Alrighty, can you say, "Back to the drawing board?" *laughs* It's still the story story overall, but I changed a lot of errors mentioned of the previous one. The fox charc I created has had personality changes to suit the age given to him, and I've somewhat altered the fight scenes to reflect this.

This is a fanfic set in the SatAM Sonic Universe. This story takes place 6 months after Episode 26: The Doomsday Project. Robotnik has not only escaped the onslaught by Sonic and Sally, but he somehow managed to completely rebuild Robotropolis and all his robot drones in the space of 1-2 months. The artifacts used by Sonic and Sally to originally defeat Robotnik are lost in the ensuing fight, and they find themselves retreating back to knothole to begin the war all over again. This chapter will focus on two new charcs that I'm introducing into the story, and as such will take the spotlight at the moment. Don't worry, the next chapter will focus on the other characters more and will elaborate more on how Robotnik rose to power once again.

It was early morning on the planet Mobius. A lone figure walked through the woods surrounding the hideout knothole. It was a small, red-and-black male fox. His clothes were tattered and torn, which covered his frame, which looked no more than 9-years-old. Around his waist was a belt with a sword and sheath attached to it.

As he made his way forward a rustling from the trees suddenly caught his attention. He watched as two scouting robots on hovercrafts appeared from above, heading straight for the kit. It was clear that they belonged to Robotnik, and likely were looking for knothole. They turned to him and uttered an order to surrender.

"Halt there," one of them called out to him in a machine-like tone, "do not resist. You will be taken to Robotropolis and roboticized."

The fox took a few steps back, drawing his sword and watched as its partner swooped down towards him, its arm outstretched towards the young todd. He grunted and dodged to the side, swinging his sword up as he did so and slashing into the drone's armor. It crashed to the ground and exploded as its partner started firing lasers at the kit.

He deftly dodged the blasts and jumped up at it, thrusting into the robot then slashing through it, destroying the machine and watching it fall to the ground. He landed a few feet away and looked back just for a moment before running from the scene before any backup could arrive.

Back at knothole, Tails Prower was in her hut working on her machines. The 9-year-old vixen looked over some parts to her plane, the Tornado. She had been working on it all day long since there was little else to do. Deciding to take a break she walked outside and headed to the pond to sit on a log. Sonic was there, looking over a ring that had floated up just yesterday. The older, 17-year-old blue hedgehog saw Tails and grinned.

"Hey little buddy, what'cha up to?" he asked as he sat next to the vixen. Tails smiled back.

"Oh, just taking a break. I'm almost done with the modifications to the Tornado," she answered as she looked over the pond, her two tails waving lazily in the air.

"Heh, that's cool," he responded with a grin. Suddenly a slight commotion came from the village which garnered their attention.

"Hey Sonic, hear that? Wonder what's happening?" Tails asked as she got up.

"Hmm, lets go see!" Sonic replied and grabbed her, speeding off in a blur before Tails could reply.

They reached the village in no time and looked over to where a young fox was being led by the squirrel, Sally. Sonic looked on in curiosity at this new arrival.

"Hey, who's that?" he asked as he watched the kit talk to Sally. Tails, however, had a different reaction. She ran straight over to them, a big smile upon her face.

"Ritaku! It's you!" she yelled excitedly as she took the kit into her arms. He laughed and grinned as he hugged her back, nuzzling her cheek.

"Hey sis!" he said to her as he licked her face and looked in her eyes, his hands rubbing her shoulders. "How ya doing?"

Sally smiled and giggled at the sight, walking over to Sonic who had a dumbfounded look about him.

"Ummm, she has a brother?" he asked and pointed his thumb at the two kits.

"A twin brother," she replied and smirked at him.

Back to the kits, Tails had grabbed Ritaku by the wrist and was leading him over to her hut.

"C'mon!" she had yelled out before pulling him along, garnering a surprised yip from the todd.

"Whoa!" he yelled out but quickly recovered, running alongside her, his tail waving in the wind. Soon they reached Tails' hut. Inside Ritaku eyes went wide at all the various gadgets that were strewn about.

