The Plentyn Cael Farm Christmas Fayre: Chapter 1 Sleigh Ride
#1 of Christmas 2015
Welcome to the Plentyn Cael Christmas Fayre!
Where not everything is as it seems
Pulling off the main road at the urging of his sat nav Vulpine peered with interest at the arched entrance to the large estate. A sign of wrought iron spanning the gate posts proudly declared he was entering Plentyn Cael Farm. Underneath it a new banner had been hung, the crisp white fabric covered in jolly seasonal images and the words "Christmas Fayre!" Smiling softly the red fox relaxed, the farm was a fair journey away from the city of New-Rodia he had been a bit nervous of driving out here with only Kent for company. As he drove up the gravel road past fields that housed different herds of animals the fox stole a look at Kent, the brown and white womble was fast asleep, his large hands resting placidly atop his portly stomach. Vulpine was about to wake him up when a horse wearing a reflective vest stepped into the road and signalled him to take a left hand turn. Waving back the fox left the main track and slotted in behind a queue of other vehicles waiting to get into the car park, shaking his head he gave Kent a firm nudge in the gut, causing the womble to start and sit up suddenly.
"Wha... we here?" he peered out at the cars ahead and subsided, "This doesn't look like the fayre Vulpine," he glared sideways at the fox, his driver just smiled warmly, brushing back his long brown locks with one hand before adjusting his glasses.
"It's the fayre, just the car park queue," Vulpine gestured ahead at the line of cars, "I am surprised this place is so popular, I recognize some of those cars from the motorway, they drove all the way out here from the city too."
"Well it is famous," Kent rumbled as he opened the glove compartment and fumbled around inside of it, "Now hurry up and park, I got us tickets for the sleigh ride, we're in the first group of four, I really don't want to miss this!"
"I'm going as fast as I can Kent jeez, if we had to be here for a specific time you should have said, we could have left earlier."
Bickering softly the womble and fox pulled through the queue and finally got to park. After that it was all Vulpine could do to keep up as his friend waddled ahead, the portly wombat was surprisingly fast when he put his mind to it! Kent led the way out of the car park, through a small copse of trees and out to the entrance to the fayre. The fox slammed to a stop and stared. The attraction spread out before them filled the farm-yard and broke out into several of the nearby field and everywhere he looked there was snow. The whole valley the farmhouse and the fayre was built in was filled with a powdery white coating. There were icicles hanging off the eaves of the buildings and as Vulpine looked around he could see children rolling snowmen, throwing snowballs and laughing. It was a veritable winter wonderland hidden amongst the otherwise seer and winter-drab countryside.
"How..." the fox mumbled as he followed Kent to the snaking line of people seeking admission, "I mean, it looks real!"
"It is," Kent laughed and shook his head, "I don't know how they do it, but every year the owners transform the farm into this," he gestured around at the sparkling white fields where several varieties of animal plodded along, "It's what makes it so popular!"
Vulpine nodded, his long red tail dancing back and forth excitedly as he shuffled forwards with the queue. At the turnstyle Kent handed in their tickets and their booking for the sledge ride and the young mink behind the counter smiled winningly at the large womble.
"Oooh yes we have been expecting you, you're the last to arrive, Master Tarw is waiting for you," she took their paperwork and handed over two bracelets made from twisted leather; they jingled softly thanks to the small silver bells woven into the fabric. "Here you go, please keep these on at all times, they will let security know you have paid to be here, now then..." leaning over the counter she waved a hand toward a nearby steward, beckoning the black ram over, "Zeryx be a dear and take these two gents over to the sledge ride staging area, Tarw is waiting for them."
The fleecy black ram looked the womble and fox up and down and grinned, "Sure thing, come along boys," he moved off, his black hooves clompfing softly on the snow covered walkway as he led the pair past various market stands selling all sorts of merchandise; from tree decorations to finely crafted glassware. There were stalls selling homemade toys and sweets, exotic christmas foods and more mundane items like nuts and yule logs. Vulpine really wanted to stop and go shopping but he followed obediently, there would be time to explore the market later.
