Sunny sat down in between Starflight and Bea, she saw her mother waving at her from the altar, and waved back.

“She looks excited to be the officiator.” Starflight noticed.

“Yeah, this is the first wedding somebody has asked her to officiate.” Michael told them.

Kinkajou and Lynx walked up to them and the rainwing gasped.

“Starflight, you look so pretty. Oh, look at all those sparkles.”

Starflight smiled and nodded. “You look nice too Kinkajou.”

Turtle and Winter walked into the square, and Kinkajou called them and waved. Turtle brightened when he saw her, and walked up to her. She booped him with her nose and they both blushed. Winter walked up next to Lynx and she smiled at him. He looked at Starflight with a surprised expression for a moment, before turning away.

“Hi Kinkajou.” Turtle spoke. “You look… Really nice.”

“Aw, your sweet.” Kinkajou’s face turned a little pink.

Winter twined his tail with Lynx’s, which made her beam and blush at the same time. Thorn cleared her throat and called the attention of the crowd. Kinkajou and Lynx took the right side while Turtle and Winter took the left. Then Qibli walked into the square, and Sunny gasped when she saw Cobra walking with him. They had matching suits on, which were white and gold, and covered in onyx stones. Qibli was beaming as he walked up and took his place on the left side of the altar. Cobra took a place behind Thorn while Qibli smiled over at Turtle and Winter. Michael flicked his wrist, and a set of instruments nearby came to life and started playing a light, slow, song. The crowd turned and gasped when they saw Moon walk into the square. She blushed when she realized that all eyes were on her, and tried to hide her face. She walked up on the altar, and looked at Qibli. He just sat there, stunned, and staring at her blatantly. Moon froze, waiting for his reaction. Qibli beamed so bright and so suddenly that Moon jumped a little, then lifted her head and beamed back. Thorn smiled at the two of them, and stepped forward.

“As is ancient tradition, to commemorate this marriage we have brought forward a glass sphere.” Thorn pulled out a green and yellow sphere. “These colors represent the souls of the two standing before us. Today they meet as one, do you have vows?”

Qibli nodded and turned to Moon. “Moon, my shining Moon, I vow to devote myself to you, in life, love, and soul. I vow to love you and protect you for the rest of my life.”

Moon had tears in her eyes. “Qibli, I love you with all my life and vow to be by your side forever. I vow to…”

She choked on her words, and Qibli nuzzled her slightly. “I vow… To protect you from all sadness and be there for you through anything and everything.”

Thorn nodded. “Moon, do you take Qibli, as your husband, in sickness and in health, for the rest of your life?”

“I do.” Moon beamed, blinking tears out of her eyes.

“Qibli, do you take Moon, as your wife, in sickness and in health, for the rest of your life?”

“I do.” Qibli replied.

“Then, with the power of the sandwing queen, I declare you, husband and wife.”

Qibli and Moon kissed, and the crowd burst in applause. Moon blushed and when they broke off, she hid behind Qibli. They walked down to the crowd as they congratulated them, and walked over to Sunny and Starflight.

“Hey, so glad you could be here.” Qibli told them.

“Wouldn’t miss it for the world.” Sunny replied, smiling brightly.

“How does it feel.” Starflight asked.

Moon sighed. “Like a huge weight has been lifted, it’s difficult to explain.”

Sunny nodded “You’re coming to ours, right?”

“Of course.” Moon replied. “No way we’re missing that.”

They made their way to the hall, and found their tables. Sunny was surprised when the couple sat down at the table with them instead of in front of the rest of the room.

“I would not be able to stay over there, with all those people staring at me.” Moon explained.

Sunny nodded. “That’s why we’re doing a small one.”

Plates of food were passed around, and they dug in.

“So, you two.” Michael spoke “Any plans now that you’re married?”

Moon smiled and looked over at Qibli. “Were planning a trip to Pantala, but it won’t be for a little while.”

“Honeymoon in Pantala, nice.”

“Eventually, we want to get a tour from Blue and Cricket.”

“Did he propose yet?” Starflight asked.

“Nope.” Michael answered. “But I think he will soon, I’ve been helping him with a surprise.”

“I like you dress.” Sunny told Moon.

“Thanks, I like yours too. The black roses are really pretty, and Starflight, wow, just wow.”

“Thanks.” Starflight replied.

“Michael.” Moon turned to the black dragon. “Where did you and Bea get those roses, they look so cool.”

Sunny looked at the rose on Michael’s chest and noticed it was made of purple glass, matching the rest of his trim. Bea’s was black, and matched her dress as well.

“They are made from a special type of glass from another dimension. I used that same kind of glass to make yours and Thorn’s wedding spheres.”

Moon gasped. “That’s nice of you.”

“Thought you would like it.” Michael replied. “It’s indestructible.”

Qibli smiled. “Like ou…”

Moon shushed him with her wing. “No cheese.”

“C’mon, it’s our wedding, the best day for cheesy stuff.” Qibli replied.

