Past, Present, and Future

Some would say that history has a way of repeating itself no matter how much we try to learn from the past. Over and over again we fight, kill, run, cry, attack, battle, and try to find a better way. Is this because we are all just copies of out parents or is it just the way of things to kill. Can the future be changed for the better or can it only be altered, but all in all still come out the same. I believe that we can change the future and be different from out parents. Nothing but the past is set in stone.

This passage was something Drako's mother had told him as a child. He used to think it was something she used to say to help herself sleep at night after his father Toga had left the pack. He used to listen to her say this kind of thing time and time again making him believe it more every time she spoke. Drako's mother Abby was a normal grey wolf like all the other's in the pack but something about her took every one in and made them lover her.

She was the first one to get up every morning to great the day and everyone else she saw. She always had a smile on her face even up to the day she passed away when Drako was still only a pup. He could still remember that day like it had just happened. She had died from a sickness and even to the day she passed she still loved Toga.

"That ass hole." Said Drako as he walked through the dark woods

He wasn't sure why he was thinking about this all now but what else did he have to do while he searched for some sign of Demona or Drakonis. Two day's had passed now since Drako had transformed into Chaos only to re-gain control after a long hard fight with the thing now living inside of his soul. Drako was finding it harder and harder to keep the virus at bay but he knew he had to hold out for only a bit longer. Once he found Drakonis he would kill himself and the monster at the same time. But still he couldn't help thinking back to his father and life as a child.

"Why did this all have to happen mother? I don't understand." Said Drako to the empty air

"Talking to yourself again?" Said Malvado or Chaos as he called himself now speaking from the depths of his mind

"Shut up." Said Drako as he walked on

"What... you have no one else to talk with so why not chat with me for a while." Said Chaos

"You aren't what I would call a friendly person to chat with." Said Drako

"Fine then bore yourself to death see if I care sooner or later I'll be the only person you'll have to talk with." Said Chaos going back to the back of Drako's mind

Drako tired to forget the little interruption then he started thinking back again to the day's after he left the pack when his mother died and when he met his new pack. The leaders name was Tosh and he was a mean wolf that loved to pick on younger wolves and pups all the time. Drako was called Ray still back then and the only reason he joined the pack was because he wanted to be strong and Tosh was one of the strongest in the land.

Drako could remember it now...

"So you think you have what it takes to be in my pack, you can't be any older than a year and a couple months." Said Tosh

"I can beat any of your fighters in single combat." Said Drako

"You think so then well if you can beat my brother Foster then I'll let you join the pack." Said Tosh

"I'll do it." said Drako

"Ok then, Foster you're up. Kill the little tramp so we can be on our way." Said Tosh to a large grey wolf next to him

"Sure thing brother." Said Foster walking toward Drako with a look of murder in his eyes

Drako looked up at the older wolf without saying a word or showing any fear at all. Foster smiled and attacked only to have his muzzle hit the hard grand with a sickening thud. Drako had dodged the attack so fast that no one had seen him move. Drako ran at Foster fangs bared as he jumped on to the larger wolves back and he bit down on one of Foster's ears. Foster howled in pain as Drako pulled hard then ripped the ear off before jumping off and biting the wolves right front leg.

Foster was so confused by the little wolf's speed and the pain from losing his ear that he couldn't fight back. Drako snapped the leg he had hold of then as Foster was falling Drako took hold of Foster neck. He held him there for a full minute letting out little growls as he looked at the pack. Then Drako let Foster go and he backed up a few feet.

Drako then looked back at Tosh without showing any emotion he said "Done, Now may I join your pack Tosh the mighty?"

Tosh looked at his brother then at Drako and he said in a quivering voice "What was your name yearling?"

"I have no name and I'm not a yearling I'm still only seven months old." Said Drako not wanting anyone but his mother to call him by his real name, only she could call him Ray

"You're joking." Said Tosh

"I never joke. Now am I in or not." Said Drako

"There will be only two rules in this pack. First is do everything I say and second is stay away from my daughter Luna."

Drako saw the pup behind him, she couldn't be much older than he was. Drako smiled and said "I'll do my best sir."

"See that you do because if you break my rules you'll be killed."

