Zootopia Epilogue: Mutual Feelings
I know that this is definetly not the first Zootopia fanfic on SF, and I also realize that I'm not breaking any new ground with the content or premise. But I wanted to write it, so I did. :) This story picks up right at the end of the movie, after Nick and Judy pull Flash over for speeding. As always, comments are greatly appreciated and if you come across any typos or mistakes, please let me know.
As soon as Nick and Judy got back into their cruiser, both of them burst into gales of uncontrollable laughter. After several minutes, Judy regained her composure enough to speak, wiping a mirth-induced tear feom the corner of her eye. "Who'd believe that our notorious street racer was a sloth?" She giggled again, her ribs aching. From the passenger seat, Nick chuckled.
"Yeah, no kidding. I figured the fastest thing about Flash was his name." The fox chuckled again , and, together, they watched the sloth pull his car back into the stream of traffic, moving at a much more sedate pace. Judy glanced at the clock on the dashboard.
"Well, guess we'd better get back to work. We've still got an hour on our shift."
Nick nodded and picked up his coffee cup from the cupholder. "Yeah, or else we get to listen to the chief carry on about time management. Funny, considering all he does with his spare time is play around with that Gazelle app on his phone."
Judy snorted. "Yeah, him and Clawhauser both." As the bunny pulled away from the curb, a car blew by them, almost sideswiping the cruiser. Judy slammed on the brakes, and Nick's coffee went flying. The fox yelped as the hot liquid covered his lap. Judy's eyes went wide with concern and embarassment. "Cheese and crackers! I'm so sorry, Nick!" The bunny dug a wad of napkins out of the console and leaned over, mopping up the hot coffee from her partner's lap. As she did so, her paw brushed up against something hard. She looked up at the fox, one eyebrow raised quizzically. "Is that a pawpsicle in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"
The fox's face flushed with embarrassment. "Uh... It's a pawpsicle, I swear."
A small smile touched Judy's mouth. "I think we need to have a little talk, Nick." She glanced back at the clock. Despite the lecture they would undoubtedly recieve, she thought they could probably get away with calling it a day a bit earlier than usual.
"A talk?" Nick felt a hard lump in his throat. "Look, it's not a big deal. Can we leave it at that?"
Judy shook her head. "Nope. Let's turn the cruiser in and we'll go grab a bite to eat. There's a good place just down the street from the station." Nick knew the resteraunt she meant, Meowrice's. It was touted as one of the finest resteraunts in the city, and catered to both predators and prey species alike.
"Uh... Judy... I don't have any cash. I haven't gotten my paycheck yet, and that place is really pricey." Judy smiled gently.
"I'll buy."
..........
Thirty minutes later, the duo had turned in the cruiser and changed into civilian clothes. They left the station, walking side by side down the busy street toward Meowrice's. Nick wore a plain white t-shirt and khaki shorts, clean for once, while Jusy had changed into a pair of old jeans and a tank top. As they walked, Nick found his eyes drawn to Judy, observing the way her cute little tail poked through the back of her jeans, and the way her hips swayed gently as she walked. The fox felt a blush rise in his cheeks and quickly looked away, pretending to window shop.
For Judy's part, she was too preoccupied with her own emotions to notice. Despite her calm, collected demeanor, her gut fluttered nervously. She knew full well that what her paw had contacted in the cruiser was no pawpsicle. She was naive, but not THAT naive. The truth was, she had deep feelings for the fox, feelings that delved far past comraderie. The bunny tried to think back to when the feelings had first arisen, and was somewhat startled to find that they had been present from the very start.
When Judy had first seen Nick slinking into the elephant ice cream parlor, she had felt a strange attachment to him. When she had discovered the fox's pawpsicle scam, she had been livid... but a part of her had also been impressed, if not flat out infatuated by the fox's guile. When she thought that she had lost Nick for good after the press conference, her heart had been broken. Now, after all they had been through together, her feelings were even stronger than before. Now was the time to say something, for better or worse.
The duo had arrived at the resteraunt. Nick held the door open for Judy, and theh stepped inside. Meowrice's was a lavish eatery, decorated with plush velvet carpets, red silk tableclotbs and beautiful crystal chandeliers. The zebra hostess showed the two to a table, wrinkling her nose slightly at their underdressed appearance. Indeed, the rest of the clientele were garbed in expensive suits and fancy evening gowns. Nick fidgeted in his cbair, unaccustomed to the posh atmosphere.
"Uh... Judy, couldn't we have just gone for burgers or something? This isn't exactly my scene."
The bunny rolled her eyes. "Nick, mammals can't live by burgers alone. Besides, I've heard this place has a stellar carrot wine I've been dying to try."
