#2 of Beyond Comprehension (before rework)

Finally got around to formatting the next section. I look at this story and really think "What the hell was I doing in 2013?" I really see the tackiness and inconsistencies with the current formatting. That being said, the re-write will maintain 1st person perspective, not have the -POV indicators- and will hopefully keep a controlled confusion throughout the story that makes it interesting enough to not lose interest in.

Final thoughts: February is showing to be an interesting month (other than having events in Celebration of Black History, Hope everyone in observance takes some time to learn something new) and I might be getting back into a flow

-Quilava Point Of View-

I started walking to the den, I was going to take a nap for a while. Upon reaching the den I walked in and hesitantly stepped to his bed. I already missed him so much. I sat down on his bed and rubbed the spot that he would usually lay. Ismiled.

"Why couldn't I tell you how I felt Cronas?"

I knew he wasn't actually there, but it felt like he was. I sighed and got up, I drug my hindpaws across the ground below all the way to my makeshift bed. I plopped down onto my bed and stared at his.

I smiled as memories flooded my thoughts.

-Flashbacks-

A young Quill was running around on all fours.

I was just a Cyndaquil and what was odd enough, most Cyndaquil's eyes were always shut but I managed to open mine a quarter of the way at least. The whole squinty eyes thing never worked for me I guess. My eyes were almost a pink color. Many people thought I had a Zangoose father. I raised my forearms up and stood on my hindlegs signalling to my mother that I wanted to be picked up. "Evything's amazing!" "Mommy mommy what's that?"

"That's a Butterfree, you see her beautiful wings?"

"Yeah. How come we don't have wings?"

"We're different from Butterfrees, we have fur and arms and legs."

"Oh... Aw all things diffewent?"

"Yes, my precious baby boy, just like you. And being different makes you special."

"Special how?"

"Special because there's only one of you." She nuzzled me and left me back down. My mother was a Typhlosion and the thing that made her special was that she was born with a heart shaped missing patch of fur lying in the center of her breast along with her purple irises.

I ran around more and then came upon a familiar scent in the air. My eyes darted back and forth as I tried to locate the source knowing well enough who it was. My dad seemed to have came out of the blue but it didn't matter to me much. "Daddy!" I ran to him and he lifted me high up into the air. He brought me back down to his face and I hugged him. We nuzzled each other before he rested me ontop of his head. I always love that spot. It gave me a clear view of everything I wanted to see.

He walked over to my mother and kissed her while wrapping his arms around her. He was also a Typhlosion, with a purple patch of fur over his right eye. That was really the only thing that set him off from other males.

I was an only child so I would always try to make friends. One day I was close to a pond. My parents kept a close eye on me, as they knew the danger of water to fire types. I splashed about on the water's edge. I didn't mind getting my paws wet. It only stung when my chest, back, or most of my body in the water. I hadn't looked into the water but that's when I first met Cronas. He was just a Totodile and a young one at that. His eyes watched me as I splashed some water into the air. I stood up and slipped on some mud into the water. I screamed out for help before completely submerging. Cronas gasped and rushed over to help me. He pushed me up to land without hesitation. My parents rushed over.

"Thank you for saving our son, what's your name young Totodile."

"Cronas... Will he be okay?"

"He just needs some rest, where are your parents Cronas?"

"In the next pond over..." He held his head down as if he did something that would get him into trouble.

"That's okay, we just want speak to them."

"Okay..." He lead them to the pond that his parents were.-Cronas POV-

I hesitated in bringing the Typhlosions to my Feraligatr parents. I knew that they were very irritable and can get extremely territorial. I walked over to our pond but was afraid of what would happen next. They walked over to my parents. My father watched carefully as the two approached him. My mother was very protective of me although him, my father had tried to eat me a few times. I was always cautious around him, careful not to set him off. He was always the one to quickly anger, and when he angered he was very violent. They smiled. "Excuse me, you are the father of Cronas right?"

"Yes, I am. Did he get into any trouble?" His pupils fell on me and he shot me a glare.