As time passed Tosh didn't treat Drako any better, they never gave him a name but called him Runt even though by the time he had reached a year he was bigger than the rest of them. Drako didn't care what Tosh said he did as he pleased. Tosh didn't like this at all but since Drako always won any fight he was in and made sure Tosh's name was never used in a bad way the leader let him off. What Tosh didn't know was that Luna and The Runt had become fast friends.

Luna had never met anyone like Drako before and she fell for him fast. The day she told him was just as clear as the day his mother died. It was also the same day Drako found out about what Tosh's real goal in life was.

"Father wants to be named after the war god Drako-Lupus. The other packs say if he wins one more fight without losing he'll be named Drako and also the most powerful wolf in the land."

"What happens if someone beats him after he is to be called Drako?" asked Drako

"The one that can kill him will be named Drako in his place." Said Luna

"I'll do it. Your father shouldn't take the name or be called the strongest fighter. It's all a lie, the war god is kind and powerful and that's not what your father is." Said Drako

"I don't like how my father treats everyone it would be nice to see him fall. I think you could do it too my love." Said Luna

"What did you call me?" said Drako

"Sorry, it's just that I have feelings for you..." started Luna

"I do for you too, don't worry I'll take the name and be a better wolf than any before Me." said Drako

And who would have known that that day would come so soon. Tosh had won two more fights at one time and the wolves of the land gathered to watch as he was named the most powerful wolf in the land. Drako's Blood boiled as he watched the leaders of the pack's telling everyone how great he was. He couldn't hold back any longer.

Drako attacked Tosh without giving him any warning but to his surprise Tosh dodged The Runts fangs and he grabbed him by the back of the neck and threw him into a rock. Tosh giggled and said "You see no one can win. This wolf pup here with no name is my most powerful fighter and not even he can best me in battle. I'm all powerful and take the war god's name proudly and the station that comes with it."

"No you won't." yelled Drako and this time he landed his attack

Tosh couldn't speak at all as Drako's fangs sunk deep into his neck. Blood started to poor out then Drako jerked his head upwards taking a big chunk of flesh with him. Tosh gasped for air but it didn't help him at all. Drako had ripped out the wolf's wind pipe. He looked up at The Runt's face, anger filling his eyes.

"This is what happens to the ones like you Tosh. I take your title as pack leader, your land, your daughter, and the name of the war god." Said Drako looking down at the older wolf

Tosh died right after that and the wolf pack's that were watching all stood wondering what to do. The leaders all talked and within two hours he was named Drako the Strong. He thought life was going to be easy after that. He won many battles, kept humans away from his pack, mated his love Luna for the first time, got rid of the bad members of his back, and was about to watch as his mate was going to have pup's. Then after almost a year it all happened...The humans attacked his land killing everyone in the pack even Luna.

"It's funny how my first mate was called Luna and so was my sister. Who would have ever thought this would all happen to me and in such a short time. I can't believe it's been almost four years since then." Said Drako coming out of his old memories

"I've changed so much since then yet still I feel like I'm the same stupid pup looking for power." Said Drako

He continued west for another few minutes until he smelled something on the air that he knew. His heart skipped a beat as the sniffed harder and Demona's faint scent came to him flowing from his left. He had finally found her after two days of nonstop looking. He wasn't sure he would ever find her in this time thinking Drakonis had taken her back to his time. Drako turned and followed he smell for almost a mile.

He stopped when a large evil looking cave came into view and he could see the monster Drakonis eating a large dead buck right outside the cave's mouth. He hadn't seen or heard anything yet so Drako ducked behind a bolder and started to think of what he should do next.

"Don't you want to kill him now for what he did to your Demona?" said Chaos again waking up from the depths of Drako's mind

"Shut up and let me think." Said Drako with his mind knowing Chaos would hear it

Chaos did just that but this time he stayed at the front of Drako's mind to watch everything that was happening. Drako was getting used to him doing things like this now so he ignored him and started to think of what to do. As he was thinking Drakonis got to his paws and walked off into the woods leaving the cave mouth unguarded.

Drako was in luck but he was still carful as he got up and started to make his way toward the cave mouth. Then a thought crossed his mind "What if he's keeping any eye out for me or someone looking for her." Drako knew he needed to get Demona out of the cave first before he fought Drakonis. He reached deep within himself digging into the many powers he now had until he found the one to make himself invisible. Once the power was used Drako continued to walk over to the cave.

