The Conversion of Denem for Sanmer by Draconicon
Leo hesitated outside his office door. The lion mayor of Denem was more than a bit concerned about this meeting, and he felt he had good reason to be.
Ever since Sir Fenris, their paladin protector, had gone off chasing a naga infestation, the lion had been happier than he'd ever been in his life. So had most of the town, for that matter; the protection of the church, while all well and good, was stifling in the extreme. More than a few of the younger generation felt that they would be better off without the church rules, and there were times when Leo agreed with them. During the wolf knight's absence, the town was surprisingly free and open, and Leo had almost hoped that their protector wouldn't come back. Yes, it would have meant dealing with a new paladin that they knew nothing about as a replacement, but that was in the future, rather than the now.
But Sir Fenris had come back. In fact, he was waiting on the other side of the door, having returned in the middle of the night and snuck into Leo's residence without any warning. The lion still didn't like the feeling of having his home violated, but it was part of the paladin's civil powers, to be able to enter any home at any time.
What worried him wasn't how Sir Fenris would react to the town during his absence, nor what he might find in his home. What worried him was the abruptness of the whole thing. The wolf might have been a pain in the ass, but he was always by the book. He didn't sneak, he didn't pull surprises, and he always kept to procedure. And this was the furthest from procedure that he'd ever seen.
But there was no avoiding it. Taking a deep breath, Leo opened the door and stepped into the meeting room.
Sir Fenris sat at the opposite side of a large round table, looking almost...happy. Ecstatic, even, a look that the lion had never imagined ascribing to the stuffy canine. It was so shocking that the lion paused in the doorway for nearly a minute before walking to the table.
"I suppose I should welcome you back, Sir Fenris. The town has...missed you."
"I doubt that the town has done anything of the sort, Leo."
"Mayor Leo, please."
"Mayor."
The wolf shook his head, and the mayor cleared his throat.
"So, I presume you have cleared out the nest?"
"Hmm?"
"The nagas. You've...destroyed them?"
"Actually, I haven't."
Such news seemed impossible, particularly from such a calm paladin. To have failed in his mission should have rendered the wolf nearly inarticulate, Leo thought, but no, he was as calm as ever.
Sir Fenris stood up, walking around the table.
"I did find them, but they did not merit destruction. I learned that there are...gaps, I suppose, in the church's teachings. There are things that we take for granted that are far from true, and things that are true that we believe are nothing but lies. I wish that I had learned of this before; it would have saved me a lot of grief, and probably left me in better graces with you and your people."
"P-perhaps, Sir Fenris, perhaps."
This cannot be the wolf that left us just a few weeks ago. What has happened to him?
The mayor watched him, astonished at the other things he was seeing. The stiffness in the wolf's walk was gone, as was the way that he looked down his nose at everybody. Something had brought about a genuine change, and it was as shocking as it was major.
"What, pray tell, will happen with the nagas?"
"I arranged a treaty with them."
"A t- Are you crazy?" Leo stood up. "Even I know they're dangerous beyond compare. What treaty could you offer them?"
"A very simple one."
At that point, Leo felt something brush against his ankle. The lion nudged it away, but it returned a second later. Irritably, he looked down, and froze.
Around his ankle was part of a snake's coiled tail. It was already wrapped twice around his leg, and was slowly twisting up higher. Even as Leo pulled at his leg, he realized that the snake holding him must be massively strong, because he couldn't move.
"Fenris! Help me!"
"No. This is part of the treaty."
As the shocked lion continued to struggle, a scaled head emerged on the other side of the table. It led down to a humanoid torso, and a pair of arms folded over it. A naga. Leo shook his head, pointing at it.
"You're controlled, paladin! Fight it!"
"I am not controlled, but enlightened. There is nothing in the old church writings that is true; only the service to the great scaled ones is righteous."
"Yessss. Lissssten to my sssservant. He hasss learned his place. Asssss you will yourssss."
