Redeeming Beasts: The Conclusion

By Furio

11/23/2009

For BeastFan, my fans and friends, and ALL who love the incredible Beast.

Beast carried Kenai for what seemed like hours. The bear was so happy to be in the huge creature's grasp, he didn't want to be let down. Unfortunately (or was it fortunately?), they at last entered Beast's bedroom, where Beast slowly set down Kenai onto some cushions that were piled up nearby.

"This is where I sleep for comfort," said Beast, "But I feel very bad that I made you sleep on that hard floor in the other room."

"It's alright," said Kenai, looking up at the gigantic furry creature looming over him, "I'm just happy to be with you...but, if you don't mind me asking, um, what are we going to do?"

Beast looked down at the wide-eyed bear and just smiled. He got down on all fours over the bear and gently pressed his snout against the bear's muzzle. "Kenai, would you honor me with being my first?"

"Your first what?" said Kenai, puzzled.

Beast laughed so heartily, the walls seemed to shake. "My first time, you silly bear!"

"First time for wh-oohhhh..." said Kenai, finally understanding. He looked directly into the sweet blue eyes and affectionately rubbed his muzzle against the snout. He raised his arms slowly and placed them around Beast's back, as far as they would go, letting himself get lost in the fur.

Beast slowly let his tongue enter Kenai's parted lips again and let it loll inside the bear's mouth gently. Kenai felt himself get dizzy and aroused by the scent and taste of Beast's inner body. He could not believe this was happening. Never in his life had he felt this close to someone, and it was only getting better by the moment.

Beast slowly broke the kiss and stood straight up over Kenai again. Kenai was reminded of his first encounter with Beast and how he looked exactly the same, except now the stance was one of pride and love, rather than domination. Beast let his paws slowly rise to the clasp around his cloak, unhooking it, and letting it gently slide from his shoulders, it fell to the floor without the slightest noise.

Kenai's eyes widened as he realized that Beast was now fully naked in front of him. This should have not been surprising, considering that he himself had been "naked" since they first met. But it seemed that the last few traces of humanity that Beast carried within disappeared with the cloak. The fire in Beast's eyes burned brightly as his smile continued to warm Kenai's heart.

He slowly leaned down and got on all fours, pressing the tip of his snout against Kenai's black nose. "My beautiful ursine brother..." he growled quietly.

Kenai slid his claws through Beast's thick mane. "My sweet....er....unique brother..."

Beast laughed heartily and gave Kenai a long warm lick. Kenai responded with a tight warm hug, and rolled over with Beast on the floor, reveling in the sweet captivating warmth that came from a large protective creature like Beast, or more similarly, like himself.

The two large creatures wrapped paws, legs, and arms around each other as they kissed again, their long tongues sliding against each other as warm and free as their bodies did the same. Kenai could feel his heart racing faster and faster as the kiss became longer and deeper. He felt a fire, stronger than any he had seen made by his tribe, spark into existence within his heart. As he let go of the kiss and looked once more into Beast's sparkling blue eyes, he knew only one thing.

He wanted Beast.

This creature was not only beautiful, he was attractive. His whole body was primed for mating, yet the creature had no mate. This, he deemed, was blatantly unfair.

Kenai felt the tingle and itching from the night before suddenly surround his body again. He looked down and saw his limp penis starting to twitch. Oh no... he thought, with a certain amount of dread.

Beast was apparently oblivious to these reactions. He was getting pure joy out of noticing Kenai's body, his smile, his eyes, and...

Suddenly, Beast stopped, his senses thrown off by something.

"Beast," said Kenai, sensing something was up, "What's wrong?"

Beast got up on all fours and raised his head. He sniffed the air a couple of times and waited a moment, then sniffed again.

He sensed something very different from what he was used to smelling all day. He sniffed the air again, and closed his eyes.

Whatever this was, it was good.

Beast took a deep, long inhalation through his nostrils and slowly let it out, eyes closed, a smile of perpetual contentment engraved on his face.

