No CGI: Migration 1
A sex scene in every chapter? That’s just silly, so no sex here.

{A sex scene in every chapter? That’s just silly, so no sex here.}
The raptors are restless. Anxious. Eager to move. You can tell as soon as you enter X’s studio. Other humans are here, cameras rolling, capturing a gathering of migrating species, something illegal in many countries and (sadly) marketable as a fetish video.
You find Charles sitting against one of the walls. He looks like he lost a fight with a tackle box. You cross the room, threading between the theropods milling about, and take a seat next to him.
“These are yours.”
The gym bag in your hand feels illegal, though it only has two machetes in it.
Charles reluctantly takes it and sets it down between his feet.
“Thanks.”
“Customs probably won’t let you take them on the flight.”
“I don’t want to fly.”
“Me neither. I kinda want to see what they do running cross-country, especially over the Rockies.”
You only managed to get one week off, and you practically had to beg. R promised you some VIP-backstage access wherever he could get it if you went as his “assistant” along with E. It was too good to pass up, but you can’t go the way they will go. You must fly, and then stay at a crappy motel, spending money on cabs. You aren’t hoping for anything. You just want to see E, R, and X at work, out west.
It surprised you when Charles wanted to get a flight, too. You managed to get seats together, coach.
“I want to be with her,” Charles continues. “It bugs me.”
“Her or him? Seems you’ve been spending a lot of time with her husband. Didn’t think you were the type.”
“I’m not, but his scent...” He sighs.
“What are you hoping to do on this trip?”
“I can’t say right now, but if all goes well, it’ll be worth it.”
“I hope so. Feels good to have somewhere to go for a vacation for once. Plus I can be with them without looking at the time, hoping nobody tows my car for being here too long.”
You notice X is wearing a backpack, taking some camera equipment with him no doubt. E is stretching. R is rubbing necks with everyone. You notice how many people take the chance to feel his bulging shoulders or arms. He is leaving a trail of lube around. Everyone is stepping in it, but they don’t seem to notice.
The humans in attendance are capturing this gathering from as many angles as possible.
“Well,” you say, rising, “I’m going to help them. I’ll pick you up Friday at seven.”
“See you then. Thanks.”
Charles looks preoccupied, but so far no one is saying why.
You walk to the equipment area and pick up a camera. You notice nobody is capturing this from any low angles. They’re missing all these slits going by.
It’s like a herd of zebra, or maybe deer if they behaved like a flock of birds that can’t group in the air. As more of them gather, they seem to be speeding up, rubbing against one another, running from one end to the other, around, back through, feeling everyone on the way, rubbing necks and everything else. Lots of scenting and licking slits, but no dicks coming out.
The raptors are giving special attention to T’s slit. They have practically swarmed her, but everyone is speaking in their native language, so everything they say goes in one ear and out the other.
The herd is moving fast now. So fast the raptors are practically running. It’s as if the herd itself is reaching climax, but you aren’t sure what’s causing it. Lots of claws hitting the concrete. Lots of slits on display, lots of noses freely inspecting, lots of heads and necks rubbing flanks and thighs.
Individuals are vanishing. The herd behaves as a group, and about two hours after you joined the crew to record it, the herd has reached climax. It files out the double doors and into the dinosaur district. You have already been told a few other humans and non-migrating dinosaurs have taken up posts down the street to capture the herd on the move. One other will follow in her car for as long as possible to get more motion shots.
R is one of the herd. E has also become one with it. You wonder what it’s like to be part a community like this. Switching off your camera, you label it with your name and drop the tape by the editing desk.
“That was amazing.”
Charles is walking up behind you, and you turn to meet him.
“I’m jealous. They are so united. So completely in touch with one another. Makes me wonder what humans are missing out on.”
“I wanted to jump in and join them.”
You smirk. “Wouldn’t have needed your machetes this time. By the way, have you seen the final cut of the sparring? It’s breathtaking, especially you and J.”
“I haven’t watched it. Don’t want to. It only reminds me that moment is gone, and now I have to be out there instead.”
“Tell me about it. I’d rather be at a sparring than the prison. Hell, I’d rather be cleaning up R’s slit juice than at my job. Well, vacation starts soon. We should land in California a day or so before they do.”
“See you Friday.”
Charles looks as if he’s walking the gallows instead of taking a flight to be with dinosaurs in Hollywood. You’ve tried asking him about it before, but he never has an answer.
Not one he will vocalize, that is.
