[b][u]Protecting the King
For sunkit

The portal shimmered behind the pony as he stepped back into his old world. A glance and a bit of his new magic made it disappear. Not gone, but merely hidden for when he wanted to use it again.
David – no, Sombra; he was no longer human, so why use his human name? Sombra slowly trotted through the house, his hooves clattering on the hardwood floor as he made his way towards the door. A flick of his magic turned the knob, and he smiled, showing all of his teeth as he stepped out.
This could be easier than I thought…
In some part of his mind, he knew that the thought of corrupting and changing people into new shapes wasn’t quite right, but the rest of him – the part that was Sombra – didn’t care. He was free, he was powerful, and he was in a land where nobody expected him to be. He could make a new world for himself, and he could become the most powerful pony in the land once more. All he needed was to re-establish himself, and to start that, he needed his armor.
Snorting as he looked over his bare flanks, the dark-furred horse shook his head. Lacking armor and a cape, he looked too…common. He needed to fix that, and he ‘remembered’ that this place had neighbors, including one loud mouth that lived just next door. It would be simple to go there and change him.
The idea brought out a small protest from the back of his mind, but it was soon squelched. The king must be protected, and before soldiers came armor.
It only took a moment of thought as he shifted into the form of smoke, and drifted out of a nearby open window. The night air carried him away, and he floated towards his destination, thoughts of conquest, corruption, and transformation filling his mind as he went.

The neighbor’s window was open. A stroke of good luck, Sombra believed. It meant there was less chance of him being discovered. He slipped through, allowing the smoke to transform back into his physical form, and he stretched out his body to get rid of all the kinks that had occurred during the gaseous shift.
He was in a bedroom, he realized, and he glanced around. The walls were covered in posters, and the floor with trash. The pony king was about to dismiss it when he saw something almost…familiar.
Looking closer at the posters, Sombra raised an eyebrow. They were cartoonish, but they resembled him. Snarling, glowing with power and in all the regalia that he remembered having in a past life; despite all the bestial savagery there, it was definitely him, and what he would be again when he had recovered all of himself.
So, they know of ponies in this world…An interesting development.
He lifted one hoof, pressing it against his chin as he considered the ramifications of what that would mean. However, he barely had a moment to think before the sound of footsteps caught his attention. He turned –
And the door to the bedroom opened. A human being looked down at him. Standing almost six feet tall with a thick beard and a bit more weight than might be healthy, the human paused and stared at him just as much as Sombra glared at him. There was a silent stand-off for a few seconds, then –
“Oh my god!”
Sombra backed up a step, hissing and showing his teeth as the human advanced. His horn glowed as the stranger took a few steps forward, still gasping and staring and…even grinning.
This man is not well.
The king shook his head, ignoring the spouting fountain of strange words coming from the human’s lips. Instead, he looked over the posters that covered all of the walls. They were…interesting, and implied that this person enjoyed the idea of him. A ‘fan’, he supposed, drawing the word from the fading human part of his mind.
Well. If you want to be a fan of mine, then you will be of aid. Royalty commands service in all forms.
With the human still ranting away, Sombra turned his head to face him. He saw the smile, and that was all the permission he needed. He let the magic flow down his horn, setting it aglow, and released it.
The human fell back a few paces as he was hit with the magic, and immediately started glowing in response. Sombra didn’t bother to push things any further; instead, he laid himself down, feeling his still semi-hard shaft rubbing against the hardwood floor of the room. The human looked down at himself, and the king settled in to enjoy the show.
The first changes started almost immediately. The human’s skin started to darken, going from a pale, almost pasty white to something darker, grayer. To his credit, the human didn’t start screaming, at least not until the coloring spread from his chest up to his neck. By the time that the human opened his mouth, no sound came out; no vocal cords to allow it.
Sombra chuckled, his hips making a slow grind as he found a clean spot on the floor. As he dragged his hardening shaft back and forth, the human collapsed to all fours. The thickness around his waist started disappearing, pulling in as the body fat was distributed out to the upper parts, along his back and his legs. The king nodded in approval as the human’s hair pulled back, moving down to his neck before changing color and expanding.
