OK. I know what you're thinking. This is weird. St George's Horse has written a story using the beloved character called Leilani. https://leilani.sofurry.com/ LeiLani

Whatever will she do when she finds out? She knows. She's read the rough draft and she has approved. I ran it through an editing and tweaked it a little. It sprang from a suggestion that we do a collaboration. Of course, in my usual ramrod way, I cranked this out over the course of a few days, in between everything else. I hope you like it. I think she remains true to the original concept.

Leilani was gazing about with a look of tired dismay on her lovely face. Yet again, a great storm had blown in off the ocean, bringing with it an inordinate amount of destruction. Thankfully, her hut had survived nearly intact, and it would take less than a day's work to set it to rights.

Repairs could wait. For now, she wanted to see how much mayhem the storm had wrought on her favorite beach. As she stepped over piles of fronds and the occasional tree trunk, she made her way to the shoreline, where the advancing front of the massive weather system had struck the island first.

It was a disaster.

The storm had brought in uprooted palms from the neighboring islands and along with it much debris; from bits of clothing to rare snail shells normally hidden safely away under the waves. Here and there were dead fish and seahorses mixed among long strands of seaweed. Overall, the beach was going to be a cluttered mess for weeks until nature managed to deal with the aftermath. She could wait it out. Such things had a way of working themselves out in the end. But it would be a dismal sight until that happened.

As the otter made her across the churned up sand, she kept an eye out for things she might find useful or pretty. Sadly, there was a lot in this mess that was neither. Under the tangled remains of a coconut palm she spotted a bit of color that attracted her attention. It was red, and it looked like it was a piece of clothing, possibly washed out of some unfortunate otter's hut on some other island.

She tugged at it, finding it stuck under the trunk of the tree. At the same time it didn't feel right, so she parted the fronds and jumped back in alarm. The material was still attached to its owner.

She gulped a little, and then immediately felt sad for the poor soul. The storms were never good for anything, and they cared not a bit for the poor folks in its path. This villager must have been caught unawares to have suffered being blown in from so far away.

She pulled back the mass of ruined vegetation to get a better look at this poor person. A spotted paw came into view attached to a spotted arm; it was attached to a spotted shoulder. She made a quick assessment and figured it was a cheetah. She rolled the limp head to one side, noting that the features were not right for a cheetah. Leopard? No. Still not quite right. That left only one other. Jaguar. It must have been a jaguar. Funny. There weren't any around here. Where had it come from?

She soon determined that it was a him. She was working with the body rather gingerly, not wishing to seem disrespectful. But upon rolling him onto his back, his body made a noise. The otter nearly panicked. She hadn't expected that there might be life left in it!

The noise was a weak groan. Whoever this was, they had managed to stay alive in that storm for three days! Leilani herself was a veteran of such things and she knew the best places to ride them out. She looked up and down the beach, wondering what else lay hidden under the wreckage. Then her eyes came back to this sand covered feline. He was very close to being dead. Should she let nature take its course; or should she intervene and see what happened? It wasn't like she didn't have other things to do, and if she had not come down to the beach at this very moment, he probably would have died anyway.

She made up her mind. He might die still, but if she had anything to do with it, she would see to it that he had a chance. After all, wouldn't she want someone to do the same for her? She looked around for something to help move him, for he was weightier than she was. Finding nothing useful, she endeavored to physically drag him across the sand and to her hut. It took a while, but when she finally managed to do it, she felt a deep sense of pride.

"I do not know who you are, but you will be my guest for as long as you survive."

She got fresh water for him, but in his unconscious state he was unable to drink. She forced some between his lips before using the remaining amount to wash the sand and salt from his eyelids. His eyes were sunken into his skull from his dehydration, but she could tell that they had once been bright and piercing. His fur was handsome, though there were spots where it looked to be worn from chronic abuse.

His clothing was hardly native attire, even considering some of the trade items that made their way among the locals. His red pants were of a tough material, but showed nearly as much wear and tear as he did. He had a single earring, a pink pearl, and this drew her interest. It was obviously from this region, so he had to be familiar with the area. Outside of that, he was devoid of clues as to who he was or how he had managed to wash up on her shore.