"Wow, sis, did you make all of these?" he asked in awe as he picked up what looked to be a portable generator.

"Yeah, I did!" Tails replied as she opened up a door and headed in. "But my greatest creation is in here."

Ritaku followed her inside, and looked on in amazement as he beheld a red biplane.

"This is the Tornado," Tails told her sibling as she looked it over and jumped into the cockpit. "It's almost done, too. Just a few more adjustments."

Ritaku laughed and climbed up the plane, jumping into the cockpit behind her.

"Wow Tails, this is cool!" he exclaimed as he looked over the controls. "Almost done, huh? Can I go for a ride with you after it's done?"

Tails smiled and answered, "Sure! Well, that is, if Aunt Sally will let me." She then jumped out, her brother following and wrapping his arms around her from behind.

"Yeah, that's true" he replied as he nuzzled her neck gently, "there's a lot of robots out there. We could get caught..."

Tails blushed and murred as she returned the nuzzle.

"Hey brother? Remember when we met?" she asked him as he gave her a kiss on her muzzle. He smiled gently and nodded.

"Heh, yeah, I do. It was only a couple months ago, when you were lost in the woods. Those robotic freaks were after you."

She nodded as the memory came back to her.

"Yeah, they would've caught me if you hadn't been there. That was when I finally decided I had enough excitement..." she said as she turned around and planted a kiss on his lips. "Thanks for saving me."

He smiled and chuckled as he held her in his arms.

"Hey, of course. I couldn't just let someone be captured by them," he replied as he looked in her eyes. "Heh, I still remember what happened that night. I'm glad we mated, Tails. I like the way it felt, though it's a little funny you found mom's picture later. I'm glad I found you though," he told her softly and giggled a little as he lead his sister back to the main room.

She giggled as they walked over and sat on a chair, Ritaku holding her on his lap.

"Brother, can we do it again tonight? It felt so good," she pleaded as she snuggled up to him.

He smiled at her request as he ran his paws over her back.

"Of course. We're mates now, and I'd do anything for you. But, why not now? It's been so long," he asked as he continued to hold her.

"Aunt Sally might catch us," she said as she rested her head on his shoulder. "I don't think she'd like that."

Ritaku nodded as he petted her gently. "Alright." Just then some talking outside caught his attention.

"Hmm? What's going on outside?" he asked and got up, heading over to the window to peer outside.

"Oh, everyone's planning on going to Robotropolis. They have a plan to take Robotnik down. Aunt Sally says there's one last part she needs from there for the de-roboticizer," she told him as she walked over and looked outside with him. Ritaku grinned at this, his paw placed atop the hilt of his sword.

"Really? I wonder if I can go?" he asked and grinned widely at the congregation before him. Tails giggled and grinned at this.

"If Aunt Sally will let you. She'll probably tell you to stay here, though," she replied as she looked over at them. "I wish I could go, but I know she won't let me."

Ritaku laughed at her words. "Hey, I thought you had enough of excitement? That's what you said, after all," he grinned and chuckled. Tails giggled and smiled back. "Well, I guess I still sorta want to."

Ritaku laughed and rubbed her head. "Well, I'll go see if I can go too!" Before Tails could say another word, he was already out the door and heading to the group.

"Hey, can I go, too?" he called out to them, unsheathing his sword and holding it over his shoulder.

"Ritaku! No, this is going to be dangerous and you're too young," Sally answered back as she handed out communicators to the group members. "Stay here and watch over the village," she ordered as she noticed the sword he held.

"What? But why? I can fight, I've fought them before," he argued, his voice a little irritated. Sally sighed and placed a paw on his shoulder.

"I know that you've been fighting for a while now, but going into Robotnik's base is more dangerous than fighting a few robots in the forest. Look after Tails, ok?" she told him once more. He thought about it for a moment, then nodded, smiling.

"Alright, I will," he sighed, really wanting to go with them. He then handed her a small device, looking to be a datapad, but the design was different from any other. "Could you take this? It says there's something at where my mom's house used to be. It says she hid it somewhere."

