Valley of Wings chapter 2
#2 of Valley of Wings
Chapter 2 of "Valley of Wings". Now we get to the good stuff. This being the first time I have attempted to write an adult story I hope it's not too bad. Please point out any problems you have with it.Once again, thanks for reading and any feedback is appreciated as I try to become a better writer.
Ryan slowly walked through the trees along a small dirt path. It was barely wide enough for his large body. His father had been right: he had transformed in his sleep. The transformation had not woken him, but something else had. Something that he was trying to find. It was nighttime but he could see extremely well. His eyes absorbed every bit of moonlight and reflected it. To him it was clear as day.
Ryan probably should have felt strange being in a new body, but it just felt natural. Everything around his seemed so small. At one point he turned a corner in the path and came face-to-face with a bear. Normally he would be scared, but now, compared to him the bear was no bigger than a dog. Ryan gave a warning growl and the bear took off into the trees. Ryan listened to it crash through the underbrush. Then another sound caught his attention. Something was chattering loudly to his left. He swiveled his head and saw a squirrel darting around a tree. His sensitive hearing had picked up its quiet voice.
He started moving down the path again. The sights, sounds, and smells were overpowering. All around him the trees gave off a strong scent of pine, however, there was another smell. This smell was stronger than anything. It's what woke him up, and now he was moving towards it down this path. He had no idea why, he just needed to find it.
After another minute of walking down this path he came to a small clearing. In the middle of the clearing, facing away from him, was the same blue dragoness that he had seen earlier. She had seemed so large before, and now Ryan realized that he was slightly larger. The smell seemed to be coming from the center of the clearing, where she was sitting. He sniffed the air deeply and the dragoness, hearing him, turned her rear towards him. A wave of the scent hit him and his mind clouded over.
Ryan continued to sniff as he honed in on the scent. The dragoness did not try to move as he slowly approached. As me moved closer his head got lower and lower to follow the scent. Soon his muzzle was pressed up against the base of her tail. She shifted her tail out of his way and he found himself inches away from his objective, the slim, seductive slit sitting underneath her tailhole.
Another wave of scent hit him and he pressed his muzzle forward to meet it. The dragoness was dripping with excitement; Ryan tentatively stuck his tongue out and licked at it. A few seconds ago Ryan had been intoxicated my the scent, but the taste was so much better. He needed more of it. In an instant he found himself lapping away greedily. The dragoness released a small moan as his tongue spread her open and pleasured her both inside and out.
Ryan drew back, panting, and felt a tightening sensation between his hind legs. Before he could react the dragoness had shoved her head under him and started licking at his own slit. Slowly his member began to poke out. Ryan was hypnotized by the sensations as the dragoness slowly licked it up and down. He was brought back to reality when the dragoness, obviously displeased that he had stopped, lifted her rump closer to his face. Taking the hint, he began again in earnest. For a while he pleasured her in a frenzy. He would lick around her moist sex before penetrating her with his tongue, exploring inside her for a while, and withdrawing to start the process over again.
Ryan's erection now stood tall and proud, a deep crimson rod of flesh. At full length he was about 30 inches; a row of ridges ran along the bottom of the shaft, and a large knot sat at the base, not yet fully inflated. The dragoness had him fully in her mouth and occasionally, as Ryan pleased her, she would release a low, rumbling moan of pleasure. The feeling of her muzzle around his draconic cock, her tongue wrapping around it, and the vibrations from her moans of pleasure, were almost too much for him. After a while he slowly pulled away from her.
She looked up in disappointment, and then instinct took over. She turned away from him, raised her rump into the air, and shifted her tail out of his way. With a low growl Ryan lunged forward and climbed on top of the dragoness, slipping once in his impatience. He pushed his hips forward a few times, eager to take the willing dragoness, but was clumsy in his attempts. The ness adjusted her rear and soon the tip of his penis was pressed against her entrance making her hiss in pleasure. In one swift thrust he buried half his shaft inside her. Ryan stopped, panting, halfway inside the dragoness, adjusting to the new sensations.
After catching his breath, Ryan slowly pulled out of the ness before ramming back in. Again he did this, enjoying the dragoness' moans underneath him. He increased his speed as he moved in and out of the dragoness, his growls of lust mixing with the ness' moans of pleasure. He was moving at a frenzy pace, faster than he thought was possible. He was lost in his lust, not sure how much time had passed. Suddenly the dragoness' front legs gave way under his weight forcing her front end down and lifting her rump higher. Ryan fell on top of her and growled as his length buried itself up to its half-inflated knot.