Getting him arranged in her hut was problematic and in the end she decided to strip him of his clothing. She wasn't interested in seeing him naked, not in his present condition, but she knew that if he lived he was going to be voiding his bladder and getting his pants soaked would only mar his skin and make him stink. Still, she couldn't help but linger over his crotch for a few moments, wondering what he had been like when he was alive.

She reconsidered her thought. Well, when he was not so close to death. His heart still beat in his chest and his lungs still drew in air. But tomorrow maybe they would stop. So for now she tried to ply him with water. She lay next to him and stared at his face and tried to imagine what his life had been like before he had been abducted by the storm.

She went out at times to work on her hut, looking in on her bit of flotsam to see if he still lived. She came away relieved each time. She had hope on her side, but she was a practical sort. If he died, there was little she could have done to prevent it.

That night she curled up next to him. She had managed to get a little more water into him, accompanied by fits of violent choking, but she felt that in the morning maybe he would be better. There was little else she could do for him. She was a simple otter, not a shaman or a healer. That took special power and she was blessed with the wrong gifts to do any more than she was doing.

During the night she woke several times, feeling him stirring as he recovered a little. She left him alone, knowing that sleep was as therapeutic as any remedy that could be made. She forced a little more water into him, and his choking eased up as his body greedily absorbed the much needed fluid.

In the morning she awoke to the sunlight and a light breeze blowing through the holes in her thatched roof. She blinked a few times before remembering her patient. She stretched and yawned before turning to see how he was doing. His eyes were open, but he spoke not a single word. He was watching her as she stood and hovered over him.

"You are alive!"

He closed his eyes a moment before reopening them.

"No, I don't think so." His voice box sounded like it still had sand stuck in it from the storm.

She smiled. "No? What makes you say that?"

He cracked a few joints as his cramped muscles fought to relax. "Because I'm looking at an angel, and angels only live in heaven."

"Angel? Heaven? I do not know about that. I live on an island and this is my home."

He tried to sit up and the color drained from his ears. "Too much salt."

"Salt?"

"Salt water. It's hard to avoid swallowing it when you're fighting for your life in the middle of a cyclone."

"Oh I see. The storm that blew you here. Which island are you from?"

"Island? No island. I'm a sailor from the ship the S.S. Goodman. My ship went down thanks to a huge wave that hit us broadside."

"Sailor? What were you doing here?"

"We were just passing through. We have no commerce in these parts."

She sat and stared at him for a while. "Do you have a name?"

"Yes."

Her mouth turned up into a quirky grin. "Can I have it?"

"What's wrong with your name?"

She stared hard at him. "Nothing is wrong with my name! Why would you ask that?"

"Well, you said you wanted my name. I assume you must need one."

She knit her brows as she considered his words before breaking out in a grin. "You are teasing me, are you not?"

"Yes. And since you asked, I'll tell you. I'm David Longfellow, thought everyone just calls me Davy."

The otter smiled as she looked at his crotch. She had covered him up, but she had seen his body the night before. "I think that I prefer long fellow."

It took him a moment to realize that intent of her words until it dawned on him that his pants were gone. He actually stuttered. "I'mmm soorrry ma'am. I didn't realize that I was naked."

"Ma'am? What is ma'am?"

"A word of respect is all ma'am."

"My name is Leilani. That is all the respect I need from you." She looked down at him, thoughts running through her mind.

"Well long fellow, whatever am I going to do with you?"

He slowly rotated his neck, looking relieved as the bones cracked and reset themselves into a semblance of order closer to what they were meant to be in. "I'm sorry ma'am, that is, Leilani. I don't know. If the ship sunk, I've got no ride off of this island; in fact I've got no way of getting home at all."

"You are hardly in a shape to go anywhere right now. You look terrible."

"I feel terrible. Too much sea water will kill a man quicker than thirst. And my ribs feel like Poseidon himself tried to squeeze the life out of me."

"Po-sei-don? Who is he?"

The jaguar managed a slight chuckle. "And old legend. God of the ocean. Leastwise, that's what some old culture once thought."

"I have seen no gods in these waters."

He managed a pained smile. "And would you know one if you saw one?"

