Cost of Life 2

Chapter 1: A Muddy Discovery

It had been raining extra hard all night and the ground outside Karen's estate was very muddy. The pink naga sighed heavily as he looked out the large glass window. This was the place he had been born in and grew up in. But now that his parents were gone, it seemed like a place of sorrow. He wanted something to lighten the place up a bit.

Lightning flashed outside the window, and in the darkness someone was running. Someone small, panting, and afraid. Christin, or Chris for short, had been running since last week, his body tired and exhausted. Why was he running? Because he had something to be afraid of. But he didn't know that he was going to run into that which he feared most.

Karen's face perked up a bit as he saw the rabbit running by his house. "Oh, the poor bunny." He quickly slithered outside to see if he was okay. The bunny had looked quite exhausted, after all. "Hello? Mister bunny?" Karen called out as he wore his rain coat and searched around in the mud.

Thunder rumbled all around Chris, making him whince and whimper, not too mention unhearing of anyone calling out. A flash of lightning blinded the boy for a moment, making his foot catch a root, falling on his face in the mud with a scream.

Karen quickly finds the bunny laying in the mud unconscious and carries him into his house. The naga sighs a bit as he carries the boy into the bathroom and begins to clean him up, starting by stripping down his clothes. "Oh, he's wonderful." Karen whispered excitedly as he began to wash off all the mud. It was clear that the bunny hadn't slept in days. After cleaning the lupine, Karen laid him on the couch and yawned a bit as he went to bed himself, not wanting to bother the bunny more than necessary and hoping that the bunny wouldn't leave before a proper thank you.

The storm outside continued on through the rest of the night, yet Chris wasn't woken up from his dead sleep. His chest would lift up and down with each breath he took, too tired to even consider waking up. And so he slept, until the morning...

A beam of thin sunlight shined down on Chris' face, making him whine faintly before he slowly opened his eyes. "Nnnn....h-h-huh?" he murmured, rubbing his eyes when he saw a roof over his head.

Karen had already been awake and dressed himself in feminine garments as he began to cook eggs for breakfast. He heard the bunny stirring and looked over to the couch. "Well, good morning, cutie. I took the liberty of cleaning you up last night. I hope you don't mind. You were really exhausted. And you managed to land with your face in the mud. You would have died from suffocation had I not pulled you out of the mud."

Chris heard the voice, but thanks to rubbing his eyes he didn't see the owner of the voice. He gave a soft murmur, still rubbing his eyes. "U-Uh....thank you....I-I didn't mean to trespass, I-I'll go I swear..." he says nervously, slowly turning to slip himself down off the couch.

"Oh? Where will you go? You seemed to be running from something. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that you don't have anywhere to go. Am I right?" the pink naga asked. He made his voice sound feminine because that's how he liked to be seen, as a female.

His ears perked as he heard the feminine voice. "M-Ma'am...I don't want to overstay my welcome...I-I'll grab my clothes and leave..." he offers, standing up and turning to give a polite bow. "Thank you for not letting me suffocate, I'll pay you back in th....th-the...." His voice had come to a standstill at this point, gazing at the pink naga. Karen would be able to see his eyes growing wide, not too mention his body was trembling.

The look in his eyes told Karen everything. "Please don't be alarmed. I'm mostly vegetarian. The only meat I eat is processed meat or willing meals. And I can tell that you are neither. I'm just in a bit of a....well....situation. You see...A few weeks ago, my parents passed away. They were killed by a hunter in their sleep. I guess you could say I was lucky that my skin was pink. Anyways, since then, this place has been reminding me of them and I need a friendly face around here to help cheer the place up a bit. And you have a very friendly face. Please stay. Won't you?"

Sadly for the pink naga, the only response he got wasn't well thought out or articulate. It was, simply put, a scream. A loud, horrified, almost shrill scream, complete with the bunny stumbling backward and landing against a wall, his whole body shaking violently while he continued pushing backward.

Karen's heart dropped. He fell onto the couch and began to cry. "I knew it. You hate me, don't you? Why'd I have to be born a naga." He began to sob heavily, not knowing what to expect from the bunny.

Chris covered his head fearfully, expecting the naga to lunge at him and squeeze the life out of his body, but instead he heard crying. He looked over to the couch, blinking in surprise. "You....You aren't going....to kill me...?" he asked, slowly sitting up, his body gently trembling.

Karen sniffed and wiped away his tears as he shook his head. "If I was going to do that, don't you think I would have done it last night?" Look, if you want to leave, go ahead. I won't stop you." Karen looked away, his eyes saddened once again from being left all alone, just like he was when his parents died.

The rabbit slowly moved toward the naga, feeling his heart was filled with guilt. "I...I-I didn't mean...to make you cry ma'am...." he said nervously, slowly sitting next to Karen on the couch. "I...I thought you...were going to eat me so suddenly...I had horrible experiance with a...another naga..."

Karen sniffed again and looked at him. "I figured as much when your face changed when you saw me. Would you like to tell me what happened?"