"Oh no, quite the opposite." His attention returned to them.

"Oh?"

"Yes, he saved our son from drowning."

"He did now, did he?" He looked back at me with a look of awe in his eyes and a smile on his face. "So Cronas, did you really save their son?" I hesitated.

"Yeah... I saved him..."

"I'm proud of you Cronas." I smiled. He got out of the water.

"I'm glad that my boy was there when he was, I'm also glad that your son made it. Will he be okay?"

"Yeah. He just needs to rest up and stay away from the water."

"What's your son's name? Oh, my name's Damus."

"His name is Quil, and our's are Tyrone and Lilith."

"Well, when Quil recovers tell him that he has our protection."

"Really? How nice of you."

My mother came up from our underwater den. "What's going on honey?"

"Cronas saved Quil's life."

"Oh did he now?"

"He sure did."

"Well isn't that fantastic news? I'm Tania."

"Tyrone. Lilith."

"Cronas, my sweet sweet boy." She hugged me.

"Mom..." I blushed out of embarrassment. I never was one to soak up attention, but it felt good too. My father was actually proud of me, and my mother was glad to know that I was maturing at a young age.

-Quil POV-

I awoke to a totodile next to my side. "You're okay!"

"Who are you? The last thing I remember was that I slipped in mud, called out for help and as my head went under, I saw a pair of eyes and a blue figure move towards me. You, you saved me. Thank you. Thank you!" I hugged him and he hugged back. Tears ran down my face and onto his back. "Tell me your name."

"Cronas." And from that say on we were friends. Cronas was always protective of me much like an older brother. He filled me in on what happened in the past day. Apparently I had only been out for a day. I went to my parents and saw them with two Feraligatrs they all welcomed me in. I entered cautiously, the Feraligatrs were intimidating but my parents were okay with them so there was no danger. I walked to my parents and they told me who they were.

"Hello..." I was still wary of them.

"Are you doing okay?" I nodded. "Thats's good to hear. Come here." I looked to my parents for approval, they nodded, so I slowly made my way over. Damus picked me up. He looked at me for a few moment and then smiled. He placed me on his chest, I was confused but then settled to his heart beat. I nuzzled him and was heated by his warmth. My parents smiled.

"Looks like Quil likes you Damus." I felt Tania's warm claws encircle my frame as she picked me up and nuzzled me to her breast. I nuzzled back. Oddly enough, I began calling them Uncle Damus, and Auntie Tania after that.

-A few years later-

We had evolved into Croconaw and Quilava. We had both gotten the "Transitioning" talk from ourfathers since we would spend another few years like this before a final transition into Feraligatr and Typhlosion. They also told us that we'll have attraction to other pokemon during this "Transitioning phase" and that pheromones will make you do things you wouldn't normally.

I couldn't explain it but every time I was around my parents or Cronas' I felt awkward. I guess that it was because I walked around quadrupedal, my parents had told me time and time again that it was completely natural and that all Quilava walked around quadrupedal. I tried to get over it. But I just felt even more awkward trying to not think about it. I decided that I would walk around bipedal.

My parents approved and supported my decision but they warned me to try and walk quad every now and then. I would push myself up onto my hind legs from time to time and walk biped hand in hand with my parents, Uncle Damus and Aunt Tania, and even Cronas. I would often fall over or have my body would start to give out on me.

After weeks of pushing myself I finally was able to walk bipedal. I felt proud that I made that little accomplishment. I was almost as tall as Cronas now. Almost face to face but still within kissing distance. What did I just say? I think my mom should know about this.

-Cronas' POV-

I was excited that all those weeks of training paid off. Quil could stand tall now. It seemedlike we were most excited for this, and I really wanted him to be happy. Whenever he stands up he's just shorter than me, but if he were to jump up a little or stand on the tips of his paws he'd be exactly my height. He hugged me and I hugged back, the oddest thing though, every time he'd lean into me I wanted to kiss him. But we were friends. Good friends at that, but still why would I want that? I think I should talk with my mom. I just hope she doesn't freak out.

