please ju-"

"No? Good, now we're going to talk about this now like adults or I'm I going to have to force you to talk about it," Nerissa said as she looked menacingly into Nadia's eyes while her grip on Nadia's shoulder tighten.

"Fine," Nadia growled as she shook out of Nerissa's grip to walk around the shark so she would be standing in front of Cipher. Looking the wolf in the eyes, Nadia could only sigh in defeat. "Cipher, dude, stop looking down on yourself already. You're way too cool of a dude to do that to yourself. There, I said it, can I go to bed now, mom?"

"I know you're not tired Nadia," Nerissa said as she sat down by the bonfire. "Plus, we still have to finish the fish and shellfish," she said as she started to gut some of the fish Nadia didn't clean yet.

Rolling her eyes Nadia went back to cleaning the rest of the fish up so that they all could eat, now that Nadia was feeling hungry again. All the while, Cipher was still quite, probably taking in what Nadia had said a few moments ago. Thanks to the extra pair of hands, the two sharks were done with the cleaning and were now cooking the food over the small bonfire.

"Hey Cipher," Nadia started, laying back on her back, slightly to her left side to stay off her dorsal-fin. After sighing a bit, Nadia glanced back up into the wolf's eyes. "Sorry about earlier. It's just that...it's my fault that you were hurt, and it bugged me when you were downing on yourself dude."

"Oh, yeah, sure, you're forgiven," Cipher said absentmindedly as he took a short glance over to Nadia. The wolf hadn't been paying much attention with his thoughts now being plagued with the look in Nadia's eyes when she had overpowered him. If he had found her alluring after her prank, now that feeling had almost doubled, and now he couldn't get the thought of her out of his head.

Nadia looked at the now blank expression on Cipher's face, now feeling bad for making things awkward a few moments ago. She then thought how weird this whole situation was for him. Get scared out of his mind from a pair of sharks, get knocked out because of said sharks, and gets saved by them too.

"Heh, well hasn't today been a day huh?" Nadia asked with a small laugh, sitting up from the ground, and running her hand through her white hair.

"Yeah," Nerissa she while turning the fish and shellfish over the bonfire. Nerissa looked over to seeing the blank forty yard stare on Cipher's face. "Cipher you ok?" she asked, snapping him out of his blank stare.

"I'm fine Nerissa, my head feels better by the way," Cipher started a short moment after he was torn from his daydream about Nadia. Which was probably a good thing before his mind began to wander, and become too questionable to even mention to either of the two sharks. "And yeah, one hell of a day," he added, seeming to cheer up a bit with taking a few of Nadia's words to heart after their brief, one sided argument.

But a loud rumbling from the wolf's stomach soon stopped him from saying much else, the rumble was audible enough that the two sharks had heard it, making Cipher slightly embarrassed by his hunger.

"It's seem that you are a beast after all." Nerissa said with a giggle, "Just a couple more minutes and everything will be ready," she said while turning over the seafood. "Here have a drink," Nerissa said as she tossed him a beer from the cooler. "Um, be careful opening it they got shakened up when I separate you too."

"Hey pass me one too," Nadia said, feeling like she could use a good cold drink after the day been having. Naida caught the drink that Nerissa tossed to her, quickly opening it up as she held it away from her to let the fizzy come forth. "Ah, best drank when fuzzy."

Cipher caught the can and moved to open it by pulling on the stay-tab, the can popped open and its contents began to froth out of it, and without hesitation, Cipher moved it to his mouth and took a quick swig of the beer to stop the liquid from spilling everywhere. The refreshment was more than welcomed as he swallowed the cold liquid before moving the can away, giving a satisfied sigh as he did so. The sharks generosity knew no bounds. Yet, Cipher didn't question where Nadia and Nerissa had gotten a full cooler of fresh beer.

Nadia didn't waste a moment before she started to tip her head back to quickly drink the contents of the beer can. She was still happy that those tourists 'accidentally' dropped their cooler into the open sea before leave for their homes prematurely. "Ah, that hit the spot," Nadia said after she finished drinking over half of the beer. "Hey, are you sure that you should be drinking after that knock to your head Cy? Ah, you know what, forget it. That was nothing but a small bump, and one can won't hurt."

"It wasn't like I was hit by a whale," Cipher said, now making a small joke that he hoped would lighten the mood between the three of them. "Besides, its been an hour, right?" Cipher asked, swirling his beer can a tiny amount before he looked over to Nadia. "So I think I'm okay, Nurse Nadia. Heh get it?" Cipher asked with a chuckle at his own joke.

Nadia deadpanned at the wolf as he continued to chuckle at the joke he told before finally shaking her head with a small laugh of her own. "Hahah, you know Cy, that would be funnier if we really were nurse sharks," she said with a slight eyeroll, taking sip of her drink. For some reason, Nadia honestly found the joke to be funny, but she hid this.

Nerissa shook her head with a chuckle. "Not bad Cipher." Nerissa turn the seafood over making sure it full cook. "Ok, the food ready," she said as she took a fish from the bonfire.

"Eh, you guys have first dibs, I can wait," Nadia said not as hungry as the other two, but having her eye on a juicy looking samon. "And by the way Cipher, it's been way longer than an hour. It's almost been like...three I think. Going off the refection of the moon at least," Nadia said, taking another quick glance over towards the refection of the pale-blue light of the moon.

