Mansion Part 2

A Commission for Leumas Arsov based on his character, a normally blind human named Kai paired up with a very powerful anthropomorphic giratina named Gale, that is a continuation of a Commission he had done prior by WriterOfSmut.

Kai gasped a little as he stirred, it having been a long long night. Already his senses were changed a little, he could feel so much more, hear so much, see so much more as he opened his eyes just to move the muscles.

The second he did however, everything he knew was wrong. He could see and jolted up looking around, hands quickly to his eyes, only to give a yelp of pain as he tapped his eye just to see if this was real and sure enough, it was real, his sight had returned.

"This... what... this is not right..." He stated, only for the memories of last night to come flooding back. The "tournament" or rather set-up, the attempt at escape, Linn, and worse of all, all the unnerving pokemon, lead by the two clearly much stronger and far more dark and wrong pokemon.

He quickly set about looking himself over, getting up and moving to a mirror, trying to see if it was still really him, and aside from a complete lack of any kind of scar or other physical damage, he was sure that this was infact his body still. He just grumbled and growled heavily, only to realize that he was cracking the wood of the vanity, the mirror suddenly breaking hard from his grip before he turned, looking at his hands, and then turning back.

He quickly moved and took a meditative sitting stance, he would need his head cleared if he was going to think things through. Before he could truly start to relax and correct himself though, a voice entered his mind.

"Let's us be careful now." The voice stated, Kai quickly looking around and trying to find the source, hoping that the garitina was near by and actually watching, not just toying with him. Unfortunately she was not present in the room, her voice just in his head. "You have much new found strength. You should be aware of yourself more now, but it will take time to manage your new abilities." Gale continued, the door opening after a few, Gale there and smiling some as she looked over to him, a small platter in her hands, a home cooked breakfast there in her hands.

"I do not intend you harm. I assure you." She said moving over, a table appearing in the room that she set the platter on, the mirror and vanity repairing itself as she smiled, barely dressed, an apron covering her chest still, but what what Kai could see, only a set of panties present around her hips, Kai quickly turning a bit in disgust, more from what she had done without his consent far more then from her looks however.

"You will come to understand that for one who is longer under the influence of time, who has seen so much, that even we can get lonely." She said, her voice very gentle for now as she sat on the side of the bed. "I... require a special type of man to share my company like this. Someone who is powerful in their own rights physically, but also different, interesting."

"You enslave me, rape me, and then expect me to share a lifetime with you?" Kai growled, still trying to maintain his meditative stance.

"I expect you to learn about me, to come to understand me and my choice, while you explore life anew again. I am different and I do not share the same views as many mortals. Image if you will that where you were a man and understood how animals of small understandings, who could not think of themselves as individuals and a community like men. Now, apply this same level of thinking as though men and mortals were the ones below you. Do not think first of how a human's life compares to the life of a deer or an ant, but instead think of what kind of world is above that, what kind of creatures are so much larger on the scales of life, with powers beyond mortal understanding, with minds and an understanding not of one world, but many." She explained.

Kai just listened for now, not that he had much choice before thinking on her words some. "I am not mortal, not as you understand it, but there are things, base desires that are shared even among those of different classes of life that remain the same. The desire for personal life, for amusement, to make something of themselves, whether large and to the community, or just to themselves... the desire for companionship even is something that I have, that we share. It has been far too long for me since I have held this need, and now I ask of you to help me fill that empty place within my home."

Kai didn't even need to think on his words, keeping his back fully turned to her. "I refuse." He stated firmly, while trying not to fill his words with hate, if mostly to avoid her wraith right now, it was clear that his words held a sting.

She just smiled a bit. "You will come to accept, I will know you will. We are just from different understandings, something I will help teach you. I am sorry for the treatment that was given to you at first, but you will find that I have come to care little for mortals as a whole. People are... aggressive, arrogant, needy, full of hatred, and often worthless. A person is full of life, pleasant, proper. A person I respect, I can come to love, to want to be with, but having lived as long as I have, I cannot bring myself to want to be with people, they are nothing but pawns." She said. "These words may mean little to you now, but these views have come to become truth for me, and many will not understand them until they see the depths of depravity a people have. You may have seen war, but when you have seen wars for so many wrong reasons, and the welcoming rallying cry behind them, then you lose a piece of yourself or so they say." She said, uncaring if he understood her words but knew that he was listening.