It smelled like dirt, blood, sweet, and dried cum. It wasn't as big as it had looked from the outside and in the far corner was a dirty grayish white wolfess. Drako ran over to her and made himself visible again. He ran up to Demona and stared to shake her to help wake her up.

She opened her eyes and looked up at him, it took her a moment to focus then she smiled and said in a weak voice "I told him you would come for me."

"And you were right my love." Said Drako liking her face then he gagged at the taste of dried cum

"Sorry my love he has been using me as his toy for the last two days." Said Demona tears running down her snout

"It's ok I'm here now and there's nothing he can do to hurt you anymore." Said Drako

"My love I think we'll be able to leave soon." Said Drakonis's voice as he walked into the cave mouth then he stopped at the sight of Drako

"Shit, Demona we need to leave at once." Said Drako baring his teeth at Drakonis

Drakonis on the other hand only stood there looking at Drako in wonder as he said "I don't understand you shouldn't have found me. This isn't what happened at all."

"The future isn't always set in stone Drakonis." Said Drako "Come one Demona I'll use the transportation power to get you home."

"But I did everything the way it happened to me, I went back all the way to the time when my mate died. I killed the farmer's cattle and everything so that way they would kill the pack and make you go off and later find Ariel and everything else." Said Drakonis

Drako stopped what he was doing and he looked back at Drakonis with anger in his eyes and he growled "What did you just say?"

"Drako don't. Let's just get out of here now. We don't need to fight him here, not yet." Said Demona trying to get to her paws

"Demona go back to the other's and be safe I have unfinished business with him. I'll send you off to Sheba's old land; the pack may be there since I destroyed Drako's Peak." Said Drako still looking at the monster blocking the cave mouth

"No Drako you can't..." started Demona but in a flash of green light she vanished

Drakonis started to laugh then as he said "I see now, my past and your past aren't that same. I am you but a different you."

"I don't care one bit about that Drakonis tell me what you meant when you said you had Luna Killed." Said Drako

"It's simple I needed to make sure everything went how it was suppose to so that way I would be born. I didn't just show up a few months ago, no I showed up years ago to make sure everything went how it should." Said Drakonis "It started with making the humans hate your pack, they went and killed every wolf but you Drako just like what happened to me. I lead the hunters to the cave you stayed in with Ariel and Bain so that way you would meet Ti and go off to Sheba's land. I made sure Demona's mother got sick so she would be killed by her daughter's paws and later she would meet you on the run. I helped Luna's old mate Fang find the humans that helped him kill her pack. All in all everything that has happened to you is because I made it so."

"So you're the one who's made my life a like this." Said Drako

"Yes but still even thought everything went the way it should have you're still here and you saved her. I don't know what I did wrong." Said Drakonis "Well who care's I'll just beat you down and go back for now I don't care about that bitch anymore."

"All this time you've been doing this and for what to get Demona back." Said Drako

"No my friend, I had to do it so that way you would find your way to Sheba then to Talon who would make you into me. When it happened to me Demona was taken by the Drakonis I know so I did the same thing as he did." Said Drakonis

"You're a monster." Said Drako

"I know but I don't care one bit. I'm tired of this." And with that Drakonis attack but in Drako's rage he lost all control of his mind and Chaos took it over again.

This time Drako knew it was too much; Chaos locked Drako's soul away using some kind of magic. He would never again be able to fight back and take control of his body again. He had lost, He would now transform into that monster he hated so much or maybe he would become something worse. Like his mother said Nothing but the past is set in stone. Drako started to fade away into the darkness of the mind that now had full control over him.

All that Drakonis saw was a flash of black light that threw his body away and broke the cave into dust. Drakonis picked himself up off the ground and looked up at the larger than life black wolf that was like him but not like him at the same time. Drakonis knew something went wrong. This had never happened to him before. But if it didn't happen to him then why wasn't he just like the monster now that the past had been changed.

"You don't know why you are still the same even though I have become so strong." Said Chaos

"I don't understand." Said Drakonis

"It's because the Malvado Virus and its host lives outside the river of time. If the past changes it doesn't mean you will." Said Chaos

"Then I can kill you. Who cares what happens to you if it won't hurt Me." said Drakonis then he attacked

Chaos smiled and did the same, the two animals slammed into each other so hard that their energy shot outwards turning the trees within a half mile into dust. They ripped and tore at each other's flesh trying to pull the other one's head off. The only problem was that they could both heal quickly so every bite and scratch healed in seconds. This meant that the winner of the fight would be who would run out of energy first.

