Once again I found myself sitting in my office, working on an article for work. I had a cigarette loosely hanging from my lips. I stared out into space, I recalled the last few months. Being nothing less then magical. I started to date a coworker named Merril Everthine. She is a beastfolk from another dimension. She like the rest of her kind came into this world to escape the doom world of their own. Most of us humans didn’t know how to react to such a thing. So we had a better time accepting them. Though there were some that distributed typical racist outburst towards the beastfolk. But where could they go? So three billion of them came into the world, causing the worlds population to explode from eight billion to eleven billion. One billion of them stayed in the continental U.S while the rest were distributed across the world.

More on my Merril is that she came into my town and started to work at my company. My boss had put her under my wing to show her around and train her. So I did, we worked together for over a year until I realized one night while sitting at a bar talking to her that I had certain feelings for her. Feelings I didn’t know I could have again. Not after what happen with my last relationship from my twenties. But of course one thing led to the other we fell deeply in love. I must admit we went very fast with our relationship but sometimes that how things tend to happen. Shortly after our first intimate moment, she came into her first heat cycle which is what all female beastfolk like herself goes through. It only happens after their first intercourse with a male. Funny thing however, beautiful concept is that, under normal circumstances that can’t get pregnant. They can only during their heat cycle or one week after it initially ends, can they still get pregnant. Rather interesting if you ask me, sort of a birth control and throttle the birthrate a bit. Female beastfolk typically go into heat about four or five times a year. There spread out in a twelve months span. It rather amazing how their species evolved like that. Scientist find their whole anatomy something of a marvel and pays very handsomely to whom ever lets them study on.

Back on track so shortly after our first intercourse she has her first heat, and this was on my 36th birthday. She wanted to treat to dinner and a movie. For most the night we had a lot of fun, I enjoyed every bit of it. Though towards the end of the night after the movie. So after that for the next month I took some time off to spend with her, finish up the holidays and usher in the new year. I took her on so many different cars rides. Showing her some of my favorite spots to go to when I need to be by myself or inspiration to write. At this point now, its been about two months now as we are about to celebrate valentines day. She was two months pregnant and was starting to have a bit of a bulge in her midsection. She started to wear more spandex type pants to stay comfortable.

We also decided to go on and move in together, we found a cute little house out in the country that’s far enough from people to not bother us. With being out in the country we sat near fields as far as the eye can see. I’m honestly thought about buying some land to expand when the time comes. But for now. This house is perfect for now.

I stood up from my chair and walked out of the office. I made my way down a hall and into the kitchen to start making something for lunch.

Something i haven’t made clear yet, Merril has taken a leave of absence until she has the baby and than she’ll probably return to work. Luckily for us, I make enough money not only at the newspaper company but recently one of my books started selling again so money has been blessing us. Truly grateful for it.

I opened the fridge up and pulled out several different things but to ultimately make a couple of sandwiches. I know for a fact that she was getting hungry since its already high noon.

I cut up some tomato’s, tore some lettuce. I started to construct four sandwiches. After I was done I filled the other half of our plates with our favorite chips and proceed to head to our room. I found Merril sitting up right leaning against the head of the bed. Watching tv, “Lunch my dear?” I asked sounding like a butler. She giggled a bit.

“Thank you love, I was definitely getting hungry. Plus I’m feeding for two now, not just myself anymore.” She said as she rubbed her belly. She had it all exposed and hanging out. Which honestly I found this very attracting for some reason. I handed her the plate of sandwiches and chip and began to rub her belly as well.

“I wonder what it’ll look like, I prey to god it’ll be healthy and strong.” I said.

I propped myself up onto the bed and sat next to her and ate my food. “So what are you watching?”

“New Jersey Shore, interesting little series…”

“Oh god out of all the shows your could possibly watch you choose that one. Those people are the plaque. Their rube, think the world owes them everything. And Every place they go to outside of New Jersey that trash it. I hate Jersey people.”

Merril burst out in laughter. “Don’t worry I was only watching out of little interest, I was interested in why their women think that men only exist to do their bidding only and don’t want to reciprocate that back. Like how we are with one another.”

“Well love, due to modern day times. After thousands of years of being subjugated by males the females have begun to do the same. I’m not going to lie most males are pieces of shit due them thinking their this hot shit and try to show out like their shit is made of gold or something.” I told her. Merril laughed even hard.

“You humans really are weird, we beastfolk once we are in love or have a bond with someone. It unbreakable, there nothing that we won’t do for someone we care about. If it means saving you life, I’d kill someone Protecting you.” Merril said.

“Be careful with that one, you can get locked up for a long time for killing someone even if it was for self defence. Things are not how they were hundreds to thousands of years ago. Humans have grown soft over the years. We can easily be manipulated from other humans.”

I finished my lunch and scooted down to where I could lay on the bed. Merril finished her lunch and cuddled up to me. We laid there for awhile watching tv. It was a nice feeling being able to do this.

“So have you done any more planning on our get together with our family?” She asked.

“Yeah, sometime in April I was planning on having the get together. My brothers and sister are looking forward to meeting you. I just wish my mother was still around. I really wanted you two to meet.” I said.

Merril tucked her muzzle under my chin and rubbed my neck. She coed at me, “I’m sure she would be happy for you either way Will. I can’t wait to have you meet my parents and my older sister. I know their going to approve of you. Your quite different then most humans I’ve come across.”

I kissed her on the forehead, “Thanks love.”

We laid there for awhile cuddling each other.

“So do you have any plans for tomorrow?” She asked implying about Valentines.

“I have some ideas, I’m not going to tell you. It’ll be surprise.” I said.

She looked up at me with an evil grin, I know that grin. “Mommy wants something from daddy.” She coed at me.
