The Harem of Ice Chapter 2 - Talon Darkclaw

A spring afternoon hearkened Talon being born he was furred in midnight sky black fur with small wings the pride and joy of his mother and his father. Life was generally easy for a noble born wolf pup. Hardest part of growing up was starting as soon as he could lift a weapon being taught how to fight. As he grew so did his wings he could open them out widely feathered in black transitioning to white tips on the feathers with practice he claimed the sky as his playground like any boy taking risks. Some said risks did get him in trouble or worse he did get injured some trying to show off.

As he grew to be a teen he was a avid hunter and learning the ways of ruling his clan but grew with a great distrust of the neighboring clans and worse the feline empire that had been building larger the years. Talon grew a deep hate of felines that came about of a feline trader humiliating him as a pup for throwing a tantrum. He planed and schemed for when he took over the clan however it wasn't coming fast enough for him. As Talon grew into adulthood he finalized his plans no matter how evil it may be he would cover it up and no one would care once he was in charge and crushed their enemies.

Taking what funds he had Talon set his plans in motion buying a few items in secret he waited making sure timing was perfect his father was was meeting with non wolf guests they had just left and when they had Talon made his move knowing his father's habits he had the proud wolf killed using weapons he had gotten from a feline trader knowing they could be traced back to feline origins the trader himself killed and shown as evidence of a feline plot to put down wolves. Moving into control of the clan Talon's plans moved forward he met with leaders of the other clan rallying the call of aggression on the feline empire and their Queen Emira. He used the murder of his father a well respected leader to solidify that the filthy cats had plotted his fathers death.

It did take some more coaxing some more murders with feline designed weapons to urge other nobles into placing their forces into a readiness to strike. The mounting tensions were leaked to Emira thanks to her scouts and envoys even some smuggled letters from nobles prior to their murder warning Emira of the wolf intent to pack together and possibly attack. Emira wishing to keep the peace between her people and their close neighbors the the wolves sent a envoy to the nearest wolf clan the Dark claws.

Talon was lounging on the great hall dealing with daily issues and preparations for his forces when a guard captain announced that the envoy had arrived. Talon beckoned them in a smirk across his muzzle. The envoy came garbed simply and unarmed but had a few guards of various races that kept a sharp eye out. The envoy tried to produce a parchment a peace accord with Emira her queen. Seeing it Talon rose form his seat fur raised as his lips curled back into a snarl. " You dare come seeking peace after your people MURDERD nobles of our great clans....I will not stand for it nor will I suffer your lies. I have a message to send back to your queen and you will do so once properly humiliated. Guards seize them if they fight cut them down! " Talon himself drew his sword rushing the guards who tried to defend not only the envoy but their own lives guards swarmed cutting down the guards quickly Talon halted them from the envoy he grabbed the young cheetah by her chin and forced her amber eyes to look at him. " you will regret ever coming here cat and when we crush your queen I will see her crawling at at the feet of my people." Talon called to his guards bind her outside but no harming her. The guards bound the feline outside in front of the clan as their noble ordered.

Talon strode out calling out to everyone that could hear him throughout the clan village. " this envoy seeks to try and tame us...to speak into our ears with a silvered tongue then sinks her poisoned claws into our backs! All of her lies flowing from the mouth of Emira their queen...I say NO MORE! These cats Murdered my father...have murdered others of the other noble clans and now I feel its time to send them a message! " The growing crowd cheered and rallied under their young leader he showed strength and determination something he gained from his father as well as his power to control earth itself. It took little to push the hot blooded nobles to agree that this queen was to be put down the clans banded together to attack fortifying positions over the next weeks. Talon did the same sending raiding parties out to outlying farms and scouts out to watch for troop movements. His plan was to let the others go into open combat he would have his people hit and run so both sides wear down each other. Emira to be felled first then the broken down other clans taken till there would be one solidified Wolf Empire. It took days much sooner than Talon wished for Emira to act her troops on the move his scouts reported to him his order if any that are caught interrogate then behead the heads to be displayed on poles as a warning. Then once supply routes are found hit them even if supplies are not taken harass the forces spoil foods do anything to break their spirit before the body.

