A little bit of humor and a tease for FA: DrakeHavok during the last stream, involving my character Treble having a few humorous antics with his character Havok.

Singing with the Snake For DrakeHavok By draconicon
"One of these days, I'm going to have to get back to Novus Ager," the naga superhero said to no one in particular.
He slithered along the sidewalk, feeling more bored than anything as the streetlights flickered above him. Treble, as he was known to old teammates and what villains he fought, paused to see if any of them would go out before continuing on his way, shaking his head again.
Seriously, that city was amazing. Lots of people, lots of villains, lots of things going on...and where am I now? This dump of a town that doesn't even have gangs to deal with, the dozens-feet long naga thought to himself. Why did Thimas even send me here? There's nothing around.
Then again, why did he listen to Thimas in the first place? The badger hadn't been that much of an authority back when they were still the crime-fighting band in the past, and the old man didn't have much to say these days anyway. He was too busy with his toys back in...
"...Oh, you son of a bitch! This was all about that night with the mule..."
Well, that was just perfect, wasn't it? Getting fooled into leaving the city for this nowhere place. Treble sighed, grumbling under his breath as he realized how that one had just flown right by him. Just...peachy.
Well, at least I can get back on a flight out there tomorrow. If there's nothing -
CLANG!
Any superhero worth their salt knew the sound of trash cans being thrown around, and he was no exception. The snake curled his coils up beneath him and shoved upwards, almost using them as a spring to shoot him towards the source of the sound. Across two streets, down a block, and up an alley he slithered, glancing everywhere for the -
He soared over the fight by accident, and he only found out when a thug grabbed the tip of his tail in desperation. The naga's sheer momentum continued to carry him, but the jerk of having an additional two hundred pounds on the end of his tail still caught him hard, and he hit the ground faster than he meant.
Grunting as his breath was momentarily knocked out of him, Treble pulled himself backwards towards the lunkhead holding his tail. He briefly saw a rhino before he brought his coils to bear, burying the thug beneath about twenty feet of scales. A brief struggle occurred beneath them before he started squeezing, leaning over to the covered rhino and whispering to him.
"I am not having a good day. Don't make it worse."
He squeezed tighter, just for a moment.
"Please, don't make it -"
WHUMP!
This time, the flying thug hit him right in the face. A monkey, and thankfully much lighter than the rhino, scrambled along his cheeks and the top of his head, yanking itself around for any sort of handhold. Treble grunted as he flailed around, finally getting a grip on the monkey's tail and yanking him off of his face. Gasping for breath, he fixed the trembling simian with a glare.
"Why...the face?"
"I-I didn't jump you! I was thrown."
"And now you're getting thrown again. Bye bye."
Tossing the light-weight over his shoulder, he finally looked down the alley at the others occupying it. Someone was responsible for the scratches and the interruption of his cool line, and he was going to find out who.
The only ones left were a white-scaled dragon and a smaller rat, circling one another. Treble shook his head. He wasn't in the mood for a long, drawn out stand-off. Giving the rhino in his coils a sudden spin and sending him off like a top, he slithered forward until he was right between the two, his sapphire-colored spandex top glimmering as he stepped under the only light in the alley.
"Okay, you two, break it up."
The rat immediately took the opportunity to run, and the naga let him. If it meant the fight was over, that was one more person that couldn't get thrown into his face. At this rate, he wouldn't be surprised if there was a pie out there just waiting for him...
When the dragon tried to give chase, Treble lashed out with his tail, snagging the dragon around the ankle.
"And wheeeere do you think you're going?"
"After that guy!"
"Why? Did he steal your lunch money or something?"
"Very funny. They tried to mug me."
"Hmmph."
"What?"
"I just saved you."
"Are you kidding? I saved myself."
"I sent the leader running off!"
"And I beat the other two."
"You threw one of them in my face!"
"You shouldn't have been in the way!"
"In - you - I'm a superhero! You should be thanking me for even being here!"
"Yeah, well, 'superhero,' I'm late getting home. How about you let me go so I can get out of here before someone else comes by and tries to beat us up."
"Beat..."
Oooooh, you...you have no idea.... Treble fumed as he glared at the dragon, still waiting impatiently for him to let go of his ankle. He'd been considering it, but after all this...oh ho ho ho, no. No, he was not letting this one go.
Keeping his grip tight, he slithered in close, looming over the dragon.
"Let's make this short and sweet. I'm Treble. I'm a superhero. And I'm going to show you just how much you need people like me."
"Yeah? How?"
"By giving you my 'protection' until you get home. You know what I can do?"
"I don't need -"
The naga cut him off with a sharp, held note, the sound rising high through the tenor scale and drowning out whatever the dragon was about to say. It echoed up and down the alley for a moment or two, leaving the dragon staring at him blankly.
Now THAT is just insulting.
"Look into my eyes, little drake Don't you be afraid. Look into my eyes, little drake As reality comes unmade. The world around you fades away And my world comes to be. The world around you fades away And my world is all you see. "
A simple rhyming song, but it was definitely effective. The dragon's eyes were already glazing over from the soft melody. Treble smiled, slowly circling around the dragon as he kept humming the tones, his coils wrapping up the dragon's ankles and gradually working higher and higher. His scaly length tightened around his little captive, holding him in place as he moved higher, his hands gently grasping the dragon by the head and keeping their eyes locked.
"A world of mine, a world of song Calls you there, holds you in. A world of mine, a world of song Pulls you deep, deep in sin. Be my plaything, be my puppet A superhero's little toy Be my plaything, be my puppet And have everlasting joy. "
"Ever...lasting...jo - mmmph!"
A quick squeeze, just to seal the deal, drew the oxygen right out of the dragon's lungs. The naga chuckled to himself as he kept slithering around the smaller male, feeling his small, slender frame trapped between his coils. It was rather amusing, really; the dragon had been good enough to fight off the thugs, but against a song?
Nobody ever bothers protecting their ears, he thought with a shake of his head. The naga playfully squeezed the dragon's cheeks, tugging them out, smooshing them in, and making him make funny faces.
"Not so high and mighty now, huh? Huh?"
No response. Instead, the glowy-eyes that the trance had left the dragon in stared back at him, empty and thoughtless.
"Right...Note to self. Gloat before trancing."
But now, what to do with this dragon? He'd said he'd protect this guy on his way back, make sure he was safe on the way home. Then again, he should have gotten the address for the dragon's home before putting him in trance...
Then again...
He could feel every little detail beneath his scales of the dragon's body, and it had been a long time since he brought someone back home with him. Perhaps a few days, or even a week could be fun. Besides, the dragon could use someone to teach him some respect, and he figured that this guy didn't have that much to do in the city.
Slowly unwrapping his tranced gift to himself, Treble patted the dragon on the head.
"Follow me. I'll take you home. To my home."
"Yesssssss."
"Hey, I'm the one that's supposed to hiss!"
"Ssssssssorry."
The End