"Beast...um, are you alright?"

Beast did not say anything, but continued to inhale deeply and purr quietly. Slowly he parted his fanged lips and spoke: "Your sssssscennnnnt...."

"My what?" asked Kenai, who sat up momentarily.

"Incredible," whispered Beast, who proceeded to move his head down and all over Kenai's body, sniffing every part with utmost scrutiny.

"What is?" laughed Kenai, who thought this the silliest thing he had seen. "I mean, it's just my body odor. It's not like it's-"

He stopped. He sniffed the air. Kenai's eyes widened and he sniffed again. He looked at the marvelous 700 pound creature who was now nosing his muzzle against Kenai's hind paws.

The slow clambering vine of a smile gradually made its way across Kenai's face as he sensed the most incredible scent he ever knew.

"Beast..." he whispered. "Your....YOUR scent...."

Beast did not respond. He was too busy moving his muzzle deep into the fur all over Kenai's belly and chest. Kenai smiled, leaned forward, and began nosing his muzzle through Beast's fur, and was immediately pleased to discover that the magnificent creature was currently in the process of giving him one of the greatest gifts an animal could give another beloved animal, in the heat of passion.

Sweat.

The sunshine through the glass had succeeded in heating Beast's fur, and therefore, his body, enough to give his body the attributes of a million incensed candles. Kenai could also tell the same rule had applied to him, and the fact that both creatures were currently wrestling on the floor, smelling each other as much as possible, did not help their libidos to wane.

Beast growled and twisted the huge bear in his arms in all different directions, so he could sense every part of his brother's...no, his lover's body all at once. Kenai allowed such actions to be taken with utmost acceptance, as it only allowed him to inhale more of his beloved.

The two creatures growled and murred with pleasure as they intertwined with each other. "Mmmmmmrrrrrrrrrr," growled Kenai. "Your fur..."

Beast growled and smiled at Kenai. "Your paws...."

"Your chest..."

"Your arms..."

"Your body," whispered Kenai, "So big.....soooo huge..."

Beast growled more and more, his snout getting more wild in sniffing Kenai's body as he said, "You are so incredibly sexyyyyy...." He felt his already enlarged heart swell and beat faster as he felt his own body twitch and itch with the onset of arousal.

Kenai closed his eyes and laid back, willing to submit to Beast completely. He sighed in pure contentment, but then stood still as he felt the sniffing actions of Beast stop, and be replaced by a sudden pounding sensation on either side of him. He opened his eyes to see a familiar scene - Beast was on him again, all four paws slammed on the ground, blue eyes full of fiery passion, and what seemed to be a menacing growl on his fanged lips.

"B-beast...are you alright?" asked Kenai.

He heard the mighty creature laugh deeply in his throat as the most amazing sensation ever met his lower body. He raised his head and looked down to see a beautiful and unique sight.

Beast's penis was fully erect. It seemed to be twice as big as Kenai's, and in that manner, Kenai felt rather scared. However, Kenai saw that this massive member was not about to be used in any painful fashion. Rather, Beast slowly rubbed it back and forth against his own penis. The sensation filled every atom of Kenai's body with utmost pleasure. He felt his body grow warm, with pressure being applied almost everywhere. Kenai dropped his head back and growled with simultaneous relaxation and arousal.

This was INCREDIBLE.

"Beast..." moaned Kenai through deep breaths, "Wh-wh-what's happening to m-m-me...oooohhhhhh..."

Beast parted his fanged lips and whispered sensually, "I want you, beautiful bear....and I want to do this with you...I want to propagate life with the one I love, fully and completely..." Kenai was amazed that even Beast's rich growly voice could arouse him as much as his touch.

"And," Beast continued, stroking Kenai's neck with one paw, "I want to see this beautiful bear create life like he did last night."

Kenai grinned, with his eyes still closed, "You actually enjoyed that?"