Sally looked it over and gave him an inquisitive gaze. She couldn't believe he would comply so quickly, but it didn't seem he was trying to trick her, either.

"Alright, I'll see about it, but only if it's not out of the way." She then gathered the group together and they headed out, leaving the village.

Ritaku sighed and headed back over to Tails' hut. He found her laying on her bed. She looked up at him and noticed his somewhat disappointed gaze.

"So Aunt Sally didn't let you go?" she asked as he sat next to her.

"No, but I really want to go. But, I guess it would be dangerous there," he told her, laying down and snuggling with his sister, "but then again, I could take the time to spend with you, instead," he conceded, giving her a loving lick on her cheek.

Tails giggled and licked him back, taking a quick glance outside. It was starting to get dark, and those who remained behind would soon go to bed. Ritaku also noticed and grinned at her, looking straight into her eyes.

"Hey, it's dark, sis," he told her and gave her a peck on her cheek. She smiled softly and petted him.

"Yeah, it is."

A dark figured crept along the metal alleys and streets of Robotropolis, using the darkness of the night to remain hidden. Suddenly it jumped atop a building and headed inside. A moment later alarms blared and a drone's voice called out through every communicator in the city.

"Intruder alert, intruder alert. A black-furred feline has infiltrated the stock room in sector 23-H. Attempting to capture, require bac- ack!" An explosion was heard through the comms before nothing but static. Inside a fight could be heard along with explosions and the sounds of metal crashing against the floor and walls. The feline then made its way out calmly, grinning at the chaos that just occurred.

The cat was a female, looking to be around 18. She wore black combat clothes that served to hide her similarly black coloring during the nighttime. She chuckled as she made her way through the city, suddenly running at incredible speeds and arriving at Robotnik's tower. She simply walked to the front door and brought out her claws, swiping at the metal and cutting straight through it.

Of course this turned on the alarms and groups of drones started blasting at her while calling for backup. She dodged the lasers with ease and tore through the bots with her claws, grinning and chuckling the entire time. She made her way up the tower, clawing her way to the top floor until she was on Robotnik's level, kicking down the metal door and approaching him, carrying the remains of a robot in her paw. He turned to her and grinned as she threw the heap in front of him.

"So, Dr. Julian Robotnik, how's that for a demonstration?" she asked in in a seductive tone, garnering an evil chuckle from the madman.

"Yesss, that was quite impressive, Ms..." he commented and paused to gain her name.

"You can call me Kitty," she replied and looked seductively into his eyes. Julian grinned widely and headed over to his control panel.

"Very well, Kitty. Welcome to my empire, hehehehehe," he chuckled as he looked out the large window.

Back at Tails' hut she was starting to undo Ritaku's shirt when he suddenly stopped her and got up. She whimpered and looked at him, a bit confused, and he responded saying he needed to get to Robotropolis.

"But why?" she begged and placed a paw on his shoulder. He sighed and responded, "I don't know, but I just got a really bad feeling. I feel as if something's gonna happen."

Ritaku turned to face her and looked into her eyes. "Stay here, ok? I don't want you getting into trouble, too, since Sally will probably yell at me."

Tails nodded and gave him a hug, worry in her eyes. "Alright," she responded. Her old instincts made her want to go, but they gave way to her new instincts to stay behind. She watched as her twin made his way out of the hut and the village, taking a communicator with him.

Back at the city, the freedom fighters made their way through. Sally lead the group in the direction of the roboticizer with Sonic the usual one to distract drones should they be spotted. So far they had managed to remain undetected as they inched closer to the building. They were on a mission to retrieve another group of refugees that Robotnik had captured, but this time they also had a second agenda; to take the roboticizer itself. They knew this would be no easy task for as soon as they got inside the alarms would definitely start blaring. Therefore it was Sonic's job to keep the drones busy for as long as possible until they had dismantled it.

Sally looked over the datapad she received from Ritaku. They were currently in sector 23-H and very close to where the young todd's parent's former home laid. She motioned for a few freedom fighters to come with her while the others, including Sonic, stayed outside to watch for guards.