If a human would have been in the upper reaches of this area of woods at the time they would have thought the end of the world was on its way. The two monsters used every kind of power they could think of to try and kill the other. Chaos fired his black energy blasts while Drakonis fired powerful flames. Sometimes they would hit each other only to have the burn or torn skin heal. They crushed trees and made huge gashes into the ground as they ripped and bit at each other. It was like watching two gods fighting.

But back in the land where Sheba had controlled so long ago the now small pack of wolves sheltered themselves in as night rolled in. They had all said there good-bye's to the wolves that had helped them fight Talon's army. Only Sheba, Ray, Riley, Fell, Bain, Ti, Sarah, Tella, Luna, Luke, Trixey, and Kent were left trying to think of a way to help Drako in his fight. They hadn't heard anything from him in two day's but they knew he would come back with Demona soon even after he told them what he planned to do.

As they all huddled in the biggest cave waiting for sleep to overtake them Sheba saw a flash of Green light come from outside of the cave. She got up and said to Ray "I think they're back."

Ray got up too and the two of them walked outside and they looked out onto the large field that led up to the falls. The snow was almost gone by now so they were able to make out Demona's body huddled on the ground not far away.

"It's Demona." Said Sheba

"I can see that but where is my father?" said Ray

Luna came out of the cave along with Bain and Ti and she said "She looks hurt I'll take care of It." then she ran off

"But still where is my father?" said Ray walking after her

The rest of the pack had gotten up too and they all started to follow also except for Riley who kept an eye on Fell and Sarah. They all made it up to Demona around the same time. The look of horror was the same on every face when they saw what Drakonis had done to her. Drako hadn't seen everything when he found her but Demona wasn't doing to good.

She had cut's all over her body, she was missing a piece of her left ear, her pussy had been stretched and ripped same for her tail vent, and she was hurt in many smaller way's too. She looked up at them and tried to speak but her weak body wouldn't let her.

"Hold on Demona I'll help you." Said Luna running forward

Her eye's went yellow and so did Demona's body. It took a few minutes but Luna was able to get Demona back to her full health. She stood up tears running down her face as she said "Drako's going to fight Drakonis."

"We know he told us." Said Ray then he stared to tell her everything that had happened since Luna had came back

By the time he was done Demona looked like she was going to faint but she managed to say "I won't lose him not now."

"I wonder why he's fighting Drakonis anyway. I mean if he does kill himself wont Drakonis die too?" said Ti

Sheba spoke next sounding shocked as she said "I understand now."

"What do you understand?" said Ray

"The host of the Malvado Virus never get's old, that's because they don't live in the river of time like everyone else." Said Sheba

"What does that mean?" said Bain

"It means that if Drakonis kills Drako then Drakonis will still be around, past or future selves don't matter to them." Said Sheba

They all looked at each other not knowing what to do next. Nothing made sense anymore and nothing could be done. Then they heard the boom way off in the distance. It sounded like something was trying to bring the forest down.

"What is that." Said Riley who had walked up the them with Fell and Sarah

Fell was still small but he was now big enough to walk on his own and fallow his mother. Sarah had walked over to her two fathers and she stayed close to them as they watched the flashes of light that went off every time right before a loud boom.

"Chaos and Drakonis." Said Bain

"How do you know?" said the others

"I've known Drako for a long time and the two monsters that are fighting aren't Drako." said Bain

Demona started to cry as Ray said "Then we lost him. Father won't be able to come back this time."

Luke was standing on Luna's shoulder and he hugged her ear as she started to cry too. That same went for everyone else, they all cried not just for the loss of Drako but for the loss of their world. They all knew what would happen next once one of the two monsters won the fight. It was over, Finally evil had won.

Back with Drakonis and Chaos the fight was going in favor of Chaos just how we all knew it would. Drakonis was starting to heal slower now a sign that he was losing his energy faster than Chaos was. The monster wolf wanted to win but he knew that he was out matched by this Chaos. After the last attack he jumped away from Chaos letting a grin come to his face.

