A Bird and a Dragon - Chapter 1

Chapter 1:
The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship
Hi, my name is Phoenixmon. And I am in love with Magnadramon. "Aw yeah, baby! Time for some f**king pussy action!" Well...ya see...we're both male. "I just wanna watch those lips kiss each other and- whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!" *chuckles* Figures... That's right. I'm gay. I love him. I loved him ever since I first laid my eyes on his draconic Digivolution form.
As you can guess, it wasn't always like that. I felt weird whenever I was around him, but I always considered him a close friend. We ate lunch together, played together, even slept together ( 
but not like that!)! Yeah, it was a pretty healthy relationship. Let's take a look at the time we first met each other, shall we?
[A long time ago]
Narrator POV
We arrive at File City (the Re:Digitize incarnation) to see a young Hawkmon strolling through the streets of the town when he overheard some folk chatting.
Airdramon: Hey! Did you hear that a new Digimon is moving here?
Growlmon: Really?! Now I'm excited!
Veedramon: Ehh... He really doesn't seem like the competent type. Little guy can barely stay in the air!
Hawkmon: (thinking) A Patamon, maybe?
Growlmon: He just hasn't developed yet. Just give him time and he'll Digivolve eventually.
Veedramon: Hmm...
Airdramon: ? There he is now!
A Patamon flies into town with his ear wings flapping like crazy just to stay afloat.
Veedramon: (shouting) Hey! Don't quit your day job.
Patamon: (shouting back) Oh, HAHA!
As he said that, he lost his concentration on his ear flapping, causing him to fall face flat on the ground.
Patamon: Owie...!
Veedramon struggles to keep his laughter in as Hawkmon runs over to help Patamon up.
Hawkmon: Just ignore him. Are you alright?
Patamon: Y-Yeah... (looks at Hawkmon) Thanks a lot!
Hawkmon: ! It-It's no big deal. Anyways...want to go grab a snack?
Patamon: *Nods*
At the restaurant, they take their seat and, while waiting for a waiter/waitress to come around start chatting.
Hawkmon: So what's your reason for coming to this city?
Patamon: I want to participate in battles so that I can get stronger and famous.
Hawkmon: Hmm. Sounds reasonable enough. Do you have any plans how?
Patamon: Well...not really. I could always train but that would take a long time for somebody like myself.
Hawkmon: No it won't! I'm sure someone is willing to help you.
Patamon: Hmph. Doubt it...
Hawkmon and Patamon pondered about who would aid Patamon in his quest for glory, and it was at that moment that Hawkmon realised something.
Hawkmon: I can help you!
Patamon: *gasp* Really?! Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou THANKYOU , Hawkmon! *hugs Hawkmon* You have my gratitude!
Hawkmon: U-uhhhhh...!
Patamon: *stops hugging* What's wrong?
Hawkmon: U-uhhhhh... I-it's nothing.
Patamon: *shrugs* Alrighty then. I can't wait to get started!
Hawkmon: ...Yeah.
After eating at the restaurant and paying the bills, they went straight to the training gym to exercise. Patamon had a rocky start, but eventually pulled through. Unsurprisingly, Hawkmon made better performance than his partner thanks to his physique and experience of the town. Eventually, Patamon Digivolved into Angemon, making Hawkmon very happy.
Hawkmon: Wow! I'm surprised you Digivolved before me!
Angemon: I'm surprised too, buddy! Anyways, wanna head down to the colosseum, now?
Hawkmon: Yeah!
At the ring, Angemon stepped forth to face an Ogremon. Not bad for his first opponent. Even better considering Vaccine beats Virus. As soon as the bell rang Ogremon dashed forward to use Pummel Whack, but Angemon dodged just in time to use Heaven's Knuckle; inflicting measurable damage towards the foe. Next, Ogremon throws his weapon like a boomerang to perform Bone Cudgel. Angemon dodges his attacks again then performs Angel Typhoon and hurls towards Ogremon; once again dealing strong damage on the enemy. Finally, Angemon deals the finishing blow by conjuring an Celestial Rod and throwing it at the opposing Digimon. It hits him, dealing heavy damage and ultimately knocking him out, making Angemon the victor!
Hawkmon: *cheers* Congradulations! You won!
Angemon: *victory pose*
After the battle, Hawkmon and Angemon arrive downtown to reflect on their victory.
Hawkmon: That wasn't too bad for your first battle!
Angemon: It's all thanks to you, Hawkmon. I could've never gone this far without your help and support.
Hawkmon: Th-thanks...! Anyways, I'll see you tomorrow. Same time, same place.
Angemon: *walks away while waving* Bye! See ya!
Hawkmon: *waves back*
This really was a spectacular achievement. If this keeps up, they will probably even reach their Mega forms! They knew that they were going to be the best of friends. However, that was not the last they'll see of Ogremon. In fact, the next time either of them meet him again, he won't be alone...