"Now that you are like me however, no longer mortal as you understand the word, I should explain what all it is fully that I have given you. While I am not fully sure what we are now, I can tell you that we are not mortal. Many who see us now will likely come to see us as monsters, but people just fear what they do not understand." She explained. "What we do have is great strength, and our natural abilities are just as greatly enhanced, far more so then you would think once you take the time to explore them. You will find that you will be hungry for more often, and may come to have strange tastes, but I will never force you to take or do anything that you do not want to. I can also help you keep these changes to a minimum if you desire." She said.

"Why not just let me go and I'll forget this whole thing..." Kai stated.

"No... that is the one thing that I will not let you do." She said. "Come, eat though. I have prepared a nice meal for you. There is no meat in it, so you need not worry about where it came from, and there is nothing strange added to." She said, the top of the platter vanishing, revealing a large tray of various berries, all fresh and hand picked by Gale herself that morning, a small cup of sugar, a few slices of home baked bread with a small stick of butter, some jam, and a few slices of watermelon and apples. "These are just a few of my favorites. Simple things are sometimes the most enjoyable, something I am sure even you can understand." She smiled.

Kai just grumbled a bit more, able to clearly and clean smell them all now, far more then usual with his new and even more improved senses, his stomach quickly growling in his needy hunger.

Kai couldn't keep his composure now though, looking back to the fruit and berries, growling as he turned away again, but Gale just smiled as she moved him to her side, a clear if small gap between them, the tray of fruit and bread resting before them a little. "All that I ask is that you give me a chance. We have more time then you may understand now, but I hope that you will come to see me as a lover." She said, taking a raspberry and dabbing it in the sugar before slowly eating, nodding lightly to Kai that he could eat as well.

He just grumbled a bit before giving in due to hunger and strictly sticking to the fruit, knowing that it was fruitless for him to fight it right now, at least until he knew just how powerful he really was. For now though, the fruit was wonderful and the freshest he had ever tasted it, even the sugar pure and just as fine. He hated to admit it, but the food was perfect for what it was as still tried to not look to Gale.

"I swear to you that I have not lied to you." She said, scooting a little closer and leaning gently on him, a simple arm around his waist, her touch gentle and a bit needy, but slow. "I really do just want companionship with someone special." She said, her voice showing a strange hint of need and sorrow.

As much as Kai hated to admit it, for as 'dark' and 'vile' as she felt, her voice spoke the truth, and there was no lie of any kind in her voice, in her words or want. He just grumbled a bit more and turned away from her a bit more, still eating slowly as she leaned on him a bit, such a gentle creature now as she took a chance to relax.

"This does name make us friends." He growled a bit, not really pushing her off, but also not wanting to accept it. "I will escape and I will make you pay for this." He stated firmly, only to feel her lean on a little more, taking her time like he was with the breakfast tray.

"Perhaps in time... I will let you." She said softly, just enjoying his company for now, a warm shoulder to lean one and try to show that she was not as evil he believed.

Once more, her words spoke truth, something that instead of giving Kai hope however, filled him with dread in the manner in which she spoke.

A few hours had passed since breakfast, Gale letting him wonder the mansion now, looking over the place, taking it slow with his new senses, the addition of sight so weird and confusing to him after so long without it. He could still feel everything, but to see it as well was just wrong. He could hear the foot steps of others, and even feel if they were closer then they sounded through the vibrations of the floor. He could feel where the air was flowing from, where it was still, where it changed showing an opening in the wall, a door or a draft, even a window. He could still feel the warmth of heated air on his skin, from some fire or artificial source of heat, or if it was sunlight.

Now though, as he walked, it was just wrong, he was constantly forced to second guess himself. Although his body reacted and was trained for such things so easily and he could move and walk fine, twice already since he just walked down the hall, he had forcibly stopped, just from seeing a door open, it "looking" so much closer then it was. And worse, once, he had just kept on moving even after seeing a curtain being pulled down, only to cover him. He had seen it come and did not react strictly because he did not hear it, the gardevoir maid who was working the room and preparing to swap decor for the seasons having not seen him. The fact remained however that he had seen it happen, and did nothing because he did not hear or feel it due to the gardevoir's abilities.