-Normal POV-

Both Cronas and Quil went to go see their mothers the next day while their fathers were out. "Umm... Mom?"

"Yes sweetie is there something wrong?"

"Not really... At least I don't think."

"What do you mean you don't think. What's the matter?"

"Well, I'm having odd feelings for a person, feelings like wanting to be with them all the time and like I want to kiss them."

"Aww, my baby's falling in love." Lilith smiled at Quil. "So..."

"So what?"

"Well who's the someone you're in love with?"

"Umm..." He blushed not knowing how she would take the news. "Mom would you be mad if..." Her eyes showed skepticism. "If I... Liked a guy?"

"Oh my sweet child... Of course I wouldn't be mad at you. Almost nothing you could do would make me angry with you."

"Really?"

"Yes, it's alright with me, you're allowed to love whoever you want. Can you tell me who it is you have feelings for?" Quil nodded.

"Cronas..."

She hugged him. "That's fine with me, he is a nice kid."

"What should I do mom? Should I tell him?"

"Only when you feel is best." That is the reason he has yet to tell Cronas, it must be at the best moment possible.

Cronas was with his mother. "Hey mom, you know how when you get older and you go through some changes?"

"Where are you getting at?"

"Well, I'm having strange feelings for a certain person..."

"You do?"

"Yeah..."

"Do they treat you nicely?" He nodded. "Do they have a great personality?" He nodded again. "How long have you had feelings for them?" Just recently. "Hmm...are they attractive?" A deep blush spread across Cronas' face.

"Yeah..."

"How long have you known him?"

"For a while... Wait, did you just say-"

She smiled. "What's their name?"

"Quil..." She smirked.

"It was just a matter of time."

"What do you mean?"

"I knew that you'd have this talk with me, I just didn't expect it to be so soon."

"So you're okay with it?"

She nodded. "I can't control whether or not you fall in love with a boy or a girl. I can only control whether or not I accept it."

"Thank you mom." Cronas hugged Tania. "But, mom?"

"Yes honey?"

"When should I tell him?"

"Tell him when you're positive he feels the same way about you. Okay."

-The Next Day-

Tania and Lilith talk while their sons go off and play.

"Hey Lilith have you noticed how well Cronas and Quil get along?"

"Yes they do get alone quite well. Do you think that they'll be friends for a long time Tania?"

"I do, that and more. What about you?"

"The same. I had a talk with Quil the other day, involving Cronas."

"What about Cronas? Well, to put things lightly, he fell in love with him."

"No kidding? Cronas said that he was falling for Quil too."

"Should we tell them?"

"Nah, it's probably best if we don't interfere."

"But what about Damus and Tyrone?"

"I think it'd be best if they told them but of course we would have to be there for them just in case if someone doesn't agree."

"True. It makes me happy to know that they've both picked someone that really matters in their lives."

"I just hope that they realize that they love each other soon."

-Telling the fathers-

-Cronas POV-

I finally decided to tell dad that I was attracted to males. "I hope things work out..." ... "Dad can I have a talk with you?"

"Sure son, what about?"

"Well remember our talk about 'Transitioning'?"

"Yes, why?"

"Well I'm attracted to a male."

"You are? Who?"

"Umm... Quil."

A smirk appeared on his scaled face. "So that explains it."

"Explains what?"

"Don't play dumb. I know what you were doing."

"What was I doing?"

He chuckled. "So tell me, Is that why you saved him?"

"I don't know..."

"I think you do know."

"I didn't want him to die..."

"So you did love him then."

"Maybe..."

"Just tell me if you did or didn't."

"I don't know though..." Tears swelled up in my eyes.

"Comere." I walked over to him, feeling conflicted. He wrapped his arms around me and we embraced. "I'm okay with what you choose son, I was just testing you to see how you'd react." Tears ran down my eyes. "Shh... sh sh sh sh sh sh sh. It's okay Cronas, there's no need to cry."

"But, how do I tell him?"