Cipher placed his drink upon the ground next to him, at long last his hunger could be satiated, on this occasion he was the one who wasted no time to dig into the large fish on the skewer Nadia had handed to him. The fish had been nicely cooked as it hit his taste buds, strange seeing as the one who had cooked it mostly ate raw fish. And strange of all, Cipher never thought cooked fish could taste as good as it did. It was delicious.

"This is really good, Nerissa, I mean really, really good," Cipher praised with a smile to the brown shark upon having swallowed his mouthful.

"T-Thanks, It nothing much." Nerissa said while she blushed at Cipher's praise. Nerissa opened up a beer for herself and started to drink. 'Cipher seems to be really hungry,' she thought to herself as she saw Cipher wolf down the fish and quickly grabbed a crawfish. Nerissa giggled at Cipher's appetite. "Seem like the wolf ready does wolf down it food," Nerissa teasingly said with a chuckle.

"Not as much as you though," Nadia joked as she reached for the salmon she been staring at, and beginning to rip apart the cooked meat. "But then again, so do I." Nadia started laughing as she continued to eat away at the fish before reaching out towards a smaller one. "Hey remembered that time we tore through that school of bass fish? Hah, I swear I thought you were gonna go into a food coma."

"You shouldn't be talk Miss Itis." Nerissa said with a smirk as Nadia started to blush. "You was in one after we went through that school of tuna. It was yellowfin right?" Nerissa asked innocently while reaching for an oyster.

"Ah...best fourteen hours of sleep ever," Nadia said as she downed the rest of her drink, crushed the can, and setting it down on the ground. "Hey Cy, you ever do something like that? Eat so much ya pass out, it's the best man."

"Well...nothing ever like, but there was this one time me and my bro's got so drunk we ended up in a sand trap on a golf course, that was fun," Cipher started before he began to tell the two sharks about his adventure.

Three or so hours later...

Cipher's and the two sharks' merriment, and drinking, continued long into the night, each one telling a story or two to pass the time. It wasn't much longer before Nerissa and Nadia started to get closer to the wolf, meteorically and literally. Sitting on either side of the black wolf, Nerissa and Nadia slowly began to make small moves on Cipher, but this was all in fun.

"You mean to tell me," Nadia said, her words slightly slurred from the alcohol taking effect in her a little. Though, Nadia was still fairing off much better than both Nerissa and Cipher, who both seemed to be lightweights. "You haven't caught a single piece of tail in like...forever. How? You're not that bad looking."

"Habits I guess," Cipher started, his words also slurred by the four or five cans he had consumed. He was also having a hard time focusing on either of the two sharks he was in the middle off. "Girls back home wanted a dude who would treat them roughly, me? I'm more...the opposite, I wanted someone on who would treat me roughly," he said with a slight hiccup breaking his sentence.

Nadia raised an eyebrow towards the wolf, giggly laughing at him a bit. "Are you serious dude? You have got to be the first guy to ever say that...but just to be sure." Nadia continued to giggle as she suddenly straddled Cipher's right leg, placing one hand on his shoulder and the other around the back of Cipher's head. Still not letting Cipher catch what's going on, Nadia darted her mouth over towards his ear and took a soft bite with her serrated teeth.

Cipher sucked in a short breath through his teeth, the pinch he felt on his ear was unexpected and a bit painful with Nadia's sharp teeth, but in his drunken state he wanted her to continue as he placed his hand onto her thigh and waist. "D-do it again," he said as faint blush appeared on the black and white fur of his face.

A faint blush appeared on Nerissa's cheeks as she watched Nadia nibble on Cipher's ear. She felt an predatory urge to join in. Slowly climbing onto Cipher's left leg, Nerissa looked into Cipher's deep blue eyes before he closed them from Nadia's biting. Nerissa leaned forward and slowly bite into the crook of his neck.

Cipher gasped the moment the two sharks went to work on nibbling on parts of his body, even with the fog of drunkenness clouding most of his thoughts, he actually wouldn't have thought that he would have two sharks making moves on him, only in his wildest dreams would something like this occur, and for a moment he thought was dreaming. But that thought quickly passed when Nadia also moved to nibble on his neck.

Nadia continued to bite along side Cipher's neck, gripping at his blue hair with one hand and holding down his shoulder. At first, she thought that Cipher was just talking crap when he said he like's to be the submissive one. But now that she seen it with her own eyes, Nadia was starting to get into it, and from the looks of things, so was Nerissa.

After removing her mouth from Cipher's neck, Nadia wickedly smiled at the blush on Cipher's black fur and the sound of him gasping from Nerissa taking her turn at biting Cipher's neck. "Well, well, well Nessy, looks like we caught ourselves one hell of a catch. Wouldn't you say so?"

Nerissa looked over at Nadia and started to giggle. "I would say so Nadi, a mighty good catch indeed," Nerissa lustfully said as she bit her lower lip while she trace circles on Cipher chest. Nerissa leaned back to get close to Nadia's ear. "How 'bout we take our catch into our den," Nerissa whispered just loud enough for Cipher to hear.

"Mm, I can't wait to take a bite out of him," Nadia wickedly smiled, sneaking her hand down towards Cipher's crotch to feel his raging erection through his swimming trunks.
