Chapter one: Fresh from the Cage
to make it easier here what things mean italics are dialog or spoken words and * are for how the world and characters interact with each other and also is thoughts from the characters
*I started shuffling around the limited enclosure, I was trying to keep what information and sanity I still had left on myself*. my name is velvet I'm a fox, female, 18 years old. *I looked past the bars of my cell at all the other slaves and wonder how I didn't go crazy in my time here*. _maybe ill get "adopted" and wont have to suffer in this hellhole dressed in rags, just maybe. _*my ears perked up from foot steps coming down the hall, then it was followed by the explosion of barks, hisses and pleas to get picked to leave this place*.*sighs* _there no way ill get adopted, not with my cell being in the far back of the building *_yet I still heard the foot steps continue, closer and closer till they stopped. I looked down to avoid getting my hopes up but then I heard*
you look worn down and beaten but yet so buetiful *I looked up to see who the person was talking to then I saw him, a boy wearing a hoodie jeans and sneakers* would you like to come with me and be my slave I wont harm you I swear and it would do more than brighten my birthday * _I looked to see if he was lying but all I saw was warming smiling I.. I just couldn't refuse even if he was lying* _sure *As I said that he got up smiling I could tell he was a gentle person, too gentle but I like that*. HAY I WANT THIS ONE * he screamed at the workers. they came and unlocked the cage, I stepped out but as soon I did he grabbed my hand and told my _ to follow him and so I did *. *_ I followed him to the check out center where his dad was* you picking that one *his dad said* yep * well we have to hurry you do have a birthday to attend too*his father said the boy replied with a nod and looked at me with his head cocked making me giggle a little* I almost forgot to introduce myself, well my names jerry yours. *I replied with* I'm... velvet. *he grinned and said* well velvet you ready start you new life cause ill make sure it will be full of love and respect and oh yeah also lots of fun* he winked on the last word and just smiled as I never though that this day above all else would escalate so fast. But I wont complain*
sorry for it being short and if any grammar is bad this my first story and it is the same day (within three hours to be exact) I made this account. And I would love constructive feedback or any feedback, and if you want me to change what things mean like * for thoughts. to make it easier here what things mean italics are dialog or spoken words * are for how the world and characters interact with each other and also is thoughts from the characters, if you want me to change this I will if I others agree with changing it.
