The knight traveled further into the greenpath after taking the vengefly to dirtmouth. he encountered formidable enemies that were skilled with nails called hedge knights, too corrupted to be reasoned with and take to dirtmouth unfortunately.

“vengefly grubs cooked in a wrapping of mushroom,” hornet said. he paused, still staring. “grub,” hornet said. he nodded. “grub,” he said in her language. the knight added a few more agreeable words of his own and took another bite.

He seemed to like vengefly grubs last time and seemed no worse for wear after having eaten them. the knight was also a little more talkative as they walked. mostly, he would speak in his own language, musing and chuckling.