The snake yanked him by the leg under the table. It was so strong, and so fast, that the lion had no chance to resist. In seconds, he was on the other side of the table, held aloft by the snake's coils, and staring at the creature's face as he hung upside down. He squirmed, trying to reach up for the binding around his leg, but Sir Fenris grabbed him from behind, keeping him still as the naga looked into his eyes. The glimpse of light there terrified him.
"No, you can't do this! We're a free village!"
"You are a people that needssss education."
"No! No, you can't -"
"I already have."
The glow began, and immediately Leo was overwhelmed with the power of the light behind the eyes. He was reduced to staring straight ahead as the rest of the world fell away, leaving nothing but the light of the naga's eyes, nothing but the glow that consumed his thoughts like wildfire.
His thoughts of the village as a whole were devoured, taken apart by the snake's vision. He could feel the memories slipping away, feel the thoughts of their normal - if hard - life disappearing. The idea of being separate, protected from all monsters like the nagas and the lizardmen and others, slowly disappeared.
In their place were other thoughts, other memories. Rather than a road of purely the wolves and lions, scalies walked the streets as well. The nagas passed from vendor to vendor, and people made way for them rather than running away screaming. Some even were on their hands and knees, servicing their guests as they walked through the streets.
In fact, his memories in general were changing to show a great deal of casualness, as the people in the roads gradually stripped down, showing their submission as well as their need to others. Whether they were common people, rich merchants, or part of the town militia, everyone was soon naked and offering themselves to others, giving pleasure and getting it in turn.
It was like it had always been that way. And for Leo, it had been, at least as far as he could remember.
He grunted as he fell from the naga's coils, hitting the floor. He looked up, and found himself nose to cock with the naga's genitalia. After going cross-eyed, he looked up at the naga's face.
"In front of me, you are not the mayor. You are Kitty."
"K-kitty..."
"That'sss right. And kittiesss love milk, don't they?"
"I...yes, we do..."
"Then you know what to do."
The naga's hand on his head was all the guide that he had, but he didn't need to ask. The idea was there. He'd done this a hundred times before; every time that the King of the nagas came to visit, this was their exchange. It was year-old tradition. Everyone knew that. The lion smiled as he opened his mouth, taking the shaft in his mouth.
The salty taste was new and different, but he quickly convinced himself that it wasn't. After all, he'd done this a dozen times. The lion just kept smiling as he bobbed his head up and down that shaft, happily taking it down his throat and swallowing around it. It was pleasant, and completely natural. That's what he remembered, anyway.
What he didn't remember was the feeling of a tongue under his tail, and he jerked as he realized that Sir Fenris had actually lowered himself to licking his ass. The lion couldn't look back, but it had to be the wolf; the paladin was the only other one there, and he was the only one that would have a tongue that was that broad, and that slick. Kitty moaned softly, his cock starting to slide free of its sheath from the stimulation he was getting. However, it did not go ignored by the naga King, who wrapped it in coils and began to stroke it.
"Sssuch a good kitty. You will not go unrewarded. Pup!"
"Yes, great lord?"
"You may mount thisss kitty. Ssshow him your prowesssss."
"Yes, great lord. Thank you, oh scaled one."
Kitty felt the wolf rear up, and felt the tip of his cock sliding under his tail. He barely had the chance to brace himself before the thick tip slid in. The lion groaned around the naga cock in his mouth, shuddering as he was pounded hard right from the start. However, before he could complain, the green light came back, warming his mind.
Yes...this always happened. This was the devotion of the naga's protector to the leader of the village. This was right. This was natural. It had happened a hundred times before, and would happen at least another hundred times after.
He calmed himself, bobbing his head again on the naga's cock, sucking it down his throat and moaning around it. This was his proper place, when the nagas were visiting. This was the respect that the nagas were due.
The King smiled above him, and put down a piece of paper on the table.
"When you're done, we'll discuss our ability to enter the town at will, as well as how all of your people should meet with me one on one. They should know their neighbors, after all. Shouldn't they?"
"Mmm-hmm!"
"Good kitty. Now keep sucking."
The End