"Remember, I said I thought it was beautiful...so beautiful that..." Here, Beast momentarily stopped rubbing. "I couldn't help but produce it myself...I wanted so badly to touch you. Maybe...maybe that's why I came in to stroke you... I wanted to be close to someone, especially a beautiful creature like yourself."

Kenai lost all control and pulled Beast's head close to his chest. "Please," he whispered, "Take me..." He felt Beast's powerful broad thighs resume in the steady rise and fall as they thrust deeply again against Kenai's hips. Both creatures' fur stood on end completely as arousal primed their bodies more and more.

The bear breathed in and out rhythmically and deeply, feeling the dizzying feelings of arousal strip away his consciousness. He closed his eyes, only relying on the scent and feel of Beast's furry body to direct his actions. He lifted one paw, placing it on Beast's chest, right over where his heart lay pounding underneath. The rapid pulse excited Kenai even more...

And all through this, Kenai could feel the mighty penis of Beast thrusting against his own. It was so unique, to feel such a smooth, thick rod gently weave its way through layers of soft fur, like nothing he had ever experienced before. He even felt Beast's wet nose sniff and press all throughout Kenai's chest fur.

He couldn't deny it. It was real.

"Beast...I love you....I actually love you!!!!" said Kenai happily.

Beast only growled and murred in response, but the bear could tell that the larger creature loved him back and was only lost in the throes of sexual lust. Their hips continued to rub against each other, when suddenly Kenai felt an odd sensation in his thighs.

It felt like they had momentarily expanded, and the feeling flowed into his groin, where something inside opened up. His eyes widened as he realized what was going to happen.

"Oh no," he whispered. "Beast...I...I don't know if I can..."

Beast momentarily lifted his huge head and moved up to meet Kenai's, his cerulean eyes nearly piercing Kenai's black ones, and his huge tongue giving him a momentary lick. "Do it, brother...let it out....I...I..." He suddenly squinted his eyes, and his expression changed to that of prolonged pain. But somewhere deep inside, Kenai realized that Beast was feeling something much more pleasurable.

He threw his paws around Beast's back and felt the warmth from his groin spread to all corners of his body. He felt hot, hotter than the sun itself, and indeed, it felt like he had just burst into flames. He squeezed Beast tighter, hoping for some reason that he could set his lover aflame as well. All human behavior left them completely, and they felt their base animal instincts take over. They were of the wild, of nature, of the earth! Kenai screamed and roared, and Beast roared with him as both animals writhed in each other's arms, gearing themselves up for the most incredible feeling either beast would experience in their lives.

Both creatures suddenly felt their penises expand and bloom, like two beautiful roses. The whole world seemed like it had begun to move with extreme slowness as Kenai pulled Beast's head to his own and plunged his long ursine tongue down his lover's throat.

At that moment, it happened.

Beast roared words of love, obscenities and primal words of lust into Kenai's throat as he felt the head of his penis burst open into a geyser of creamy fluid, only to meet a like geyser that had erupted from Kenai's own penis. His testicles felt engorged as they drew closer to his body and continued to feed atoms of life into his penis, which flowed freely through Kenai's fur, like a river of life-giving water through parched grass. Their paws moved erratically all over each other, wanting to know each other thoroughly and explore each other. They felt like gods, creating life itself from what seemed like nothing, enriched by each other's bodies, love, and forgiveness, and desiring only to create and give back the love they had received from each other. Kenai felt his own orgasm take over his body completely, as he rocked his head side to side rapidly, lost in lust.

"OHHHHHHH BEEEEASSTTT!!!!"

Beast rolled over so Kenai was on top of him, making it easier for him to wrap his ursine brother in his arms and squeeze him tightly. His chest heaved deeply, and even though he had stopped ejaculating, the orgasm's effects still took control of his brain, freeing it from the confines of shame.

Suddenly, he opened his blue eyes wide. He became very still.

Kenai licked and kissed his lover over and over all around his muzzle, but also saw the sudden change in Beast. Breathing deeply with the aftereffects of what they had experienced, he asked, "Beast....what's.....wrong?"

