Lover of Destruction
#2 of Of Destruction
Finally! Part 2 on Sofurry!
1/9/17: Edit: Some minor corrections and word organization.
An inter-dimensional eternity; barren except for the two silent forms upon the structure marking the center. The first was a fox; gently sleeping. The second; an ancient god. Lord Beerus had awoken from his deep slumber with a yawn, smiling contentedly when he saw his nearby servant. He recalled what seemed like only a moment before, even though he knew how long these naps usually lasted. Such a passionate time had the two had spent upon this bed. Beerus extended a single finger and tenderly stroked the smaller male's red hair. Farell seemed to twitch at his touch; Beerus knew he had just opened his eyes. "Good morning my dear." said the powerful being. Farell tried to turn around and had some difficulty. "How l-long was I asleep? It feels like I haven't moved in-" "Thirty-eight of your years..." replied Beerus gently. The fox rolled over to face his godly lover. "What?" There was an expression of disbelief on Farell's youthful face. "A light nap where I am concerned. Are you going to be alright?" Beerus asked. Farell sighed in response, then nodded. "I'm just a little stiff, that's all. Do you usually sleep longer?" Beerus chuckled to himself. "Not much longer at all. Are you feeling, psychologically well? I apologize for my roughness; I lost myself in the moment we shared." Farell smiled at this and nodded once more as he recalled the events thirty-eight years prior. Beerus looked his servant over closely. "As promised, you haven't aged at all. This is but one benefit
of gaining a god's favor. Now, How about some breakfast? I'm already starving!" Beerus rubbed his stomach and laughed. Farell sat up; as did Beerus. Farell gazed into his master's eyes and whispered calmly. "That would be nice." Beerus closed his eyes; as though in deep concentration. "Mas-" Farell began to ask; but was silenced by his lord raising a hand abruptly before his face. Farell hadn't noticed before; but the area around them was no longer a swirling, foggy void. It became a darkened, stony bedchamber. The only light was from torches lining the walls. Large floating bubbles began to form around the room; but Farell realized upon inspection that they had giant hourglasses within them. Farell stood up from the bed in the center of the room and reached out to one of the hourglasses. "I wouldn't recommend that you touch those. This is assuming you wish to keep your limbs?" Farell jumped back and fell to the floor in surprise. "H-how so?" Stammered the shaken fox. "Bombs, my child. They are my waking alarms. One did not go off this morning because I felt it would be too much of a shock for you. Just stay near me and nothing will happen." Lord Beerus offered his hand to Farell; who took it fearfully. The god grinned warmly, and led Farell away from the bedroom. "B-but we are still naked m-master..." Farell shivered as he looked around the enormous halls they walked through. "No one else is here but us, and the wildlife. Trust in me; I shall not lead you astray." The pair walked through a large open atrium, which seemed to serve as a ballroom. Beerus sighed; he had never experienced a party like those held in similar environments before, but maybe someday it would happen. Farell was in awe at the sheer size of the palace; but he definitely was not prepared for the next chamber. Beerus opened the double doors and turned to Farell with a bow. "Welcome, to my dining hall." Farell gasped in surpise as he looked about the room. The area was spacious to be sure; but the walls were made of clear glass. Farell ran to the nearest side and put his face close to the blue shimmering backdrop. Something was moving inside; a fish of some sort? It only appeared as a small fish for a few seconds. Farell realized as he slowly backed away, that it was a giant creature swimming up to the glass. "Be calm." Assured Beerus from the doorway. "She won't attack you." The form of this beast quickly became clear. A gigantic, pink underwater plesiosaur gazed back at him. The eyes of the being were larger than most of Farell's body, even if he had stretched. There was a shrill, song-like vocalization, and the dinosaur gracefully swirled back where it had come from; till it was no longer visible in the deep blue depths. Beerus suddenly spoke from directly behind Farell; causing him to jump. "She would like to see you topside sometime, I think." Farell turned to face Beerus; shock in his eyes. He opened his mouth, but couldn't speak nor describe how he felt. "M-maybe?" he managed to choke out. Beerus nodded and gestured to a nearby table. Upon the table lay two trays of earthen clay, upon which were sushi rolls; just for their enjoyment. They sat down next to each other; Farell still trying to come to terms with all that was occurring. "Please, do help yourself to as much as you like. I would avoid the Wasabi, myself." Beerus said. The pair began to feast; making pleasant conversation along the way, this was how the day began.
"That was delicious my lord! You have an eye and stomach for good foods." Farell praised sincerely. "Why, thank you little one. You are correct; only the best for me." Beerus acknowledged with a smile; then corrected himself. "Now, it is for us." Their trays replenished themselves; causing the two diners to gorge themselves to the point where Farell had to give his last roll to Beerus to finish off. The two then returned to the main hall of the palace where Beerus had asked what Farell would like to see next. "Any part of my realm is open to you. You may make a request and I will fulfill it to the best of my ability." Farell hadn't a single idea what to say first. Instead, he flung his arms around the taller male, pushing his face into his chest. Beerus was unprepared for the sudden affectionate embrace, but soon lay his own hands across the small of Farell's back. "You are so kind to me. I have done nothing to deserve this special treatment; nonetheless your generosity. Why take me as your servant at all?" Farell whispered tearfully. Beerus was silent; for once he was unable to answer such a question. Farell looked up at his master with an distressed expression. "How could you possibly love a mortal like me?" Beerus avoided eye contact with his servant gazing at the chandalier above; he didn't want to hurt the only being he had such feelings for. Finally Lord Beerus gazed into Farell's soul, and found his answer. "Must there be any profound reason for passion? Surely I am just as eligible, even as a god for the affection of a mortal. I see inside you, my pet. You have had certain pains prior to our meeting." Beerus tenderly raised his hands along Farell's hips, up his sides and stopped beneath his muzzle. "I will never cause you any harm. I only require your trust; for I this purpose I speak from my heart to yours." Farell seemed to wobble on his own legs; Beerus put his arms around his back and knees, scooping him up. Beerus leaned towards the quivering fox's ear and quietly re-stated what had been said thirty-eight years before. "I love you as well..."
The duo lay upon the balcony overlooking the lake; the air still except for the occasional bird flying past. Farell was quite content with relaxing against Beerus's lean torso as they dozed upon the outer structure. They had dressed since this morning, Beerus in his traditional jeweled garments and Farell in a flowing silver shawl. Farell had not objected to his master's choice of clothing, it covered him sufficiently; even as the wind blew, gently rustling his fur. He gazed up at the purple god. Farell had wanted to ask him a personal question, one that may bring them closer together as a couple. However, there was always the ever-present risk of Beerus taking his proposal the wrong way. After all that had transpired before; Farell felt it was as good a time as any, it shouldn't be an awkward situation. "What's on your mind Farell? You may speak." Farell didn't think that Beerus had been awake, but then again he probably couldn't go to sleep for such short periods of time. "It is nothing troublesome, sir. I was just pondering something." Farell replied. Beerus smirked, as though Farell had just told a joke. "I'm not foolish, you know. I can tell what you want, and what you need." He opened his eyes to peer down at his companion. "It would be interesting to see how you handle telling me so." Farell sat up and lay his hands upon Beerus's toned chest. He slowly set his paw down on a specific spot, and found what he had been searching for. Beerus's heart, beating at a similar rate to Farell's own. "In all regards, I am as nervous as you Farell." Beerus revealed calmly. "Now tell me, what do you desire?" Farell shivered uneasily and began his appeal.
As the farthest winds do reach the opposite location of their origin; The two lovers hearts would indeed entwine with Farell's confession. That is the start of another story however, which will be told someday... Very soon.
