The Menace Agenda
Not too long ago, the power of creation was bestowed upon mortals. What forces drove this to become a reality was unknown, but many embraced their new powers readily. The world was turned upside-down.The class system reinvented, only the most powerful made their way to luxury. Power became important more then than ever before. Wars raged, countries fell, ruin dominated. A few years later, amid a world of ruin and death, a group of anti-mages emerged. They wielded a new brand of creation they deemed "stifling." The idea was to hunt down the most powerful mages and snuff them out. Soon, the class system renewed itself, and the world was under one flag. A flag that symbolized the peace that followed the war. A flag that reminded us of the dangers of making use of creation, which was now deemed magic. Only true Mages were smart enough to avoid detection, and others scared of their own bodies hid from the truth, pushing their gifts beneath the surface, never to see the sunlight. I was neither. I was a new breed. I had purpose. And they took it away.
You may ask what happened, you may not know who I am, but I assure you this: The world will know my name before I'll let it take my freedom. I'm coming for you, you upholders of this flag. I'm coming for you, Uzezkia. No nation can keep me hidden.