The fox looked at her skeptically. "Carrot wine? Really? Are carrots the only thing you think about.?"
"The bunny grinned devilishly. "Yeah, carrots and pawpsicles." The fox blushed and was silent.
The waitress, a young tigress, came by and handed over two menus and took their drink orders; sweet tea for Nick and a bottle of Chardonnay Carrot for Judy. The bunny poured herself a glass of the wine and took a small sip. The orange colored wine was exceptional, well worth it's high price. She handed the glass to Nick. "Here, try this. Grow a little culture."
The fox sniffed the beverage cautiously, then took a sip. He made a face, and moved to spit the liquid back into the glass. Judy snatched it away just in time. "No, Nick. Swallow it."
Nick obliged, then took a long gulp of his tea. "That's the most horrid thing I've ever tasted. Why on earth would you actually spend money on that, much less drink it?"
The rabbit giggled and topped off her glass. "Oh, c'mon, Nick. It's not that bad."
The waitress came back to take their order. Judy motioned for Nick to go first. The fox glanced at his menu. "Uh... Any chance ya'll could just make me a cheeseburger?" The waitress looked at the fox in disbelief. Judy quickly intervened.
"He'll have the chicken parmesan. And I'll have the chef salad, with extra carrots and tomatoes." The tigress nodded and jotted down the order before taking their menus. As she moved on to the next table, Judy gave Nick a scathing, half-amused glare. "Really? A cheeseburger?"
The fox shrugged. "Well, heck, what kind of resteraunt won't make a cheeseburger?"
"One that doesn't use numbers to identify it's meals." Judy took a long drink of her wine. It was time to broach the subject she had invited him to dinner to discuss. "Nick, we need to talk about something."
Before she could continue, Nick held up a paw in a 'stop' gesture, then leaned forward and snagged her wine glass. He downed the remainder of it's contents, grimacing, then motioned for her to continue.
"I thought you didn't like the wine."
"I don't. It's horrible. But I have a feeling this is going to be a serious conversation, and I wanted a drink first."
Judy rolled her eyes, then poured another glass for herself before continuing. The butterflies in her stomach were fluttering frantically, and she took a deep breath to steady her nerves. "Nick, I have a confession to make. I... I have feelings for you, feelings that go much deeper than friendship or partnership. I know it's... unconventional, to say the least, for a prey species to have feelings like this for a predator, but..." The bunny swallowed a thick lump in her throat. "Nick, I love you."
Nick looked at the bunny with wide, disbelieving eyes. Judy felt her heart sink into her gut. She knew, just knew, that the fox would get up and leave, and she already felt a desperate ache in her heart, her very soul. If he left the table, she felt she would shrivel up and die.
But after a long minute of silence, Nick's paw snaked across the table and rested gently on top of her own. She looked up into his eyes, and was startled to see unshed tears welling up. "Judy... As unconventional as it may be, I love you too."
The bunny's heart thundered joyfully in her chest, and the fluttery sinking feeling in her gut was replaced by an almost naueseating ecstasy. She smiled broadly, and clasped her paw tightly around his.
At that moment, the waitress chose to return with their food. The tigress cast a disdainful eye at the show of affection between the two as she doled out their order. "Anything else I can do for you tonight?"
Judy looked at the feline and rolled her eyes. "Yeah. Go away."
.......
When the duo had finished eating, the waitress brought their check. Judy groaned inwardly when she saw it. It looked as if she would be eating microwave dinners for the rest of the month. Nick saw the look on her face and grinned. The fox extracted his wallet out of his pocket. "I'll cover half."
Judy looked at him quizzically, one eyebrow raised. "I thought you were broke."
Nick's grin widened. "It's called a hustle, sweetheart."
Judy rolled her eyes in mixed exasperation and amusement. "Of course it is. Let me guess, smart fox..."
"Dumb bunny. You catch on quick, Carrots." The two split the oversized check, wating while the waitress brought their change back. "How big of a tip should we leave?"
Judy snorted. "A tip? For what? I don't think we should pay extra for being condescended and looked at like something she scraped off her shoe."
Nick chuckled. "Yeah, I suppose not." The waitress brought their change back, and the duo got up to leave, weathering a glare from the tigress as she noticed the lack of money left at the table. Nick and Judy proceeded out the front door, waiting at the curb for a taxi. As they waited, Judy's paw slid down and gently grasped Nick's.
"So... are you heading home for the night?"
Nick shrugged. "I dunno. Not much to do at home, admittedly."
Judy cleared her throat nervously. "Would... would you like to go back to my place? I hqve a bottle of my dad's homemade blueberry liqour in the fridge."
Nick smiled and raised an eyebrow. "I don't know that that suggestion is strictly appropriate, Carrots."