Chris flinched nervously, slowly looking downward. "I...I-I can't...I don't...want to relieve it...." he said sadly, his ears slumping down over his face. "Ma'am....can I...do anything to make up for what I did...?"

"Well, I have some friends who have some pets. And I really think you're cute. Maybe you could be my pet, too. At least for a little while. Say, two weeks? After that, you can stay as long as you want, as long as you clean up after yourself, that is."

His body nearly froze when he heard Karen mention the word pet. He had just managed to escape from being a pet to a truly awful being. Yet...this creature wasn't going to hurt him. Maybe that meant things would be different. "A-Alright...I-I can do that," he say softly. "So...do you want to be called Mistress...?"

Karen smiled. "You'd better." He giggled a bit and kissed him. It was meant to be on the nose, but he ended up kissing the bunny on the lips and didn't care whether to fix it. He could taste the bunny's saliva on his lips and enjoyed the taste.

Chris blushed as he saw the naga moving toward him, meeping when his lips were kissed. He nearly flailed, backing up. "U-Uh...M-Mistress I....I-I'm um....v-very gay...I-I don't think you'll want to do anything with me..."

"You know what, how about you wait till after tonight to say that?" Karen said seductively. "As your mistress, I want you to have sex with me tonight. If you still don't like it after tonight, then I won't make you, but until then, you have to. Now, first order of business. I would like you to...." Karen gasped and rushed back in the kitchen. "MY EGGS!!!"

He blinked in surprise when hearing the naga acting seductive, blushing softly before the sudden gasp and rushing into the kitchen. The pure randomness of that made him giggle softly, feeling a little relieved that he'd be able to wait until pleasing the feminine naga.

Karen sighed as she threw out the eggs. "And I had made them special for you too. You do like carrots in your omelet, right....uh....You know....I don't think you told me your name?" Karen began to wash the pan as she looked over at the bunny.

He looked over at the pink naga, still blushing. "E-Erm well...I like scrambled eggs with a carrot on the side..." he said nervously, worried Karen would take it harder than need be.

"Well, okay then. I'll cook it right up for you. You must be very hungry after all," Karen said as she began to scramble up some new eggs.

Chris gave a soft sigh of relief, watching as the naga moved about the kitchen. "Oh...And my name's Chris..." he called quietly, holding onto his legs shyly.

"That's a cute name. I like it," Karen said as he quickly cooked up the eggs. He quickly moved over and handed the plate to the bunny. "I want you to be comfortable here, Chris. If there is anything you would like, please, let me know."

He blushed as the plate was offered, nodding his thank you before starting to eat. The eggs tasted very good, and he forgot himself as he gobbled down the food like a wild, unfed pet you'd keep in the backyard in chains. After the eggs were finished, he took one of the carrots and began to nibble on it much like a rabbit would.

"So, did you enjoy your breakfast?" Karen asked. She had her own breakfast waiting, but the wolf was patient and had wanted this himself, having had nothing left to go to after his family died in a car accident weeks before.

Chris looked up from his carrot, giving a soft nod. "Y-Yes ma'am...it was very good..." he answered, his white fur showing a blush before he went back to the orange veggie, finishing the first one and taking the second.

"That's good. You stay right here while I go eat my own breakfast. I...I think it would be best if you didn't watch me eat. I'm kind of a slob when I eat. I'll be back soon, don't you dare leave, sweetie. I may not seem it, but I'm very fast." Karen giggled as he slithered into his room and began to slowly swallow down Jack, the voluntary wolf who had offered himself to the naga. Karen thought he had locked the door, however, it hadn't even closed all the way and there was a crack in the door.

Chris nodded as he watched the pink reptile move into his bedroom. His ears could pick up on the sounds of heavy, slow gulps and soft moaning noises, making his body feel chilled to the bone as his better judgment vanished and he moved toward the door. Slowly he made his way over, and peeked through the crack in the door.

Karen had been down to the hips of the wolf as he rubbed over the furred body, murring at the taste as he hadn't noticed the bunny outside the door. He gulped again, getting the wolf down to the hips as he slipped in further.

Chris saw what Karen was doing, his eyes getting wide in terror as he watched the scene unfold in front of him. Before the pink naga could see him, the rabbit scrambled to run into the bathroom, shutting the door quietly. He panted and trembled on the ground, even going so far as to whimper.

Karen murred as he slurped down the last of the wolf and sighed as he rubbed his now fully belly. He then noticed that the door was open and slithered out. "Chris?" he asked as he looked around the living room.

The little bunny's ears jumped up when hearing Karen, and slowly Chris stood up. He quickly wiped away his tears and calmed himself down before opening the door. "Sorry...I had to wash my face," he said apologetically.

"It's okay, my bunny pet. I was just..." Karen noticed that Chris's eyes were red. "Oh my....you saw me, didn't you?" Karen blushed and looked away. "Look, I want you to know that I honestly won't ever hurt you."

