Luna Whimpered, waking with a sharp pain in her side, while her ears pinned against her head. she opened an eye weakly, only to shut it tight when she felt a hard hit against her side, and she whimpered harshly, being tackled by an umbreon. one from the shadow hounds group. she soon blacked out, her whole body aching in pain as everything around her slowly faded away into black.

She awoke soon after, the pain from the attack still easily noticeable in her body, she huffed a bit, opening an eye to look around, and noticing that no one was around, she opened both, to start searching around the area she were in, she could hear voices talking, they seemed to chatting about catching more pokemon, so she took this as an easy way to escape.

Once she heard them stop talking, she got up. and started walking to the entrance of the den, the umbreon were walking off slowly in the dark of the night, so she went the opposite way of where they were heading, after a few steps though, she remembered Rogue. and quickly bolted forward, ignoring the pain in her side while she tried her best to get to his den. Soon after sprinting along the grass, she made it to the den, and quickly turned to run in.

She saw Rogue, covered in blood, his Muzzle wrapped shut by a vine, while his ears laid flat against his head. She let out a sad and depressed whimper, before she got down to his level to start biting and nibbling at the vine.

it didn't take very long at all to get it off. and once she did, he started panting immediately, his rings low in light while her rings glowed brightly for the two. she started lapping at his muzzle and eyes, cleaning off as much of the blood as she could before she started to feel sick.

"L-Luna...g-go...please." "No...i won't leave you like this Rogue, your hurt, i will take you some place safe." Luna then got up,before she moved her maw down to bite at his scruff, then lifting him enough to where he didn't touch the ground, and started walking out of the den. carrying Rogue like he were her cub.

Once out of the den, she could here loud howling and noises coming from the direction of where the Shadow hounds were, so she quickly turned and ran as fast as she could manage, in the opposite direction. Although soon after running, she could barely move anymore. Her body ached, her muscles tightened, she didn't know how long she could go without passing out over exhaustion.

"Hey, Luna please....Let me go. save yourself, i will be fine." Rogue said with a slight whimper, every word he said making Luna's Teeth sink more into his fur, so he stopped talking and kept his mouth shut.

Night soon fell, it were much darker then most nights, and by the looks of it. rain was about to fall hard, so she continued to walk slowly, forcing herself to stay awake despite her body trying to give up. Luckily for her, she soon found a nice spot to rest, it were a large tree, with huge roots coming out and around the ground, while one of the roots created a small cave like hole, that would be a safe place to stay, and would protect them from the rain.

With quick pace, she pulled him into the area, before letting him go and allowing him the freedom to move around again. he quickly started lapping at his fur, trying to clean off the blood and groom his fur back into shape. Luna blushed at this, before turning away from him "okay Rogue, you take care of that and i am going to find some berries, okay?" Rogue nodded to her, but not really paying much attention to the female for the time and focused purely on his fur

Luna Searched around the trees for any berry bushes. but to no avail. she found nothing, only a few dead ones which had no eatable berries left on it. so her search continued. she wandered about the large forest ground with a huff, her rings providing light for her so that she could see easily. but even with the help of light, she couldn't find any, so she thought to try something else, lowering her nose to the ground, she sniffed curiously, getting a few scents of pokemon that had passed by there. before she started following the scents with a smirk. soon enough, she found a berry bush, with about five berries left, she took them into her maw joyfully, and started going back to her small part time home.

Rogue shuddered a bit, him continuing to lap at his fur eagerly trying to remove the blood from it. he actually did an impressive job on cleaning himself, most his fur was cleaned and put back into place, although his face remained covered with blood, he stirred a bit in the comfy and small little cave like thing that Luna had found. he liked it quite a lot, but it wouldn't end well if he were to choose to live there for the rest of his life.

Luna Soon arrived back at her resting place. she trotted over to Where Rogue laid, and dropped the berries in front of him, before crawling under the large root and laying down beside Rogue. He happily started eating some of the berries, while Luna did the same, grabbing whatever was left of the berries to eat.

The two ate together quietly, their sides pressed together to warm each other. Rogue finished his berries before Luna, and once he did. he turned to her curiously, moving over to give her neck a few licks of appreciation "Thanks Luna. i'm glad to have met you, i would probably be dead if it wasn't for you." Luna blushed, the lick sending a large shiver down her spine and making her gulp down the berries that were left in her muzzle before she spoke "oh well, your welcome. i couldn't leave you there anyways. i would hate myself if i left you behind..." Luna stopped herself for a moment, before looking out into the dark with a huff.

Rogue murred at the umbreon's warmth, causing his body to tingle a bit. and since it were night time, they would most likely stay like that for the rest of the night, which made her smirk happily and chuckle a bit "hey Luna, what made you come to my den today?" The shiny umbreon asked, slightly blushing at the question "i-i don't know, you just smelled nice, your scent attracted me...i couldn't help myself..." Luna huffed a bit, her tail wagging slightly "okay well, i think we should rest, we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow." Rogue then yawned, laying his head down on the ground with a sigh.

He watched the dark space in front of him, the only things being seen were the other trees that covered most the forest ground. Luna soon fell into a light sleep, her head resting on Rogues back while he just enjoyed himself while it lasted, he couldn't help but think of how lucky he were to have found such a loving umbreon. he had no idea she would be the one that would save his life, and maybe even become his mate.

He fell asleep soon after Luna, falling into a love filled dream about her for the rest of the night. them both sleeping peacefully and calmly together.
