Chapter Two
Going to High School in the 3000's
“Do I have to go to school." I whined looking at the School's Sign which read Worcester High School and then back at Leo, who over the past couple weeks has gotten me up to speed about the time period I found myself in. this building also used to be the site of Worcester Tech High School. Though that building is long gone.
“Yes it would be suspicious if you didn't. Also I had your name be forged as Hunter Leoner so don't worry about anything okay." Leo said.
He has honestly been the best thing to have around as I wasn't from this Era.
“Fine." I sighed. The hover cars were definitely interesting. I had gotten a new phone that was some kind of Weird Frame of metal with an unbreakable Glass inside the frame along with a button on the side to make a holographic display appear. Thankfully it wasn't too hard to use.
I walked into the main office and told the Secretary who was a Human female that I was a new transfer and gave her my name.
“Ah yes. Hunter Leoner. Male Lion. Yes yes it's all here. She said without looking up. She handed me a tablet that was also holographic in nature. She tapped a button on the top of the screen that said Schedule on the Home Screen. “here's your schedule. Have a good day." she said dismissively.
Since today was Monday that meant my schedule looked something like this.
Monday
First Period: Quantum Physics
Second Period: History
First Break
Third Period: Language Studies
Lunch
Fourth Period: Math
Fifth Period: Superhero Studies
Free Period
I nearly threw up. They gave me Quantum Physics. I can barely do math. I stopped walking and looked like I was gonna break down. Before I got rudely pushed aside by another Lion who looked just as big and muscular as I did.
“Why don't watch where you're going Newbie." he snarled in my face.
Crowds started gathering around the confrontation.
“Because I wasn't the one who wasn't paying attention and rudely bumped into someone else." I replied my mouth probably getting me in trouble again.
“What was that. Do you wanna have a go." he roared.
“Please it would do nothing. Your intelligence level must be low and filled with only football as your jacket suggests." I said smoothly.
The Guy Charged and I just stepped aside in an instinctive reflex.
He ran right into a teacher who was coming to see what the ruckus was about.
“Martin's Principal's office now." the teacher who was a titanic Wolf and looked to be the Gym Coach roared. Wow he rammed the Gym Teacher. 'What horrible luck.' I thought.
“who was he trying to charge at?" the Teach asked the crowd.
“The New Guy. The Lion with the 27 tattoo on his forearm Mr. Darren." a Girl who was wearing a Martin's Fan club Pin. Great a groupy.
“What's your name." Mr. Darren asked.
“Hunter Leoner." I replied
“Leoner You are to also go to the Principal's office." he said
Wonderful first day and not even past First Period and I am already being sent to the Principal's Office.
I pulled a map of the school on the Tablet and walked to the Principal's office. Which was marked as Principal Liongar's office.
The Guy Martin's was furious and still glared at me.
I ignored the look. I had enough of that back in 2014 2015 2016 2017 and 2018 High School. I will be damned if I was gonna take that shit sitting down.
“Martin's and Leoner you may enter now." a voice said from beyond the Door to the Principal's Office I walked in first and the asshole that he is decided to trip me. I gave him my ultimate death glare which had him tense up. I walked to a chair and sat down in it. Ironically the Principal was also a Lion. How many Lion's does it take to make a School. Three apparently. Wow I make jokes even inside my head.
“So it's not even first class and you are already making trouble by harassing the new student. There was multiple student's who took a video of the event that transpired. So you bumped into Hunter here and then proceeded to get into his face when he was just standing there looking as his School Tablet which according to Patrol was just his school schedule. Do I need to remind you that you are on thin ice as it is for sending another Student who was human to the hospital for being gay which is again not okay as no one in this school should have to fear being who they are." the Principal said.
“Well it wasn't me who started it he was saying something about being a dumbass." Martin's complained.
“In my defense I was just reacting to your hostility and I never said dumbass. I believe I said something along the lines as having low intelligence." I said
“So Dumbass." Martin's said.
“No I said Low Intelligence. I said nothing vulgar." I replied.
“Alright enough Martin's your suspended for One Week. Leoner you get a warning. Leoner head to your Second Class." Principal
I walked out of the office only to hear Roaring from both the Principal and Martin's.
I headed to history class to which was on the Second Floor in room 301
“Hello Class my name is Mr. Tyler and I am your History Professor for this term while your other teacher recovers from a nasty case of the cold." a skinny but athletic Panther said.
“Today for a fun class we are going to look back to the First Case of Time Travel seen here in Worcester. I am of course talking about the Disappearance of an Entire Bedroom on Grafton Street." he said.