Sally looked over the building and assumed it to be a storage chamber by its design. They cautiously approached the door, which was already opened, and peered inside. Sally gasped at what she saw. Every robot drone inside was horribly mangled and destroyed, anything that was once a weapon was utterly trashed.

"What could cause this?" she asked herself as she looked through the mangled and twisted metal covering the floor, following the datapad to where the secret compartment was supposed to be. She arrived at the point the map indicated and moved aside some of the scrap to see a portion of floor that had been torn up in an explosion, presumably from one of the robots, revealing a damaged hatch.

"Alright, wait here," Sally told the others as she opened the hatch and headed down a flight of stairs. After a bit and through another door she arrived in a mostly-empty room, save for a small chest in the center. She tried opening it but it was tightly locked, but then noticed an ID pad on the lid. Sally placed her paw on it and watched at it lit up and beeped for a moment followed by a click. She opened it slowly and found another datapad quite similar to the one that lead her here.

Sally looked it over for a moment then pocketed it and headed up the stairs quickly to regroup with the others, heading outside and resuming their trek to the roboticization building.

"Alright guys, this is it," Sally began as they climbed onto the roof of the structure, "Sonic, we're going to need you to take care of the guards inside then keep anymore from getting in while the rest of us dismantle the roboticization machine. I wish we could cut the power, but getting to the generator would be even harder than heading in from what our sources say."

Sonic grinned and replied, "Heh, no problem! These creeps will be a piece of cake!" then headed in first, the others following. Pretty soon the alarms blared and Sonic ran around the drones before going into a spin and slicing them up. Sally and the others then got to work on the machine while Sonic kept an eye on the monitors to see where more drones were coming.

Robots swarmed around the complex and rushed inside, making sure that Sonic had his hands full. The machines tried to fire lasers at the group, making them duck and hide behind objects until Sonic cut it down and turned his attention to another.

Sally and the others worked as quickly as they could, but it seemed a losing battle as even Sonic's lightning speed was having trouble keeping up with such an army. He started panting, the battle starting to get to him. A robot approached behind the weary hedgehog, and was about to fire, when suddenly an orange blur sliced into the drone and landed on the opposite side of the room.

"Ritaku?" Sally yelled out as soon as she saw who it was, "what are you doing here?"

"I'm sorry Sally, but I got a bad feeling," the kit answered back just as a few drones blasted at him. He yelped and jumped back, then clutched his sword tightly, it starting to glow as he ran straight at them and cut down a bunch of them.

Back at the village Tails was working on the Tornado. She wasn't making much progress as her mind kept drifting to her brother. After seeing the look in his eyes she kept worrying about him and wanted to go help the group. She got from under the biplane to grab another part, and was sifting through them when she came across something she didn't recognize.

It was a small device, almost flat but a little rounded on the top. From the looks of it it could open up.

"Hmm, this must be Ritaku's," she said to herself as she looked it over. She noticed a small button on the bottom, and after a moment decided to press it. Just as she thought it opened up and an holographic image was displayed, "Please run hand through hologram for identification."

Tails thought for a second, then decided to give it a shot. "Well, it looks like the worst that could happen is it won't let me in," she told herself as she complied. To her amazement it worked as the hologram projected another message.

"Identifying... Subject identified as Miles 'Tails' Prower, sister of Mark 'Ritaku' Prower... Access Granted. Decrypting data."

"Wow, it worked!" the vixen yipped as a menu system then appeared.

Pressing a holographic button titled, "The Rogue Scientists," a computerized voice spoke up.

"The rogue scientists are a group of inventors and mechanics once in the service of the Mobotrpolis Royal Family. They departed from their service to begin a series of Top-Secret projects to enhance the people's way of life, but had been forbidden to do so," the computer told the vixen before once again displaying the menu.

Tails thought the information over before pressing another button titled "The Psy Project".