He didn't seem to be in pain, anger, or confusion. Rather, an expression of utter clarity seemed to fill his eyes.

He got up slowly, standing on his hind paws. He raised his humped back straighter, so he looked proud and mighty, towering over the bear, who was still in the dizzying pleasurable warmth of afterglow.

"What is it?" asked Kenai, feeling rather confused.

Beast closed his eyes. A single drop of seminal fluid shone on the tip of his penis, then was allowed to fall, shining, onto Kenai's chest, where it was lost in fur.

"I am...the Beast..." he growled.

A few seconds passed before he repeated, "I am...the Beast...of the forest..."

Kenai allowed these simple words to sink in, but they didn't seem to have the strongest effect as they sounded like they should have. "Um, huh?" he asked nervously.

A grin formed itself across the furry, fanged muzzle of the beautiful creature. He opened his eyes, a radiant blue beaming from them.

"Je suis la bete...du bois..."

"Um, what?" said Kenai. Although he didn't understand the words, they sounded so...beautiful. A language that, like Beast's form, was unnatural and archaic, but carried so much beauty within it...

Beast looked down at Kenai, an expression of utmost love and gratefulness in his eyes.

"Blaise," he whispered.

Kenai cocked his head. "I'm sorry, what?"

Beast slowly moved his gaze to Kenai's eyes. "My name....it's Blaise. Blaise Jesute du Bois."

Kenai smiled broadly. "You remembered??!!"

Blaise's fanged lips curved slowly into a huge smile and he rapidly picked up his brother from the ground, hugging him close to his heart. "You...you helped me remember!!! Kenai, you....my dear, sweet brother!! How can I ever repay you?!!" He licked Kenai over and over until the bear worried that he would shrink with every lick.

"Okay, okay!!! That's enough!!! Stop, please please stop!!!" Kenai laughed uncontrollably at the ticklish, dizzy feelings. What a way to treat someone after a period of wild, uncontrollable sex!

After both creatures calmed down quite a bit, Kenai looked back at his brother. "Blaise...that's...that's a very beautiful name."

Blaise smiled broadly. "I can't believe I've remembered...it's been so long...Not even my servants ever called me that. I've...I've only known 'master' and 'sir'...nothing else!!!"

Kenai could barely contain the blush that darkened his fur noticeably. "I'm...I'm happy you remembered....Blaise." He nuzzled Blaise's chest closely as the huge creature growled with extreme satisfaction, holding the bear close to his heart the whole time.

They snuggled in this fashion for some minutes, until Kenai's desire to explore Blaise's fur once more became overwhelming. He tenderly sifted a large paw through the creature's chest, until he saw something catch onto it from his paw. He gasped in horror.

"Kenai?" asked Blaise, suddenly, looking down. "What's wrong? Are you alright?"

"Oh, Blaise, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!!"

"Didn't mean to what?" Blaise pivoted his great head down, his expression changing into quiet shock.

"You're bleeding! I didn't mean to scratch you, honest!!"

Blaise said nothing, but continued to look at the large spot of red on his fur. His heartbeat quickened.

"A-are you okay, Blaise? Please...say something! Anything!"

The great beast's jaw wavered as he slowly took the spot of red off his fur between two claws, raising it in front of his blue eyes. One of them seemed to sparkle with a tear as his breathing became labored, his face an expression of utter confusion and disbelief.

Kenai was confused. That must not have been blood, if Beast could just "peel" it off so easily. He raised his head to get a better look.

It was definitely red, and almost translucent, as Beast held it up to the light. He stood up slowly on shaky hind paws.

"I-impossible...."

Kenai swallowed hard. He didn't want to even THINK about the possibility that he had screwed up everything with whatever this was! He backed away a step or two, flattening his ears, feeling fear overcome his heart again.

"Where...where did you find this...WHERE?!" roared Blaise so loudly, the walls shook.