“Now on **/**/2019 an entire bedroom vanished from the building while somehow keeping structural integrity. At the time the Apartment in which the Bedroom vanished was being rented to one Jose-Luis Cruz and One Antonio Cruz. It was found that Antonio Cruz vanished along with the bedroom. Now when the Bedroom reappeared certain items were missing. Including things the Father Jose-Luis Cruz said Antonio wouldn't let himself be caught dead without. The investigation launched ended in a cold case and the disappearing room was dismissed as mass hysteria. When Jose-Luis Cruz Died on **/**/2069 his last words were. I love you Antonio. He had actually gone crazy and had to be institutionalized after the Bedroom and indeed his son vanished. No trace was ever found however in moment lucidity Jose-Luis Cruz wrote thing's he wanted his son to know upon his gravestone." Mr. Tyler explained
“and Those words were?" The Teacher asked
A Wolf raised his hand in the back and the teacher called on him.
“Yes Wolf and what is your name."
“Matthew Blodycan and his father had engraved upon his gravestone Wherever you may be in time I will always love you. This basically teaches the consequences of time travel unintentional or not." Matthew said before staring into my eyes and making my blood run cold.
“Thank you Mr. Matthew's. Now can anyone tell me who the Prophet of Worcester is and her statement regarding this Event and in particular Antonio Cruz." Mr. Tyler asked.
A Female Human raised her hand.
“Yes Ms. Uh?" Mr. Tyler said calling on her.
“Serena Serena Cruz." she said proudly.
“Yeah she should be proud. it's her damn ancestor that vanished and was immortalized in history." Matthew whispered to a human seated next to him. Serena turned and Glared at him she heard him. That sounds like me as human with sensitive hearing though now that I have the ears of a cat it's much clearer.
“My Ancestor's Uncle vanished due to whatever happened. The Prophet of Worcester Madame Delaroza spoke of the day he would reappear. However she only said he would reappear. Not how and not when only that he would and for those that think there is a prophecy there isn't she only said he would reappear because that's how time travel works." she said smugly.
Oh Brother who did these people think I am. Jesus Christ? Because as far as I have been told he already came back down as a wolf no less. it's not like I can help people in that manner.
Though my genetic testing done at the hospital under the guise of Leo wanting to know if I was his real son. The test showed my Human DNA was mixed with his Lion DNA and that I got lucky cause if I hadn't been a lion. Which I wasn't until I got his blood on me. I would have had Hemophilia which I did.
The Bell rang and it was now first break. Everyone was heading to the Cafeteria.
Upon finding an empty table to sit down I devoured the Sausages which had I still been human I would not have eaten. Then that Wolf Matthew came and sat down next to me along with his friend.
“Can I help you?" I asked.
“Yes you can tell us why you are here in our school. We don't tolerate you Outsider's." he snarled quietly.
“Excuse you. I have no idea what you are talking about. So leave me alone please and thank you." I said.
“No you are going to tell me." he growled and spilled my milk all over me. I turned to Glare at him straight in the eyes. Anyone I was close to as human said the glare I was giving him right now was terrifying as they said my eyes became a void of pure emotion. He yelped and ran away.
“Must everyone keep picking fights with me." I yowled in frustration.
I exited the cafeteria after throwing away my food and headed to the locker room after grabbing a spare change of clothes and took a shower washing the Milk out of my Fur. Then as if today couldn't get worse. Two jocks walk in.
“Hey isn't that the Lion that got Martin's suspended again." The Wolf asked.
“Yes." a Malamute said from next to him.
Wonderful another damn confrontation.
“Look can we skip the Confrontation brewing. I have had enough for one day." I sighed.
“No we just wanted to thank you. That guy seems to have the idea it's still the 21st century." the wolf said.
“Oh. Um okay?" I replied confused.
I also wanted to see if you wanted to hang out with us at lunch with some of our other friends." the wolf asked smiling.
“Um sure. Thank you. Its nice to finally meet some nice people for once. Today just seems to have been filled with people coming after me." I said.
My name is Tyler Lycanson and this is my friend Brutus Mattson." the wolf said.
“My name is Hunter Leoner." I said
Later at Lunch
“so guys this is the new kid who keeps getting harassed by both Martins and that total Ass Matthew and I would like us to welcome him properly." Tyler said explaining why I saw down with him. At the table so far was me, Tyler, Brutus, a Male Tiger, a Female Human who looked familiar I think it was Serena from history and a male human who smelled of Wolf.
“Hunter this is Anthony." he said pointing at the Tiger. “Serena." Tyler pointed at the Female Human and her Brother who was named after the infamous Antonio. Tonio Cruz." he finished by pointing at the male human.
“Hi my name is Hunter. It nice to meet you." I said.
“Hey hot stuff wanna take a ride on the Tiger Express." The Tiger said suddenly.
I blinked a couple times. Before I coughed up the milk I was drinking. I grabbed napkins and wiped my face. Luckily none of it got on my fur or my clothes or anyone else just the table.
“Dude why are you always hitting on the hot guys." Brutus asked scandalized.
“Why Not?" Anthony said winking at me.
“Gay and Flattered as I may be I would rather look for a serious relationship rather than a wham bam thank you man." I said.