"I can see I'm a little out matched. We'll need to continue this battle another time." Said Drakonis and with a flash of green he was gone

Chaos didn't shout or try to chase him down. He simply smiled and said "Next time then my friend I was getting tired of the fight anyway. I think I'll go have some fun killing the last few things that made Drako happy." And in a flash of black Chaos vanished too

He reappeared an instant later right next to the pack of wolves that had been crying at the loss of Drako. Demona screamed and yelled "Is that him?"

"Yes my dear I'm called Chaos." Said Chaos

The wolves started to back away shaking at the sight of him. Demona on the other had stood her ground and she yelled "I promised that I wouldn't let him go no madder the cost. If I have to die with you Drako then so be it." and with that her body exploded into flames.

Demona's rage was so great that not even Chaos could stand the intense heat flowing off the wolf's body. The others had to run as far as they could to get away from it. The stone that made the caves and cliff started to drip as they slowly melted. Chaos wasn't smiling any more as he looked down into the center of the burning fire. A white speck could be seen in the middle of it.

Chaos tried to use one of his ice powers but he couldn't get it to work. The air was to dry for him to form any kind of ice. He knew that even he couldn't stand up to a heat like that unless he had the power for himself. Then he remembered that Drako had Absorbed her power once before. So this must mean he could use the same power as her making it so he wouldn't burn up. He searched for the power but all he could find was a flame power Talon had obtained years ago. The power was nothing like Demona's and it wouldn't stand a chance. He didn't understand was a guardian's power different from those of the wolves of power and the Demon Angel's.

But he had used it before so maybe the difference was you had to be close to them to use a Guardian's power. Chaos tried to withstand the heat for as long as he could as he used Drako's main power. The power to copy reached out toward Demona but something stopped it inches away. He tried again but still he couldn't come within a few inch's of Demona.

The heat intensified and Demona said "Chaos you fool the power of a Guardian can't be copied like that of a common wolf. It has to be shared with the one who wishes to use it. Drako has used my power before which is the power of the sun but I let him use it. You are not my love Drako but an evil monster that love to kill and destroy so I won't let you use any of my power. Instead I'm going to let you see what the power of The Lord of Flame is like."

Chaos could feel his body trying to repair itself as the heat started to eat away at his skin. He growled and in a desperate move he attacked the center of the flames. Two red dot's flashed and the white shape that must have been Demona vanished. Chaos felt his side burn as something ran by him but by the time he looked around it had gone. Flames seemed to be everywhere filling the air with smoke and keeping Demona's body hidden from sight. The monster wolf growled and yelled as his frustration and anger grew.

Then another idea came to him and he smiled as he looked for Demona's white form and Red eyes. He spotted them and he attacked again and as before Demona flashed by him trying to burn him some more. Only this time when he felt the heat next to him he let out a blast of black red energy that knocked Demona's form off its path and sent her flying through the air. She screamed as her body slammed into a rock at the top of the falls that was fifty feet above them. Then she fell into the river making a cloud of steam as the water cooled her body down.

By the time it was done half Demona was being pulled out of the river by Luna and Ray. Chaos looked around at all the fire still eating up the world around him. He didn't really care what happened to the forest but he was sick of the flames so he put a foot onto the water feeling how cool it was. Then he used the water from the river and evaporated air around him to throw out a long ice attack. The fire went out as the ground froze.

Chaos hopped he had taken out the others with the attack but to his disappointment they had taken refuge behind the rocks and Demona was so hot still that Luna and Ray hadn't been frozen at all.

"Pity, well I can't always get my way right away can I?" said Chaos walking over to Demona, Luna, and Ray

They tried to get up but Demona was weak from over using her power and the other two wouldn't leave her behind. Demona looked at them as Chaos drew closer and she said "Leave me. I want to die with Drako."

"No you don't Demona and Drako doesn't want you to die too. He risked his own life to make sure you would be safe." Said Luna trying to pull her along

"Sorry you two but Drako won't ever be himself again. I won't have any reason to live if he's not with me." Said Demona

"You don't know that." Said Ray trying to pull her too but they were too late Chaos had made it up to them

He smiled at them showing off his Blood Red Teeth then he said "Good Bye."

As he said this the little pup Fell ran across the field toward his father. Riley tried to stop him but Sheba held her back as she yelled "Fell...NO..."