"I-I-I-I d-don't know!" stuttered Kenai. "It...it must have stuck to my p-paw or something! I'm sorry! I'm really-"

He stopped talking as he watched the fleck of red begin to sparkle. He blinked in surprise.

Blaise continued to hold up the strange piece of red material as it sparkled more and more brightly, creating several streams of light that began to shine all over the room. Kenai felt a surge of incredible spiritual energy, matched only by his experiences on the mountain in touching his brother and Koda. He watched in amazement as the light emanating from the small red scrap of material poured through the whole room and into the corridor. Kenai felt something inside him guess that the light was somehow pouring into the whole castle; it was getting incredibly bright, almost blinding.

Blaise immediately let go of the scrap, but it did not fall. It hovered in the air before both of their eyes, continuing to surround them in brilliant light. Streams of it surrounded Blaise completely, momentarily hiding him from Kenai's sight.

"BLAISE!" screamed Kenai, rushing towards the spot where Blaise had stood.

"GGRRAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!" came a deafening roar as the whirling aurora that Blaise was caught in seemed to explode, throwing Kenai back against a wall.

"Aaaahhh..." moaned the bear, feeling quite a bit of pain from the impact. He shook himself and looked up again, the sights now so amazing, that they successfully distracted Kenai from realizing any pain he was in.

The lights touched every piece of broken furniture, cloth, and material, completely repairing they until they looked good as new. The paint and trimmings that covered the walls and decorations in the corners completely shined up until they looked remastered. The whole place somehow seemed to gleam, bit by bit, in renewed beauty, as the lights from the tiny piece of red material touched everything around him.

Soon the lights faded, and the red material fluttered silently to the floor, and Kenai found himself inside one of the most beautiful places he ever could have imagined.

It was indescribable, at least, to him. He had never seen such beautiful craftsmanship of anything in his own tribe, much less seen such an array of color and light, next to everything that he saw in the forests and lands beyond. He was speechless.

He was even more dumbstruck to see a large lump of royal blue sitting a few feet from him, where Blaise had stood.

He slowly approached the lump out of curiosity, wondering if it hid Blaise somehow, when suddenly, it moved. Kenai jumped back a bit in caution, but watched with wonder as the lump stood up, and slowly turned to face him.

He could do nothing but gape.

There stood Blaise, but a million times more beautiful than he could possibly imagine. He was dressed in garments that he had never seen the likes of before. They were of the deepest blue, perfectly matching those entrancing eyes, and his mane was tied back into a short tail behind it, with a short blue ribbon. He wore black trousers that seemed to match his shape and physique perfectly, as well as an upper garment of white with blue and gold trimmings.

Although the attire was strange to Kenai's eyes, he guessed that they signified the creature's true princely form, as they spoke regality in every way possible.

He found himself bowing his head deeply before the great beast, wanting to show the greatest respect possible.

"Kenai....I....how...."

Kenai looked up to see Blaise turning over his paws again and again, looking at the cuffs of his shirt and waistcoat, looking down at his trousers, and breathing in what seemed like a steady panic the whole time, his blue eyes wide in shock.

"I...I tore this up into shreds!! How it can it be repaired again...and on me?! How can this...how can the castle be renewed?!!!" He looked around him wildly, apparently just as confused and amazed at his surroundings as Kenai was.

Kenai was at a loss for words, but suddenly heard a soft clanking sound coming from the hall, accompanied by other odd clanking sounds and, strangest of all, voices.

"But 'ee iz not 'ere! Why would 'ee bozzer to lock us up and toss ze key in la poubelle?"

"You know the master...he's a thousand times larger than us! It's only obvious that he would shut us up all together in such crammed spaces when he's in one of his moods!"

"Come on, now, we don't remember what we even did to merit such actions. Let's ask him first and-"

The party of voices crossed the entrance to the room. Five pairs of eyes instantly looked through the door way at each other, and silence conquered all.

Kenai blinked. In the doorway were three...objects...of some kind that he could not identify, although one sported three small torches of fire on himself, and seemed to be most surprised at seeing Kenai.