"You'll tell him when you feel it's the best time." I pulled off him and looked at his face with a weak smile.

"Thanks dad, you're the best!" He wiped my tears away.

-Quil POV-

I went to go talk to my dad about this. "Hey dad, are you busy?"

"No, why something up?"

"Umm. Kinda." Lilith listened in from a distance.

"What is it?"

"Well... I'm sorta attracted to males."

"Oh? You are? I suppose you are at that point of your life when you make those types of decisions. So, is there anyone you have in mind?"

"Umm. Yeah there is one actually."

"Well who is it?" Quil blushed. "Come on then."

"Cronas." Tyrone's eyes widened. "You mean, that croconaw?" Quil nodded with hesitation. Tyrone couldn't believe his ears. "Quil, you know that he's a water type right?"

"Yeah..."

"And you know that Fire types like us are weak to water right?" Quil nodded. "Oh Quil..." He extended his arms to me, welcoming a hug. I hesitantly walked over to him and met him in the hug. The two had a moment. After a few minutes of silence, I spoke up.

"You're not mad at me, are you dad?"

"No Quil, you found love, I'm proud of you." After another few minutes of embrace Tyrone sent off Quil to go have fun.

Lilith walked in after Quil left. "So?"

"He's a sub."

"What's that dear?"

"He's submissive."

"And you have a problem with that?"

"I can accept the fact that he's gay, but he'd let Cronas dominate him... I know that Feraligatrs do get larger than our kind and as sure more aggresive, but I wouldn't want him getting hurt. Especially since Cronas is a water type." Lilith chuckled. "And what is so funny?"

"I'm just remembering an ironic twist to your dilemma."

"What are you getting at?"

"You probably don't remember it..."

"Don't remember what?"

"That one night, you and a Feraligatr."

"What?!"

"Mhm. It was before you met me."

"How would you know then?"

"Well, I happened to stumble upon you two. And you were the submissive one." Tyrone was speechless. He tried to recall the moment but couldn't find himself to bring it up.

"I can't remember..."

"Are you sure you just don't want to remember?" He tried harder but still couldn't spark the memory.

"Nope."

"Let me try to rejog your memory; It was at a lake side, pretty late, you and him had just met and decided to do something crazy." Tyrone started to think about it again. All he could remember were blurs everywhere.

"I... Think that was the night I had one too many pecha berries." Tyrone couldn't remember the night and Lilith was trying her best to get him to stop repressing the memory. She explained more.

"You guys were at it for some time, and you two looked like you were really enjoying each other."

"I can only draw blurs of that night. But I do remember a large blue blur."

"Well at least that's somewhere."

What had actually happened on the night that Lilith was speaking of was the truth. Tyrone had just evolved a few days prior and was getting accustomed to his new body.

"Hm. I know I should just wait it out a little longer but everything feels so different. I need to find a way to speed things up. But how???" Tyrone walked around for an hour's time and came to a lake side just in front of a berry grove. "Hmm... Maybe if I put my body into shock?! But... I'd have to do something really reckless for that..." He stared at the lake and began to get ideas. "Maybe if I just jump in then come back out. Yeah I think that would do it. But first..."

Tyrone walked through the berry grove and began picking off an assortment. Holding a small pile in his arms he finished picking and walked back out towards the lake. He picked up a few berries and started to slowly eat down the pile. The young Typhlosion wasn't mindful of which berries he had picked, and ended up with some berries that were, sweet, salty, bitter, spicy, and sour. And since the assortment came in all sorts of flavors and flavor blends, the textures were just as random. He came across a few berries that were crisp, juicy, smooth, dry, squishy, hard, rough, and soft. A few times he had eaten some slimy berries and it took him a few minutes to recover and continue. By the time he was nearly finished with the pile he had not gotten the outcome he so desired, but instead an adverse affect of a numb tongue.