The gardevoir was quick to apologize, but Kai was far too concerned with how he should have been able to move aside, to avoid it, and his decades of hardened senses and training actually stopped him because he couldn't think with his eyes yet.

He just grumbled a bit, quickly moving on, trying not to hurt the questionably innocent maid as she went back to her chores, Kai just trying to stay out of the way, debating on getting a blindfold and returning to a blind world, perhaps even using other means to remove his sight and return to the world he had lived in, but there was much to be said for having eyes and seeing things.

He could learn to read properly, actual written words of any language instead of using his fingers, he could learn to make to take the first strike in battle without waiting on a foe to get in close enough to feel them, he could even learn to scan a room and find ways to barricade himself in cover as needed. All things that could help him escape, and the sooner the better.

The debate of whether to keep his new curse of sight, or return to a world where he only felt things was a harsh one however, and caused him great distraction as he tried to hone his senses to adopt to his eyes, only hearing something screaming out from below the mansion, everyone around him looking down.

He knew the scream, it belonged to Camille. But was it one of anger, or one of just over exhaustion. It sounded almost entirely primal, and that made it hard to tell what it was about. All he knew however, was that Camille was not someone he would want to face again right now. He had no idea if Lee made it out, but judging from how everyone seemed to back up from the scream, looking around a little worried, that she probably did not have the man she desired so much.

Still, he had to know, and a question would be all it took to learn many things. He 'belonged' to Gale now, but what kind of benefits did that grant him. Gale had told him that her minions would never touch him without her direct permission again, and if any of them did, he would not have the power to fight them off easily if he concentrated on the powers he had. Additionally, she mentioned that they would have to obey him to a degree. Would that include giving him honest answers.

He turned and found a lopunny carrying a load of spare sheets in a basket headed towards him down the hall, able to see her before he felt her, the lopunny clearly very light on her feet. "What happened to Lee and the others?" He asked directly, the lopunny looking to him.

"They were used to fuel the ritual and our hungers." The lopunny stated, Kai just looking into her eyes, seeing the full bloody red like aura within them, she was truly as much a demon and dark as everything else in this foul place.

"And Lee?" He growled a bit.

"I am unsure. I think he managed to escape, a shame really." She stated, leaving Kai to be thankfully that at least somebody got out. He was sure that Lee would go into hiding for a while, but also and hopefully, send word of the mansion to those who could handle the place, if not at least stop others from coming here to share a similar or even worse fate.

His anger both renewed and lessened a bit, he turned to find a place where he could be alone. He quickly started to look around, searching for any signs of a room that was not getting cleaned and refreshed for the coming autumn season leaving him searching for a long time. The more pokemon he passed, the thier bloody aura like eyes shined to him, making him more and more weary of everything.

As he moved, learning the mansion and making notes of things however, he eventually found a hallway that lead far away from the direct mansion proper, still decorated but less so and differently then before. Where the mansion proper all had a singular theme to it, Victorian era decor perhaps if he knew his history well, always having a fascination with it, it looked like this hallway was slowly giving way to modern era decor, things that actually used a bit power or were clearly machined in some manor, not looking slow and hand crafted.

The hallway eventually lead to a large open room, the room vacated right now, but having many modern things, a few TVs in one corner, a radio and large bookshelf full of various books of all kinds in another. There was even a small bar, if entirely free of any kind of smell of liquor... or any smell at all for that matter in the third corner of the room, the last corner just an open space with lots of seating and a couch, some kind of relaxation room perhaps, clearly not for Gale and Camille, but for the servants maybe. On either side of the room as well were a few large doors that lead to a garden on one side and a sort of pool or something on the other side, leaving Kai to wonder heavily what he had walked into now.

Still, some sounds caught his ears, coughing a bit, and then a gentle voice trying to relax whoever had coughed. With there being such silence, he could finally feel his new senses at work as he focused, able to tell that the sounds were very far off, down the opposing hall on the other end of the room.

Kai was slow to approach the source of the sounds he heard down the hallway, but followed them none the less. This new hall was far less decorated as well, but it still held a few paintings here and there, although of landscapes now, until at last he came to a large set of double doors, hearing the coughing from the other side, looking over and seeing a large glass sign that read medical. It took him a few to string the english letters together in his head, he had memorized the general shape of letters with some practice after all, but so rarely used that knowledge that it did some times take him a few to make sure he got words right when they were not written in braille.