She had to admit that she would not. "But I know every fish, every crab, every scallop that lives under the surface of the water. I think I would know a god."

"As you say." He was weak, and in a few moments he was back asleep, snoring loudly, but looking better than he had yesterday on the beach.

Leilani liked this sailor, but he was too weak to be of much use to her. She needed a male who was strong and virile, not half dead and limp as a jellyfish. He might be fun to play with, but as it was, he was far from his prime condition. And since he was beached here on her island, the chances were pretty good he wasn't going to be going anywhere anytime soon. That offered a little bit of hope for the future.

She fixed him food every day, all the while making him drink until he thought his stomach would burst. It took two days before his body started to dump out the water and with it the toxic amount of salt it had been forced to swallow during the tumultuous weather. By this time he could get up and around a little. This made her glad, because she did not want to have to haul in fresh sand everyday to mask his messes.

After a week, he was moving around slowly and steadily, but with obvious stiffness. He had taken quite a beating out there in the ocean, and his body was still reeling from the effects of the battering waves.

"You are doing better long fellow. But I think you can do better."

He propped himself up against the wall of her hut. "Really? What do you think I should be doing right now? I'm hardly fit to be hanging from the yardarm like some drunken ape."

She wasn't sure what he meant, but she assumed that he was talking in sailor talk. "I think that you are not trying very hard, because you have nothing to strive for. Your ship is gone, and you have no way of getting home. So you laze about here in a funk, not knowing what to do."

He dug his claws into the sand. "You might be right. What if you are?"

She sat down across the floor from him. "I think that you would do better it you tried harder. But you have no reason to try. Maybe Leilani will give you a reason."

With that she began playing with herself. She did it openly and without regard for whatever silly moral issues he might have. For his part, he was dumbstruck and could only stare, mouth agape, as her nimble paws went to work on her bright pink slit like she was some paid harlot from a side street whorehouse. He felt the heat rising in his cheeks, and elsewhere.

"Ma'am, what are you doing?"

She smiled. "Are you so stupid that you can not tell when a lady is pleasuring herself?"

"I know what you're doing. I guess I meant to ask why you're doing it."

"Because it makes me feel good. I don't always have someone here to help me deal with my urges, so sometimes I have to scratch the itches myself."

She could see that his body was functioning properly, even if overall it was moving too slow for her liking. A rod of red rose from his loins until he realized it and hastily covered it up. "Ma'am, are you trying to seduce me?"

The otter laughed. "Men are not hard to seduce. I am making you an offer. But my offer has conditions."

"And they are?"

"You have to catch me. Plain and simple; you catch me and you can have me."

His face was immediately crestfallen. "I'm in no shape to catch you."

"You are right. So I guess you have all the time in the world to get your strength back. This is my island. I am not going anywhere."

He closed his eyes. "Why are you doing this?"

"Because I can. If you do not like what you see, then consider the deal off. But at some point, I will no longer help you. If you cannot survive on your own, you are of no use to anyone, including yourself."

"I didn't ask to be thrown overboard!"

"I have no doubt that is true enough. But it happened, and I went out of my way to save you. I am not looking for thanks. I am looking for someone who is capable of helping me cope with my needs. If you are not that person, then I will just look elsewhere."

Davy stood and lunged at her. She dodged his clumsy attempt and almost rolled out the door in a ball. She stood and called to the inside. "See! You are weak and uncoordinated. If you want me, you have to catch me. I make no rules how you do it, as long as you are nice about it. But it will take much more than that!"

After that, he sulked for a while. She ignored him. He didn't look like a quitter, but she knew it had to be hard on him, losing his ship and knowing that he may never see his home again. Leilani didn't know what she might do if she ever was taken away from her home. But he had to want to live and right now she wasn't sure he had the will.

She still caught fish and fed him, but once the meal was over, she went to the beach to slowly help the process by clearing up some of the debris. She found a few useful things; a net, a length of rope, a few wooden crates with strange writing on them, and all these things she brought back to her hut. Davy told her what the writing meant, and examined the rope, determining that it might very well have been from his ship.

All the while, the otter kept a close eye out on him. She was pretty wise to tricks. She knew a few of her own. Not once did he try again to chase her, or grab her, or do much of anything. He seemed almost too polite. But he did get out every day and walk, at times taking up a jogging pace, and at others going to the beach with her and helping to clear away the mess.