Ryan lowered his head and bit down on the dragoness' neck as he started to thrust again. Not fast like before, but slower and deeper. With each thrust his knot pressed up against her lips, threatening to slip inside. The ness' walls tightened as she neared her climax, urging Ryan to pick up the pace, shoving himself deep inside her. He gave one more powerful thrust, forcing his knot inside her as it started to expand. Its entry sent the dragoness over the edge and she roared as her walls clamped down on his member. His orgasm was not far behind. His cock throbbed inside her, releasing ropes of seed into her womb, his knot refusing to let any of it escape.
Both the dragons fell to the side, collapsing onto the ground in exhaustion. Ryan quickly dozed off and the dragoness, content where she was, curled up against him and closed her eyes too. She grinned as his wing stretched to cover her and soon fell asleep as well.
****
Ryan did not open his eyes right away. He sat there, half asleep, curled up against the blue dragoness. She murmured in her sleep and snuggled closer to him. He sighed and sat listening to her slow, steady breathing. It was relaxing to feel the rise and fall of her breath; he wanted to stay there forever, but then the reality of the situation hit him like a ton of bricks. He wanted to scream in horror but he was frozen in fear, so he satisfied the urge with a bout of internal screaming. Did I...? Oh God. I did. I couldn't control myself right? I was in...like... a trance or something. How am I going to explain this?
"What in the hell is going on here?"
Please no. Please don't be...
Ryan opened his eyes to the sight of his father, hands on his hips, a furious expression on his face. _Oh the timing,_Ryan thought, and then the panic kicked in. He jumped to his feet and immediately put a few feet between himself and the dragoness, all the while attempting to stammer an explanation. "I swear I didn't mean to. I... I was hypnotized or something." He lowered himself to the ground, trying to make himself as small as possible. It must have been a strange sight; a dragon of almost 40 feet cowering before a human.
The blue dragoness, awoken by the commotion, watched with interest. She looked a little ashamed herself but not nearly as panicked as he was. Ryan continued to try and explain himself but could not seem to finish a sentence. His father listened for a while before doing the last thing Ryan was expecting: he laughed. His laughter grew in volume until he was practically rolling on the ground. He managed to calm himself down before muttering the word "hypnotized" under his breath and falling prey to another fit.
"Wh...what is going on?" Ryan stood up cautiously and stared in bemusement. His confusion was slowly replaced by anger. "Why are you laughing at me?" he demanded. His father, finally getting himself under control, looked up at him and sighed.
"Calm down and listen to me for a second. I'm not upset and you did nothing wrong. Now shut up and follow me." Without another word he turned around and began to walk out of the clearing. Ryan started to rush after him but quickly realized he didn't have to. His strides were so much longer than his father's in this body. He looked over his shoulder at the blue dragoness and saw her wave a wing in farewell as he entered trees and soon lost sight of her.
Ryan was bursting with question but he knew now was not the time. Instead he occupied himself by looking over his new body. Everything about it was unfamiliar to him but he felt, well, he could not really describe what he felt. He was different in every way but it was as if he had finally become himself. Everything felt right. Last night he had been too distracted to fully appreciate it all. His eyes were sharper, picking up the smallest details and movements. With his new hearing he was able to tell where the slightest sounds were coming from.
His smell though, was like an information overload. Everything had a scent, millions of them surrounding him. He could smell the birds flying around the trees, his father walking in front of him, and now that he was focused he could smell the dragoness in the clearing far behind. The strength of her smell confused him at first, as if she was right next to him, but then he realized that her scent was all over him. He became aware of his own scent and of how the two mixed together. "Great,"_he thought, _"Just what I need. A flashing neon sign saying 'Hey, I slept with someone'. I hope no one else can smell this."
His physical changes were just as, if not more, profound. From the tip of his tail to his head he was about 40 feet in length. His neck and head about five feet long, his tail measuring close to fifteen, and his body making up the rest. His shoulders stood a good ten feet off the ground and a large set of wings sat folded against his back.. His four legs were thick and powerful and his feet each had a set of four sharp ivory talons. From what he could see he was mostly black. His scales seemed to absorb the light from around him. The flesh over the bones of his wings was a deep crimson but the soft membrane stretching between them was just as black as his body. A row of short, ivory spikes trailed down his back and ended at the base of his tail. He could not see them but he could feel more spikes along the back of his neck and a set large horns on his head.