Talon often took to the battle average troops for Emira even heavily armored bears could not stand to him with his ability to fly or the fact the very earth was a weapon for him traps or blockades and he ruthlessly used them leaving bodies torn asunder for allies to find as his calling card. Scouts fed information to him and he coordinated the attacks knowing it was working. Other clans meeting in open combat fairly matched till word of Emira possessing a dragon make talon angry this could undermine his entire plan. It had to be Haku....how did Emira get the mountain dragon to aid her.

Needing further aid Talon met with a feline named Kengi this man was a white and black striped cat but his facial features betrayed having wolf blood in his veins. With the right price he would do attacks for wolf forces with a evil grin he paid gold to him sending him on his way with his raiding forces to hopefully distract and demoralize Emira more. One eve news came that the mercenary forces had made the dragon leave his outpost and its lightly defended. This was perfect he would be gone so talon could swoop in take supplies , prisoners and burn the rest to ashes. Plans easily made that early morning they would attack en mass on it.

That morning Talon led the charge taking to the air a wave of his hand the gate into the outpost was torn down by a battering ram of stone his troops swarmed in while Talon took to the wall emplacements to kill archers. The fight was going good for him the victory would be easily taken but he ignored that it was being too easy. Talon focused on a young soldier he toyed with him disarming him light wounds here and there just toying with his prey. His troops all seemed to freeze when they herd a dragons roar. Talon holding this young male up motioned his hand then threw him down impaling the cat on a stone pike before taking to the air to find the dragon's position.

That took little time as the eastern dragon roared angrily diving form above the clouds slamming into talon then to land slamming the noble wolf in armor down into the soft earth screaming in rage at him. While Haku's forces moved in to fight Talon was hard pressed fighting a enraged dragon blocking with his shield the Dragon caused the steel to chill then grow icy deep in the metal the ice fractured the metal weakening it till a hard blow shattered the metal sending Talon to the dirt their combat went back and forth talon never able to inflict a hard wound to press a advantage. Haku pushed in a rage till he had disarmed and lightly injured the wolf pouncing on him he shoved his weight onto the wolf's smaller frame and savagely began beating the noble till he was bloodied and no longer moving. Other wolves seeing this fled some caught those who surrender or injured given mercy by Haku's forces. Talon on the other hand was chained and literally dragged though the mud till he woke then was forced to walk behind Haku bound as a prisoner till they reached Emira's main encampment creatures all various races cheered as Haku brought in the noble taking him to Emira's war tent attaching his chain to a heavy set wooden support pole ensuring the wolf could not escape unless he or Emira allowed it. Talon snarled and snapped at the dragon " release me NOW! I swear I will...." Talon was cut off as haku grabbed him my the scruff and smashed his face into the pole " shut your fucking mouth dog...." Talon tried to protest some more earning him a harsh smack into the wood pole making him see stars.

" Enough Haku....hes chained and going no where. " Emira strode into the tent clad in her armor sword resting at her hip. "you did well bringing him here now see to your troop needs and get some rest I will deal with this whelp. Talon growled his ability to fly taken away till those grew back in Coming around in front of talon after he stood up she carried a drink in hand taking a sip of it. " You brutalized my envoy....butchered my troops and have failed to pay the price for this for far too long....I'm not here to kill your kind but you fools are not giving me a choice." Every time Talon tried to speak Emira lashed out back handing him or a slap over his face with her claws shutting him up. Emira walked to the side pouring her a second drink then came back. " I'm sorry...where are my manners I should give you a drink she lifted the glass and poured the liqiour over his head when it hit the open wounds he growled as it burnt.