"Aww. Oh well. Only ten more to go." He looked down and grabbed one berry. He bit into it and found a pleasurable taste besides his numb tongue and had felt a small dosage of the side effect that he had been trying to get. "I think I found it." He gobbled down the rest of the berry in his hand before taking no time at all to down the other 8 pechas that were in the the pile along with a rawst berry that he didn't particularly care for. Tyrone was now in a drunken stupor, which was exactly what he had wanted. "Okay, now I could jump in. A one, a two, a three, woops!" He had fallen over from swaying himself back and forth to prepare for the launch. "Looks like I'll just have to roll into the Lake instead. Weee!" He started rolling his body until he came to the water's edge. He had been stopped by a pair of large, blue, scaly, clawed hands. The hands pushed him back out to land. "Wooo!" He rolled until he hit some rocks but couldn't feel any pain.

A Feraligatr emerged from the water, and looked at Tyrone very confused. "Are you trying to get yourself killed?"

"No, I'm just trying to put my body into shock."

He walked over to the Typhlosion, who was still laying on the floor. "Are you alright buddy?"

"Yeah, I'm just perfect." Tyrone gave him a toothy smile. The Feraligatr raised a brow ridge up skeptically. "Hey, maybe you could help me."

"You mean besides me saving your life?" Tyrone waved his paw to sway him closer. "What? He waved his paw faster." The Feraligatr leaned in closer. Tyrone kissed him. The Feraligatr was shocked and pushed him off. He wiped his maw with an arm. "A little warning next time would've been nice and your breath smells like you've had a few too many berries to eat."

"Yep!"

"Really?" He began to walk away.

"No wait!" He stopped and turned around. "I need your help."

"What could you possibly want from me?"

"I want you to fuck me."

"Listen, you're intoxicated, you don't know what you're saying."

"Please, I really want this." Tyrone stumbled getting up to his hind paws, and slowly made his way over to him. "Will you please do this for me? I know you're gay."

"Yeah, but you're not."

"Please. I won't complain."

"So is that why you kissed me?"

"I was trying to butter you up."

"You really want to do this don't you."

Tyrone nodded. "Yes." He laid on his back. "Please be quick, I want to get this done before the berries wear off."

"If you insist." The Feraligatr parted Tyrone's legs and crouched over him. It didn't take long for him to get hard with foreplay, and he got right to it. He entered Tyrone slowly. The typhlosion shuddered upon entry. He had never experienced anything like this before, and he was sure that this would put his body into shock. The Feraligatr thrusted into him without giving him much time to adjust to his size. "I'm not hurting you am I?" Tyrone winced in pain but told him, Of course not, keep going. The Feraligatr shrugged and continued on. After a while Tyrone demanded that he go faster and harder. The Feraligatr stopped for a brief moment. "Are you sure about that?"

"I've never been more sure."

Once again the Feraligatr just went on with what Tyrone had wanted. He thrusted faster and harder into him. Around ten or so minutes after the shift in pace, Tyrone started to wrap his arms around the Feraligatr's neck and counter thrust to make him go deeper into his body. The Feraligatr could feel the difference, and his shaft pretty much hilting Tyrone with each thrust into him, but even though he knew that the Typhlosion underneath him wasn't gay, he sure seemed to be enjoying himself, that was for the time being. It wasn't much longer after that when, the Feraligatr prodded Tyrone's prostate which caused a chain reaction of him simultaneously yelping and tightening his inner walls around the Feraligatr's shaft, making the larger water type shoot his seed, filling the tight cavity. The Feraligatr leaned forward on instinct, to kiss Tyrone and to his surprise, Tyrone met his open maw in a kiss that would be their last. The Typhlosion looked up at him with half lidded eyes.

"Thank you for that." The Feraligatr smiled and replied back, You're welcome, before he pulled out of him and made his way back into the pond and swam off. "And I never got his name..." Tyrone managed to say before passing out from exhaustion.

He later awoken to find that his plan to put his body in shock had worked after all, but he couldn't recall what had happened the night before, after eating the pile of mixed berries.

As much as she tried to explain, Lilith told him of the part that she knew, which was only the sex. It didn't work very well though as all he could recur was blurs and faded colors of the scenery.