Moon smiled brightly, and chuckled. “Yeah alright.”

“But yeah, everybody got that metaphor.” Winter told them.

Kinkajou frowned, and Turtle whispered in her ear. Then she smiled and nodded to him.

“You tell your mother yet?” Michael turned to Turtle.

He blushed and shook his head. “She already knows, Pike told her.”

Michael nodded. “She wants me to go and repair the Summer Palace for her.”

“Are you going to?”

“Maybe, I don’t know yet.”

“She already has her doubts, so maybe you should prove her wrong.” Turtle replied.

“Yeah, probably.” Michael shrugged.

They finished their meal, and the tables were moved out of the way so the couple could have their first dance. A slow dance song started playing, and the happy couple walked out and faced each other. They swayed back and forth, and smiled at each other. Starflight leaned over and nudged her.

“What song you want?”

“What?”

“What song do you want Michael to play when we have our first dance here?”

“I don’t know, whatever you like.” She smiled.

“I have a tougher question.”

“Shoot.”

“Who’s your maid of honor? Glory, Or Tsunami?”

Sunny froze, and looked over at Tsunami. “I… Uhm”

Starflight chuckled. “I got my choice; Clay. But I don’t know who else to pick”

“Maybe Riptide? Or Deathbringer?”

“I’m thinking Riptide, I know him better.”

“Makes sense.” Sunny replied.

The song ended, and the couple’s dance begun. Sunny grabbed Starflight and they started swaying together.

“My mom keeps asking my random stuff about the afterparty.” Sunny told him.

“Cake? Music? What you want?” Starflight replied.

“Exactly.” Sunny laughed.

“She’s been doing that to me too, I just told her to ask you everything.”

Sunny gasped in mock horror. “How dare you!”

Starflight nuzzled her slightly. “Being blind made me care less about how things look, and more about the thing itself. I couldn’t care less what it looked like as long as I’m your husband by the end of the day.”

Sunny smirked. “We’ll, I care about what you think, and I want to make you happy, so I’m going to make sure she includes you in everything.”

“No, you won’t.” Starflight replied, calling her bluff.

They turned and watched as Secretkeeper walked over to Cobra, and they talked for a moment. Eventually, Michael joined them, said something, and walked away. The two mothers walked up to their children, Peacekeeper grabbed Moon and led her away. Cobra and Qibli sat there and talked for a moment.

“How is she out of prison?” Sunny asked.

That was my idea, Cobra has no idea how to raise children because of Vulture. But I would hope that she would want to try to connect with her successful son.

Cobra stepped forward and nuzzled her son. He jumped a little, surprised by this action. He looked over at Thorn, who smiled and nodded. Then he hugged her to him, face full of emotion.

I told her that if she hurt him in any way, she’ll wish she jumped into a volcano. But she is free to go otherwise. She chose to stay, so that says something.

“Look at that, all is well.” Starflight replied.

Until a titan rises and tries to kill you all.

“We still need to talk about that, since one rose recently.” Starflight told him.

He turned to Sunny, and smiled.

“But we can wait and have fun for now.”

She nodded, and they went back to dancing. After a few hours, the party ended, and everybody left. This time, Starflight drank way too much to continue functioning, and was half asleep on the floor in a corner. Sunny tried to get him up, but he wasn’t moving.

“Sunny Sunny Sunny. Pretty Sunny.” He mumbled.

“Gods, your drunk.” She breathed.

Tsunami laughed when she saw him. “You really have an affect on him, he would never drink before.”

“Guess I brought him out of his shell.” Sunny replied.

Michael walked up, and lifted an eyebrow. “How much?”

“This much.” Starflight replied, spreading his wings.

Tsunami, Riptide, and Sunny were dazzled for a moment, before they shook themselves out of their revere.

“Too much.” Michael spoke.

He flicked his claws, and Starflight was slowly lifted into the air. They started to walk towards the guest rooms, and Sunny, Riptide, and Tsunami followed behind the floating Starflight.

“Hey pretty.” He mumbled to Sunny.

Sunny blushed. “Hey, I’m here.”

“Being drunk makes you tell the truth, anything you want to ask?” Riptide asked her.

Tsunami jumped forward. “Hey Starflight, why did you choose to stay at the school? You could have moved to the nightwing kingdom, why did you stay?”

“Sunny.” He mumbled. “Cause she was there.”

Tsunami frowned. “Wait, that’s it?”

Sunny gave her a look. “Don’t take advantage of him.”

She backed up. “What? Don’t tell me you don’t have anything you don’t want to ask.”

Michael shot her a look, but said nothing.

“Well, there is one thing.” Sunny admitted. “But I don’t want to take advantage of him.”

“C’mon it’s fun. I mess with Riptide whenever he gets drunk.” She tapped him with her tail.

Riptide rolled his eyes.

Sunny turned. “Starflight, would you be mad at me if I asked you a question?”

“I could never be mad at you.” Starflight told her, then flicked his eyes to Tsunami and frowned. “You however.”