Talon shook his head thrashing about Emira taking the time to turn him and rebind his wrists to the post with metal shackles he herd her humming a tune before she leans in and whispers in his ear "It's time time to pay the piper....and I'm going to enjoy this a lot....I'm sure you will enjoy it about as much as my envoy did. " When talon opened his muzzle to protest a large metal ring was forced between his teeth. Turning on her heel she pulled talon back to her tent there was no more battle no more war for the mean time. The wolves returned to their camps offering a cease in hostilities in order to work towards peace. She took the humiliated Talon back home to her castle locking him up without bindings except the rune stone collar making sure he was cleaned , dressed in simple clothes and given a full meal. She met with her advisers and other military troops thanking them for their continued service and to honor those who died. She sent condolences and severance pay to families who lost loved ones also ensuring should they need anything they could contact her or Haku in the years to come. When affairs were done in the next days she visited Talon in the dungeon. " I offer you one choice Talon Darkclaw....you can live and repent for what has happened serving your debt of life to me or...I can start cutting you into small bits slowly over time making you wish I had killed you but never getting it. Haku nodded " it shall be arranged with proper rules if you can follow them " With that Haku left that evening a more than ample meal was brought to him as was leather armor but no weapons yet. The next day after time to rest guards collected Talon taking him to a training room for military members to spar Emira was sitting in attendance with haku who was garbed in leather armor similar to Talon's Once inside and the guards leaving Emira spoke up first " this is the deal...If you win over Haku here...I will send you home where you may face humiliation or death at the hands of the wolves you call your people. Should you loose on the other hand...You WILL submit yourself as a slave to me you WILL learn obedience and perhaps grow to enjoy the benefits of my collar. " Talon snarled seeing Haku walk out into the sand pit where he was. " Terms of combat for Haku and you will be simple. Haku and you will not fly , Haku will not transform into his larger dragon form. You both will be able to use your powers is that understood? " Haku nodded " I have no objections do you Talon? " Talon shook his head " my only thought is what weapons will we use....hand to hand or blades? " Emira stood carrying 2 short swords tossing the one at Talon's feet the other to haku. Gesturing her hand at Talon the rune stone collar cracked and broke falling to the sand in pieces immediately Talon felt the surge of his powers return.

Emira moved out of the sand and sat down " Begin! " Haku ducked down picking up the sword as haku did charging at him swinging a wide high arc Haku easily countered both of them at first dancing back and forth blow upon blow till Talon lashed out trying to throw spikes of Earth up at Haku like spears haku still angry from what Talon had done to his people upped the ante on him making a wall of ice at first to stop the earth attack leaping up to the top of the wall her threw the sword down at the wolf who blocked it with a wall of stone but lost sight of Haku who already was lashing out with a attack of his own raining down flechete needles of ice as a hailstorm they did little but distract the wolf as the dragon came down onto him shoving the wolf into the sand hard he felt the wing joints on his back pop painfully but that soon was drowned out by ice encased fists on the dragon trying to pummel his face into a paste Haku's knees firmly held talon down the blows keeping him form summoning up his powers. " Enough....Haku stop..." The words lost as haku continued to beat the defenseless Talon. The blows stopped when the room grew ice cold Haku's arms stopped moving as Emira threw him to the sand " I said ENOUGH....the fight is done! " She glared at haku " Get up to the harem room NOW! " Her eyes glowed a angry pale green as she yelled the room grew far colder.

Haku got to his feet and strode out calmly. Emira called out to the guards to get him to a medical room. She strode out Talon waking hours later in a infirmary bed Emira sitting beside him. Talon tried to sit up but everything hurt and he was dizzy as he tried to sit up Emira eased him back down. " Haku went to far Talon I apoligise for that." Talon nodded his head softly trying to lift his arms he stopped once he noticed he was not bound. "No I don't have you bound in any way. Even with haku being too rough you still lost to him...So I will assume you will honor the agreement? " Talon tried to nod the best he could. " I...will do it Emira the Ice Queen " Emira placed a hand on his shoulder " Rest you can tell me later when your feeling better. " It took Talon several days to be healed when he was escorted to the harem chambers where Emira was waiting. " its good to see your healed and feeling better." Talon came closer and bowed slowly " I thought out what you said to me and I have chosen. " Nodding softly Emira tossed a silver collar with snowflake motif on it at his feet.

If you wish to obey me in my harem then you will need to pick that collar up and put it on yourself. Emira had dinner sent up and sat with them both eating calmly Talon had a ravenous appetite Their meal went calmly till Emira looked to Haku " Are you going to behave with Talon here as the second member of the Harem? " Haku quickly downed some of his wine before offering his reply. " If Talon here can follow the rules willingly I will have no problem. " Emira nodded as they finished their meal she let Talon and Haku go back to their rooms and digest their food.