He was looking over the dead palm trees one day and commented. "You know, I might be able to move a few of these with that rope."

"Really?"

"Tie a proper knot so that it doesn't slip, and place a few rollers underneath them and they might move. And if we wait until high tide, I might be able to get them into the water where they can move farther down the coastline."

The rollers were sections of trunk from shattered trees. His idea worked fairly well, and he seemed to relish doing something useful over just running around for the sake of the exercise. She watched his muscles bulge as they fought against gravity and friction to move some of the smaller trees from her beach. As he said, floating them worked well, and she herself was able to propel them into deeper water once they were bobbing gently on the waves.

When she would return to shore, she would often linger underwater, staring at his lower half. He had foregone wearing his pants, alluding to the possible future need to have something to wear in case he was ever rescued. She got a little frustrated with him over those words, for hadn't she already rescued him?

She was growing impatient. She didn't know what kind of male he was, for he should have been putting his energy into catching her. She was even getting to the point that she was going to break her word and dive on him if he didn't start showing more interest in this contest. She gazed at him for as long as her breath held out, at which point she would surface.

Davy noted her extended underwater trips, and smiled when he concluded that she was checking him out from the safety of the rolling waves. She was a lovely thing, but he just wasn't the type to chase a woman. He probably had as much interest in her as she did in him, but he wasn't a philanderer by any means. And unlike her, he was patient. He would catch her one of these days. It was just a matter of time.

In the meantime, he felt good doing something useful. Nothing bothered him more than being idle.

The beach was slowly cleared. Soon several hundred yards of it looked close to normal, with its brilliant white sand and a smattering of sea shells. Past it in either direction there was still a woven mass of intertwining debris, but this section at least looked good.

"Thank you long fellow," she said at the end of one particularly busy day.

"I'd prefer if you call me Davy ma'am"

"And I'd prefer if you call me by my name. Besides, I think long fellow is a good name for you."

He actually felt the heat rise in his cheeks. "If you say so ma...Leilani."

"I do Davy. I have seen what you have to offer a lady. You have no shortcomings from what I have seen."

"And yet you still make me work for it."

"Of course. You appreciate the things you have to work for."

He nodded. "You are right Leilani. I had to work at being a sailor and I'm a damn good one. I had to learn the basics before I was ever allowed to be on a boat. Take for example ropes. I had to learn to tie sixty types of knots."

"Sixty? There are not that many, are there?"

He took the length of rope and began going through some of them. "Here are the Granny Knot, and the Square Knot, and the Becket," he said in turn as he made them. "Here's the Lark's Head, and the Stevedore's Knot, and the running knot.

She was watching his paws working very dexterously with the rope, with a speed that almost matched her own. She never knew a rope could be turned in on itself in so many ways. It was fascinating to watch him work it, like he was some sort of magician or something.

"Do all of these wonderful forms actually work, or are they just for looks?" she asked, enthralled by his abilities.

"Oh, they all have a function. See, put your feet through this loop here and then see if you can get free. You'll see that you can't escape from some of these knots."

"Is that so? I can escape from anything!" She stuck her pretty feet out for him to put the loop around them."

"Are you sure? I can tie a pretty mean knot!"

"Yes I am sure!"

He shrugged and did as he was told. With a few deft moves her ankles were bound and he stood back. "There you go. Escape!"

She went to work, and found that, much to her dismay, she couldn't get free. The harder she tried, the tighter the knot seemed to get, until with a cry of frustration, she called it quits. "I give up! I can't get this rope to loosen up."

"You give up? So you can't get free?"

"I just said that, did I not?"

"I suppose you did. Alright then, since you have declared that I have caught you, then I guess I'll accept your defeat with as much grace and aplomb as I can muster."

She stared at him. "You tricked me!"

"I don't recall there being anything in the rules about not being able to use guile."

She glared at him just long enough to mull it over in her mind. She was actually kind of glad her contest was over. Apparently he was using his head instead of his body to win. There was something to be said for that. "I will let you win this time."

He smiled. "Are there going to be others?"