“What did I do?” Tsunami replied, shocked.

Starflight squinted at her, she scoffed and walked away with Riptide. Now it was just Sunny, Starflight, and Michael walking down an empty hall.

“Do you really want to stay and live at the academy?” Sunny asked. “Tell me the truth.”

“Not really; I do because you want to, but I really just want to grab you and go find a nice quiet place to spend the rest of our lives without a problem.”

Michael sighed. “Which is normal for your situation.”

Sunny nuzzled Starflight, and he giggled at her.

“Pretty lady.”

They finally reached their room, and Michael ungracefully tossed him on the bed, then turned and walked away. Sunny curled up next to him and giggled when he licked her snout.

“You’re going to hate that hangover.” She told him.

Starflight nuzzled her. “At least I made you happy.”

Sunny kissed him. “You always make me happy.”

He reached up and tapped her nose. “Boop.”

“Night Star.”

“Night Sun.”

Sunny woke up and noticed that Starflight had completely wrapped his wings around her. She smiled to herself and looked up at his sleeping face. He looked much happier now, without the bandage and with her. She buried her face in his neck and closed her eyes again. She groaned when she felt her head pang, and felt like she was spinning. After a few hours of headache and a messed-up stomach, Starflight woke up and groaned. He was about to move when Sunny grabbed his wing and held it over her face.

“It’s too bright.” She murmured

He buried his face under his wing. “Ugh, I think I drank way too much.”

“You were messed up.” Sunny smiled.

“Did Michael carry me here?”

“Using magic, I think.”

Starflight nuzzled her slightly.

“Did you and Tsunami ask me why I stay at the academy?” Starflight asked.

“Yeah.” Sunny replied. “It was her idea.”

Starflight chuckled. “I’m not mad, in case you were wondering.”

“I thought you might be a little.” Sunny admitted.

“Can’t be mad at you.” Starflight replied. “My heart just melts at the sight of you.”

Sunny blushed, then remembered something. “What did Tsunami do?”

Starflight froze. “She knows what she did.”

“What is it?”

Starflight’s eyes went out of focus for a minute, then he shook his head and turned back. “She knows what she did.”

Sunny laughed. “Is it that bad?”

Starflight just turned and kissed her. “Don’t worry about it.”

After a few more moments, the two decided to take a try at standing up.

“What do you say we relax next to the pools today?” Starflight asked.

“I like that idea.” Sunny smiled.

They shakily walked into the dining hall. Moon and Qibli looked just as tired as they did, but they smiled at them when they sat down.

“How you guys feeling?” Moon asked.

“Like somebody is squeezing my brain.” Sunny groaned.

Qibli chuckled. “Winter and Lynx are hiding out in the cool basement, they told me that they were too hungover to deal with the heat.”

“Where are the others?” Starflight asked.

“Turtle is out in the pool, of course, and I assume Kinkajou is with him.” Moon told him. “No clue where Tsunami and Riptide are, nor Michael, Bea, and Trice.”

“What are you guys going to do today?” Sunny replied.

“I don’t know, we didn’t plan anything.” Moon looked over at Qibli, who shrugged.

“We were going to go hang out by the pools.” Sunny told them. “You can come with us.”

Moon nodded. “Sure, why not.”

They finished their meal and made their way out to the many pools in the city. They found Turtle floating along in the middle of a random pool, and Kinkajou lying on her belly with her wings spread, fast asleep. Sunny laughed when Starflight unceremoniously leapt into the pool. Qibli laughed too, but was met with a large splash from Starflight. Moon then snuck up behind her husband, and launched him into the pool. Sunny laughed at the boys and settled beside the sleeping rainwing. Moon sat down beside her, and spread her wings in the sun.

“Even though this is supposed to be my tribe, I don’t really like the heat that much. I mean, occasionally when it’s cold I like it, but most of the time I think it’s a bit… Much” Sunny told Moon.

“I understand, kind of.” Moon replied. “It is very stuffy here.”

“The heat is oppressing.” Sunny replied.

Starflight splashed Qibli, making him yelp and splash back.

“I heard Michael is planning an academy field trip to the Summer Palace.” Moon told Sunny.

“I guess he decided to repair it after all.”

“Then he wants to go to Pantala” Moon added.

Sunny smiled. “That one I’m excited about.”

Moon smirked. “Michael being in charge of the students while we honeymoon off elsewhere.”

“Yeah, that should be fun.”

“Blue and Cricket want to show us around the Cicada hive.”

“Yeah, we were going to check out Jewel hive.” Sunny replied. “See all the sights and stuff.”

“Then go to the Dragontail Peninsula, so we can see what Sundew did.”

“Yeah, I had the same idea there.” Sunny admitted.

“You guys talking about Pantala?” Kinkajou asked.

“Yeah, were going to honeymoon there while Michael runs a field trip. We don’t know when exactly that will be, but it should be fun.” Sunny answered

Kinkajou nodded, then the three dragons turned when they noticed a group of icewings landing in the square.