As hair became a purple cape, the human looked up at him, whispering, mouthing something. The king ignored it. The words would mean nothing to him, and the human couldn’t have anything useful to say. He was only something that was useful as an item.
The thinner the human got in the front, the more protective the metal would be, and Sombra pushed that magic to work faster. Chest and ribs and stomach pulled back and back and back, until the human being barely resembled one anymore. He looked almost like a metal version of a turtle shell, if one had the legs and just the upper half and sides of a shell rather than the bottom of it.
A good look for him.
Finally, the hair had become the cape, and Sombra chuckled to himself as the human’s arms started shrinking. The legs followed suit, lowering the human closer and closer to the ground, and it didn’t stop there. Just as his belly and chest had, the undersides of his arms started melting upwards, reinforcing the metal plates that would eventually lay over his legs. It was that, in reverse, at the human’s legs, so that the back of Sombra’s hind legs would be protected.
The process had left him with an erection that would not quit, and the king was forced to get to his feet to keep from squashing it beneath him. It throbbed, and he forcibly slapped it up against his belly again and again in the way that any stallion would, pleasuring himself to the sight of the human’s change.
You are almost done, he thought as he looked the human over. The armor had become solid in the back and legs, and the only thing that even resembled a human any longer was the face sticking out of the front. And he had a particular plan for that.
He walked around the armor-man, smiling as he continued to slap his cock up against his belly in excitement. He stopped in front of his new servant, his new armor, and briefly considered taking his relief from the face before he got rid of it. After all, he had quite a bit of need pent up.
But he decided against it. It was not someone that was worthy of him, and he would not lower himself to be pleasured by something that didn’t live up to his standards. He lowered his head, projecting the final beam of magic into the human’s face.
It rapidly melted away, face pulling inwards as the scalp and the temples formed into a helmet. A slot in the top opened up for his horn to slide into, and Sombra grinned as those strangely obsessive eyes and the grinning smile finally disappeared, becoming nothing more than the designs in the back of the helmet. After all, something strangely creepy like that would be better suited as a means of deterring other people from wearing the helmet than something that could be seen while he wore it.
His magic made quick work of the task of getting the armor on. Rather than individual pieces, it slid over him like a harness, folding over his body until he was protected everywhere except for his belly. The king had been told – or remembered being told – that he should armor that as well, but that would have constricted his royal shaft. The last thing he wanted was to stifle himself down there.
The cape came on next, and it was surprisingly warm, even for something that he had created. Sombra turned, letting it fall this way and that, until he was satisfied that it wouldn’t come loose during his travels.
Finally, he pulled on the helmet. There was the softest of murmurs from it, unintelligible, but…happy, somehow. The ‘fan’ must have wanted something like this for a long time, if he was still making sounds like that. Sombra felt better than ever about not using his shaft on this creature; its eagerness was beyond pitiable.
A mirror.
He wanted one, and he knew where to find one. Something about the armor whispered it to him, informing him of the location of one in the apartment. The sound of his hooves on the floor did nothing to dissuade him or slow him down. After all, he was the king; he had free reign to do whatever he wanted.
Eventually, he made his way into the bathroom of the apartment, and looked at the mirrored wall. Turning from one side to another, Sombra inspected the armor for any sign of a flaw, anything that would put it off as something less than perfect. He half expected to find a dozen or more, considering what material he was working with.
To his happy surprise, the armor was fine. Nothing wrong, nothing needing fixing. He even managed a smile at the sight.
And then…
Then he heard the sound of someone else moving around. Sombra turned his head, and poked it out into the hallway. Several other doors had opened, and he saw the shadow of someone at the other end of the hallway, walking down a set of stairs. Slowly, his lips turned up and his eyes started to glow.
More people…
The king knew that the armor would protect him, but there were many other things that he needed. His boots, for one, as well as a collection of guards and minions to make it possible for a good kingdom to begin. He needed many things, and there was only so much that he could harvest from a single ‘fan’.
But that wasn’t a problem. There would always be more.