She stuck her feet up at him. "I guess that depends on what you do this time, does it not?"

"I guess it does." He slipped the knot loose and rubbed her ankles. The rope had worked itself down pretty tight during her struggle. His paws made their way up her legs, massaging her fur and the flesh underneath with more delicacy than she would have expected from a male. Paws strong enough to move trees and yet still capable of such gentleness were a rare combination. She was finding that saving him might have been the right thing to do after all.

He worked his way up her legs until she was wet with anticipation. But instead of going further, to the point where her need was the greatest, he forced her over onto her stomach. Before she could voice a protest, he sat on her rump, faced backwards and grabbed her tail. Those strong hands worked her rudder from its furry tip right down to the base, kneading it and rubbing it until it nearly went limp. No one had ever done this for her!

He heard her mumble something. "What was that?"

"I said you are hired."

"I see. What's the pay?" he said with a touch of amusement in his voice.

"You are looking at her."

"Deal! But I'm not done yet."

He turned and faced her front, setting his paws to working over her shoulders and her back. She would have asked what he was getting out of his kindness, but she could feel his balls resting at the base of her tail, and his engorging cock rubbing the small of her back. Apparently he got turned on by giving his lover a massage.

Leilani could think of worse fetishes!

He even leaned up and pressed his fingers against her skull, rubbing her temples until she felt her limbs go limp. For all she knew, the bones had suddenly disappeared from them.

When he was done there, he swung off, rolled her onto her back, and once again found himself a seat, this time right over her pelvis. His hands went to her brown breasts. His fingers fondled them carefully, occasionally stopping to gently pull on her nipples. After a time, he leaned down and applied his mouth to the job, and her hands went straight to the sides of his head.

She gasped as she tongue lingered over each one, curling around each jutting bit of sensitive flesh until she wanted to scream. To make matters worse, he wasn't taking the plunge. She could feel his stiff rod pressing against her thigh, but he seemed to be purposely avoiding her hole. Instead, he worked his mouth up her neck to her ears, kissing first one, and then the other, before moving back down again. By the time he reached her nipples again, she was ready to bite him.

She contorted her body, twisting in an attempt to line hers up with his. She heard him whisper "Oh no you don't" as he shifted his weight, stopping her from consummating their tryst. He was driving her crazy! Males always wanted to get inside; that was the whole point of having sex! But he was purposely torturing her!

She knew what he was doing! He was getting back at her for making him work for it! That's what he was doing. He was going to drive her crazy and then leave her to writhe on the sand in torment.

The next instant she knew what it was like to be a fish being gutted. His cock penetrated her like a knife, and her eyes went so wide that they hurt. She felt inch after inch spreading her wide until his body was connected with hers in the most intimate way possible.

He flesh was quivering uncontrollably. She thrust her hips against his; her feet were flat on the ground as she bucked violently over his manhood.

"Easy Leilani! What's the rush?"

She blinked a few times, moving her arms around his neck. "You are an evil person."

He might have taken offense if her dulcet voice wasn't coming across like a candy coated tidbit. "Evil? I have never been called evil before."

She could feel parts of her anatomy vibrating like the ground did on occasion. "You are not evil. You are wicked. What did you do to me?"

He leaned down and kissed her soundly. "I prepared you. A hungry man can eat a raw fish and it will fill his stomach, but cook it, flavor it and savor it and it is so much better."

She thought his analogy was odd, but it made sense in a simple sort of way. It was just like her plan of making him work to have her. The longer he had to wait, the more he would want her.

She smiled when it dawned on her that the buildup to this moment had worked more against her than it had him. She had literally been sitting in her own _hima'a_for weeks, stewing in her own juices. And he had honed that to perfection in these last few moments until she was ready to burst.

She felt the urge to bite him, so she did. It wasn't hard, but she sunk her teeth in enough to make him growl.

"What the hell is that for?"

"That is for tricking me. And if you do not satisfy my needs, I will do it again."

"What do I get if I do satisfy your needs?"

She batted her eyelids. "What more could you want?"

He responded by kissing her again. "Nothing right now my lithe little beauty. Nothing at all."