Looking over his body he found more places where black gave way to red. The thicker scales on his underbelly, the front of his neck, the lower half of his legs, and the tip of his tail were all that same crimson color. He attempted to stretch out one wing but found it nearly impossible with all the trees around him. He estimated his wingspan to be nearly as long as his body but he could not properly tell. For a brief moment he wondered if flying would come naturally. He was never the most graceful person and falling out of the air would be an embarrassing way to die.
Ryan was so lost in thought that he did not notice when he moved from the narrow forest path and into the large housing area he had woken up in the day before. He also did not notice the large object in front of him until he collided with it. Looking up in surprise he saw his father standing there as a dragon. Everything Ryan had noted about his own appearance was true of his father. His father was a little larger but the colors were exactly the same. It was strange; as a human Ryan took after his mother in every way, the black hair, blue eyes, and average height. His father, on the other hand, was tall with sandy blond hair and brown eyes. As a dragon however, they were nearly identical.
"Are you done admiring yourself?" his father asked jokingly. "We're meeting your mother down by the lake."
"Christ. Does she know too?" The thought of talking to his mother about what had happened filled him with dread.
"Not yet, but she will. We can smell it on you."
"I was afraid of that." Ryan grumbled under his breath. His father smirked at that and turned around, heading down the row of cabins towards the field. Ryan followed behind at a faster pace now that his father was in dragon form. They quickly found themselves walking down the hill overlooking the lake, the same hill where he first saw the blue dragoness. The town below was full of activity and, judging by how high the sun was, Ryan had slept until at least noon.
"Let's go." his father said over his shoulder. "Stop slowing down." Ryan quickened his pace until he caught up and was trotting right behind him. As they entered the town they passed several other dragons along the road, all of whom turned to watch him. A few even went so far as to sniff at him, but none of them reacted beyond mild amusement. Ryan had been expecting glares and accusations but instead he was the butt of a joke. He lowered his head in embarrassment and tried to ignore everyone around him.
Glancing up momentarily he saw two dragons, both male, walking side-by-side towards him and his father. One of them was a brilliant gold and the other was deep purple. They moved to opposite sides of the path to allow passage between them. As Ryan approached them the gold one stepped in front of him. For a moment they looked each other up and down until the gold dragon spoke. "You hurt my sister and I hold you down while she hurts you." Ryan instantly understood what he meant. This was the blue dragoness's (probably older) brother. He tried to find words but his mind went blank. Thankfully the purple dragon saved him.
"Come on Seth. Stop scaring the poor guy." The gold dragon gave him one last look before he and the purple one continued down the road. Ryan watched them move closer to each other and saw their tails entwine. Sniffing the air he was able to pick out their scents and noticed how they mixed together to become one. "Huh," he thought, "I guess dragons can swing that way too." He shrugged it off and hurried after his father.
As they drew near to the lake he saw his mother basking in the sun, her green scales reflected on the nearby water. She must have heard their approach because she lifted her head to watch them. She didn't say anything as they drew close, she simply waited. Ryan's father sat on the grass next to her and motioned to the space in front of them. "Sit." he said. He waited for Ryan to take his place on the ground before saying "Don't move." and walking a short distance away with his mother. Ryan watched them talk for a bit but was unable to hear anything.
Ryan took the extra time to peer at his reflection in the lake. With almost no wind the water was like a mirror. He could see everything about himself that he was unable to earlier, mostly his head. He had been right about the spikes along the back of his neck and about the horns. His horns were ivory like his claws and his teeth looked just as deadly. His head was mostly black. The only exceptions were a ridge of thick scaled along the top of his snout that extended over his eyes, giving off the appearance of eyebrows, and two horizontal stripes on top of his muzzle. His eyes were bright red with a narrow black silted pupil. Thinking back he realized that his father's had been the same. Finally, after much quiet discussion, his parents walked back towards him and sat back down.
"I honestly thought you would take after me and not your father." Ryan wasn't sure what he was expecting his mother to say but that defiantly wasn't it.
"What do you mean?"