Once he figured it out though, he looked back at the door, and could see some kind of magical film over the door now, no doubt part of his other new senses as he looked it over, seeing that the film was suppose to block both noise and filth, keeping the hallway from causing any problems with people inside. He was very sure that the only reason he could even hear what was past it was due to his enhanced senses regardless.

Still, he was curious and opened up the door, walking in slowly and looking around. Inside were the same pokemon servants as before, but only a small number held the blood red demonic eyes, none of them paying attention to him at all though. The room was huge, a full if not quite modern hospital ward, but with what he could only describe as a magical feel around it. While there were some comparisons to what he knew as modern medicine as best he could tell, there were still things that looked as though they were from other times entirely. Instead large gurneys, there were just thick cloth cots and small stools, a large counter on the far end to patch up small injuries where the cots held the injured. There were many cabinets full of various liquids as well, seeing more magic covering them to keep them safe and fresh as he looked around.

There were some 20 other people in the room as well, most human, but still some pokemon, all calm and gentle in comparison to the night before, the few nurses caring properly and gently for the people there. They were all working slowly, and very clearly with a great interest in the care and proper health of those in the cots, even a child in the back on one cot, a nurse happily reading to the girl, the nurse however holding the same demonic eyes and the other servants, Kai able to feel the same "vile" thing about her it not as strongly as in Gale, but here she was caring for the child in a motherly manner.

Kai had great trouble believing that he was seeing, but moved slowly back out into the hall. He looked further down the hall, walking along and finding another smaller mansion like building. At its center was a large garden and small pond, but it was a little taller then the mansion proper. As he walked along, he took a peak into some of the open doors, a few large rooms divided up into smaller bed spaces, each one decorated in a personal manner from the resident, a few of the doors however leading to a family living space for close groups of friends or even family of the servants that Gale had to her name.

As he walked along, he couldn't help but feel weird and uncertain of anything now. Having walked through the place, even though it was bare, the entire mansion proper clearly keeping all the people busy and away from this spot, it was clear that this was where they all lived and by the looks of the rooms, very comfortably and happily. As he reached the far end of the place though, he could hear noises again, this time like someone was explaining something of history.

Curious once more, he followed the sounds to find the source, eventually coming to another set of large double doors, and the words this time for it read schoolhouse. Like before, he couldn't believe that such a thing was needed there, or that it could be real, but he walked over and looked around the corner, and sure enough there were a few dozen children there in the room, split up into smaller groups by age, a few people teaching them about history, the room fully furnished with plenty of books, materials, and room to help the children learn.

Nothing but utter confusion filled Kai now as he watched, unable to understand at all how someone like Gale would have a place like this here, staying only long enough to make sure it was real, before quickly heading back to the mansion proper now.

He was in a hurried rush now to find Gale once more, demanding answers. As he moved though, he very forcibly demanded a few answers from everyone he met on the way about the "other mansion" he had seen. The only answers he got though were often such things as them attempting to correct him about there being no other mansion, just the servants quarters, such things like it not as fancy as Gale's private rooms, but it was a wonderful place to rest and spent time when not working, and a few questioning looks about if he was in their room when they were said that thier rooms were not to be explored without early warning.

He even questioned a few about the children, getting more varied but quick responses in his rush, some saying that families were always welcomed by those employed here, others mentioning that while they disliked the children, they were always well cared for and protected, and one even mentioned that her own daughter was sick, and hoped that if he was asking, that it was to pass a message that said that she was recovering since she was promised frequent updates on the daughter's condition.

With a few answers from the servants with him now though, he quickly made his way back to Gale's room, uncaring at all about the consequences, just about breaking the doors to the master bedroom off the hinges with a new found strength, no doubt part of whatever else was wrong with him. It was enough however to wake up Gale in confusion from her future mate.

"Is something wrong?" She asked, the door fixing itself slowly as she sat up, covering her chest with a blanket.