The black ram led them away from the bustling crowd of the main market, skirted an open air stage set up at the centre of the food court and led them away toward a large tent behind the farmhouse. He chattered away pointing out various attractions and naming food stalls he really liked whilst all the time the bracelet around Vulpine's wrist chimed and jangling with every movement. He was really excited to be here and the descriptions Zeryx was giving them of how thrilling it was to sit in a sledge whilst a team of dogs pulled you across the snowy landscape were captivating. The ram bleated softly as he stopped by the large tent and held open the flap, with a quick nod of thanks for the tour Vulpine darted past the waddling shape of Kent and ducked inside.
It took a few moments for his eyes to adjust to the gloom so he didn't see the other two figures standing around in the middle of the tent waiting. They saw him and Kent however and moved over resolving into the shape of a short, broad shouldered ram and a thin, nervous looking rat with scraggly whiskers and large buck teeth.
"Hey are you with..." the ram started then stopped as he spotted the bracelets the pair of newcomers were wearing, "Ah no, I guess your guests too?" he held out a hand and Vulpine took it, shaking it warmly, noting the pleasing chime of the rams bracelet as he moved his hand.
"Yeath, we've been waiting for awhilth..." the rat lisped quietly, waving one of his hands to make his own bells chime, "It hath been a bit boring."
"Yeah," the ram said as he turned and walked back toward the centre of the tent, "Not sure how long we'll be waiting, I'm Brandr by the way and our rodent friend with the lisp is Echo."
"Vulpine," he said and gestured at Kent, "And this is Kent, sorry the delay is probably our fault, we got stuck in traffic in the carpark, oooh what are those?" the fox pointed toward several large piles of leather and bells that had been left in the middle of the tent.
"The harneth," Echo muttered, "For the dogth, but no one hath been in to say anymore since we got here."
Nodding happily the red fox went over to have a look at the harnesses then moved past them to examine the dog sledge. It was very big, large enough to seat three to four people with someone standing on the back to drive it. He was about to turn back to the others when the tent flap opened and a huge figure ducked inside, looking over the fox's jaw dropped open as the lumbering shape moved into the light. The bull was huge, with massive shoulders, legs that were nearly as thick as Vulpine was wide and his hooves where the size of dinner plates. His huge horns looked to be wickedly sharp but he was dressed in a snug set of over-alls and had a huge smile on his face as he bore down on the quartet.
"Hello, I am Tarw," he rumbled in greeting, shaking all their hands, setting off another jangling of bells, "Sorry to keep you all, it is a big fayre," he gestured toward the outside, "There is always something happening that needs me."
"Ah, you're the owner of the farm, Tarw cig Eidion" Kent declared pointing, "I saw you last year dressed up as Santa Claus in the grotto."
"Indeed, that is me, now then, one little thing to take care of, housekeeping and all that, can I see yer bracelets, just hold em up for me," he smiled as everyone held up their hand to show off the bracelet of woven leather strips and silver bells, "Good, just give them all a good ring for me boys."
Vulpine looked at Kent and shrugged and obliged, shaking his wrist along with the others, the bells chimed, causing a jangling harmony that made his ears perk up. It was a very nice sound, the tone of each bell forming a tune that merged with the others and made his ears twitch furiously as he strained to listen to it. He was so pre-occupied he didn't notice when Tarw moved closer, the big bull leaning down and whispering in a low rumble.
"Good dogs, keep playing the bell song," the words meant something, there was... meaning to them, something he should be reacting to, or finding weird. The red fox looked at the others, struggling to grasp what was wrong as first Kent then the ram started to strip off their clothes. Trousers, coats, shirts and underwear all landed on the floor as the bells continued to ring. With a detached frown Vulpine realised he was doing the same as he threw his coat onto the floor. His head turned and he found himself staring into Echo's eyes, the rat was drooling, his eyes vacant and unseeing as he mechanically dropped the last of his clothing to the floor and moved to pick up one of the dog harnesses.
Vulpine shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts, something was very wrong but every time someone moved they jangled the bells on their bracelet and the song drowned out his attempts to break through the fog. He was vaguely aware of the bulls voice, a rumbling command and his body obeyed, his hands reaching out to help Echo with the strips of leather, untangling them and causing the bells attached to the harness to jangle and chime loudly adding their voices to the softer song of the bracelets. These new bells added a whole new level to the music, ringing out with every movement they made. Vulpine girded the rat in the leather then stood, arms spread wide and allowed him to do the same to him. With every ring of a bell, each lingering chime the tune rang out and Vulpine started to notice other differences. Brandr had dropped to all fours, his harness being buckled into place by Kent even as the womble's body shrank, his hands fumbled with the last buckle and Tarw had to lean over and help so Kent could drop onto all fours as well and stand comfortably.