"Your colors. You have always looked more like me so I thought as a dragon you would be the same. Apparently I was wrong. Now, let's talk about this girl."
"Here we go." Ryan thought. He launched into the explanation that he had thought over in his head. "I don't know what happened. I woke up and couldn't control what I was doing. I'm so sorry about everything. I..."
"Stop," his mother cut him off mid-rant. "I speak, you listen. Got it?"
Ryan lowered his head and prepared for the verbal punishment. "Got it."
"Good," she continued. "First of all, we are not mad at you. Second, you did nothing wrong." Ryan looked up in surprise. This was not at all what he expected. "What you need to understand it that things work a little differently for dragons."
Ryan groaned. "Oh god. This is going to be like the sex talk isn't it?"
"Yup," his mother said. He could see his father hiding a chuckle and shot him a glare. "Not let me speak. When a dragoness is in heat she puts off her scent. Most males can resist it but since you have never experienced it before you had almost no chance. It might have even been the trigger for your transformation."
"But what I did..."
"You did not do anything that she did not want you to do. If she wanted to stop you then she would have. She probably had no idea that you had no control."
"But what if I got her pregnant or something? Could that happen?"
She shook her head. "A dragoness's eggs are kept separate from the womb. They won't be fertilized unless she wants them to be and I can assure you that she doesn't. Mating is one thing, bearing someone's eggs is a different thing altogether."
Ryan's felt a little relieved at that but his head was still swimming with questions. "What about the scent? Will that last forever?" Ryan noted that his parent's scents seemed to merge into on just like the two male dragons they had passed on the road.
"Now that's something that even we don't fully understand. We know it won't last unless the two of you stay together. It fades over time. The part we don't understand is how scent can show if two dragons are compatible. Sometimes they stay separate but when they merge the dragons usually stay together. I might have something to do with personality, we just don't know for sure."
"I'm getting a headache from all this," Ryan groaned. "Are you saying that me and her will stay together? I don't even know her." Despite his protests he found himself thinking of the blue ness: Her slender body, her deep blue eyes. Ryan shook himself out if his daydream just in time to hear his mother answer.
"It's never one-hundred percent. All I'm saying is that it's possible and very likely. That's why you're going to meet her for lunch today."
Ryan's jaw dropped. "I'm what?" Ryan heard his father laughing but was too flustered to say anything about it. They couldn't do this to him. But they were. His parents were trying to set him up with someone he'd just had sex with.
"Ryan," his mother said, taking pity on him. "This if the easiest was to get through this. Just ignore what happened and get to know her. It'll be like a regular date."
"I'm pretty sure the sex is supposed to come _after_the date, not before. Probably after more than one date."
"She'll be just as nervous as you are. Just give it a try. You'll probably be pleasantly surprised. "
Ryan let out a long groan. "Can we just go home now?"
His father chimed in to answer. "If you hadn't noticed, you're a freakin' dragon. You need to learn to control your transformations before we can leave, which is exactly what we are going to do now. Follow me."
Ryan looked at his mother questioningly and she waved him off with her wing. Obviously their talk was over. Ryan's father walked up to the water and Ryan joined him. "So, how do I turn human again?"
His father grinned and shrugged. "I don't know. Try."
Ryan rolled his eyes and peered into the water, trying to imagine his human face. It turned out to be harder than he thought. For some reason he couldn't picture the face that he had grown up with. He squeezed his eyes shut and tried to concentrate on being human. He was interrupted by a snicker to his left. He looked and saw his father holding in laughter. "What?" he asked, irritated.
His father continued to chuckle. "You look like your constipated when you do that." He quelled the laughter and put on a serious face. "It's not something you make ** ** happen, it's something you let happen. Just relax and think of being human."
Ryan turned towards the lake again and closed his eyes. This time however, he tried to clear him mind; not an easy task considering everything that had happened recently. Slowly he relaxed and thought about being human. Small, two legs, no wings. After a while it felt like cold water was rushing over his body. He shivered and rubbed his arms. Arms... he had arms. He opened his eyes and looked down at himself. He was human again, sitting on the grass in the clothes he had worn to bed.
"It worked," he said, turning to look at his father. He instinctively looked up only to realize his father wasn't a dragon anymore. He was standing there as a human with his arms crossed. "Showoff," Ryan grumbled.
His father let out a chuckle before saying "Good job."