"You owe me answers, and now!" He stated, almost in a threatening manner. "I will not be tricked into thinking your some savior when I can feel that you are some vile creature. You just spent the nights prior setting up a tournament to capture me, and whoever else caught your fancy, then killed the losers, none of whom would have come at all for the pitiful 100,000 dollars you offered it they knew they would die. You knowingly raped and enslaved me, and now expect me to believe anything you say, going so far as to make me try to believe that you actually for anything!" He snapped barely able to control his anger.

"Sick people and a young sickly child being cared for properly, personal living spaces and bedrooms, a school, happy families... from those things that you call servants who tore apart, raped, and killed dozens of skilled fighters who were trained for the art of combat... but ultimately just torn apart by hand without much restraint in nothing more then a giant frenzy!" He snapped.

"What... is Loanna alright? Has her conditioned worsened? I was to be informed immediately if anything happened to the little." She stated, throwing her blanket down to get dressed, a simple set of clothing appearing over her before she vanished leaving Kai simmering with anger.

Gale returned shortly though, giving a small sigh of releif as she sat back on the edge of the bed. "Poor little dear... she has it rough. That's twice now she has come down with some kind of plague. I dare not let her go out and explore with her mother even with the best of our wards, a plague like that could kill thousands. Sadly, she is just a carrier. It doesn't outright kill her even if she still sadly suffers most of the symptoms." She sighed. "I can keep her healthy, and all of my servants are just about immune to sickness, but it is not fair to keep her locked up in that small room. It must be so hard on Loanna, and her mother too, to see her like that."

"You honestly expect me to believe you give the girl proper care? That you even know her name!" Kai roared a bit.

"Why would I not know her name? I make it a personal effort to know the name of everyone who is here to live. We all eat well, we all are cared for, and even they are pampered a little with their pay. I don't enslave persons, I hire them, even if my recruitment of a servant is very unique." Gale said. "I do believe that my words to you this morning were clear. PEOPLE... I care little for." She stated, really really stressing the word "people" to make a very clear point.

"But A PERSON can be pleasant, full of life, gentle, worth getting to know." She continued, like before stressing the words "a person" now though to continue her point.

"I know every person here, by name, and some of their history, if not all of it. I would not risk sharing my gifts with just anyone after all. I would know the person I would have serve me and maintain my property, no matter what I take it and choose to live. I have many persons, human and pokemon from all over the world, at my beck and call to keep my mansion clean, to help me with my life. And not one of them are unknown to me." She finished.

"And you honestly expect me to believe what I see now with eyes that are not even my own, after what I felt and actually know to trust last night, after being forced to compete when I tried to walk away, twice even, and then was forcibly captured, tried to get my freedom again, and then was personally a witness to what cannot be called anything less then rampaging demons, before you personally raped me and then changed the very being of my life!" Kai roared out, Gale only giving a small sigh, but understanding.

"Allow me to show you a world above your own." She said, getting up and placing her hands over his eyes, the world going dark with her hands, only to see the world as a whole as though he were in space, before it shifted and went crazy for lack of a better word, falling to pieces and becoming disoriented showing only a collection of higher creatures, true demons and gods cloaked in shadow and masked by bright lights obscuring their true forms.

Gale's voice then slowly rose up from everywhere. "Humans and some pokemon are able to think for themselves. They think, they feel, they form bonds and join in common goals. While a few humans are slower then the rest and need constant assistance always being a mere child why they are cursed or blessed with such little understanding, most humans and even fewer pokemon think beyond that." Gale's voice explained.

"Most humans and these thinking pokemon then go to form villages, to learn, to think, to act as individuals, but most importantly to question. And for most, its really only one question, who am I. Whether they admit it or not, they are always asking it, and it leads their life. For those confident in their answers, or perhaps thinking themselves greater then they are, they go on to lead and people follow and then evolve again into a new community of smaller communities. They stop being a person then, and then most can only function as a people. These people then take on new lives and roles, and then become so set in their ways, they forget and sometimes try to forcibly change how the world works. They become so caught up in their life as a people, their need to be greater still that they become blind. And in their blindness, they wage war, they destroy the world, they never stop to truly think that anything higher then can exist and if they do, then they think that they are entitled to served by them, they these higher powers owe the people a place at their side." She continued.