"ZUT ALORS!!! UN OURS!!!" he shouted. "ALLEZ!! SORTEZ!! PAS D'ESPACE POUR DES OURS ICI!" The fiery object hopped angrily towards the bear, intent on incinerating him.

"Wh...huh?" said Kenai, feeling completely confused. "I don't understand!!! What's happening?!"

All three objects gasped, and even the fiery one stopped suddenly. The rounder object hopped forward and said gently, "Oh my...we didn't know you were under the spell, too! We apologize...but...I'm afraid I don't recognize you!"

Kenai recognized the voice as female, and rather older, but gentler, much like the medicine woman of his tribe. He felt himself relax at such a soothing, familiar voice and was about to explain his presence, when:

"LUMIÉRE!! COGSWORTH!!" shouted Blaise suddenly. "MS. POTTS!!!"

Kenai turned to see Blaise with the most open-mawed, biggest smile he had seen since encountering the huge creature. He couldn't help but grin at how utterly cute and un-beastly he looked at the moment.

"YOU'RE ALIVE!!!" The great beast practically leapt across the room, landing in front of the two doorway-guarding objects, and scooping them up in his arms, hugging them close, and sobbing loudly.

"ACH!" cried out one of the objects, struggling in the huge beast's arms, as Blaise growled and cried, over and over. "PUT ME DOWN!! PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANT....Er....master!! Please?" His voice went from annoyed to pitiful rather quickly, and he stopped struggling.

"Wait, 'master'?" said Kenai. "Are you....are you his servants?"

The female object, which looked like a small pot of some kind, nodded gently. "Indeed we are, sir. But I must say that I am QUITE surprised to see the castle back in its original state...while we are not!"

"Maitre," said the torch-laden object, "Might I have ze pleasure of TOSSING this despicable MONSTROSITY out into ze forest?!" He still looked very upset to see Kenai, and ready to fight, if necessary. The bear felt slightly afraid of such a bizarre creature, but since he was eight times bigger than it, he felt like laughing, too.

"You will NOT harm him, Lumiére!!" said Blaise suddenly with a forceful growl, setting the two other servants down gently. "Treat him as you treat me, is that understood?"

The third servant looked behind at Blaise in shock. "M-m-mais..."

"This creature...this magnificent bear," said Blaise, motioning a huge paw towards the flat-eared Kenai, "...is my brother, and honored guest of this castle as well. You will serve him as you serve me: with respect."

Blaise grinned and added, "And salmon whenever he needs it."

The pot smiled and chuckled a bit. "I must admit, master, that I have not seen you smile in ages."

Blaise laughed, and the servants gasped once more. Kenai could tell that the beast had not done THAT in quite a while, either.

The great beast looked at one of his paws, and turned it over, chuckling lightly. "I suppose...my physical form has not changed...but my heart...might have somewhat changed very recently." He looked over at Kenai and smiled again. "And I'm afraid that this bear is to blame."

Lumiére, the fiery object, smiled broadly across his golden finish. "So you have broken ze spell?"

The other object, who had a round face with strange symbols all over it, rolled its eyes. "He did NOT break the spell, you dunderhead! We're not back to our normal forms!"

"I don't CARE if you're not back to your normal forms, now or ever!" cried out Blaise. "You're ALIVE! That's what matters, more than anything else! Do you have ANY idea how HAPPY I am?!"

"Master," said the round-faced object, "No offense, but that is FAR too obvious. In fact..." Here he squinted at Blaise and folded his short wooden arms. "How do I know that you're not an IMPOSTOR?"

Blaise's smiled quickly turned into a frown. He stomped one heavy footpaw down on the floor in front of the shivering wooden object, whose eyes had gone from extremely narrow to extremely wide.

"Is that any way for you to speak to Blaise Jesute du Bois?" said the great beast in the most horrifying, deep, slow growl that Kenai had ever heard. He felt the fur on his back rise in both excitement and fear at such a growl.