"The Psy Project is the Rogue Scientists most ambitious endeavor," the computer chirped, "It involves the creation of a small device that, once implanted on the brain, grants the ability to use psionic powers. The abilities planned for it were the ability to move objects through force of will, the ability to track objects and people, to enhance ones own strength, speed and abilities, to interact with specially created weapons to enhance their functions, and finally to see into the past, present, or future. However, of these the ability to track was not developed, and the ability to see through time and space was only partially developed."

Tails eyes went wide at all of this. 'Wow, that's incredible!' she thought but had her attention drawn to the datapad again as it continued.

"However, the project was canceled after the first two implants were inserted into two subjects. One was a young fox kit by the name of Mark Prower, aka 'Ritaku'. Being only 5-years-old at the time, the implant used was limited so as not to overwhelm his young mind.

"The second, and the ultimate reason the project was canceled, was a 13-year-old at the time black feline, known only as 'Kitty'. After receiving it, she turned on the surgeons and terminated almost all of them save for a few who managed to escape. Afterwards she went into hiding and has not been seen until recently, when she was detected heading in the direction of Robotropolis."

Tails, after hearing all of this and becoming even more worried about the Freedom Fighters and Ritaku, shut off the device and ran over to the Tornado, finishing the last few adjustments it needed and taking off into the air.

Back at Robotropolis, Ritaku and Sonic were continuing their fight as Sally and the others were finishing disassembling the roboticiser. Ritaku was busy cutting a few drones down when a few approached behind him and fired. He turned around as he heard the discharge and was about to get hit when a blue streak snatched him away just in time.

Sonic carried the surprised todd around behind the robots and set him down on his feet. Ritaku panted for a bit and turned to Sonic. "That was close! Thanks Sonic," he told the hedgehog, his voice somewhat scared at what almost happened.

"Sure thing!" Sonic replied and went back to cleaning up the rest of the robots, Ritaku joining him soon after while the Freedom Fighters finished up dismantling the roboticiser. Sally then ran over to the console to see if she could retrieve any data from it.

"Darn," she said as she looked at the screen, "the control panel's been locked off." She then looked over to her team. "Alright, lets hurry and get out!" she told everyone as she grabbed a bag. Ritaku and Sonic cleaned up the last of the current wave of bots and were about to join them when a black figure walked through the door, kicking aside the piles of scrap that laid on the floor.

"What? You- you're Kitty!" Ritaku yelled out a little weakly and panted, remembering hearing about her in the datapad.

"Now, where do you all think you're going with that? I need that machine and cannot let you part with it," she grinned as she raised a paw to her side. A trashed drone floated up in the air, then flung towards the group.

"Ahh, watch out!" Ritaku yelled as held slashed at the projectile, slicing through it and sending it flying off to the sides. He took a few steps back then ran towards the group. "Um Sally, can we go now?"

"Nice try, but no-one's leaving!" Kitty ordered as another pile of drones rose up and were flung at them and a psionic shield covered both the doors. They all dodged to the side to avoid the trashed robots just as Sonic charged up his spin attack, hurling towards the evil cat.

"Heh, nice try!" Kitty laughed as he stretched her arms and paws out. They began to glow as she caught Sonic in them, hurling the blue hedgehog across the room.

"Whoa!" Sonic yelled out as he crashed into the wall. He got up and rubbed his head, a little dazed from the impact. "Ow, that hurt." Seeing this, Ritaku ran over to the hedgehog and looked up at him. "You alright, Sonic?" the kit asked out of concern.

Kitty laughed at the attempts against her and started walking towards the group.

"Well, my first day on the job and it looks like I've already captured my first prisoners. Julian will surely like this," she chuckled as she inched closer.

"Not if I have anything to say about it!" suddenly came through the communicators to everyone's surprise. "Everyone, get down!"

Deciding to do as the voice said everyone ducked just as an explosion erupted and breached the wall. The group looked up to see, to their amazement, a red biplane flying just outside.

"Tails!" Sonic, Ritaku, and Sally all exclaimed at once. "Alright, lets get out of here!" Sally told everyone as they all began to run through the collapsed wall and towards the exit of the city. Sonic, Sally, and Ritaku then hopped on the plane as Tails swooped down, focusing the crosshairs on the feline.

