Anthro Vs Human chapter 8
Alright. So here is chapter 8 such as it is. I figured short and sweet is better then nothing. Sorry to all that enjoy the story for the long wait. Hopefully this has helped break that wall I was hitting head first every time I tried to think of what to do with it. I guess Alex realizing his feelings was a good way to go.
"King Nicholas as you know I have your daughter Koren here in my kingdom with me. I am letting you know that she is perfectly safe and being taken care of. With that said you are aware that my father died in battle at the end of the war between the two of you and as such I have had to take over his place as king. I am sending this letter as an invatation to you to come to my kingdom and see your daughter as well as to discuss a peace between our kingdoms." Alex sighed and rubbed the back of his neck with a grumble while he looked down at the overly short letter he had written. He had been up for most of the evening trying to get this written so he could send it out as soon as possible. Alex shook his head and finally signed his name before folding the letter up neatly and slipping it into an envelope before sealing it with a wax seal. He stood up from his desk and grabbed up one of his messengers. "Take this to the anthro kingdom. Personally hand it to King Nicholas before you even think of returning." The messenger blinked as he stared at his king with wide eyes and nodded some before he replied with a meek little voice. "Y...yes sir." The messenger grabbed the letter and hurried off.
Alex watched the messenger hurry off before he stretched out some. He stood there for a moment and sighing knowing what he was doing could cost him whatever life he wants to have with Koren. As he turned and walked down the hall towards his bedroom he thought on it, remembering how often Koren would sit at the window in his room and just stare outside thinking of her father. He knew not seeing him was killing her and she was homesick. He bit his bottom lip and stopped just outside his room, staring at the door before he sighed and pushed the door open, stepping inside and seeing Koren settled on the floor in front of the lit fire place. Alex stood there and stared at her wondering why he cared for her, how did he let himself fall in love with someone covered in fur. As he was staring at her Koren stood her ears up and lifted her head from the book she was reading to look over at him. She watched him for a moment before she gave him a smile. Alex felt his heart skip a beat as he locked eyes with her, his cheeks turning a faint pink as he looked away to close and lock his bedroom door.
Once he had the door locked he took a deep breathe and moved to sit with her in front of the fire. He sat beside her and looked to her as she tilted her head to the side a bit with a curious look coming to her face. "Alex...are you alright?" Alex smiled to her and nodded some, reaching up and gently running his fingers along her cheek, making her blush and purr softly as she leaned her head into his hand so her cheek was pressed into his palm a bit more then before. "Yeah kitten I am fine...just tired..Been up working on some papers and such." Koren nodded a bit to him and scooted over to him a bit closer to him so her side was pressed into his. "You just looked a bit...stunned." Alex chuckled and put his arm around her, grabbing her up and pulling her into his lap with her back to his chest. He wrapped both his arms around her as he took the book from her and set it aside. "Not really shock just..I dunno how to explain it." He rested his head on top of hers while his hands gently gripped onto her own, holding onto them and enjoying the feeling of her soft fur rubbing against his skin.
Koren stood her ears up and relaxed some in his grasp, purring softly and looking down at his hands while she smiled and laced their fingers together. Koren soon laid her head back on his shoulder and nuzzled her face against his neck, purring a bit louder while Alex closed his eyes. He knew he was in love with her and he knew he wanted her badly, wanted her to stay and be with him. He took a deep breathe and smiled some, knowing he should tell her but he never could tell his feelings without it being awkward. For now he enjoyed her, his hands pulling from hers as he pulled his head back and gently tilted her own head up with his fingers. He pressed his lips to her own, kissing her softly until he felt her return the kiss without any hesitation. Koren purred into the kiss, her tongue gently pushing into his mouth to rub against his own. Alex let out a soft groan when he felt her tongue, deepening the kiss before slowly pulling back and gently nuzzling his nose against her own. Koren pulled away and turned so she was facing him, climbing into his lap and straddling him as she nuzzled her cheek against his.
Alex wrapped his arms around her, running his fingers up along her back before he looked into her eyes with a smile on his face. "Your tempting me kitten..." Koren chuckled softly as she shook her head some. " No I am not. I am sitting in your lap and letting you pet me..." Alex laughed and gently swatted her rear, making her jump a bit and nip at him. "I am very tempted but tonight I just want to pet you...enjoy you." Koren blushed when she heard him and smiled as she nodded to him. She moved out of his lap and stood up, holding her hand out to him. "Then come on." Alex gently took her hand and stood up, walking with her to the bed then pulling her against him as he hugged her tightly. He pressed his lips to her softly, kissing her a few times while he untied the back of her dress, pulling it off of her and letting it fall around her ankles. Koren returned the last kiss before she pulled back while he rubbed his hands over her rear. "Go ahead and lay down." Koren nodded and purred as she pulled back. She turned and climbed into the bed while he got undressed. Once Alex was nude he climbed into the bed with her, pulling her against him once the covers were over them. "Your soft Koren..." She purred and gently tangled her legs with his own, licking his cheek before pressing her head to his, smiling softly. "Well I am covered in fur." Alex laughed softly and gently ran his fingers through the fur along her hips, letting his fingers trail over her back and rear, enjoying just laying there with her. He gently pulled her to him tighter, smiling as he felt her head lay against his chest and her breathing slow as she fell asleep. Alex felt like all this, laying there in the bed with her was right. He didn't want to lose her but he wouldn't force her to stay. He took a deep breathe and gently ran his fingers through her hair, listening to her soft breathing after she had fallen asleep against him. Alex bit his bottom lip lightly and looked to her, watching her for a moment before he whispered to her. "I love you Koren..."