Judy grinned. "Since when are you worried about what's appropriate? Besides, I would hate to have to drink that whole bottle by myself." A taxi slowly cruised by, and Nick flagged it down.
"I never worry about what's appropriate. Your place it is."
..........
Twenty minutes later, the cab dropped Nick and Judy off in front of Judy's apartment. They held paws as the two entered the building, passing the front desk and heading up the stairs. On the second floor landing, the fox suddenly pulled Judy into a passionate kiss. The bunny's heart hammered madly as their lips met. The kiss continued for what seemed like a blissful eternity, though, in reality, it couldn't have lasted longer than a minute. When they finally seperated, Judy was panting with a mixture of nervousness and need. She was aroused, and she could see that Nick was just as excited as she herself was.
The couple continued up the narrow stairs and down the hall to Judy's apartment. The sound of loud, thumping music echoed through the building. "Sorry, that's my neighbors. They're a bit noisy, to say the least." Judy unlocked the door and they stepped inside. Nick cast a speculative eye around the tiny, sparse apartment.
"Not much to see, is there?"
Judy shrugged. "I don't spend much time here, honestly. And I never have time to decorate."
The fox chuckled. "I'd offer to help, but..."
"Empty beer cans and pizza boxes stacked in the corners of the room don't count as decoration, Nick."
"Sure they do. They offer a sort if lived-in feng shui to the place."
"Do you even kniw what feng shui means?"
Nick gave Judy a cocky grin. "Nope. But it sure sounds fancy." The fox sat down on the edge of the bed, feeling the matress sag under him. "Now, about that bottle of blueberry liqour..."
Judy rolled her eyes good-naturedly and opened the small fridge, extracting the bottle. She grabbed two plastic cups from the top of the microwave and poured each of them a half glass of the strong, sweet liqour. Nick sniffed his appreciatively and took a small sip, smacking his lips in delight.
"Gotta hand it to your old man, Carrots, he makes mighty fine booze."
"Yeah, you should see our family reunions. Three to four hundred drunk bunnies hopping in circles and trying to see how much of the stuff they can drink without breathing." Judy collapsed onto the bed, sipping at her own cup as she cuddled up close to Nick. The fox stroked her thigh absently.
"So... I'm fine either way, but did you invite me over to get drunk or was there something else going through that little bunny brain of yours?"
Judy sighed contentedly and kicked out one leg. "Keep rubbing my thigh like that and you'll find out." Nick's paw continued it's slow, languid motion, steadily creeping higher on Judy's jean-clad leg, until he tentatively brushed it across her groin. Judy let out a small gasp, and the fox yanked his paw back, blushing.
"Sorry."
"No, do it again."
The fox smirked as his paw rubbed gently over Judy's groin, and the bunny shivered in pleasure. Nick could feel a slight dampness forming under his paw, and the faint scent of female arousal caught his attention. His paws trembling slightly, the vulpine unbuttoned Judy's jeans. "Well, naughty bunny! Someone didn't bother with panties this morning."
Judy blushed. "I never wear anything undernearh. I don't like feeling constricted." Nick ran his fingers over her tight, hot lips, then withdrew his paw and licked at the damp residue coating his fingers.
"You're all hot and bothered." The fox leaned in and ran his tongue across the downy fur surrounding Judy's eager mound. The bunny let out a gasping moan as her companion lapped at her hot sex. After a minute or so, Nick plunged his tongue into her. The bunny let out an excited gasp and sat up, flinging her arms around his neck and grinding eagerly against the probing tongue.
After several minutes, Nick gently pushed his lover back down onto the bed. He downed the rest of his drink and set the cup aside. Judy followed suit, and the two gazed into each other's eyes lovingly. Nick unbuttoned his shorts and shucked them off, kicking them and his boxers into the corner. Judy eyed his hard cock with a mixture of excitement and nervous apprehension.
"Nick... I... I've never done this before."
The fox raised an eyebrow and smirked. "I thought bunnies were good at multiplying."
Judy blushed. "We are, once we have some experience."
Nick chuckled and gently pulled her jeans off, letting them fall to the floor. Her shirt came next, quickly followed by his own. The fox shivered with anticipation as he looked at her nude form. He petted slowly over her small, well formed breasts and down her stomach. "Has anyone ever told you that you're beautiful?"
Judy blushed and didn't answer, her eyes roving over Nick's form. Without a shirt on, she was pleasantly surprised to see, the fox was well built; defined, but not overly muscled. She stroked his thigh with one foot. "Not too shabby youself."
Nick smiled and placed his paws on either side of her, bending low and giving her a long, slow kiss. "Are you sure you want to do this? I won't be mad or disappointed if you say no." Judy bit her lip and nodded. "It may hurt a little, at least at first."
