Kaida was spoon feeding Rocco thick cake batter. She’d made an excess of it, six cakes were already in the oven baking away. He had a messy layer of food around his face and the cake batter was getting all over his bare chest, deep in his fur. Kaida raised the bowl to his face and poured it directly into his mouth, he glugged it down with glee. Kaida loved watching him eat, he took everything she threw at him. His appetite only grew. Everyday now she’d come spend time with Rocco. Sometimes she’d bring leftovers from the dining hall, other times she’d cook or bake for him. Mostly it happened whilst Krill was out. He didn’t mind, he appreciated there being someone at home to keep Rocco company.

Rocco was panting and trying to catch his breath after devouring several gallons of cake batter. He looked over longingly at the cakes rising in the oven, wishing the batter inside of him could rise too and expand his gut further. Kaida smiled at him with her cute face.

“Hey, we should weigh you before the cakes are done!”

“Oh yes! It’s been ages since I last checked. I was three fifty seven back then”

Kaida ran to the bathroom to grab the scale then came back and placed them on the floor in front of the big Otter. She then grabbed his arm and helped pull him up. His belly swished side to side, full of batter before settling to hang low. He stepped onto the scale and Kaida let go of his hand. The number zoomed up and flashed a few times before settling on four hundred twelve. Rocco tried to edge his neck so he could see, but his belly was in the way. Kaida bent down and looked for herself, her feathered ass sticking up in the air a bit for Rocco to see.

“Oh my gosh! 412lb!! That’s incredible! 62lb gained. I’m so proud of you!” She leaped up and gave the tubby otter a big squeeze, wrapping her wings around him. He gulped at the pressure added to his already full stomach, he held back being sick and hugged her back.

“Can’t believe I'm almost twice as big as when I first started packing the pounds on!” Rocco was both shocked and enthralled.

“I bet we’ll get you over 500lb by the end of the year” she rubbed his belly and kissed him before going to check on the cakes.

Rocco sat back down and admired his body. His belly rested on his legs, covering his cock up entirely. He picked his gut up and dropped it, it gave a satisfying clap against his equally thick thighs. He felt his face, big chubby cheeks and multiple chins. He fondled his man titties, which had grown supple and wobbly, contrast to Kaida’s perky breasts.

Kaida was busy decorating the cakes. She usually spent plenty of time making her bakes look good, but she was eager to get them shoved in Rocco’s face, so she was working quickly and messy. She brought the cakes over to Rocco, who looked at them greedily before grabbing them and shoving them into his throat. Kaida sat next to him, rubbing his enlarged gut as he gorged on slice after slice. Eventually he finished all size and laid down on the sofa, his breathing laboured against the mount of fat pushing against his chest. He felt like he was about to burst, just like he loved it. A part of Kaida wanted to continue feeding him, she never wanted to stop seeing him get more swollen, but she knew if she pushed further all their hard work would come rushing back up as vomit. Instead she played with him, gently rubbing his belly whilst nuzzling her beak into his neck fat.

“How big do you think I’m gonna end up?”

“Definitely over a thousand pounds with your appetite!! Maybe two even!”

“Damn! I’d end up wider than the house!”

“We’ll have to get you in a warehouse, plenty of room on this planet” she giggled.

“I just wish my capacity was higher. I feel like I'm gonna explode right now!”

“To be fair you’ve been doing really well since when we first started doing this. Definitely think you’ve doubled your calorie intake compared to a few weeks back.”

“I think you’re right! I’m certainly feeling hungrier”

“You know we should start you on some gainer shakes and do funnel feeding. Such an easy way to add like another 6000 calories a day to your diet”

“Oh wow! I’ll balloon up like crazy”

Kaida patted his giant gut. “Damn we’ve made such a mess haha.” she let Rocco lick some of the chocolate out of her wing.

“Suppose we should shower before Krill comes home.”

“Alrighty. I’ll let you go first”

“Well… I kinda could do with some help” Rocco blushed.

“Oh my gosh, yes! Let's shower together!!” Kaida leaped up and practically dragged the bloated otter to the shower.

She got the water running then helped undress Rocco. He was still very independent with personal stuff, but he appreciated the assistance. Bending over to take his socks off was a task. She shoved him into the water then got undressed herself then came in. There wasn’t a great deal of room; his large belly rubbed up against her body. Rocco looked at her nude body, she was so cute. His attention was then drawn to her scars.

“Kaida…” he said with care and concern.

“It’s nothing” She tried to hide them and looked embarrassed.

“Come on, you can tell me anything”

“I just, I just. I don’t know. I don’t know, okay. Sometimes I get so frustrated or something, my head feels like it’s going to burst. And and, I do that alright. It’s not even like makes me feel better, I just have to do it” despite being sprayed with water, it was fairly obvious she was filling up with tears.

