Kétezer-hatszáznegyvennyolc... A világ?r megnyílt el?ttünk, hajóink messzi naprendszerek bolygóit érik el, folyik a környez? tér kolonizálása. Mindeközben a Föld túlnépesedett, súlyos társadalmi, politikai és gazdasági problémákkal, sokan, akik meg tudják fizetni, vállalkoznak az útra, az ugrásra az ismeretlenbe.

Milyen ez az új világ? Rideg fém és m?anyag, sz?k kabinok, hosszú hónapok apró hajókba zárva, míg végre a vándor valami holdat vagy bolygót elérhet. Kolosszális biodómok látnak el óriási búrák alatti városokat élelemmel, minden szintetikus, mesterséges, megterheli a szabad terekhez szokott lelket.

Mindezidáig csupán egyetlen él? bolygót találtunk, egyetlen helyet, mely talán visszaadhatja azt, amit az emberiség súlya alatt fuldokló Föld adhatott.

Tamás élete legmeghatározóbb döntését hozza meg, amikor szüleivel összeveszve, t?lük elválva e bolygó mellett dönt, egyedül vágva neki az ismeretlennek.

Ismeretlen? A csatornák folyamatosan ontják a híreket, reklámokat, új világok, új lehet?ségek, jelentkezz, utazz jó pénzért, megtalálod számításodat! A 61 Cygni A gázóriása körül kering? él? holdon már fél évezredes múltú négyszáz milliós kolónia várja a vállalkozókat, egy valódi új Föld akár!

Remény, egy világ, ahol már az ember rég megtelepedett, ismeri, uralma alá hajtotta természetes él?világát, mely immár a földi behozott fajokkal keveredve élhet? környezetet teremtett számára. Városok, falvak tagolják a hatalmas szabad tereket, akár egy igazi idilli világ is lehetne.

A leszállás után azonban hamar feltárul a valóság egy részlete, melyet az ?rbéli média elhallgat: a bolygó nem csupán él?, de értelmes fajai is léteztek, melyek hátramaradt tagjai zöld radikális csoportokkal szövetségben hajtanak végre véres terrortámadásokat az emberi civilizáció bástyái ellen...

Háttér

A történet nagyrészt 2016 végén készült el, az els? nagyregény a gepárdika (cheetaan) világban, melyet reményeim szerint továbbiak követnek kés?bb. Hatalmas felfedezések történnek manapság, a naprendszeren kívüli világot csak mostanság kezdjük igazán megismerni, mostanság döbbenünk rá, mennyire összetett, változatos világok lehetnek kinn a messzeségben. E gondolat inspirálja, mi lenne, ha... Mindeközben itt a Föld, az egyedüli él? bolygó mindeddig, és még sokáig, egyetlen hely, ahol élhetünk, melyet meg kéne ?riznünk, ahol fel kéne találnunk, hogyan élhetünk összhangban egymással és e hely él?világával, mely minket is éltet. A történet nem utópia, nem is szándékom aképp beállítani. Minden a maga törvényei szerint m?ködik, cselekszik, mely akár a morálnak, erkölcsöknek homlokegyenest ellent mondhat. De talán összességében csak mutat valamit, ha mást nem, egy különös, érdekes kalandot.

Twenty-six forty-eight... Space is opened wide, our ships reach towards planets of distant solar systems, man is colonizing near and far. The same time Earth is struggling by overpopulation, severe social, political and economic problems. Many who can afford, embark on the journey, a perilous journey towards the unknown.

What is this new world like? Cold steel and plastic, tiny rooms, for long months enclosed in small vessels until the wanderers could reach a planet or a moon. Colossal biodomes feed enormous cities under gigantic structures, everything is synthetic and artificial, depriving the mind of free and open spaces.

This far we could find only one planet with life, only one place which could possibly recall what old Earth struggling under our colossal mass could give.

Thomas makes his life's most important decision when he parts with his parents in a quarrel to pursue his dreams alone towards this planet, the unknown.

Unknown? The television channels keep pouring news and advertisements of prosperity, wonderful new worlds with rich possibilities, sign up, travel for good money, you will find what you seek for! The moon orbiting the 61 Cygni A's gas giant already has half a millennia of history, a colony of four hundred millions waiting for the adventurous, almost like a new Earth!

Hope, a world where human settled since long ago, a world well-known, the original ecosystem subjugated and mixed with that of Earth, creating an environment where we can prosper. Cities and towns spread out among the wide open spaces, it could be a true idyllic world.

After landing, however, a part of the truth soon reveals, which is quenched by space media. The planet is not only alive, it even had intelligent races, whose remaining members cooperate with radical environmentalists for executing bloody terror attacks against the footholds of human civilization...

Backgrounds

The story was mostly completed in the end of 2016, being the first large novel in the cheetaan universe, which I hope more will follow. We see great discoveries these days, space beyond our solar system is opening up, we realize how wonderfully complex and diverse worlds could exist far away. These thoughts inspire, “what if”... The same time here is our old Earth, the only planet with the miracle of life today and for long, the only place where we could thrive, which we should protect, preserve, and invent how we could live in harmony with each other and this place's ecology which is the foundation of our own living. The story isn't a utopia, I didn't even intend to convey it as such. Everything operates and acts by its own design and inherent rules, which could be very much against our ideals of morals and good will. However, hopefully it could still convey something, if nothing else, a strange, unusual adventure.

Currently the story is Hungarian only as it is my native language, and try as hard as I wish, without real life English experience I can not get something of such magnitude done in an adequate quality. However, I hope that at some point, possibly with a native speaker's help (probably a migrated Hungarian), an English translation could eventually be realized.