When it was Late Emira poked her head out of her room into the main harem chamber. " Talon...please come to my room. They both eased away from the table to get some air Emira placing a hand on Talon's shoulder " What was that about?" Talon smirked to her " I uttered the name of his relative....one who was forever dishonored and his status as a noble stripped form him as was his wings...by a red hot blade the ultimate dishonor. Something his family has done its best to bury but not all of it is able to be hidden." Emira nodded some " I don't want a lasting rift between our peoples. " Talon turned to sit back down at the table " trust me I don't want more dying in a needless war...not like the one I started " Talon sat down and when the envoy did he firmly started in with the negotiation making his people have to meet half way on things to do all they could to settle affairs when agreements could be made over hours of talking the official documents were written the envoy moved to sign it and under him Talon signed and sealed his name on it in his noble blood with Emira signing and sealing it in blood like Talon did to show she honors their traditions. Both sides had copies of this pact to take home and agreements would officially start within the week.

In the months to come Talon would travel with guards under Emira's request to check on things most wolves despised his presence seeing him wear a slave collar about his neck but he ignored them. He had grown in power as well as maturity in most ways under Emira's care. His loyalty could be questioned at times but if Emira said something needed done as a order it was done. Emira needing to see her sister Ajani left Talon to keep a eye on things in her absence with the other advisers while she and haku left for a couple weeks. Very little thankfully happened mainly just meeting a couple times a day with advisers to gather notes and concerns handling what he could the rest to be shelved till Emira returned. Word arrived before Emira did with some requests Talon saw to the requests and Emira made it home within a couple hours of that darkness falling from a window he watched her and talon pull up but a second carriage showed up she had only left with one. Some aids moved someone or something from that second carriage inside with up most haste.

Talon turned on his heel briskly walking down the halls and down a short flight of stairs to the harem chambers where he saw Emira with what he could only describe as a snake and human hybrid....thing. The snake thing seemed scared of him and eased away till Emira comforted him. " easy Ahri...this is Talon he is a harem member my second he wont harm you in fact he will help you if you need it so please ask him or Haku. " the snake thing nodded watching talon as he leaned on a wall arms crossed over his chest. " Aye ill help you...Ahri was it? " Talon pushed off the wall and came over slowly offering his hand to the snake looking at him then to Emira who nodded. Ahri barely grasped his hand almost limp armed as Talon gave it a couple good shakes Emira looked to Talon " We need to keep these rooms warm for him his body cannot survive very cold temps or really hot ones." With a smile " We will keep him comfortable the advisers have only a couple issues put to shelf for your return they can honestly wait a few days for you to get back into the swing of things."

That evening the dinner was a hearty one for the travelers return and meant a good time to Ahri to get used to Talon and how dinners were here at his new home. When it was done Emira had the plates sent away. Both Haku and Talon knew she would share her room with Ahri to help him settle so the both of them relaxed in their own way Haku of course studying his books like a hermit Talon spent the eve lounging in the common room with a drink before heading to his bed. Talon during the day when he wasn't busy helped the newcomer learn his way around and it was nice having someone newer than him that was eager to help clean up so he didn't have to. Talon learned not only was this thing named Ahri but he was a Naga part snake and part human. He was born or rather hatched and raised since day one as a slave. It was a calm afternoon when there was a commotion in the castle Talon met up with Haku seeing some commotion going on " whats up Haku? " The dragon nodded his head towards a newcomer with Emira while he leaned on a wall. leaned on a wall " That bound one is Kengi we hired him in the war with your people to do guerrilla fighting. Seems he dissipated during the war and has now surfaced. Emira has been on the lookout for him to be arrested for war crimes...We know he betrayed us killing our forces , stealing supplies , even selling troops he subdued to slavers and your kind."

Talon cocked his head to the side. " I've seen him before...we hired him to kill your officers and spoil food supplies with poisons to weaken you but he instead killed non combat civilians you know women and pups or sold them off as slaves....Seems he played us both when he betrayed us we made it known he comes into our lands his head would be removed and put on public display as a warning to others." Haku nodded " seems that he was on the run and life had caught up with him." Emira had her hands on her hips a snarl to her face before she yelled at him to be put in the dungeon to face trial for war crimes. " Well that's that Talon " Haku pushed off the wall and headed over to Emira when she motioned him close speaking privately with him.

Talon shook his head as a loose end of the war he started now would face trial as he wandered back down the halls to a small alcove sitting on a bench looking outside and up at the mountains lost in thought how so he honestly changed a lot with actions he made lingering doubts of what could have happened should he had made other choices but doing so would have made him a weak leader and led to his removal like he did for his own father. Shaking his head he couldn't change the past what was done is done and he will carry that weight and move on. Talon stood and wandered down the hall distracting himself. Several days passed and when dinner had ended Talon was sitting in his room preening his wings when Mira called for them when he walked out of his alcove room he met up with Haku and Ahri who were already out of their rooms.