Judy nodded again. "I know. But I want this. I want YOU. Just... Be gentle." Nick smiled at her lovingly as he lined his cock up to her damp entrance.
"Take a deep breath. It'll hurt less if I do it all at once." Judy nodded, breathing deep, her eyes clenched shut. Nick bucked against her quickly, forcing his entire length into her in one swift motion. Judy yelped, and tears welled up in her eyes. The bunny felt a wrenching, almost sickening pain as her hymen tore, and a thin beadwork of blood welled up, running to the edge of her pussy. She gasped and bit her lip almost hard enough to break skin as the pain quickly subsided to a dull throb.
Nick leaned in and kissed her softly on the mouth. "That's the worst of it, love. I'll stay still and let you get used to me for a minute."Nick stopped his forward push, and waited, gently stroking the bunny's thigh. "You're doing great love."
After a minute or two, the throbbing in Judy's loins quieted. She couldn't help letting out a soft chirr of pleasure at the feeling of her lover inside her. As the pain faded, she found herself grinding gently against the fox's hard member.
Nick groaned. "You feel so damn good inside, Judy. Are you ready?"
Judy blushed a little. "Whenever you are."
Slowly, lovingly, the fox dipped his hips down and began to thrust and grind into her. Judy whimpered softly at the new sensation and moved to push back against the fox's hard shaft. Nick placed a gentle paw between her breasts and pushed her back down.
"Let me do the work, hun, at least for this first time." Judy nodded and laid back, a soft groan of pleasure escaping her mouth as the fox's cock rubbed against her clit. "Does it feel good, love?"
Judy nodded, her eyes half lidded. "Yes... But more than that, it feels right." Nick increasd his speed slightly, murring softly at the feeling of her tight walls enveloping his hard cock. His paws tweaked her nipples gently, making the bunny gasp as she arched her back.
Nick slid an arm under her waist and lifted her up, pulling her towards him. "Judy... When the time comes, I'll have to pull out." He smiled sheepishly as he pushed into her harder. "This wasn't on my agenda today, otherwise I would've brought a condom."
Judy shook her head. "No, leave it in me. I want you to finish inside."
The fox looked at her in disbelief. "But what if..." She cut him off by leaning up and kissing him.
"What if what? I carry kits for you? I would be proud to do it."
"But what would your parents say? We aren't even married!"
Judy laughed softly. "Bunnies don't usually marry. My parents are one couple out of a dozen that bothered with it. They would understand. And if they don't... Well, that's their problem."
Nick nodded and groaned as he ground into her again. He was trying his best to be gentle, but the urge to let loose and rut her hard was building. He gritted his teeth and continued his slow, easy thrusts. Underneath him, Judy let out a soft, sighing moan. She gazed up at him with lust filled eyes, as if she could read his mind. "Go for it, Nick. Rut me hard."
The fox needed no further urging. With a soft growl, he drew back and then rammed into her hard. His hips bucked against her as his cock pummeled her tight, hot cunt. Judy let out a squealing cry and raised her hindquarters off of the bed, giving him free reign over her sex. The vulpine rammed into her again and again, panting raggedly with lust and exertion.
Judy's flanks trembled and her blunt claws dug into the blankets as he mated her. She could feel something slowly building inside her, like a slow, pleasant electric tingle. The sensation built as the cock inside her continued it's hard, frantic rythym. Before long, the sensation was almost overwhelming. Her vision seemed to narrow and unfocus, until, finally, she gave a loud cry and came, her first orgasm crashing over her like a swelling wave, obliterating all other senses. Her whole body shook and jerked as she gave in to it.
Above her, Nick felt the hot walls of her pussy clamp down on his cock, milking the organ. He bucked into her several more times, then gave in to his own climax. The fox spasmed and let out a loud yelp as he pumped his hot, musky load into his willing partner. Judy groaned beneath him as she felt his seed coat the inside of her used sex.
As his hard climax receded, Nick lay forward on top of his lover and gently kissed her neck, both of them panting. Judy chirred siftly as Nick pulled out of her. They both lay there, cuddling in the afterglow. Next door, the loud music had subsided, and a calm silence lay over them.
"Was that good for the first time, love?"
Judy nodded emphatically. "Yeah, it was more than good."
Suddenly, a loud voice from next door broke the silence. "Whoo! Fox got him some cotton tail!"
"Shut up, bro! They can hear us!"
Judy blushed and rolled her eyes, and Nick laughed softly. "Stellar neighbors you have here."
"Tell me about it."
Nick rolled to the side and pulled Judy to his chest. "I love you, Carrots."
Judy nuzzled into his chest. "I love you, too, Nick. And don't call me Carrots."
