A new beginning
#12 of The Digi_Dead part 4
Veemon and some of the others were aware of a party Zangoose was throwing down for this momentous occasion of new comers. The group of mostly Digimon and some others like Fox, Krystal and Falco were accepted into this group of mainly Pokemon. There was all this mingling and talking about everyday activities. Kumamon was the last to enter. Scourge didn't even bother showing up. Blackgatomon had left to go take some of the guns they carried. Veemon covered for her. They knew how crazy the world was. To even see anyone with a smile was like an obscure and almost distasteful sensation for Veemon's group. A Pokemon walked up to Kumamon she was attempting to be polite. She said, "So what would you like to drink? I'm asking because I wouldn't like to bring you something you'd hate. I've had that problem before..." Kumamon's head snapped up "Problem...problem, you seriously think that stupid shit is going to be a problem. This place is the problem. You promised us paradise and it's not." Kumamon stormed out.
Blackgatomon took some of the weapons and turned to see a young Pokemon had followed her. He asked, "What are you doing?" She went from having a rushed looked to having a very threatening look as she knelt down, "You can't tell anyone I came here. If you do you won't like what happens next. You'll fall unconscious and when you wake up you be outside that wall tied to a tree where no human will here you scream. But the infected walkers will. And they'll tare your flesh apart. But if you keep quite I might consider giving you some cookies. Out of the two options you have I'd for the one where you keep quite. Do we have an understanding?" He just nodded.
Coronamon sat down with a Mewtwo. He was a bit older and had built the fence the guarded them in. Coronamon sat down and said, "I'd like to know how you built this place. After I lost Spadamon I felt like I knew I had to make it for the long hall. It would be nice to learn how to do such things overtime." Mewtwo wrote a little passage in a pad and handed it over, "You'll need this to write down what you've learned. And from what I'll tell you. That's how we build a better life.
Guilmon was going on a run with Coronamon, Falco, Tara and joining them was Richu and Pikachu. They were both raised by the Zangoose since they were young. But they both loved the thrill of getting out there and supplying Alexandria with everything they needed. They went in a van and Richu drove with some dup step music playing. They made it to a store. They got out and Richu said, "Ok let's go in the front and take care of this." Guilmon shook his head, "We should check the entire area first, before moving in...Coronamon walker." There was one walker coming in. He raised his gun and shot it in the head. Richu nodded, "Nice shot. Fine let's split up." Guilmon went with Coronamon. Falco was with Tara and Richu was with Pikachu. Guilmon went off to the side and saw on the other side of a fence there was a heard of walkers. Guilmon said, "It looks like were not getting out from the front." They regrouped and Guilmon said, "Let's go in this way its clear. He opened the door and gave it a good knock. He said, "Give it a second."
They waited just a bit and then he led them inside. He got them to a corridor and stopped them hearing the echoes of some walkers. He waited and said, "There stuck behind something." Richu asked, "How do you know?" Guilmon said, "Otherwise they would have come at us by now." They went on ahead and were still startled seeing the large number of walkers stuck behind a fence. Tara pointed at Falco and she said, "Now it's your turn." They split up as Falco was searching for some gear to help out with the building of Alexandria. Guilmon and Coronamon went down another corridor to check to see if there were any other ways of the walkers getting in. Richu and Pikachu hit the other and they turned around to see one walker. It came toward this. Richu smirked, "That's right." He raised his gun. Guilmon was coming down an isle with Coronamon and he saw the walker. Richu started shooting. Guilmon warned, "Wait! Don't!" He shot again hitting the grenade on the walker's chest. It exploded.