"No, sir! It's not! It's completely unfounded and idiotic of me! I deserve to be overwound for that!" The object immediately began reaching around his back for a device that he turned, causing two lines on his face to circle slowly as he squinted his eyes in pain.

Blaise laughed loud and long, and picked up the object, gently turning the device the other way. "Relax, Cogsworth. I was just trying to prove a point."

"You remembered your name, monsieur?" said Lumiére brightly.

Blaise nodded. "Again, thanks to the bear...I mean, Kenai. It was quite...exciting to remember, I must say." He adjusted his trousers and gave Kenai a knowing wink, which the bear reciprocated.

"But how did it all happen?" said a tiny, young voice, which had apparently hidden itself by the doorframe the whole time. Kenai watched it hop closer and closer to the scrap of red that still lay on the nicely polished floor. He smiled as he saw that it was a small cup of some kind, and seemed to match the same color and design as the pot. "What's this?" it said, curiously.

"Why, that's a petal from the rose," said the pot in quiet surprise. "So is it still in bloom? Do we still have a chance?"

Blaise's eyes widened as he looked at the scrap again. He instantly leapt out of the room, running quickly down the hall.

"Where's he going?" asked Kenai in concern.

"I don't know," said Cogsworth, looking down the hall. "But I think he will return...just give him a minute."

"Hey, you're a bear!" said the tiny voice, which was already sitting near Kenai's right paw. "I'm Chip, what's your name?"

Kenai smiled and looked down at the tiny cup. "I'm Kenai. It's...nice to meet you."

The cup jumped in surprise. "And you can talk?! Are you under the spell, too?"

Kenai sighed and listened to the small, curious, excited voice. He sniffed back a tear. Koda, he thought tenderly.

He then looked at the other servants, realizing he had never answered the question to begin with. How to explain all this...

"Well...maybe Bl-I mean, the master can explain it all to you in time."

"Awwww..." whined Chip, disappointed. The pot hopped close and kissed the cup tenderly and nudged him back across the floor.

"It's okay," said Kenai. "He can hang out with me whenever he wants. I got a lot of stories to tell him."

"YAY!" shouted the cup as it leapt up high. It hopped back to Kenai's paw, as he gently patted it and smiled, thinking of his beloved brothers the whole time.

He looked up only to realize that Blaise was walking back into the room, this time very slowly, carrying what Kenai recognized as the see-through domed container that he had found just the previous day. He blinked as he saw that inside the dome was a flower. A flower he had never seen before, but matched the deep red of the scrap that had changed everything just a few minutes ago. An intensely beautiful flower.

"Incroyable!" shouted Lumiére, the flames from his head and hands burning stronger. "It ees in full bloom once more!"

"But," said the pot quietly, "It's no longer sparkling...I see no more petals falling from it..."

All were silent for a few minutes as Blaise gently set the dome on a nearby table in front of Kenai. Everyone looked at the flower in solemn reverence. To his confusion, the bear could see that no one was really smiling.

"Is...is something wrong?" asked Kenai inquisitively.

"Well," said Cogsworth, wringing his wooden hands in anxiety. "Y-you see...long ago-"

"I already told him, Cogsworth," said Blaise quietly. "You don't need to go into any detail." He slowly lifted the dome of the container and took the flower in his claws with the most delicate touch imaginable, comparable only to how he had stroked Kenai's fur on that last glorious night.

"That..." started Kenai, stunned at the beauty of the bloom in Blaise's paw. "I've...never seen such a flower before."

"It's called a 'rose'," said Blaise quietly. "Quite the unique creation...just like you."

"More like you," said Kenai gently, smiling. Blaise smiled as well and rolled his eyes. He gently moved the rose in his paw and scratched at the stem lightly, picking off the sharp barbs that grew along it.

"Monsieur?" asked Lumiére, who had hopped a bit closer. "What are you doing?"

