An anthro story that will blow your mind.

The rain had come and gone like it always did, the fresh smell of after rain should have been there, yet it was heavy again. Distant clouds gave way to a promise of new rain.

The young female wolf looked around madly, and then down at the loaf of bread in her hand. She could hear the distant barking of dogs, and the pounding of the horses. She looked back to see the Kings men thundering after her on their white horses. She could almost smell the Shepherds breaths. They were all highly trained anthros, and what they were trained to do was apprehend any and all who do anything against the king.

Ever since the king had passed, and his son, a black wolf came on the scene, the town had done better. He had gotten things that needed to be done, done. Our young female wolf just happened to have a family that was extra poor, and thought sneaking into the castle to steal some food was a good idea. She was willing to risk anything to keep her mother fed. Ashly took a deep breath and started running again. She was slender, and her legs were made for running fast, but not for long. She stopped once again and bent over wheezing. She could see her house just across the field. It wouldn't be too hard to get there. With one final burst of speed she took off down the field, not looking back for anything. She could hear the pounding of hooves behind her, their breathing ragged at the chase. She could hear the growls of the dogs as they spurred their mounts on. She took one more step and was in the house. She grabbed her mother and hid in the cellar with the bread still in her hands.

"Ashly...what have you done?" Her mother asked with a sad frown. Ashly felt like she had been kicked in the gut by one of those white chargers at the look on her mothers face. "Mom, I couldn't stand to see you starving, I had to do.."

[CRASH!]

The sound of the door being taken down was enough to make Ashly tremble. She looked at her mother and kissed her on the forehead before standing up and starting towards the door. "What are you doing Ashly?" Came her mothers trembling voice. Ash let a tear fall from her eye as she headed up the stairs. "Im handing myself over, if they find me cowering down here with you they'll kill you...I cant have that." With that said, Ashly ran up the stairs and exited the door quietly.

She looked around the corner quietly, not having heard anything for a while now. She crept into the kitchen, looking out the window. She was confused when she saw the horses picketed outside the window, and wondered where the men were.

"Ahh!" She cried upon turning around, only to see one of the dogs behind her. He chuckled and grabbed her by the wrist before tying it up. "We were instructed to take you to the king at once." He said with a grin before pulling on the lead. Ashly looked down and followed. There was no point in struggling, not any more. She didn't want harm to come to her mother, or the house.

When she looked up she could see all the sneers of the dogs as they mounted their horses, and she decided right then and there, she hated the rich. They were snooty, always looking down on those who werent as good as them, never wanting to lend a helping hand when it was needed the most. She was tied to the back of on of the saddles, and didn't like the thought of having to walk all the way back. She sighed and started walking as the beast started, its flicking tail catching her a couple of times, so she moved to the side. She didn't want to add getting kicked by a horse to her list of shitty events.

As they neared the castle, a sinking feeling filled her chest at the sight of some of the people in town. Some of them she knew, but now they acted like she herself was lower than them. Some of these people she had helped numerous times, even saved their lives before, but now here she was, filth. They looked at her like she was a maggot, ripe from a pile dung. She glared at them, making sure they knew she felt betrayed. Most simply looked away with a sneer much like the rich asses.

Ashly felt one of the dogs whips on her nose and she let out a startled yelp. She looked up with her ears laid back, only to halfway catch a 'pay attention' from his mouth. She looked down and realized they were about to cross over a small river...an they werent going to let her use the bridge.

Now that she was freezing cold and wet, she was finally at the castle.

When she walked in the first thing she recognized was the windows, not one had any more of their stained glass like they used to, it was now just see through with large beige curtains. She was taken to the throne room where the king himself sat.

Ashly let her eyes wonder over the rather fit black wolf, his eyes a bright green. He looked at her and let out a growl, but instead of fear, she couldn't help but feel a stirring deep in her, and one that was making between her legs rather warm. 'pull yourself together Ashly, he doesn't like you, remember?' She reminded herself before the guards backed away form her.

"So you're the thief who thinks they can steal from me?" Ashly looked up. "You Majesty I.." "SILENCE!" He bellowed making her shrink back some. "I will teach you a lesson!" He said with a growl, his eyes raking over her. "Your weak and small, no use to anyone." He growled out before nodding to his guard. "Have her cleaned and give her new clothes. I cant have something so filthy in my home. Send her to me afterwards."

Ashly could feel her temper begin to boil. "Who the hell are you calling filthy!" As soon as the words left her mouth she covered her muzzle up sinking to her knees. She could hear the kings footsteps coming closer and closer. She shivered on the ground. He knelt down next to her so she could hear him whispering. "Who the do you think im calling filthy, you're the only one leaving mud tracks in my house...now go before I think of a less nice way to punish you." Ashly looked at him. "How do you plan on doing so in the first place?" She asked, fear biting at her words. He merely grinned. "Oh you'll see."