Finding Emira garbed in tight leather with Kengi who was looked like he had been put though a milling wheel a few times. Talon picked up the scent first washing off him and smirked knowing now what Emira had done to him too. Emira spoke up "this is Kengi...the new member of the harem. Help him settle in and learn his place first hes to rest after his rigorous 'introduction' to life here. " Talon smirked while Haku and Ahri paid attention waiting for her to be done. " Kengi...Ill start off introducing you to the others starting with my first Haku" Haku nodded a simple welcome " next is Talon " The smirking wolf crossed his arms over his sculpted chest " we've met striped cat " Kengi nodded slowly as Emira gestured to Ahri " and this is Ahri hes very shy but don't let that stop you guys from talking. Now I've explained the rules to Kengi here show him to a room and let him rest. " Talon and Ahri wandered back to their rooms when Emira walked out leaving Haku to show kengi to a room. " So...your the 4th to our little group. Ill tell you flat out as I had to be rough with Talon...even think of betraying any of us again and there wont be enough of you left to identify you. Am I understood kengi" The hybrid feline nodded " I just want to lay down and rest I'm...kinda worn out" with that he crashed on the bed in his new alcove room and was soon asleep. A few months later late into the summer season Emira had gone out on her own to get some air she returned some of the guards were taken to the infirmary and guards brought a white kitsune up to the harem chambers informing talon , kengi and Ahri that he can take almost any person's form and to be careful of it he had 9 tails tipped in black and a few black markings to him otherwise shock white. Talon had herd about kitsune before they were to not be trusted they would trick you and steal from you even if it meant stealing your very soul. This kitsune was dirty and looked like he had played tricks on the wrong person. " lets get you settled in since your going to live here I am Talon the others will introduce themselves to you but that will be your room. The rules are simple. The kitsune smirked some " I am Haruka and we shall see what Emira says Talon. " Haku come walking in and saw the kitsune he was visibly surprised something odd for the calm and collected person that is Haku. Talon tapped Haku on his shoulder " That's Haruka....we all are warned already he can change his appearance to others even if its a woman. Apparently he thought playing tricks with magics was a good idea using Mistress Emi as a practice dummy...a couple guards injured but are ok and Emira beat him took something call a soul orb from him and its forcing his compliance hes already settled in just being pissed off that he lost...kinda like the rest of us were."

Months seemed to slip by each member of the harem was easing into their daily routines the only really troublesome thing is Haruka trying to play tricks on the others Haku included however Emira saw to those problems and discipline in a sense was administered first by Kengi and Talon. Haruka had changed forms to Emira and tried to trick him. Haruka didn't expect the outcome being in a female form Talon could tell by scent it was not Emira and her actions and words didn't match what Emira would do. Talon grasped the kitsune tossing him onto his back on the bed and decided to teach him a lesson for being in a female form especially Emira's. Talon smirked pulling himself free of the well fucked kitsune shifted into Emira's form " that will teach you to do something foolish like that kitsune next time ill pick another hole and be rougher." Talon let Emira know of it so he could be punished with the kitsune however Emira didn't punish him to his surprise. The games continued so punishments came from Emira yet the kitsune continued the silly games on guards or others. The winter set in and winter eve party had been planned by Emira and others. Sitting down for a meal and some good wine he drank heavily striking up conversation with a large puma girl she was as much a warrior as he was her size dwarfed him due to him needing to be smaller and more wiry muscled for flight not a hulking tank of a person like this puma is. Her name Ajala . She had the same powers as he did so naturally Talon had to show being noble he was the better of the two competing with her not only in drinking but soon to follow arm wrestling with Ajala easily beating him. Being mostly drunk on the wine he patted the puma across the back heavily grabbing a fresh decanter of wine to drink. Ajala smirked as she had this planed all along taking hold of the wolf and going to a side room she helped him down the wine before roughly kissing the wolf her pheromones kicked into high gear.

In the side room Ajala helped talon out of his clothes and she shed her own quickly mutually they were ready to fool around expecting to top over her he was surprised when the large female had him lay down and she straddled his hips purring deeply as she engulfed his shaft her large paws rubbing and raking claw tips though Talon's fur.