"One question though," Ryan said. "How am I still wearing my clothes?"
His father grinned, shrugged and simply said "Magic bitch."
****
Ryan paced nervously in front of the small restaurant. In truth it wasn't even a restaurant, more like a small log diner. There were a few booths inside and a large pavilion with picnic tables out back. When he ate dinner there with his parents last night he noticed that all the food was free. He asked them about it and they explained how it all worked. They got shipments of food every month, more than enough for everyone, and prepared it. Everything was basically already paid for by the owner of the valley. His mother found him a nice change of clothes in the storerooms that fit him so all that was left for him to do was wait. People and dragons alike passed by and gave him curious glances , some even waved, but no one stopped to talk.
After a while of pacing he sat down against the side of the building and tried not to think about what was coming. It was a futile effort: he could not get the blue dragoness out of his head. He wondered briefly if he would even recognize her as a human but that question was immediately answered when he saw her walking down the road towards him. He was not sure how he knew it was her, but he knew. As she neared he looked her up and down, surprised by her beauty.
She was around his age, shorter than him, maybe about five and a half feet tall. She had a slim figure but that was due to her small stature. She was certainly not supermodel thin, and he was happy about that. She seemed like the kind of person who was confident in her looks and did not constantly try to change them. Her hair was long and wavy, flowing past her shoulders. It was dark brown but highlighted with strips of red. Her eyes, unlike her blue dragon eyes, were light green. He tried to think if she was more beautiful in this form but quickly realize he couldn't make that comparison.. When he looked at her he saw both at the same time.
As she approached he gave a hesitant wave. He returned it and stood up, walking to meet her. As they drew closer she tripped over her foot and fell forward. He panicked and rushed forward to help her but she regained her balance quickly. He stopped when he realized she was fine and looked down, embarrassed, but she seemed pleased with his reaction. We wondered if the trip was intentional, meant to gauge his reaction, but quickly put the thought out of his mind. If it had been a test then he had passed.
"Hey. I'm Ryan," he said feebly. His mind kept going back to last night and he felt the heat rising in his face.
She smiled weakly in return, her face almost as red as his. "I'm Elene." They both stood awkwardly and shuffled their feet until he finally managed to say something.
"Want some lunch?" It wasn't much, but it was a start. She nodded weakly, not quite meeting his eye, and followed him into the diner. She waved to the owner, a thick, burly man with a large mustache and beard. He waved at them in return and pointed at a booth in the corner.
No sooner had they walked to the booth and sad down when Elene blurted out, "I'm sorry. Your mom told me how you weren't in control. If I'd know I would never had done that. I didn't mean to force you into this. Please don't be mad at me." She took a deep breath and looked at him with pleading eyes. Ryan, not knowing what to do, let a little of his dry humor slip through.
"How can I be mad? I'm impressed you got all that out in one breath." He saw the slightly hurt expression on her face and quickly rushed to fix it. "You had no idea, I had no idea, neither of us are to blame. It just happened. And besides, it not as if it wasn't a particularly pleasant experience." She smiled at this and he relaxed. Crisis averted.
The owner came by their table and pulled out a notepad. "So, what can I get you folks?"
Ryan looked around for a menu but did not see one. "I don't know." He turned to Elene. "What's good around here?"
Elene grinned and looked up at the owner. "We'll have the blueberry pancakes."
The owner scribbled on his notepad. "Alright. I'll get those out and bring you some orange juice to go with it." He rushed off into the kitchen leaving them alone again. The restraint was empty and completely silent. They both sat there awkwardly for a time before Ryan attempted conversation.
"So, blueberry pancakes huh?"
Elene nodded vigorously. "Yeah. I know it's lunchtime but they're the best. The conversation drifted into silence once again and after a while Ryan noticed some faint music in the background. He concentrated on the tune, trying to recognize it. Bohemian rhapsody. Nice. He found himself slowly swaying to the music and when he looked over at Elene she was doing the same. Their eyes met and they both grinned. Then, when the lyrics started, she started singing. Ryan quickly followed suit.
Neither of them could sing very well, but neither of them cared. They were enjoying the music. The owner must have heard them from the kitchen because the music got louder. Soon they were going all in, doing the voices while trying to hold back laughter. Once the song finally ended the conversation started. It didn't matter what they were talking about, they were just talking. They hardly even noticed when their food was brought to the table.