He tried making love her from on top, but she was so twitchy and full of energy that he finally rolled their entwined bodies over, allowing her free movement from her position above him. She was full of otterish energy and quickly went into a blur of motion that made his eyes spin. Her head reflected what the rest of her body was doing, and it was bobbing up and down like the needle on a sewing machine.

He relaxed back into the sand, content for now to allow her to do want she wanted. He was struck with a little melancholy as he remembered another lady, belonging to another time and place. But that was old news, and he understood that a person had to move on.

He felt nothing akin to love for the horny little native girl, but he was very appreciative of all she did for him, and right now, he was quite taken in with her enthusiasm. He wasn't one of those guys who had to be in control all the time. A good sailor knows that the sea is a rough lover, and as such you rarely have any control over your interactions with her. This Leilani was much the same in his eyes; beautiful, sometimes a bit savage, and often just as unpredictable.

But when she was compliant, the sailing was easy and the outlook was bright.

He let her set their present course.

She was grinding away on a buildup of repressed frustration with all the energy she could muster. It was a good thing she had been tricked or else she might have broken her word about the contest. But now that she had him, she was going to wear him back down to being the weak invalid he was when she had found him.

As it was, he was a nearly perfect fit inside of her. He came equipped with the right length and width to generate the perfect amount of friction. She envied any of his past lovers and wondered who they might have been. She might ask later, but for now he was all her's and she was going to use him until one or the other of them dropped.

Her tail was lashing about until he got his legs around it and locked it down. The sudden tension on it increased her ability to work him over harder, for without it flying in the wind like a loose sail, she was able to put more of her energy into her lovemaking.

She worked desperately for while, just wanting to take the edge off. He had managed to get her so worked up she had no idea what she was even doing. Finally, his strong paws grabbed her shoulders and he forced her to a stop.

"Slow down little lady. What's the rush?"

"I feel like I am covered in jellyfish stings! My skin is crawling right now!"

"I see. Take in a deep breath."

She quivered with a sex-fueled rage. "I am breathing!"

He inhaled deeply and blew it out. "Do it."

She did as she was directed, sucking a lungful of air and holding it just like she was diving for scallops. She counted the numbers until she reached her limit and then blew it out.

"Now, don't you feel a little better?"

She noticed that the tension had left her body, and the shaking had lessened. "I suppose so."

"Good! Then shall we continue?"

She was infuriated with him. Men were supposed to be all sex and driving it in and then being done. This one was maddening. He was infuriating. He was...too damn sure of himself. And even worse, Leilani found that he had every right to be.

She drew in another breath and went to work again, moving slower and with greater determination. Each downward push of her body drove her hips over his cock until she could feel the pressure deep inside where it could go no further. She arched her head back on her neck and let out a little squeal before pulling up and starting it all over again.

It didn't take long before she felt that wonderful sensation rise up in her belly; there was the increased heat in her cheeks as that wonderful feeling overtook her senses and she collapsed in a heap on top of his body. She lay there quivering in a manner consistent with an orgasm of epic proportions as her muscles contracted and squeezed around the intrusion that was his cock. She had never felt such a relief before. She lay there gasping for air as his chest worked at a maddeningly normal rate.

One thing was certain.

She wanted more!

His arms enveloped her and held her close. It was a feeling she had been wishing for the whole time he was recovering, and she found that all of that waiting had been worth it. His legs relaxed from their lock on her tail, and she nestled down against his fur and melted into a puddle of brown fuzz.

"Davy?"

"Yes Leilani?"

"Can we do it again?"

He chuckled."We? I haven't had a chance to do anything yet. You were the one affected by your own decree. So, I guess what I'm trying to say that we can do it as much as you want, but right now, it's my turn to go."

She nibbled on his chest. "How long can you go, do you think?"

He rang his fingers through her hair. "Probably long enough to make you cry for me to stop."

He felt her muscles convulse at the thought his words put into her head. "Do you promise?"

"Yes and no."

She leaned up and looked him in the face. "What does that mean?"

"It means; yes I'll go so long that you'll cry for me to stop."

"I get that. What's the no all about?"

He kissed her on the mouth. "It means that just because you cry for me to stop, it doesn't mean I will."

She bit him again, but it wasn't hard. "You had better be a man of your word!"