"Take this!" the young vixen yelled out as she sprayed lasers at the feline and the building, covering her in debris. "Alright, lets go!" And with that Tails pulled up and began to follow the escapees out of the city.

"Huh, hey, behind us!" Ritaku yelled out as he saw flyer drones rise above the city and give chase. Sally and Sonic also watched as Tails prepared for the inevitable battle, yelling out, "Hold on!"

Ritaku began to focus as he raised his arms. Suddenly objects from the ground rose up and hurled towards the approaching army and destroyed a portion of it. The robotic army retaliated with explosive laser blasts which Tails tried her best to avoid. Ritaku refocused his psionic powers into forming a shield to deflect the blasts, straining as each one exploded on the field.

Ritaku, already growing quite weary, shifted strategies and focused hard, sending out psychic waves at the ground to kick up a large cloud of dust right in front of the army. Having their sensors hindered, they began crashing into one another and falling to the ground.

"Whoa, that was cool!" Sonic exclaimed as he watched the remaining drones beat a hasty retreat, unable to safely continue on. Ritaku then fell to his knees and panted, almost completely drained.

"Whoa, hey, you alright?" Sonic asked as he knelt by the kit.

"Y-yeah, I- ahh..." Ritaku stuttered before passing out, the strain proving too much on the kit.

"Huh? Erg..." Ritaku mumbled and moaned as light filled his eyes.

"Ri... ku..."

Ritaku looked around slowly as he faintly heard a voice, the light slowly dissipating as his surroundings began to appear in a blur. He felt something soft touch his head as his senses came back to him.

"Huh?" he mumbled again as his eyes focused and he was able to see where he was; the bed he was laying on and the various machinery strewn about revealing that he was in Tails' hut.

"Ritaku!" the voice of Tails yelled out excitedly as she continued to pet him and nuzzled his cheek.

"Sis?" he asked as he looked upon her, "what happened? Did we get away?" She nodded and smiled at him, her eyes showing she had been quite worried for him.

"You passed out right after Robotnik's robots retreated. I was worried," she told him as she laid down and wrapped her arms around him. "How do you feel now?"

Ritaku smiled at his sister as he embraced her as well and snuggled, murring softly at her warm fur.

"I feel a little dizzy, but it's getting better," he assured her as the two nuzzled each other.

"Sis," Ritaku spoke softly as he ran his paws over Tails' back, "lets do it. I want to feel that way again." Tails looked in his eyes, concern filling them.

"Are you sure? You really need your rest," she spoke back, worried that he'll overexert himself from it. He smiled and placed a finger on her lips.

"Yeah, I'm sure. Don't worry, I'll be fine," he calmly reassured her and smiled as he ran his paw down her frame and began rubbing her hip right near her young entrance.

She shuddered and moaned at his touch, and smiled at him. She murred softly as he began to rub over her lips, loving the pleasure it brought to her.

"Ahh, Ritaku, that feels good," she moaned as she petted him with one hand, her other paw working to take off his shirt. She tossed it aside and ran her paws down his toned chest and stomach, letting out a gasp as Ritaku slipped a finger into her folds.

Ritaku smiled and murred as he rubbed around his sisters walls, his finger dampening as Tails juices flowed form her. He watched as she began to pull his pants down, petting her as she did so.

"Ah, yeah, go ahead," he moaned as Tails began to rub his sheath. It was already filling from her scents as he rubbed her, a second finger invading her.

"Ah, b-brother! Please," she begged as he pressed and rubbed firmly on her sweet spot, her paw wrapping around his cock as it slipped out.

Robotnik grinned widely at the thought of such power.

"Yesss, with these 'Chaos Emeralds', the Freedom Fighters will crumble before me," he spoke as he gazed back at Kitty. "You have just regained your worth. From now on your task shall be to recover these gems. Finally, the last of my enemies, even that hedgehog, shall fall to my power!" With that the madman took the emerald from his feline partner and laughed evilly as he gazed upon its crystalline surface.