Slowly, the blurred and hidden figures began to come into focus, but only barely, Kai still unable to make them out, aside from one among them, Gale herself, but only as a smaller figure, below many of the others present. "So few actually think of what is properly above them, of what the real picture is, of how there world barely knows that a person is there of how people do so little good. But there are things higher, things who think of the world and its many shapes as whole and then some. Some praise us, some scorn us, some don't care, and some want to replace us. But most, most think that we are just as much a property, a possession to be passed around, who have to give them anything they want or need, who believe that we nurture them because we have to." Gale just sighed a little.

"I make no claims to be among the best, I am merely another piece of the world, still trying to understand myself. But the facts that I know above them is that those of higher meaning, of higher place care as much for them as they would care for the animals around them. And why should we care for them as persons when they can't even take care of their world. We only do what we have to keep a balance above them in place, a balance that they constantly try to change. This is why I care so little for people. If we did not take certain actions to keep them alive, to keep them here, then they would have killed themselves long ago, and taken who knows what with them. They think that some afterlife of glory and peace awaits them, that the gods they worship so much will take personal care for them and then cater to the every need. I have an entire following, who think that they know me, that they are owed my rewards, but why? I once tried to teach them, and they cast me away, favoring the image that they made for them. I can't bring myself to do a thing for them with how little they actually know, how little they demand to say is truth. I am not the highest entity there is, but I know my place, as somewhere in between now. If I step on the toes of someone bigger, I trust that they will tell me and I will accept it. In the meantime though, I am content and happy enough to live as I am. I will chose myself who allow to follow me, and who I choose to help better." She said, finally bringing him back.

"There is more to the world then what you can see, to what you explain away, to what you think faith is compared to how faith actually works. There is a place above you, and I, in my own need, for my mind, my sanity, my patience and mental health, have added you to a place here at my side. I will take my time with you, perhaps a time more then your mortal life could understand or even live through, but for me, time is of little consequence."

As much as Kai would have loved to trash Gale, to try and throw her words away and deny, there was truth to them that he could feel, a basis of fact and understanding, things that were easy to understand and follow, but more more importantly, to begin to learn. Kai had always thought of things higher then himself at times, but less so what they were, but how they might interact with the world as whole, what things that they might teach people, and how they might think of the world, if they were even part of it.

Kai hated to admit, but having been given such a simple and very clearly proper if overly simple view of a world above him now, using simple words and meanings, or at least simple in comparison to a new larger world, he had to accept that Gale knew what she telling him about, of how there were higher things and a higher meaning, and of how they couldn't really care for people when they were in fact so uncaring for the world, and did need guidance.

"D-damn you!" He snapped, still with clenched fists. "But that does not give you the right to kill us all as you please!" He roared.

Gale only nodded a little at his words. "Then think of my actions this way. You humans number in the billions, far more then any other race in history. You constantly forcibly take over more land each year and wipe out other species just by refusing to let them share land with you. Would you let a herd of miltank grow to such numbers that the land dies just to preserve them? Would you let a pride of pyroar over populate to point that the only food around are each other? Would you let a pack of overly aggressive houndoom run so free that they take over an entire province and let nothing share that land to the point of having to abandon it because there is nothing left there but burnt ash?" Gale sighed some. "Humans are so foolish, so obsessed with breeding and refusing to let even a single life die, that they grow faster then the world will be able to sustain them." She sighed some. "If those of us higher just allowed you to breed so recklessly, when we know we can do something, when we are stuck maintaining the world that we must share with you... does it not fall to us to do something when you kind cannot? I do not mean to sound so overly careless, but it is a truth, and I must accept it. I have my pets the ones i care for, the persons who show interest for me, but I cannot think of a better way for you to understand this. WE are all just animals of a kind in the end." She explained.

Kai just continued to hold his anger, trying not to snarl a bit, but she was correct. Humans were over populated on the world, and did directly cause the decline of other species just because they needed more land. "That does not... " He started, only to see the truth of her words once more. "Damn you." HE growled.

"Humans cannot care for themselves as a whole. And there is something to be said for who has the right to choose who lives and who dies. But if someone does not help cull the overgrown weeds, then who will. Humans have no care for balance, and now someone must do what they cannot." Gale sighed, clearly a bit effected herself by her words, reminded of things around her that she typically did not care for. "I do mean that mean that human lives are worthless, but there must be a means of control. I don't care for people, and I do my best not to get to learn about every person.