“Called it. Pay up Serena." Tonio said grinning.
“Damn how do you even guess these things all the time." Serena grumbled forking over some money.
“Just my nose never lies." he said without thinking.
“Yeah sure. You get the good sense of smell gene and I get the hearing gene." Serena said.
“So why did you seem uncomfortable during history class Hunter?" Serena asked turning to face me.
“What? I wasn't uncomfortable." I said even as I felt panic rising.
“Uh. If you say so." she said dropping it.
So I got to know Tyler Brutus Anthony, Tonio, and Serena pretty well. We decided to become friends. My First day in Futuristic High School had some Highs and Lows. But I think the day turned out pretty okay.
That is until the end of the day. I saw Tonio acting in a suspicious manner and had ditched Serena even though they usually stay close together. I quietly and stealthily followed him. Until they reached the forest. Without thinking I climbed up a tree and jumped from branch to Branch to follow him. I guess I got some feline grace compare to my old clumsy Human Self. I observed him stop at a clearing. He met up with One human and a Wolf that looked familiar. The shocking part was they were werewolves as they suddenly became wolves. Now I know why he smelled more like a wolf than a human.
“Were you Followed Lycannon." the biggest of the Three asked Tonio.
“Not to my knowledge." Tonio said.
“Good now get on your knees and worship my cock." the Second guy growled lustily.
“Come on please don't make me do this again." Tonio Whimpered.
“I am not going to ask again." the second wolf snarled.
Son of a Bitch. What did I just stumble onto. Without think I jumped from the tree and landed in the middle of them. Without thinking and acting on instinct I kicked the Beta in the balls causing him to howl and drop to his knees. While the Alpha gave a me a bite on my arm. Which I didn't feel and he looked shocked.
“Sorry was that supposed to hurt?" I growled before I made a gesture I had never made before in my life with my hands and caused my wound to close and reappear onto the Alpha's Arm.
“Now would like to continue or shall we end this nonsense with the agreement you never come after Tonio here ever again." I snarled in his face causing him to shrink in stature.
“I knew you were an Outsider and this just proves it I will get you back for this mark my…..." I cut him off realizing this was that asshole Matthew
“Your Words." I finished for him. “Please Ghosts are more threatening than you. Oh and for the record I still have no fucking idea what this Outsider thing you're going on about is. So get lost Pup." I snarled he dragged his friend away and they ran.
I turned around to find Tonio back in human form hyperventilating curled into a ball.
“Hey Tonio, take deep breaths come do it with me. IN and Out. In and out. That's the way keep doing it. Good." I said. “Now are you okay." I asked.
“How… Why." he asked brokenly.
“I am good at reading people and something told me you needed help and it looks like I was right. I won't let them hurt you ever again. You hear me. We also have to tell the other's so they can help you as well." I said in a calm manner.
“B-But my sister will k-know." he whimpered.
“So sometimes that actually helps." I said “How long have they been doing this." I asked. “a Year now ever since l-last s-school y-year." he said and then He started bawling his eyes out and I gave him a hug. He held onto me as if the world was ending.
“Tonio!" Serena yelled from nearby.
“OVER HERE!" I shouted.
I pet him on the back as he kept crying.
“What happened?" Serena Exclaimed.
“Matthews and his friend are both Werewolves. According to Tonio he forcibly turned him last year and then proceeded to rape him on multiple occasions. I followed him out here after I felt something was off. Only to find them trying to force him into again. I stopped them. I don't know what exactly I did. But Matthew's got a bite on my arm. Without thinking I made a weird gesture with my hand and my wound vanished as if it had never been there and was instead upon Matthew's Arm." I explained. “I don't know but I say we get Tonio home and maybe make him some hot chocolate." I said. Picking up Tonio in my arms I carried him. “Do you have a car or something" I asked. “Yeah Tonio usually drives me to and from school in his truck. I have his keys and bag right here." she said. “Okay lead me to it." I replied. On the way to the Parking lot Tonio fell asleep in my arms snuggling as close to me as he could.
In the parking lot I saw Leo waiting for me. Once he saw what I was holding. He gave me a nod. I nodded back.
“Where do you guys live?" I asked. “Modern Oaks Condominiums 1203 M Apartment 46 on Grafton Street." she replied. “Well I live right next door with Leo at number 47. he's here to pick me up so why don't we just go with him." I said.
“Sure Mr. Leo has always been kind and helpful before." she said looking awed at me. I walked over to Leo's car and upon trying to put Tonio on the seat by himself. He started crying his eyes out after waking up from me putting him on the seat and scrambled back into my arms. I sighed and instead put myself in the backseat and to Serena to sit up front.
Poor Tonio just snuggled right back into me. I had a feeling he was in instinct mode and because I just saved him he was sticking to me with all he had. Upon arriving at home. We headed into Leo's apartment. Tonio was clinging to me with all he had.
I then vowed to help anyone i could. this starting with Tonio.