Chris flinched when he watched Karen blush and look away. He could hear how sad the naga was with each word. "I...I-I didn't mean to see..." he says softly, slowly reaching out with a paw. "But...why did...you eat that person...? I thought...you didn't eat people..." he asks, still feeling nervous.

"I said I only eat dead meat or willing meals. He came to me, not the other way around. He said that he had considered suicide and decided that becoming apart of a greater being would be better. I think we should sit down so that I can explain the situation completely," Karen said as he slithered over to the couch and sat down.

He blinked in surprise; that poor boy was considering suicide? Something horrible must have happened...Slowly Chris followed the naga to the couch, sitting where the coils weren't covering. "Is....is he going to be...o-okay? I mean....I-I know that...a stomach digests things but...is it going to be painful...?"

A slight moan came from the naga's stomach and Karen blushed. "To be honest, I get that kind of reaction a lot from my meals. You see, Naga's digestive juices end up giving a unique kind of pleasure. Right now, I'm sure that my wolf meal is glad that he decided to end things in my stomach. His name is....was Jack. A few weeks ago, his family had been killed in a car accident and since then he's lost everything, including the will to live.

"He had been a friend of mine since last year and he had told me about his vore fetish, but he had never actually considered becoming a meal until just recently. With no money and no place to go, he stayed with me for a few days, which cheered me up, but then he just left. I followed his trail and found him trying to hang himself in a warehouse and I stopped him. He said that he just wanted things to end and then he suggested this to me and I knew from the look in his eyes that he would just kill himself anyways if I had said no."

He blushed and nearly flinched when hearing the moan, watching the bulge slowly move around slightly. "O-Oh man....that...that's awful..." he says softly, feeling a desire to gently rub the bulge. "But....is this...really a better idea...? I mean...couldn't he get help...or stay with you?"

"Let me ask you this. If there was something that you really wanted and everyone said no to you, wouldn't you still try and get it?" Karen asked. "That's how he felt about people stopping him from committing suicide. At least this way, he feels pleasure as he dies rather than pain. And it was his decision. No one is telling you that you have to do it, are they?"

Chris looked downward sadly, nodding lightly before looking back at Karen's face. "S-Still....e-even this...i-it just feels like...he could have seen a therapist...or talked to someone...not just...decide that he should die..." he says softly, his mind recalling the horrible things he had gone through. The things he saw, what he was made to listen to...all of it was too horrid to describe.

"I understand that you don't like it. But how could he see a therapist when he had no money. And no one's going to hire someone who doesn't even have a house. He had been suffering from depression for years and the only thing that had kept him from committing suicide was his family. Once they were gone, he felt that there was no need left for him to stay on this planet. And then he found a reason, which was becoming a meal for me. I won't ever forget him. He was a good....I think he's trying to say something to you, would you mind pressing your ear to my stomach."

He flinches when he was asked to put his ear to the stomach. He swallowed nervously, closing his eyes to hide his tears before leaning down to listen. He could feel his body shake at the feel of the stomach against his head.

"Thank you for worrying about me, bunny. But please don't. This is what I want and it's amazing. For the first time in years, I'm not depressed. In fact, I've...I've never been happier. So, please, make Mistress Karen happy. If not for yourself, for me," Jack said as he pressed his head against Chris's through the stomach wall. After that, he passed out, knowing that those would be his last words.

Chris trembles as he listens to Jack, tears slipping out from his eyelids while he kept silent until the wolf passed out. When he couldn't hear him, he lifted his head back up and whimpered, hugging his own legs while his body trembled.

Karen gently placed his paw on Chris's shoulder. "Are you okay? I'm guessing this has something to do with who you were running from. Maybe it would be best to tell me what happened."

The bunny flinched as he felt the paw on his shoulder, slowly shaking his head. "I...I-I can't...." he said softly, sniffling faintly before rubbing his eyes clear of the tears. "But....if he's really putting that much trust in you.....I'll do it..." he says, looking up at Karen.

Karen smiled. "Well, I want proof," he said as he gently picked up the bunny and carried him into the bedroom. "I just ate Jack in here not even ten minutes ago. Now, I want you to have sex with me, right here." He had forgotten that having a stomach full of someone he had just recently ate made him horny and now he was starting to get horny.

He blushed nervously as he was carried by the pink serpent, softly wiggling in fear. "B...B-But I can't....n-not with a woman..." he says nervously, afraid that if he angered Karen it would be his undoing.

Karen just giggled. "Hun, you can stop pretending now. Yes, I like to be called a woman, but when it comes to sex..." He unsnapped a button and his clothing fell off, revealing his half hard shaft to the bunny. "...I'm definitely the dominant type."

Chris looked up at Karen, his eyes drifting down toward his groin, seeing that hardening shaft. His eyes grew wide in shock, and without warning he squirmed out from under the naga and dashed out of the room, heading right into the bathroom.

Karen was stunned by Chris's reaction. Hadn't he known all along? He had never been able to hide his maleness to anyone before. Or was it that he had done something wrong? Karen sat there, wondering what had just happened.