Rocco didn’t say anything but then embraced her in a big soft hug. Kaida was tense at first, but she soon relaxed into the jelly folds of the chubby otter. She leaned her face into his man boobs and rested there for a while, she closed her eyes and listened to his heartbeat. He smiled and stroked her plumage. Rocco was upset for her, he knew everyone in the settlement had suffered greatly, but Kaida seemed to hurt more than the other owls. It reminded him of when things were particularly bad for his husband Krill.

Kaida left to go home, a little later than she normally would. Neither of them wanted to leave each other. Rocco was uncomfortable with the brief loneliness before his husband came home and Kaida dreaded whatever stupid interaction with her flatmates she’d have to deal with. Rocco brewed two decaf teas, ready for himself and Krill.

Krill was on his way home, he walked from the main building in the settlement through the streets under the artificial lighting. He was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, he was brooding. The long hours were sort of getting him down. He wasn’t used to it. He missed being the house husband. Being protected and looked after by his big hubby. But he also was determined to make a difference, the anger still burned within him and he wouldn’t let evil lay. It wasn’t revenge he was after. If he had lost Rocco, then revenge would have been his one and only goal, but he had everything he wanted, the only one he ever loved was right there waiting for him to get to their lovely little home. No one else on his home planet mattered to him, none of the owls did either. But it still stung. The loss of so many souls and squandered potential. It wasn’t just his planet, or Raxam, many others had suffered similar fates over the years. All pawns in the heartless goals of Koen and the Shudan. They saw themselves as higher life than others and did not care about the suffering of those who happened to be in their way.

Krill had a lot to think about, so the thoughts of whatever Rocco and Kaida had been getting up to these last few weeks hadn’t occurred to him all that often. He was enjoying the outcome though, his ever expanding hubby. Kaida was putting the work in and Krill was getting to enjoy the benefits of a heftier fatter Rocco. Krill had always enjoyed Rocco being bigger than him, but it hadn’t been until he really started getting massive that Krill realised how much he enjoyed big handsome men. He adored playing with Rocco’s big belly and exploring all his folds. Just hugging him was fantastic and the sex was epic too. He legit could just fuck his naval and it felt incredible. His concerns were fading, he was starting to understand Kaida’s fascination with weight gain. He was eager to see how big his husband could get. He’d even grabbed a box of cookies from the corner shop before going home, a little treat for his big man.

As he entered the house he was welcomed by Rocco “Hey honey! Welcome home. How was your day?”

“Hey Rocky. It was alright. Sova and her cronies have backpedalled on stopping the relief efforts. Since we’ve got some new intel that suggests Koen has just been handed emergency powers and has indefinitely postponed next week's election in the galactic parliament.”

“That certainly sounds like him!”

“I should choke him” Krill said through his teeth.

“I kinda miss when he used to choke me” Rocco grinned.

“Gross”

“Oh come on, you can choke me if you want”

“I’d rather not hurt you”

“It totally doesn’t hurt. I like it.”

“Maybe in bed later… I need to chill for a bit. Oh fantastic, tea. Thanks for making me one!” He sat next to Rocco, snuggling up to him.

Rocco cuddled his husband and watched him as he drank his tea. He looked at the cut on Krills face where he’d scratch it when anxious.

“You know your tic…”

“What about it?”

“Why don’t you do it anymore?”

“I do. Just not as much. I dunno, it was difficult to stop doing it as much as I used to. But I always put it down to being with you”

“Aww.”

“Why you asking?” Krill didn’t like talking about it, it brought back too many bad memories and even thinking about it built the urge to do it. His fingers hovered over his face before he stopped himself and sat on his hand.

“Well, when Kaida was here earlier I noticed something”

“Oh?”

“Well, you know how she’s always wearing jumpers?”

“Yeah?”

“She took it off today and one of her wings is completely covered in scars”

“Oh fuck.” he sat upright and looked over at Rocco.

“I was just thinking… if you knew anything to help her?”

“Well that sounds different to mine. Mines a nervous anxious thing. Hers sounds more like it’s depression related.”

“Right… It's pretty distressing. I don’t want her to be hurting. She didn’t want to talk about it though”

“Yeah, things like that are hard. Just need to keep an eye out for her. Things have been tough for us all in the settlement. She’d have been quite young when Raxam was destroyed and Shudan Kuro came online. Anything could have happened to her back then”

“That’s true. I don’t know if she has anyone else other than us. She never talks about other owls. She lives in a share house I think and there’s the other chefs in the dining hall. Surely she has friendships with them?”

“Us? I’ve not seen her in weeks. You two time your escapades very well…”

“Maybe we should do something a bit more casual. The three of us could hang out, I dunno, go on a picnic in the woods?”

