In 1990, the Human Genome Project is started, and in 2003, completed. This gave the medical field essentially a "Human Manual" to uncover exactly how each part of the body works together. However, it is still a very basic understanding, and will later be found to be more useful than intended.In 2013, a ten year Human Brain Project was started, only to be fully completed in the year 2028. This gave the intended insight into the human brain, however, it unintentionally uncovered the exact understanding and existence of consciousness, and, more importantly, how it could be stored. Further research into the field of consciousness study would be required, however. By this time, studies of the Human Genome Project have given leading scientists almost everything they've needed to create an artificial human body. All previous human cloning projects have failed. At the age of approximately four years of age, 8 human clones have died, causing moral issues to be raised. Human cloning has been banned globally. Theories suggest without consciousness, human clones cannot be sustained.In the year 2023, several countries globally unite with a former terrorist group known as Isis. This group becomes known as the National World Army. This raised concerns with the United Nations, however, they were quickly marked as a low-threat religious group.In 2029, The NWA released several campaigns showing illegal human cloning experiments. The organization led many people to believe in corruption in the United Nations, eventually recruiting as many as 56 countries, including Russia, China, and India in the year of 2034. The NWA was officially marked as a national high-threat terrorist group by the UN.In 2030, It was discovered that with advances in biological studies, hybrids between different species could be easily created. A year later, it was found that human genes could be mixed with certain animals, creating human-animal hybrids, known as Anthros. This angered many religious groups, including the NWA, who declared war on all nations within the United Nations, as these hybrids were seen as "Unnatural Experimentation". Most scientific studies were halted.By 2038, the United States were the last country in the United Nations left, as the others had either been destroyed or assimilated. Anthros that had been created began to breed, quickly becoming part of the war, fighting for their own survival in several countries globally. The United States threatened the NWA with nuclear launch if the organization did not stop the war within a years time.In 2039, almost overrun by NWA soldiers, the United States launched several nuclear missiles across the globe. The NWA did the same to the US. Nuclear fallout quickly destroyed many countries, plaguing the entire planet with intense radiation. Almost all life on earth had been destroyed instantly.In 2040, all human life is wiped out completely. The Anthros are surprisingly resilient and can resist higher levels of radiation before becoming ill. The nuclear winter has minimal effects on certain areas of the world, which most of the anthropic race flock to for survival. To increase population, some Anthros resort to interbreeding, while few others mate with feral animals. This creates extreme diversity in the Anthro race.The year is 2352, and the world has already recovered fully from the nuclear launch. Anthros dominate the planet. Not many tell the tale of the great war, some have marked it as a myth, and many others don't even know about the story's existence. 80% of the race speak fluent english, taught by their parents. Very few study old languages from the surrounding rubble. Earth has been mostly grown over by vegetation, and very few relics of the modern age remain.The world has nearly forgotten the human race, starting again with an entirely new species.