He didn't look like a womble any more, as he watched his pudgy face grew lean and took on a canine slant. His large bulbous nose changed, becoming that of a dog, constantly wet and damp and perched atop his new snout. His long beautiful, fluffy womble ears were changing as well sliding up the side of his head, twisting and shrinking until they pricked up as a pair of pointy husky ears.
Brandr was changing as well, the ram's fleece was laying down, losing the natural curl and twist of wool and becoming the thick, rugged coat of a dog. His body lost a lot of its natural bulk, though he was still going to be a big dog and he was whining, whimpering and pawing at his snout as his horns retracted into his head. When they were gone he rolled onto his side, looked up at Kent and barked, wagging his tail happily and rolling back to his feet, it seemed that the ram was quite gone and the husky left in his place wanted to play. He slipped forward in a crouch, lifted his head and closed his lips around Kent's long hard dog dick, the womble dick was soon growing quite hard and thick and as Vulpine watched in mild bemusement he saw that with each swipe and lick of his tongue Brandr was helping that heavy shaft to change. It was going from long, black and pointed to short and red and bulbous with a swelling knot at the end.
Vulpine shook his head, this was wrong, this shouldn't be happening. but the movement made the bell on his new collar jangle and without questioning why he dropped to all fours besides Echo. His body rippled, his arms shrank, bone and fur flowing, joints realigning to make it easier to stand on his new paws which had replaced his hands. Gone were his thumbs and his ability to stand on two legs and yet... it didn't bother him. It felt good, his fur was thick and fuzzy, his body felt lean and fast, strong and durable and then a heavy weight on his back reminded him that Echo was here with him. The other husky leant up over him, his fore-legs gripped his chest and his hard doggy dick slipped under his tail and spread him. Vulpine whined, ears flattening, rump pressing back eagerly as he gave into Echo's needs, his own dick ground against the floor of the tent as he whimpered in pleasure. It didn't take long for any of the huskies to cum, they were animals, sex was swift, pleasurable and fast and soon enough they were all howling, one after another as seed was splashed over the floor, over fur and into muzzle and rump. It felt good and any lingering doubts, thoughts or ideas that they had ever been anything but a good team of playful huskies were well and truly gone.
Tarw's whistle brought the small pack out of their happy place, Vulpine he lifted his head and looked earnestly toward the Master. His tail wagged and his tongue hung out of his muzzle on its own as he panted, eagerly waiting for orders as the big bull walked over and stopped by each of the team. He petted them, gave them a few words of encouragement. When he stopped by Vulpine he scratched him behind the ears and smiled a big happy smile.
"Good boy Vulpine, good boy, now then everyone take your places, lineup!" he whistled and the husky moved quickly to the team, jostling for place at the front with Brandr. The other husky barked at him and used his larger bulk to push Vulpine back so he could take the lead. Stuck staring at Brandr's rump the red husky sat down and whined softly as he let Tarw attached the tracers to his harness. The bulls hands were strong and sure and once he had attached the whole team he moved to take his place on the sledge holding the reins firmly in one hand. He shook them, shouted the command to move and Vulpine leapt forward as part of the team, dragging the sledge around and out of the door toward the cheering crowds waiting for their rides! His paws scampered on the snow kicking it up in big bright white sprays and then he pulled to a stop behind Brandr, panting and standing proud as the crowd cheered and moved over to make a fuss of the sledge team at Tarw's invitations.
Soon enough they'd be back to the job of pulling sledge loads of excited children and thrilled adults. But for now he could bask in some tummy rubs and ear scritches as he barked and did his best to look adorable for the crowds! Every time he moved one of the bells on his harness chimed, sitting down on his rump he held out his front paw to a small child and licked their face as it was shaken, causing the bells around his fore-leg bracelet to jingle too... he loved the sound of his bells and doing his job! It felt great to be a husky!