Guilmon got up first and was disoriented. He looked around to check if the fence was still up. It was still in contact. He looked around, "Coronamon." He whispered. He popped back up and shook his head. Falco yelped, "Help." They looked over to see Tara was knocked down. Then they heard another groan, "Oh man..." They went over to see Richu had to long pipes going through his upper chest and leg. Guilmon said, "Coronamon help Falco get Tara to a safe place." The fence was starting to collapse. Coronamon rushed over and helped Falco and Tara get to a room and shut the door. Coronamon returned and Guilmon said, "Come one cover us. Pikachu help me!" Pikachu tried once and said, "It's no use...he's a goner." Guilmon said, "We can't give up on him." Falco found the exit. The walkers broke free. Coronamon started steady fire and yelled, "Hurry up." Guilmon pulled, "Help me Pikachu." Pikachu panicked as he saw the walkers coming at him. He ran the other way. Richu gulped, "Go!" Guilmon pulled Coronamon off trying to follow where Pikachu was going. He was heading to the front. Guilmon yelled, "Wait." Falco helped Tara out the door shooting two walkers wildly just to protect her.
Pikachu ran and saw the large number of walkers outside. Guilmon and Coronamon heard the screams of Richu being bitten to death. Guilmon looked to see the heard was swarming from them on that side. All three of them ran for the double doors. Pikachu ran in first sliding the door and almost got grabbed by the walkers outside. Guilmon and Coronamon got the sliding doors stuck. Guilmon held one side and Coronamon covered the other. The walkers gathered on. Guilmon yelled, "We don't have enough bullets to cover this." Pikachu noticed his gun pack slid off on the outside. Guilmon said, "I'll break the glass and you go for the ammo." Pikachu pressed again both sides, "No way. I'm going die out there." Guilmon said, "You won't die I promise, just do this. We can hold them here but we have to be careful. Count to three and I'll go." Pikachu got ready and Guilmon started hitting the glass with his gun. Pikachu started to push out. It gave more leeway to the side Coronamon was holding. Coronamon yelled, "Hurry up and grab the ammo." Pikachu noticed how far it slipped out. He slipped further out and fled under the walkers. The ones inside grabbed Coronamon and pulled at his leg. Coronamon yelped, "Help me!" Guilmon grabbed his upper body pulling with all his might. Coronamon eyes watered up, "Don't let go!" He was pulled inside and Guilmon watched as his face was plastered against the wall and the right side of his face was ripped open. He screamed in agony and more fingers grabbed and clawed at his right side. His left side was gnawed off. Guilmon watched in true terror never seeing death so close and personal as this. Falco got the van and that dub step to lure the walkers from the outside away. Pikachu got to the van first and said, "Open up." Falco got out, "Where are the others?" Pikachu said, "Forget them, there as good as dead." Guilmon came out and punched Pikachu down." Falco asked, "Where is Coronamon?" Guilmon just shook his head. They started to head back.
Fox had taken to the fields to help build other parts of the wall. They were also attacked by walkers. He looked on as the others left one of the younger female Pokemon behind. Fox went in super brave and super tough. He got her to safety and helped cleared the area. Zangoose was in his house with Lena. Zangoose said, "It's strange too see that you've only been here for two days and already we have Guilmon leading runs and now Fox is taken charge. But we needed this guidance. Scourge and helping get new recruits, this really is the start of something new." Lena nodded and went downstairs. Zangoose heard a knock on the door. She opened it up and it was Starmon. He came inside and said, "I know you think you can trust Veemon's group. But I joined them recently...and the devil hides himself among the light. I've seen this group do unspeakable things..." Lena started to head back up and listened in. Starmon continued, "This won't remain a paradise if you keep Veemon's group here. They are true monsters...true devils."
Blackgatomon was getting ready for when Scourge returned. That young male Pokemon retuned. She asked, "What are you doing here?" He said, "I wanted more cookies." She said, "No more for now." He said, "Do you think I could stay here for a while?" her has gained a focus, "Why?" He said, "I sometimes break things. But I was hoping to learn how to cook myself. I was hoping you could teach me." She asked, "Why don't you ask your mom." The little Vulpix looked away and said, "I think it'd be better if you did it." He suddenly ran away. She said, "Wait..." She walked over to Veemon's house. Veemon looked at her and she said, "That male Vulpix and abusing them, the kid and the wife." Veemon asked, "Did the kid tell you that?" She shook her head, "He didn't have to. I've seen the looks on his face." Veemon asked, "So what should I do about the male Vulpix?" She crossed her arms, "There is only one solution to this. You're going to have to kill him."