“That sounds lovely to be honest! Let's do that, be nice before I head on my next mission”

“Oh, you going away again soon?”

“Yeah. Shouldn’t be more than a week, I promise”

“Last time you said a week, it ended up being a month”

“I know. I’m sorry.”

Rocco rubbed his feet with his lover’s. “It’s alright. Just bring me some good space grub back!”

“Oh! I bought some cookies for you!” He went to grab them off the counter and bring them over.

“Wicked! I think I've just about made enough room for them! Just got to go slow”

Krill slowly fed his husband cookies. They were big and moist with large chunks of chocolate inside. One of the older owls baked them as a hobby and sold them in the corner shop for pennies, which is why Krill bought twenty of them. Rocco happily gobbled them up. His belly soon taunt once more with a slight red glow.

The two otters and the owl were walking away from the settlement and into the nearby woods. Kaida was giddy, wearing her transparent coat with the hood up to protect her from the early morning mist. The other owls were still in bed. The trio had decided to go out as early as possible since later that night Krill was leaving on his mission.

“Ahh! It’s so cool that we’re going on a picnic. I’ve never gone into the woods with friends before. I usually just wonder about by myself.” Kaida was carrying bags of food.

“These woods are lovely! We love going down to the river and having a swim. Reminds us of home, doesn’t it Krill?”

“Yeah! Remember our first kiss? After you fell in that river on the way to your grannies and you were so upset but then we kissed and it was so magical”

“Oh my god yes. My whole family just staring at us dripping wet and snogging.”

“Aww that sounds so cute! I’m just imagining seeing all the cutie little otters watching you both” Kaida said.

“My cousins weren’t cute!!” Rocco added.

“Your granny was though, bless her!” Krill also added.

“Yeah” Rocco smiled, remembering where his granny’s house was. It was deep in the woods, similar to where they were heading today.

“Do you remember much about Raxam, Kaida?” Krill asked.

She was silent for a moment, her giddiness subsiding.

“Not really. Less nature than here, it was all very built up. One massive city and had all these super tall skyscrapers. Everyone was so focused all the time on their work. I don’t really like thinking about it though”

“Sorry. I know it must be hard”

“It’s fiiine! I was like five. I barely remember it at all” she laughed, masking her pain.

They were all quiet, beside the clapping of Rocco’s cheeks, as they continued walking deep into the woods. Soon they arrived at their destination. A lovely creek with a meadow. They whipped out the picnic blanket and set things up. They’d brought plenty of food, mostly for Rocco to enjoy.

“Wow, this spot is lovely!” Kaida said, her excitement returning.

“Race you to the pool!” Rocco ran, surprisingly well for a man of his stature and cannonballed straight into the water. A huge plume of water flew into the air and came raining down on Krill and Kaida, leaving the pair soaked.

“Damn, he almost emptied it!” Krill exclaimed.

“Legendary” Kaida looked at the whale of an otter as he surfaced then began swimming around.

Kaida and Krill joined Rocco in the water. They swam and played. It was a fun day away from the settlement and responsibility. Rocco and Kaida were good friends at this point, their chemistry was strong. They enjoyed each other's company and felt comfortable with each other. But that chemistry rubbed off on Krill too, her and Kaida shared many laughs, they had a similar sense of humour. They all enjoyed the hotdogs and various other snacks Kaida had prepared. Rocco having at least ten times the portion as them two. The otters loved the water, they seemed more comfortable in it than they did on land. Kaida swam for a while, but after eating stayed by the shore, choosing to watch the pair of otters get intimate in the water. Rocco floated extremely well thanks to his size.

After a great day out they returned to the settlement with a couple hours for Krill to get prepared for his trip. Krill had a backpack and a duffle bag. Inside there was various equipment including a sniper rifle. He avoided showing it to Rocco wherever he could. Still a part of him felt he needed to hide this side of his life from his partner. Rocco was holding back tears after hugging his husband for as long as he could squeeze him for, desperate to not let him leave. Eventually he had to.

“Oh my gosh I am going to miss you so much. Please stay safe” Rocco expressed.

“Cya later, my sweet. And you, Kaida, keep him fed!” Krill said as he walked off to the central hub of the settlement, waving goodbye, holding off his own tears.

After a short chat with the settlement leaders Krill was teleported to a ship in orbit to meet with his team before quantum leaping across the galaxy. Rocco and Kaida watched the sky to see the ship as it did this, just leaving a small bright line in the sky.

“Thanks for today. I enjoyed getting to know Krill more, I can see why you married him. Shame he has to go away for a while though” Kaida said.

“Yeah. I wish he could stay with me, safe and sound. But he has to do this. No one else is up for it”. Rocco shook his head.

“I’m glad someone is kicking ass for us. None of the owls would dare.”

“Sova would if she could still”

“True.” Kaida agreed.