As the little pup made it over to his father and he turned to look at the monster that was smiling down at them something strange happened. First Chaos tried to shoot a blast of energy at the four wolves. Only it stopped inches away from Fell's body. Then the power started to shrink and flow into Fell until Chaos had let the power go. They all looked at the pup with amazement not knowing what to say or do. This little pup that could barely talk had just absorbed one of Chaos's strongest attacks like it was nothing.

Then another strange thing happened, the pup's eye's glowed black and the energy he had just absorbed fired back toward its owner only five times more powerful. Chaos was thrown back over a hundred feet landing hard on his back. He got up and looked at them, his face burnt and mangled. As he looked at them his face started to heal but something else started to happen.

Whatever Fell's power was it wasn't done showing itself yet. The wolf pup's body turned whit and he opened his mouth and out from it came four white shards of light. The light landed on the ground and transformed into ghost like wolves only less transparent. Chaos looked at the four wolves with shock a sort of pain in his eyes.

"Who are they?" said Ray looking at the four wolves

A tear came to Luna's face as she looked at one of them, a tall black furred wolf. She started to cry as she said "The one on the end with the black fur is Drako and My father Toga."

And so it was Toga was standing at the front of the four and to everyone's surprise the other wolf next to him was a beautiful blue eyed one they all know all too well, It was Ariel, The third was Drako's first mate Luna, and the last was Abby Drako's mother. They all looked at Chaos with anger and love on their faces. No one moved except for the large wolf Chaos who only laughed and said "Is this all you have, four dead wolves to protect you."

He ran at them but stopped a few feet away. He looked shocked at the reaction of his body. Ariel walked forward and said in what sounded like a far off voice "Chaos you can't hurt us as long as you're in Drako's body. We are the four he misses most in life and to hurt us would go against all he believes in."

"You can't win anymore demon." Said Abby

"You have lost." Said the dead Luna

"He is no longer your prisoner." Said Toga

"Shut up you're all dead so you can't be real or even hurt me. I took over and locked Drako away forever. There is no way he can ever find his way out of the darkness." Said Chaos

"For a normal wolf yes...But Drako is not a normal wolf now is he." Said Ariel

As she said this Chaos's body had started to shrink and he yelled "No I don't understand this at all."

Then another wolf showed itself appearing from nowhere and striking fear into them all. The wolf was large and he had dark red fur, mean looking eye's and black strips on his back. At first everyone was frightened of him until he smiled and said in a kind voice "Malvado Virus or the one who calls himself Chaos, I am the lord of the heavens and leader of war, but you may call me Drako-Lupus."

They all looked shocked but none more than Chaos who yelled "You can't be in this world. The gods can't meddle in mortal's lives."

"True but seeing how you're not a mortal then we can do what we want." Said Drako-Lupus

Luna walked over to the large red wolf and said "Did Nordic send you and did you bring the other's here as well?"

"Luna he did send for me but the four wolves you see are not my doing. The young pup has a great gift and it has helped keep Chaos at bay. He can't move with them so close. Drako is starting to take control again." Said the war god

"I thought he would be lost forever." Said Luna

"Not if the one's he misses and loves the most are around. No darkness can keep away a light as powerful as love." Said the war god

"But what about when they leave he'll only take over like before." Said Ray walking up to them and looking out at his dead mother

"No he won't that is why I am here. I need to fix the things I let get so out of hand." Said the god walking up to the body of Chaos

"You can't do anything to stop me you can't..." yelled Chaos but Drako-Lupus blew on him only one time. But with that breath came something incredible. A small green light shot out of Chaos's head but only it wasn't Chaos's head anymore but Drako's. His body had been returned to normal again.

"Now be gone span of evil." Said Drako-Lupus and with that the green light vanished and Drako's body fell to the ground

It was over, Chaos was gone and Drako was back to normal. Drako looked up then at the four wolves in front of him and he said in a weak voice "Thank you. But how."

"Ray my little Ray or Drako now I guess, that little grandson of yours did it. He called for us to come help you." Said Abby

"We knew you would need to see us one last time." Said Ariel

Drako was happy but he couldn't help looking at Toga his father. Drako was able to find the energy then to stand as he said "You're an ass hole for what you did father."

Luna ran up to them both and said "Drako please don't..." but Toga cut her off

"Luna my love calm yourself he has every right to be angry with me.