"No more thorns..." mumbled Blaise idly as he picked off the last of the thorns, tossing it aside with the others. "Ask Yvette to throw them out later. For now..." He went down on one knee in front of Kenai and looked deep into his eyes, holding the rose out in front of his nose.

The bear took in the glorious scent of it, merged with Blaise's natural scent. Tears came to his eyes as the most deepest of emotions threatened to overflow them, should the slightest impulse make them burst.

"Kenai...my beastly brother...would you do me the honor...of....of ruling by my side?"

That did it.

Kenai's eyes widened and the tears started to flow in rivers as he realized what Blaise was asking him. He hadn't even explained to the servants what had happened, and already the great beast was asking him to...to...

"W-W-W-W-W-W-W-W-WHHHAAAT?!!" screamed Cogsworth. "B-B-B-B-B-B-B-BUT..."

Blaise lunged his huge head around and growled menacingly at the wooden object as both Ms. Potts and Lumiére nudged him in the sides. Only the wooden one looked completely confused.

Blaise turned back to Kenai, who was staring at the rose, transfixed. His eyes eventually moved to Beast's own blue ones, where he saw a perfect reflection of himself and the rose in both of their pupils.

So many things to say. I'd be a horrible ruler. I'm not fit to be in a place as magnificent as this. How can a bear rule a kingdom? How will we live together? What if it doesn't work out? His head overflowed with questions and anxieties.

A single huge paw on his own, slightly smaller one pushed all those worries aside.

"I...will."

Blaise seemed to hiccup over and over as his smile broadened and his crystalline eyes dimmed. He let go of Kenai's paw, only to gently move the rose down towards Kenai's neck and tie the stem in a gentle knot, next to the totem he wore. Although Kenai could no longer see it, the great scent continued to permeate his nostrils, filling his heart with more happiness than he had ever known.

"I...Blaise...I....I'm...."

Blaise placed his huge paws on both sides of Kenai's face and moved closer, gently inserting his tongue into the open muzzle and sharing another passionate, soulful kiss.

The servants did not notice much after this, as they were too busy tending to Cogsworth, who had just fainted.

They stood outside the snow-covered grave, looking solemnly at the two twigs, crudely fashioned into a cross.

Blaise gently, quietly placed a single rose, one from their new garden in the courtyard, on the snow, and gently placed his paw in it, leaving a large pawprint under the rose.

"I wish I knew her," said Kenai quietly.

Blaise nodded quietly. "Maybe...maybe someone will come...someday...and free me from this curse in another way. Maybe I'll be given another chance, like I was given when you entered my life."

Kenai sighed. "I don't know...My transformation was permanent, even if by choice. Besides," he turned to look at Blaise with plaintive eyes. "Would you really want me to give you up to someone else?"

Blaise gently stroked Kenai's headfur. "I would think it rather difficult for me to leave YOU."

"I...Blaise, I....I love you enough to let you go, if I have to do so. I won't stop you from doing what you need." The bear growled quietly and nuzzled the greater beast's side.

Blaise couldn't help but laugh at this. He knelt down and wrapped his arms tenderly around Kenai's thick, furry neck. "You do realize that when you say things like that, I love you even more?"

Kenai grinned and chuckled. "You know, I thought that...when the spirits took me away from the mountain...that I had lost everything. I still miss them so much and think of them...but..." He looked at the great castle behind him, still incredibly beautiful, even after its renewed transformation. "I have a new family now...and new friends...and someone to love...even a few new brothers."

"Chip's still waiting to teach you how to play chess. I think his mother wants him to find a worthy opponent."

"Oh, snap! That's right!" said Kenai suddenly dashing for the castle before realizing his error and sprawling to a stop. He turned around to see Blaise laughing and walking after him, picking him up easily in his arms.

"I'll tell you this much, Kenai," said Blaise, nuzzling the bear's muzzle affectionately. "I've never been more lucky to find such a beauty as you."

"I could say the same thing," said Kenai, smiling and inhaling the rose's enchanted scent, as they went back to the castle, where they would indeed live happily ever after.
